Dimension X

Dimension X- a fictional world from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Dimension X has a spiral structure and is located at the very center of the Universe. One of the most ancient dimensions and its history is a complex interweaving of the history of its worlds and countless conflicts of races and peoples. Many characters from the Turtles universe live in Dimension X. This dimension once included the planet Guanu, which was destroyed by Krang. The planets Morbus and Khairobyl are a toxic waste dump. The decorations of Dimension X are the worlds of Eden, a system in which entire planets are nature reserves.

Story

Dimension X is a community of intelligent planets located in one of the galaxies remote from Earth. For many years, peace and tranquility reigned there, until one day Krang and his two henchmen Drakuz and Shrek wanted to subjugate the entire Dimension X. Since then and to this day, a bloody war has been raging in this place. Krang's legions of stone warriors are engaged in continuous battles with the United Forces of Dimension X, the vast majority of which are neutrinos - residents of one of the planets who do not want to put up with the power of the invaders. After one of the battles, they managed to throw Krang out of Dimension X along with Technodrome, and his best general, Traag, took command of his troops. Over the next two years, a temporary truce was concluded, and Dimension X was divided into two parts by the asteroid belt - the Krang Zone, which included all the planets he captured, and the Free Zone - the planets he never reached.

Two years later (in the series “Shredder and Splinter”), Krang, together with the Technodrome, returned to Dimension X, and everything started all over again - the peace treaty did not suit him, and the stone troops again invaded the Free Zone. But the neutrinos already knew about his return and were ready for it. Less than a year had passed since Krang's armada was defeated, and a real threat of being caught hung over him. The frightened Krang decided to hide on Earth again (in the series “Return of the Technodrome”) and, having captured it, turned it into his base. But the turtles intervened again, and the villain’s plans collapsed. Together with Shredder and the mutants, he was stuck on Earth for almost a year and a half, losing contact with Dimension X. And there, meanwhile, the United Forces stopped the invasion, but did not dare to launch a counteroffensive. When Krang finally managed to raise the Technodrome from the ground, the new intervention of the turtles again confused his cards. Instead of transporting the Earth to Dimension X, only the Technodrome and four villains went there. The Stone Wars, without understanding, immediately opened fire, instantly turning their fortress into a pile of scrap metal. The Technodrome fell on an abandoned planetoid somewhere on the outskirts of the Krang Zone and remained there for 2 long years. During this time, Krang repeatedly tried to re-conquer Dimension X, but due to the intervention of neutrinos and turtles, he was defeated each time. His army and the Technodrome completely collapsed during this time, and soon Krang again wanted to return to Earth so as not to be caught.

In the end, Krang is deprived of the Technodrome and completely loses control over Dimension X. His last attack fails (the “Turtle Campaign” series), and he is forced to hide on a remote planet somewhere on the outskirts of his former Zone. Peace and tranquility return to Dimension X.

The Ninja Turtles owe their existence to a group of Utroms that crashed on planet Earth. A mutagenic microbiological agent that was a byproduct of one of the aliens' experiments in creating an organic circuit accidently affected four turtles and a rat. This substance gave them the ability to become more humane and endowed them with intelligence.

Neutrino

A race from Dimension X, which, in order to defend its rights, must wage a continuous war against stone soldiers. Neutrinos became good friends and allies of the turtles in the fight against Krang and Shredder.

In their appearance and style, Neutrinos resemble a cross between rockers and punks. Neutrinos have long, pointed ears, like fairy-tale elves. Otherwise, Neutrinos are similar to ordinary Earth people. Neutrinos love to have fun; one of their favorite places in Dimension X is the Pleasure Arena - something like a galactic bar/club for aliens.

Neutrinos use unique flying starmobiles as vehicles for transportation. They look like flying earth machines, armed with laser guns, a variety of tools and a portable Dimensional Fusion portal.

Mornings

A highly developed extraterrestrial race.

Physically, mornings are relatively small creatures. They have no hair, and their skin is usually pink or yellow. Externally, mornings resemble the human brain. The Utroms' only limbs are tentacles, which serve as both arms and legs. They also have a very long lifespan, presumably about a thousand years.

The Utroms are a peaceful, civilized race living in the Theta Galaxy. When the Utromov spaceship flew past the Earth, an accident occurred, and they were forced to make an emergency landing on our planet. Here they spent more than one century - after all, the technologies of our planet at that time were very primitive. Masters of robotics, the Utroms have developed many variations of locomotion devices to harness their speed and strength. While on Earth, they used humanoid-looking "walkers", which allowed them to move more easily among people. The alien was placed in the middle part of the “walker’s” body, where he could easily control the movements of the mechanism with his tentacles. Little by little, the humanoid form replaced the older and more traditional four-legged form. Also, Utroms use special mechanisms for heavy structures and high-precision technical work.

More than fifteen years after returning to their home world, the Utroms decided to visit Earth officially, with the goal of making the planet more developed and bringing it closer to other races. This was a great opportunity to use the Dimensional Displacer for good purposes, and not as a weapon of war. Disregarding pride in the name of trust, the Utroms demonstrated themselves to be a weak and harmless race, which allowed them to gain favor from people and enter into a friendly alliance with the planet. Currently, the Utroms continue to fulfill their goal, moving step by step towards the development of Earth.

Ilintians

Many thousands of years ago there was an island on Earth, whose inhabitants were far advanced in development from the rest of the world. The island was nicknamed Ilinthia, or Atlantis. One day, a rain of magical crystals fell on Ilinthia, the largest of which fell on the mountain and was soon nicknamed the Crystal Sun. All these crystals were sources of great energy that the heavens bestowed on Ilintian.

Soon the Ilintians were so successful in their development that they believed in their superiority over the others. Considering themselves better than others, they began to enslave people. But when they were unable to do the work they were assigned, the power of the Crystal Sun turned them into mutants who were more suitable for the Ylintians.

Finally, people were tired of enduring the oppression of the Ilintians, and, uniting their cultures, attacked Ilintia. But the inhabitants of the island turned the energy of the Solar Crystal into a weapon of mass destruction and one after another began to destroy the enemy ships. Fortunately, their slaves also rebelled against the Ilintians, who turned the energy of the Crystal Sun against him. There was an explosion so powerful that all of Ilinthia went under water.

Some Ilintians managed to survive. Having collected the remains of the crystals, they moved to North America, where they founded a city deep in the bowels of the Earth. But without slaves and a constant source of energy, they could not exist for long and therefore were forced to go into crystal sleep. Only one Ylintian remained awake. He had to monitor the city until the next parade of planets in the solar system, which would charge the crystals with new energy.

When the parade of planets took place, the city came to life. The Ilintians planned to use the Crystal Moon to raise Ilintia from the bottom of the sea. Geological changes of this magnitude could lead to the death of billions of people. But the situation was saved by the turtles, who, like the Ilintian slaves, turned the crystal’s energy against him. As a result of this, the Underground City was buried in boiling lava.

Human Federation

They control a vast part of the Galaxy. Measured in cubic light years, the space they occupy exceeds the territory of the Triceratons. If we count in stars and planets, the Federates do not have even a fifth of the Triceratons, which is explained by the remoteness of the region of the Human Federation from the center of the Milky Way.

Very young and weak, they have little experience and lower technological development than the Triceratons. However, unlike the Triceratons, who have their advanced scientific achievements thanks to the ruins of antiquity and other races, humans came to their level of development through their own efforts. And although the military government of the Human Federation is not one step inferior to the Triceraton in such qualities as dictatorship and unprincipledness, people are more willing to make concessions and truces when it is beneficial.

Mausers

Robots created by Dr. Baxter Stockman. They have a head with sharp teeth and a small body with two legs. Their jaws are strong enough to bite through steel.

Dr. Stockman created Mausers to sell to the government to combat rats, a long-standing problem in New York City. However, his true intention was to use them to rob banks. His assistant April stumbled upon the Mausers and realized the true purpose of these robots!

April escaped from a secret laboratory and ended up in a sewer due to an attack on her by Mausers, who cornered her. She was saved by the ninja turtles; when she saw them, she fainted in surprise. April woke up in the turtle hideout. The Turtles and Splinter told her the secret of their origins, when suddenly they saw a news broadcast where Baxter Stockman demanded a ransom, otherwise he would destroy all of New York! The ransom was not paid and the first building was destroyed. April led the turtles to Stockman's laboratory to stop him.

Each Mauser was approximately 60cm tall, could hold up to five Rats and was controlled by a central computer.

Triceratons

A warlike race of creatures whose Empire occupies the vast interstellar space in the center of the Milky Way. They belong to fossil lizards, and are possibly genetically close to the Triceratops dinosaurs that lived on planet Earth during the Jurassic period. Rude and aggressive, Triceratons are nevertheless completely herbivores, and have a very strong sense of loyalty to their race.

They breathe a compound of nitrogen and sulfur. Outside their native environment, they wear protective helmets to provide them with the necessary atmosphere. They destroyed their home planet for some unexplained reason.

The Triceraton Republic was a magnificent empire whose warriors followed a strict code of honor. But when Master Leader Zanramon took over, the republic began to turn into a world of war and disappointment.

To even the odds against the Federation, the Triceratons sought out Professor Honeycut, who had created the teleporter, a device that could instantly transport anything across the universe. Just like the Federation, they wanted to use weapons for war. They captured the Professor and promised him protection and Triceraton citizenship if he built his teleporter. But the agreement fell apart when the Ninja Turtles who followed him fell into danger. The threat became even greater when the Ninja Turtles were placed in GAMES (a place where helpless creatures pitted against each other fight for fun), but they managed to escape, taking Zanramon hostage to ensure their rescue aboard his personal cruiser. The Triceratons fought against the Federation, who had arrived to capture Fujitoid.

The Triceratons soon tracked the transmat beam from Earth and began to invade to find out where Honeycut was, but the United Nations had no idea what they were talking about. It was obvious that Honeycut was not on the planet as they could not trace his tracks on the planet, so they left, but they returned when Honeycut returned from the Utroms' planet to surrender to the Triceratons. This leads to the Turtles and Honeycut being pursued, trying their best not to give the professor over to the Triceratons.

The Triceratons were trapped by the Federation fleet, who allied with the Earth Defense Force. They are similar to typical human humanoids, but with the exception that they are completely made of stone. Body color is dark red, brown, gray. Eyes yellow or brown. Stone soldiers are no different from each other - they are as similar as two peas in a pod.

Due to the fact that they are made of stone, they do not need clothing as such - the appearance of the Stone Soldiers is already similar to a typical military uniform, including "zinc" (green for Traag) helmets, black "boots" and the emblem of Dimension X - a large “X” on the chest.

Stone soldiers are armed with laser pistols, blasters and grenades. From technology, Stone Soldiers use the Dimension X tank - Technorover, Flying Army Jeeps, Flying Tank, Huge Combat Spaceships.

Thanks to their unique structure, Stone Soldiers are incredibly strong and durable, as well as resistant to physical injury. They are quite difficult to destroy, conventional weapons simply break on them, and bullets bounce off their powerful bodies.

A strict hierarchy has been established among the Stone Warriors; there have never been any cases of disobedience or rebellion - all orders of the authorities are carried out unquestioningly. The soldiers are fanatically devoted to their master, Krang, who is called only “Almighty Krang” or “Mr. Krang.” Stone soldiers are much smarter and stronger than Foot Robots, however, most of them fight on the front lines, and Krang cannot take advantage of this power.

Technodrome

A spherical mobile fortress, similar to a tank, is the location of the main villains of the Ninja Turtles universe, Shredder and Krang.

The Technodrome was designed and built in the IX dimension by Krang and his ally Drakus. As a result of the outbreak of war, Krang was teleported to Earth along with the Technodrome.

Donatello, after making many modifications and improvements, creates the Turtle Van. The main goal of the turtles' machine is to calculate the location of the Technodrome using radars.

The main weapon of this vehicle is a laser cannon installation that extends from the starboard side. The van is also equipped with a radar and a television transmitter. The van is equipped with a smoke screen, mud projectiles and a compression mechanism, the role of which is to compress the vehicle in case you need to drive through a narrow alley or tunnel.

The third dimension arises when we add a third coordinate axis to this system. It is very easy for us, residents of the three-dimensional universe, to imagine this.

Attempts to calculate the length and place of origin of such objects using the laws of physics of two-dimensional space are doomed to failure.

We, inhabitants of the three-dimensional world, see everything as two-dimensional. Only moving an object in space allows us to feel its volume. We will also see any multidimensional object as two-dimensional, but it will change in surprising ways depending on our relationship with it or time.

From this point of view it is interesting to think, for example, about gravity. Everyone has probably seen pictures like this:


They usually depict how gravity bends space-time. It bends... where? Exactly not in any of the dimensions familiar to us. And what about quantum tunneling, that is, the ability of a particle to disappear in one place and appear in a completely different one, and behind an obstacle through which in our realities it could not penetrate without making a hole in it? What about black holes? What if all these and other mysteries of modern science are explained by the fact that the geometry of space is not at all the same as we are used to perceiving it?

The clock is ticking

Time adds another coordinate to our Universe. In order for a party to take place, you need to know not only in which bar it will take place, but also the exact time of this event.

Based on our perception, time is not so much a straight line as a ray. That is, it has a starting point, and movement is carried out only in one direction - from the past to the future. Moreover, only the present is real. Neither the past nor the future exists, just as breakfasts and dinners do not exist from the point of view of an office clerk during his lunch break.

But the theory of relativity does not agree with this. From her point of view, time is a full-fledged dimension. All events that have existed, exist and will exist are equally real, just like the sea beach is real, regardless of where exactly the dreams of the sound of the surf took us by surprise. Our perception is just something like a spotlight that illuminates a certain segment on a straight line of time. Humanity in its fourth dimension looks something like this:

Until now, all theories worked with a large number of spatial dimensions, and the temporal one was always the only one. But why does space allow multiple dimensions for space, but only one time? Until scientists can answer this question, the hypothesis of two or more time spaces will seem very attractive to all philosophers and science fiction writers. And physicists, too, so what? For example, American astrophysicist Itzhak Bars sees the root of all troubles with the Theory of Everything as the overlooked second time dimension. Each dimension exists separately. This is expressed in the fact that if we change the coordinates of an object in one dimension, the coordinates in others may remain unchanged. After one of the battles, they managed to throw Krang out of Dimension X along with Technodrome, and his best general, Traag, took command of his troops. Over the next two years, a temporary truce was concluded, and Dimension X was divided into two parts by the asteroid belt - the Krang Zone, which included all the planets he captured, and the Free Zone - the planets he never reached.

Two years later, Krang, together with the Technodrome, returned to Dimension X, and everything started from the beginning - the peace treaty did not suit him, and the stone troops again invaded the Free Zone. But the neutrinos already knew about his return and were ready for it. Less than a year had passed since Krang's armada was defeated, and a real threat of being caught hung over him. The frightened Krang decided to hide on Earth again and, having captured it, turn it into his base. But the turtles intervened again, and the villain’s plans collapsed. Together with Shredder and the mutants, he was stuck on Earth for almost a year and a half, losing contact with Dimension X. And there, meanwhile, the United Forces stopped the invasion, but did not dare to launch a counteroffensive. But what if we turn out to be not the most multidimensional creatures in the Universe, and the Universe itself has more dimensions than it does now? In the context of general relativity, it is quite simple to construct a space-time framework in which the number of “large” (that is, macroscopic) dimensions would change over time. If the fourth dimension grows large enough, gravitational forces on Earth will be greatly reduced, causing our planet to grow larger, especially along the equator.

People living near the poles will feel as if they are in a reduced-gravity environment, while people at the equator will be in danger of flying into space. At the macro level, Newton's famous law of gravity - the inverse square law - will suddenly become an inverse cube law, greatly decreasing the force of gravity with distance.

If the measurement reaches the distance from the Earth to the Sun, everything in the solar system will be untied. Even if it lasts only a couple of days a year - and if gravity is normal every three months - ours will completely fall apart in just a hundred years.

There would come a time on Earth when we would not only be able to move in an “additional” way through space, when we would have not only an additional “direction” beyond up-down, left-right, and back-and-forth, but also when the properties of gravity would change for the worse. We would jump higher and further, but the consequences for the now stable Universe would be apocalyptic.

Therefore, it’s definitely not worth dreaming about the appearance of the fourth dimension. However, there is also a positive note. We wouldn't have to worry about global warming, since increasing distance from the Sun would greatly cool our world, faster than rising atmospheric carbon dioxide warms it.
