Bridge across the Kerch Strait when construction begins. Crimean bridge - a giant meaningless construction

Became famous exact date opening of the Crimean bridge. During a business breakfast with foreigners, Oleg Belaventsev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the KFD, invited guests to the opening of this large-scale facility.

"We know the date when the bridge will be opened - December 18, 2018, and the logistical problems will be solved," he said. a famous person, "either with you or without you", but we will still do what we have planned. But it's better with you, so welcome."

Recall that on Tuesday, April 12, the first support of the bridge was installed. There are currently 57 towers in operation. In total, according to the project, the builders will have to build 595 supports, for the device of which 5.5 thousand piles will have to be driven.

The 19 km long bridge will cost the budget 211.9 billion rubles.

The movement of cars on the structure will pass through four lanes at a speed of up to 120 km/h. The route will be able to pass up to 40 thousand cars per day.

The parallel railroad will consist of two tracks. From 2019, up to 47 pairs of trains per day will go to Crimea and back. Passenger trains will be able to cross the Kerch Strait at a speed of 120 km/h, and freight trains - 80 km/h.

The arch over the fairway of the Kerch-Yenikal Canal will provide passage for ships 185 meters wide and 35 meters high.

Crimean bridge is one of the largest infrastructure projects being implemented in Russia. It originates on the Taman Peninsula, passes through the existing five-kilometer dam and Tuzla Island. Then it crosses the Kerch Strait, skirting Cape Ak-Burun from the north, and comes to the Crimean coast.

The state contract for the design and construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait was signed on February 17, 2015.

The search for a general contractor for the construction of the Kerch Bridge was complicated not only by financial restrictions, but also by fears of falling under sanctions.

"I must honestly say that there are usually many people who want such objects - here we hardly found a company that agreed to implement this project. And due to limited finances, well, and due to various other restrictions that can be imposed on people who are engaged in this work," Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a "Direct Line" with the Russians on Thursday, April 14.

And then he added that “after all, the company exists, it works, and it works successfully - it also went through the relevant selection procedures, and argued very toughly over the cost for several months - after all, our relevant government services even slightly reduced this final price. I hope Everything will be done with high quality and on time."

Yesterday also received information that construction work on the construction of a bridge to the Crimea are on schedule. This was reported in information center"Crimean bridge".

"The best bridge builders of the country, who have completed global construction projects, have been involved in the implementation of the project: BAM, preparations for the APEC summit in Vladivostok, the Universiade in Kazan, the Olympics in Sochi," the information center added.

I got the first contractor, almost 3 years have passed, for such activities there is almost a record time. In March 2018, the President of Russia said that the opening of the bridge could happen ahead of schedule, in connection with which many questions arose - is this true and what will the early commissioning of the facility affect?

Actually…

It should be taken into account that there were talks about building a bridge between Crimea and the Taman Peninsula back in the days of peaceful relations between Russia and Ukraine, and the first thoughts about this arose back in 2008. At that time, the inhabitants of both countries were already waiting for the bridge to the Crimea to be opened. After that, Russia included this project in the list of transport strategies for the period up to 2030. Initially, negotiations were held at the level of prime ministers, then the presidents of the countries returned to the discussion, and in 2013 documents were signed on the start joint action organization this project.

Despite the fact that politics and military actions on the territory of Ukraine prevented the countries from cooperating jointly, Russia, after uniting with Crimea, decided not to shelve the construction of the bridge, so already in 2014, President Vladimir Putin gave the appropriate orders. Thus, when a bridge to the Crimea is built, it will be decided at once somewhat sharply worthwhile questions, for example, the security of the Crimeans, the ease of migration of citizens without the difficulties of crossing the Ukrainian border, etc.

bridge feature

Do not forget that the project has not only a short time frame, but also a very a complex system creation. The peculiarities of the development of the flora and fauna of that area were taken into account, advanced technologies were used, consultations were held with a hundred specialists, and about 13,000 workers were hired. Such a colossal bridge construction was implemented in our country for the first time, so the whole of Russia is looking forward to building a bridge to the Crimea.

Of course, along with speed, quality has become a priority. Since the structure will immediately be subject to a transport load not only in the form of a motorway, but also railways. The length of the bridge to the Crimea is 18.1 kilometers for a two-lane railway and 16.9 kilometers for a four-lane road.

The design was created taking into account all negative situations natural and man-made nature, therefore, it has an increased degree of stability, protection from storms, heavy ice drift, and can also withstand seismic vibrations up to nine points. The largest storm water treatment system in the country was created. That is, when the bridge to the Crimea is built, no waste from it has been released into the water and will not be released. The structure itself has been subjected to modern anti-corrosion treatment.

well forgotten old

It's hard to imagine that Kerch bridge planned to build 10 years ago, by joining the efforts of the friendly countries of Ukraine and Russia. However, the plan to connect the Crimean peninsula with transport links southern part Russia was proposed by the British. The enterprising government of England seemed to be a successful construction option railway to India just through the Kerch Strait. Then Nicholas II became interested in this project, and even seriously considered it, but the war prevented further plans.

Actually, all this suggests that the Crimean bridge is a great idea. Interestingly, the length of the bridge to the Crimea is longer than the strait itself. Thanks to this, several trading ports will be connected at once. Perhaps, the concept of “every cloud has a silver lining” is applicable here, since it is not known how the fate of the project would have developed if the president had not decided to make the construction of the bridge the main direction of transport development for the next few years.

When will the bridge be built across the strait?

At the beginning of 2018, we can confidently say that the bridge is ready. The final stages of the design of the route and the railway remained. Correct placement forces, functionality and tasks allowed contractors not only to meet the stated deadlines, but also to be ahead of schedules. This was first reported at the end of 2017. In a word, the bridge itself is already ready for the upcoming loads and is waiting for the final preparations before testing and operation. Most of the systems have been verified through natural exposure and testing. The progress of the construction of the bridge to the Crimea began to accelerate before the finish line.

Early Surrender News

In early March 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that a part of the road bridge to Crimea would be opened in a few months. What specific dates the head of state spoke about is not specified. The fact is that the opening of the road for vehicles is already planned in December 2018, but it is likely that this will happen even in the summer. However, as the head of the Ministry of Transport Maxim Sokolov told the media, it is too early to make forecasts in favor of fixed dates. must pass bad times associated with the vagaries of nature. As a rule, they last until the end of March, after which an analysis will be made of when exactly the bridge to the Crimea will be opened.

Russian opinion

All in the same media and social networks Residents of the country are ambivalent about such news. Indeed, Russians feel joy and pride as they observe the construction historic scale. For many, the Kerch Bridge will be a long-awaited event in the development of the country over the years. However, Russian residents are worried about the quality of construction and do not think that it is worth rushing and putting the object into operation ahead of schedule. We will wait, do not rush - this is the general mood of the citizens of our country. Indeed, everyone appreciated the incredible work that both the head of state himself and the construction teams did, and when the bridge to the Crimea is opened - in winter or summer, it is not so important for the majority.

Major event

However, there are this moment actual and specific dates to which the whole country is guided. They were declared from the very beginning and practically did not change, which, of course, indicates a good calculation. Thus, the Crimean bridge across the Kerch Strait will be commissioned by the end of 2019. The official date for the opening of road traffic is December 2018 (according to some sources, it was moved to May), and the railway lines will open a year later - in December 2019.

Expected that locals they will arrange a holiday along the entire length of the bridge to the Crimea (as far as possible), and the president will also take part in the opening Russian Federation. Indeed, it will be one of the most important events in recent history Russia, it is nice that we have the opportunity to observe such a development of the state. It makes no sense to count how much money was spent, but imagine how many nights, effort, human labor were spent. The knowledge that the whole country is waiting for this bridge encourages 13,000 workers to continue to work hard. Perhaps when the bridge to the Crimea is finally built, political situation will change.

The construction of a bridge from Krasnodar to Crimea across the Kerch Strait is approaching the finish line, Russian officials say. Even I, though not particularly interested in recent times, I heard that almost 70% of the work is completed. In this regard, from August 3, entry to all adjacent territories and observation platforms of the construction of the bridge is prohibited - they are taken under guard by the fighters of the National Guard.

It is understandable - after all, after the annexation of Crimea and failed attempt to break through Mariupol a land corridor to Russia, this is an object special attention, including personally President Putin. True, few people remember that so far this object is a dead end. Even if the bridge is completed on time, there will be nowhere for a motorist to go after he crosses the Kerch Strait - federal highway to Simferopol is not ready now and is unlikely to appear in 2018.

I will not turn to the distant past, as it is now fashionable in Russia, and talk about the useless Tsar Bell or the meaningless Tsar Cannon. In modern times, there are enough examples of how Russians, successfully overcoming difficulties, implemented gigantic projects. At the same time, they did not receive practical benefits comparable to the costs.

Perhaps the most a prime example for the reign of Vladimir Putin is the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014. Even according to the Accounts Chamber, the costs of the Games amounted to about 325 billion rubles. According to independent estimates - at least twice as much ... And then the money was clearly thrown away. Conceived as a powerful public relations stunt, the Olympics were practically forgotten - both at home and abroad - after the annexation of Crimea in March of that year.

Another example is the bridge to Russky Island in Vladivostok. It was successfully, with difficulty meeting the deadlines, built for the APEC summit. This is a unique design. And now, hundreds of students go to study along it, because no one needs the bridge except them, because the route is a dead end, there is no way to go further than Russky Island, except by swimming ...

The problem for Russia is traditional - fools and roads. The former are planning to build the latter and, as a result, there are simply no roads yet. A tangle of almost insoluble contradictions is created. Motorists will have a unique opportunity to ride with the breeze over the bridge over the sea and already with Crimean side get stuck in a long traffic jam. So far, only a couple of kilometers of road have been built on one side of the bridge and several hundred meters on the other.

As for the railway span of the bridge, the benefit from it will also be very modest until the state company RZD electrifies the Crimean railways. And they plan to take it no earlier than 2021 ...

The gigantic demonstration project will run into impassability and for many more years will be, like the Sochi Olympics, a good idea that has run into the Russian imperial impasse.

According to him, development transport system Crimea and Sevastopol the most important direction federal target program. In addition to the construction of the bridge, reconstruction is envisaged highways, the amount of financing is 112 billion rubles. First of all, it is planned to reconstruct the road Kerch - Belogorsk - Simferopol - Bakhchisarai - Sevastopol. It also provides for the development of air transportation serviced by Simferopol and Belbek airports.

The construction of approaches to the bridge crossing to the Crimea will begin in August at the expense of Russian Railways, said the Minister for Crimean Affairs Oleg Savelyev.

“In fact, the (construction) of approaches will begin as early as August at the expense of Russian Railways,” Savelyev said. “We will experience quite large costs and problems during the construction of approaches to the bridge from Krasnodar Territory".

The Minister recalled that the total cost of the bridge to the Crimea will be about 247 billion rubles. The bridge will be built in alignment with the island of Tuzla, "so as not to interfere with the operation of the ferry crossing and reduce technological risks."

Maximum project cost, including design and survey work, will amount to 228.3 billion rubles, of which 227.8 billion rubles will be allocated from the FTP "Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city federal significance Sevastopol until 2020". In 2014, the project will be financed in the amount of 500 million rubles by budget appropriations provided for by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation under the subsection "General economic issues".

Earlier, the FTP planned to spend 246.9 billion rubles on the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait.

Rosavtodor is responsible for the implementation of the project. The bridge is planned to be completed by 2018. The total length of the transport crossing is 19 km.

It was planned to build the bridge in two stages: the 1st from the fall of 2014, the second from 2018. The first stage of the bridge will consist of a railway track and a motorway with one lane in each direction. The bridge will be expanded in the future. Financing for the construction of the first stage of the bridge will amount to 170 billion rubles, but after a meeting with the participation of the President of Russia and the announcement of the completion date for all work, it was decided to build the bridge in one stage. Financing will be carried out entirely at the expense of the federal budget of the Russian Federation. The total cost of the project is 283 billion rubles.

On September 5, 2014, the construction of transport (road and rail) approaches to the bridge began.

On October 1, 2014, the Ukrainian side officially announced that it was terminating the agreement on the construction of a bridge across the strait.

On October 29, 2014, the representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov proposed to build a modular flexible tunnel instead of the bridge.

On November 8, 2014, it was announced that the project would be implemented by Rosavtodor, and the full feasibility study of the project, which is currently being handled by the Avtodor Group of Companies, would be ready by early December. At the same time, Andrei Kostyuk, deputy head of Rosavtodor, said that the decision had already been made and the bridge project had already been determined - it would be a four-lane electrified combined road and rail bridge.

On December 9, 2014, there is still no single contractor for the construction of the bridge. By the end of the year, the government of the Russian Federation must choose the only contractor under the contract for the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait worth 228 billion rubles (excluding approaches from the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory). The construction project has not yet been fully approved, no one understands what kind of geology it is.

The bridge is unlikely to be built without the consent of Ukraine

24.12.2014 the situation around the construction of a transport passage through the Kerch Strait is becoming more and more confusing. Until now, it seemed that the main problem was the lack of a feasibility study and a general contractor for the project, but yesterday the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the construction of the bridge requires the consent of Ukraine, which Kyiv will not give, and proposed to build a tunnel. Maritime law experts confirm that existing treaties require the bridge project to be coordinated with Ukraine, and say that Kyiv has the right to challenge the construction in international courts.

According to him, this is due "to international legal norms, according to which the Sea of Azov is a zone of general navigation." It is "hardly possible" to get Ukraine's consent, the official noted, adding that the construction of the underpass would be cheaper and would not require approval.

Determine legal status Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait, Russia and Ukraine have been trying for about 20 years. In 2003, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation in the use of the Azov-Kerch water area as " inland waters two states", all issues should be regulated by an agreement between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. In 2012, the countries signed a statement on the delimitation of the maritime space, but administrative boundaries were not established, and the use of the water area is still determined by the 2003 agreement.
The Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties applies to the 2003 treaty. This means that the Russian Federation cannot violate its terms if it does not suspend it, referring, for example, to the provisions of Article 62 "Radical change in circumstances", implying a change in the status of Crimea. But, he notes, most countries do not recognize the transfer of Crimea to the Russian Federation, and Ukraine has every chance to challenge this "radical change" in international court or in the UN conciliation commission, and, as practice shows, such processes can take decades. Kirill Dozmarov from Art De Lex believes that due to plans to build a transport crossing, Ukraine is under the threat of blocking the strait for the transit of its own ships.

In 2015, a general contractor was found for the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait

01/14/2015 Stroygazmontazh, a billionaire Arkady Rotenberg, allegedly a friend of Putin, will be the general contractor for the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait.

The choice of "Stroygazmontazh" is largely justified by the fact that "the company has at least some general contracting experience." Earlier, Stroygazmontazh acted as the general contractor for the construction of the Russkaya compressor station on South Stream.

The draft government decree on the appointment of the Rotenberg structure as the executor and the draft agreement with this company have already been sent for approval to the relevant ministries and departments. Full list participants of the large-scale project has not yet been formed. It is assumed that Stroygazmontazh will do half of the work, and other construction companies will do the rest.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree appointing Stroygazmontazh as the sole contractor for the design and construction of a transport crossing across the Kerch Strait.

Within the framework of the federal target program (FTP) for the socio-economic development of Crimea, 247 billion rubles will be allocated for the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait, and this amount does not include long-range approaches. According to the plan of the Russian authorities, the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait should be built in 2018-2020.

February 4, 2015 At a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with government members, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak reported:

"As a result of competitive negotiations and due to the optimization of technological solutions, it was possible to reduce the maximum cost of the bridge by 19 billion rubles; is - 228.3 billion rubles.

"This price cannot be changed under the terms of the contract either during the design or during construction," he stressed.

The opening of automobile traffic in the operating mode and the start of temporary operation of the railway line are planned for December 18, 2018. The width of the Kerch Strait is from 4.5 to 15 kilometers. According to the published order No. 118-r of January 30 on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation, the cost of the work will be 228.3 billion rubles.

The Cabinet of Ministers included the crossing of the Kerch Strait, which will be built by 2018, in the M25 (A290) highway

The construction of a transport crossing through this strait will ensure the creation of a new transport connection between the mainland of the Russian Federation and the Crimean peninsula

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed Decree No. 412 dated April 28, 2015 on the inclusion of sections of roads and a transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, which will be built by 2018, into the highway common use federal significance M25 (old account number, which can also be used until December 31, 2017) (A290) is a highway of federal significance in Russia. Passes within the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Crimea. Is an integral part European route E 97.

The construction of a transport crossing across the Kerch Strait will ensure the creation of a new transport connection between the mainland and the Crimean peninsula using a highway, the resolution says. The new transport route will include, among other things, the planned construction of an entrance from the highway to the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, a transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, an entrance from the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait to Kerch, as well as road approaches to the ports of Kavkaz and Taman.

The Decree made appropriate changes to the list of public roads of federal significance and to the list of other federal roads.

According to the decree of the government, the opening of automobile traffic on the bridge across the Kerch Strait in working mode should begin in December 2018. The commissioning of the bridge and the completion of the state contract are scheduled for the summer of 2019.

On May 16, work began on the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait in Crimea.

At the moment, the bridge is being built on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as on the island of Tuzla, which is located in the Kerch Strait between Crimea and mainland Russia.

According to latest information, in the Krasnodar Territory began the construction of a temporary technological bridge. According to experts, such a crossing is necessary in order to bring materials and equipment for the future capital structure.

The very design of the bridge across the Kerch Strait is planned to be completed by June 30. The length of the bridge will be 19 km, the new structure will include both a car crossing with two lanes in each direction, and two railway tracks.

Preparation of materials for seizure land plots for the needs of construction will be completed by August 5. By this time, the infrastructure that is necessary to start this large-scale construction will be prepared.

The piles of the new bridge will be driven down to bedrock to a depth of up to 70 meters. The spans are planned to be assembled at the Kerch shipyard "Zaliv".

"It will be a conventional but very technological bridge using exclusively domestic materials, designs, technologies. Therefore, we are confident that our transport industry, our road bridge builders will be able to implement this project in deadlines", - said the Minister of Transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov.

He said that the main stage of preparatory work, both for the construction of the bridge and related to the development of a feasibility study, has been completed. A contract was signed for the construction and design of the bridge with fixed price. Work is underway to lay road and rail approaches.

"I can say that not only me, but also our entire team that is involved in this project, has always had confidence in their abilities and the ability to implement this project. Really difficult geological conditions. The seismicity of the object is 9 points .... But still, despite these risks, as well as environmental and archaeological ones .... Still, this project can be implemented," Sokolov noted.

The Government of the Russian Federation has appointed businessman Arkady Rotenberg as the contractor for the design and construction of a transport crossing across the Kerch Strait. The width of the Kerch Strait is from 4.5 to 15 kilometers.

The purchase of works with a total value of 228.3 billion rubles will be carried out by the Rosavtodor FKU Uprdor Taman. temporary operation of the railway line is planned for December 2018.

Builders drive piles to create a transition

From the side of the Kerch Peninsula, work has begun on the construction of a temporary bridge, which will become a corridor along which building materials and utilities will be transferred to the other side.

The roar was heard even on the city embankment. Work is in full swing. Builders put marks on concrete piles, while machinery drills the ground and plunges supports into it.

08/17/2015 and the construction site of the bridge across the Kerch Strait was scored

first pile. At present, builders from the side of Kerch are cutting through the ground with huge drills, the diameter of which reaches half a meter.

According to the press service of the city administration, meter marks were applied on the piles to control how deep the structure went into the ground.

On August 31, 2015, temporary working bridges began to be erected between Taman and Kerch.

The first bridge will be completed this autumn. It will connect the Taman side and the island of Tuzla. Two more working bridges - from the island of Tuzla to the navigation channel and from the channel to Kerch - will be created by the summer of 2016. Auxiliary bridges will provide independent from weather conditions access to construction sites.

"It's an important part of the event. preparatory period. They are intended for the delivery of materials and equipment to the place of production of the main works and for transport communications," the SGM-Most company noted.

Earlier, in the area of construction of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, tests of soil strength began.

The construction of the bridge across the Kerch Strait is on schedule

Construction work on the construction of automobile approaches and a transport passage through the Kerch Strait is proceeding on time and without violations, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak told reporters during an inspection of the construction on Tuzla Island.

"The construction of the bridge is proceeding on time, without violations. At the same time, the tasks of connecting the island of Krym with the mainland of the Russian Federation were being solved. Several problems are being solved at once technological tasks, such as the consciousness of temporary auxiliary structures, as well as the laying of a main gas pipeline and an energy bridge to the Crimea. All work is on schedule," Kozak said.

01.10.2015 2009, traffic was opened on the first of three working bridges necessary for the construction of a transport crossing across the Kerch Strait. A temporary bridge was laid between the Taman Peninsula and Tuzla Island.

“After the bridge is put into operation, we will be able to carry out delivery flows of inert materials and metal structures for the subsequent stages of the construction of a transport crossing around the clock in one and the other direction,” said Leonid Ryzhenkin, head of the department for special projects at Stroygazmontazh.

In the construction of the first temporary bridge, 58 supports were installed, which were sunk to a depth of 56 meters. Traveling to the other side by truck takes no more than 5 minutes, on foot - 15 minutes. The total weight of metal structures used in the construction of the working bridge exceeds 3.5 thousand tons. Before the start of construction equipment on the temporary bridge, the builders successfully tested the bridge structure for loads. To do this, trucks weighing 45 tons were driven across the bridge in both directions.

"According to the results of static tests, it was found that the bridge fully complies with the calculated prerequisites. There are no residual deformations, the deflections correspond to the calculated ones. The bridge can be operated under the action of super-heavy, special loads during the construction of the Kerch bridge," she noted. CEO Research Institute of Diagnostics Svetlana Bokhanova.

According to the representative of the contractor, two other bridges - from Tuzla Island to the shipping channel and from the fairway to the Kerch coast - will be ready by the summer of 2016. The facilities will ensure the delivery of workers, cargo and equipment, including heavy cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 250 tons, to the work site along the entire construction front, regardless of weather conditions.

Currently, preparations are underway for construction, work is being carried out on the shores and in the water area of the strait at the same time. Thus, in the city of Kerch and in the village of Taman, shift camps are being created to accommodate bridge workers, and mobile plants for the production of concrete and asphalt have been put into operation.

"One of the camps, designed for more than 500 builders, has already been built and put into operation on the Taman side. A second camp is being created next to it, where dormitories and hotels are provided for more than 3,000 builders," Stroygazmontazh reported.

The Stroygazmontazh company noted that during the construction of the bridge, more than 5,000 people will be able to live in residential complexes on the Taman and Kerch banks. Such an infrastructure will make it possible to employ more than ten thousand builders working on a rotational basis at the peak of construction.

Rotational camps for future builders of the bridge across the Kerch Strait include: two- and three-story hostels for workers and engineers, construction headquarters, checkpoints, canteens, bath-laundry modules, medical stations.

In order to test the first temporary bridge, a convoy of loaded trucks passed over it. The bridge has been successfully tested.

The official presentation of the bridge across the Kerch Strait has taken place!

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev was presented with a project to build a bridge across the Kerch Strait. The presentation was held as part of the Sochi-2015 International Investment Forum.

Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov demonstrated to the head of government on a three-dimensional model how the shipping arch will be arranged. According to him, its height will be 35 meters. At this point, the bridge will be divided into railway and automobile branches.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak assured Medvedev that "everything is going according to plan." The Prime Minister asked: "When is the deadline?"

"Scheduled to open labor movement as of December 2018," the head of the Ministry of Transport replied. The prime minister urged adherence to these deadlines, "so that later there would be no problems of a different order."

According to the presentation of the project, total length of the bridge will be 19 kilometers, the maximum depth of piling is 70 meters. The bridge supports will be installed outside the tectonic fault zone.

According to the project, the bridge bypasses the zones of volcanic activity. It is assumed that the automobile part of the crossing will have four lanes with an estimated speed of 120 km/h. It is also planned to build two railway tracks with an estimated speed of 120 km/h for passenger trains and 80 km/h for freight trains. The width of the navigable arch will be 227 meters and will not create obstacles for the movement of ships.

It is expected that due to the Kerch bridge, by 2019, the intensity of car traffic will be 12 thousand 800 cars, by 2025 - 21 thousand cars, by 2040 - 40 thousand cars. The intensity of railway traffic will be 47 pairs of trains in 2019 and will increase from 50 to 65 pairs from 2025 to 2040, respectively.

According to calculations, passenger and freight traffic will increase from 14 million in 2019 to 15 million in 2025, and by 2040 this figure will be more than 17 million.

Currently, preparations are underway for the construction of a bridge to the Crimea, Sokolov noted. Work is carried out on the shores and in the waters of the Kerch Strait at the same time. Thus, in the city of Kerch and in the village of Taman, shift camps are being created to accommodate bridge workers, and mobile plants for the production of concrete and asphalt have been put into operation.

The presentation of the project notes that bypass roads are being formed, along which materials will be delivered to the construction site bypassing settlements. Temporary bridges are being built in the waters of the strait to deliver builders, cargo and equipment to the work site. At the same time, the temporary infrastructure should ensure the prompt and uninterrupted supply of resources necessary for the construction of the bridge, and the presence of our own production base will allow us to start construction and installation work at eight sites simultaneously and complete the entire volume on time by December 2018.

In particular, three temporary "working" bridges are being built in the Kerch Strait, the first of which is already ready. The length of the transition is more than a kilometer and connects the Taman side and the island of Tuzla. For this, 58 supports were installed, the piles were sunk to a depth of 56 meters. Driving across the bridge by truck takes no more than 5 minutes, on foot - 15 minutes.

Earlier it became known that the bridge across the Kerch Strait will consist of parallel road and rail crossings. As stated in official communication Rosavtodor, the road bridge was designed according to the requirements automotive category 1B (4 lanes) with an estimated speed of 120 km/h. The route will be free of charge.
In the first year of operation, traffic intensity on the highway will average about 12.8 thousand vehicles per day, and after 5 years the traffic will increase by more than 60%, exceeding the figure of 21 thousand vehicles daily. The estimated capacity of up to 40,000 vehicles per day will reach the bridge in 18-19 years.
As for the railway, thanks to the new bridge, it will be able to transport 14 million passengers and 13 million tons of cargo annually. The railway bridge will meet the requirements of the second category and will include two tracks. Passenger trains will be able to reach speeds of up to 120 km/h, and freight trains up to 80 km/h.
At the same time, the designers note that they assessed the potential users of the bridge. Conventionally, they are divided into three categories. The inner circle includes residents of Kerch (almost 150 thousand) and Temryuk district (more than 120 thousand) - these are those who live in close proximity from the transition, that is, if necessary, he will be able to drive along it daily. The second circle is the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (more than 2.2 million inhabitants) and Krasnodar region with a population of over 5.4 million people. And, finally, residents of the rest of Russia and other countries who prefer the railway and automobile transport for trips to the Crimea on vacation or on business.

The head of Rosavtodor, Roman Starovoit, said that by the end of 2015, the agency plans to receive a positive conclusion from the Glavgosexpertiza on the bridge project across the Krechensky Strait. The start of the project is scheduled for January 2016. He added that they are ending preparatory work, construction camps for 5,000 jobs have been built.

“We expect to receive a positive conclusion from the Glavgosexpertiza on this project before the New Year so that in January 2016 we can start construction directly ... The so-called working bridge number one has been put into operation, which has already connected the Tuzla Spit and Tuzla Island, which legally belongs Republic of Crimea We import to the island Construction Materials, structures, equipment in order to proceed directly to the construction of this significant object at the beginning of 2016."

Putin visited the construction site of the Kerch Bridge section on March 18, 2016

Russian President Vladimir Putin inspected the construction site of the Kerch bridge section and talked to the builders.

Alexander Ostrovsky, general director of the Most SGM, told the head of state about the progress of construction work. The site is divided into eight sections, on each of which work has begun. At the same time, construction does not interfere with navigation.

Ostrovsky also told the president about the materials used and about all stages of work. According to him, the necessary mechanisms and materials are available at all construction sites.

Putin also spoke with the builders involved in the construction of the bridge, and noted the importance of their work.

According to the builders, in preparation for the work, many historical monuments. All of them are carefully preserved. In addition, significant demining work has been carried out, during which many explosive objects have been found.

The construction of the Kerch Bridge is ahead of schedule. Starting in February last year, the workers immediately picked up a good pace. By the fall of 2017, the prospects for early completion of construction were not so illusory. Although the project participants themselves still do not answer a direct question whether it is possible to complete the construction of the century before December 2018. Kryminform compared forecasts with facts. And there was hope.

Indirect signs

The main work on the construction of the Kerch bridge began with the driving of piles for the foundation of the supports in early March 2016. The first support was ready in April. By the end of the year, the builders had already erected more than 200 supports, almost doubling the original annual plan. In the spring of 2017, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov announced that the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait was ahead of schedule.

“Last year (2016) the project confidently passed the equator point, now construction is even going ahead of schedule. We confidently declare that next year the working traffic on the automobile part of the bridge will be opened,” Sokolov said.

At the same time, both the minister and the project participants do not specify whether traffic on the road part of the bridge will be launched earlier than planned in December 2018.

Indirectly, the fact that traffic on the bridge can be opened much earlier than the end of 2018 is evidenced by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. The text of the document was published on October 6 and spent several hours in open access on the official Internet portal of legal information, after which it was deleted. However, its copy remained in the editorial office of Kryminform.

The order of the Government of the Russian Federation concerns the timing of the opening of the labor movement and the start of the temporary exploitation of the so-called. This new four-lane highway with a length of 8.6 km should connect the Crimean bridge and the Tavrida highway no later than May 30, 2018.

In the future, auto-approaches are planned to be associated with road network Kerch and new railway station. However, this project is currently at the design stage. Traffic on the interchange is unlikely to be launched before 2019, when both the station itself and the railway approach to the Kerch bridge will be built.

Thus, by May 30, 2018, auto-approaches will remain isolated from the existing urban road network of Kerch. This means that the launch of through traffic on the road is possible only when traffic is opened on the bridge. The synchronism of work on the auto-approaches and the Kerch bridge itself was repeatedly announced by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

Construction calendar

Statistics also testify to a significant advance in the construction plan. Calendar chart of work on the object "Construction of a transport passage through the Kerch Strait" is published on the public procurement website. According to the document, the construction of supports in a number of sections was planned to be fully completed only in September and even October of the next year, and the installation of spans at once in three sections out of seven was planned only by November 2018. Meanwhile, according to official information, by mid-October, only 13 pillars remained to be erected for the road part of the bridge: from the island of Tuzla and the Kerch coast to the fairway.

In other areas, this type of work is fully completed. The spans covered about 15.5 km of the road bridge out of 16.8 km provided for by the project. . Part of the bridge spans is yet to be concreted before asphalt is laid. These works have been completed by 80%: out of 66,000 cubic meters of concrete, the builders have only 13,000 cubic meters left to pour.

And the Kerch bridge on the fairway supports. This operation has become not only one of the largest, but also the most important for completing the work on time. The installation of arched spans was delayed due to unfavorable weather. But in the end, the builders managed to hoist them on the fairway supports before the protracted autumn-winter storms and thereby minimize the impact of weather on the pace of bridge construction.

Builders do not experience problems with financing either. The Russian government has already allocated almost 167 billion rubles (about 75% of the contract amount) for the construction of the Crimean bridge. At the same time, the construction customer - PKU Uprdor Taman - accepted the work performed in the amount of more than 102 billion rubles, which is almost half of all funds provided for the project.

December 2018 continues to be the official opening date for motor traffic on the Crimean Bridge. However, over the two years of work, the builders have repeatedly surprised by the pace of the construction of the bridge. It is possible that and next year will bring another surprise from them.
