In a neglected form, fear leads to alienation and the emergence of a new phobia - fear of loneliness, stage fright, losing a loved one, etc.

    There are borderline phobias, they affect several groups at once. Fear of disease is a social and biological group. The social factor is detachment from society, a decrease in income, dismissal from work, poverty, a violation of the usual way of life. The biological factor is pain, damage and suffering. The fear of the death of loved ones is on the border of the existential and biological groups.

    It should be noted that all types of phobias include elements of three groups, but only one of them is dominant.

    There are fears that have been passed on to humans by evolution. For example, fear of the dark, snakes or spiders. These are instinctive reactions aimed at preserving life. In modern realities, many of them have lost their relevance and only interfere with a full existence. Snakes are a serious threat and should be feared, but not all. Spiders can be deadly, but the fear of the common indoor spider brings a lot of inconvenience. In this case, it is necessary to concentrate on the restructuring of reflexes.

    Formation of obsessive fears

    The formation of an obsessive phobia is facilitated by an initially weakened psyche in the process of growing up. You can visually trace the situation on the example of a young mother of many children. A measured life is disturbed by constant lack of sleep, fatigue, a large number of irritating factors. Fatigue and anxiety gradually increase and provoke physical ailments: dizziness, weakness, etc.

    The next stage is fixation on a certain thought. It can be anything: a memory of a terrible news event “someone killed their child” or thoughts about their health and sudden death “What if I die now? ". There are a lot of options, but they all create an unsettling fixation.

    The further development of the phobia is formed around a logical chain:

All events, all information coming from the outside world is recorded with the help of the sense organs. The recording of current events takes place every second of life on a kind of 'tape of life'. This tape of life events is in our subconscious:

Negative experiences deposited (recorded) in the subconscious distort the normal behavior of a person. In addition, there is a damaging effect on human health. Our health is affected not by the event itself, but by the positive or negative emotions that accompany it. Positive emotions improve health, negative emotions worsen it.

By analogy with the slags of the physical body (intestines, liver), one can call the accumulated negative emotions in the subconscious mind a kind of emotional slags. Just as it is necessary to cleanse the body of accumulated toxins, so it is very important to "cleanse" the subconscious from accumulated negative emotions.

The mental sphere of a person (consciousness and subconsciousness) is the center in relation to the body.

Negative emotions accumulated in the subconscious (center) cause muscle spasms, spasms of smooth muscles of internal organs in various parts of the body (on the periphery). The expression is true: "All diseases are from the nerves."

Only in this case can we say that a complete cleansing of the body has been carried out. "Cleansing the subconscious", of course, the term is conditional. Rather, it is the removal of negative emotions from the subconscious.

There are several methods for removing negative emotions from the subconscious:

The emotional component (component) of any event can be both positive and negative. With the help of the catharsis method, negative emotions that accompanied some event are removed from the subconscious. The record of the event itself remains, i.e. the person will remember this event.

If, for example, a person had a knee joint injury, then after "erasing" the memory of physical pain during the injury, only a record of the event itself remains. The record of physical pain held in deep memory is erased. The person stops limping and movements in the knee joint are fully restored. If you do not erase the memory of physical pain during an injury, then dysfunction of the joint, over time, gradually increases.

Holotropic Breathwork. S. Gref was widely engaged in research on holotropic breathing. Holotropic breathing is a type of yoga breathing.

Holotropic therapy uses the possibility of removing negative emotions from the subconscious by changing the state of consciousness. A change in the state of consciousness allows you to "slightly open" the door between the conscious and the subconscious, which further leads to the release of negative emotions from the subconscious.

A change in the state of consciousness can be achieved by increasing the frequency of breathing (more intense breathing) or, conversely, by holding the breath for a long time. It is also possible to combine both intensive breathing and prolonged breath holding.

In practice, it is more convenient to use a simple increase in the frequency of breathing.

In this case, a person breathes faster and deeper than usual. During breathing, a person completely focuses on his sensations in the body.

Increasing the frequency and depth of breathing gradually weakens the "barrier" between the consciousness and the subconscious, which leads to the release of negative emotions from the subconscious.

In most cases, intensive breathing leads to muscle tension in various parts of the body. Continued intensive breathing leads to increased muscle tension. Muscle tension gradually reaches its peak, followed by a deep relaxation of the muscles of the body.

Negative emotion in the subconscious, as we have already said, supports the spasm of a certain muscle group. Intense breathing further increases this tension, which leads to the release of the energy of this emotion as the tension builds up.

Therapeutic possibilities of intense muscle load and increased breathing were known in ancient Greece. Plato wrote about the significant healing possibilities of a wild dance to the sounds of flutes and drums, reaching a frenzy and culminating in a state of deep relaxation (relaxation) and peace.

In our time, discos are of great medical importance for a teenager. A child is a person characterized by increased impressionability and sensitivity.

A variety of negative emotions easily penetrate deep into the child's psyche, into his subconscious, where they "get stuck" (remain). These negative emotions are the cause of the appearance of various neuroses, and later - diseases of the internal organs.

A teenager goes to a disco, intuitively trying to get rid of the “charge” of negative emotions accumulated over the week. And in the "wild dance" to the sounds of roaring music, he reaches a "frenzy" and is freed from the burden of negative emotions. By this, the child periodically heals himself.

Physical manifestations during the release of negative emotions during holotropic breathing are of two types:

2. The release of negative emotions is accompanied by body movements: body trembling, twitching, sharp movements of the arms and legs or the whole body. In this case, there may be coughing, screaming, sobbing, quiet crying or laughter, and other manifestations.

Emotions that arise during holotropic breathing can be very diverse. It can be anxiety, sadness, depression, aggression, anger, feelings of worthlessness and inferiority, guilt, disgust. What type of negative emotions come out at this moment, such feelings and manifestations do they cause.

Sometimes there is sexual arousal, which can reach orgasm during the session. You don't have to hold back those feelings. Sexual arousal is the result of releasing repressed sexual desires. This often happens in women who have not received sexual satisfaction for a long time. It is not uncommon in life for women to fake an orgasm to please their partner. The lack of discharge causes significant harm to the female body. We will talk about this later.

Some people remain completely calm and motionless during the session. They often have deep inner experiences. Outwardly, it seems that nothing is happening to them. Other people during the session look agitated and show physical activity. Their body twists, arches, shakes. They spin around, clasping their hands.

Often, pain or muscle tension appears and intensifies in those places where it once hurt, was injured or hurts at the present time. A typical result and sign of a successful Holotropic Breathwork session is emotional relief and physical relaxation.

Negative emotions once forced out into the subconscious begin to "activate" and be forced out. This is manifested by increasing muscle tension. With continued intensive breathing, various negative emotions are “activated”, and in response to this, tensions arise in various areas of the body.

Each new breathing session leads to tension in other areas of the body, to tension in other muscles. Feelings may change with muscle tension. For example, in the first session of holotropic breathing, there was a feeling of pressure on the stomach, the next time there may be a feeling of strong fullness.

Holotropic Breathwork Technique:

It is most convenient to conduct a session while lying on your back. Spread your legs, put your hands freely, palms up. Close your eyes and focus on the internal sensations in the body, fully accepting them and, as it were, observing from the side. You need to focus on your breathing, feel its natural rhythm, at first without trying to change it.

Further, the respiratory rate increases, the breath is taken deeper than usual. The breathing rate becomes about twice as fast as normal breathing at rest. This rapid breathing usually occurs after a fast walk or run. This breath is similar to the breath of an agitated person.

If at first the respiratory rate is set artificially, then gradually the body itself begins to maintain the frequency and depth of breathing set by the person. You can breathe through your nose or mouth, but nose is better. The frequency and depth of breathing is different for different people in different sessions. While breathing, you just need to watch the arising experiences, note them and allow them to occur.

The room should be such that a breathing person, lying down, has enough space around him. It is desirable that the room be well insulated (to allow full vocal expression). It is desirable to cover the floor with soft material, mattresses. It is advisable to put pillows and other soft material nearby.

Clothing should be light, not hamper movement and breathing. It is necessary to take off heavy earrings, take out dentures, take off glasses, necklaces, watches, rings.

"Purification" of the subconscious with the help of Dianetic therapy. The author of this method is R. Hubbard. The purpose of the method is to achieve the state of clear by a person (translated from English - pure). This method uses a different terminology, but the essence is the same, in removing negative emotions from the subconscious.

According to Dianetic Therapy, the reactive mind (we call it the subconscious mind) has many records of physical and mental trauma. With the help of a certain technique, the consequences of physical traumas and mental traumas are "erased".

The technique is difficult to master. To use it, special training is required. The main disadvantage is that it takes 500-800 hours of dianetic study to remove the "records" of traumas (as stated in the dianetics manual). Let us dwell on the possibilities that a person has for self-purification of the subconscious from negative emotions.

The work of our subconscious is similar to the work of a powerful "biological computer". It turns out that a person in a state of trance only needs to enter "control commands". The subconscious follows all the instructions exactly. This property of the subconscious is used to remove negative emotions from it.

Like a "shuttle", there is a movement of a kind of "erasing head" in memory (by analogy with erasing a record on a magnetic tape) back and forth. There is a multiple movement from the present moment to the moment of birth and back, i.e. from birth to the present.

During the withdrawal of negative emotions from the subconscious, there are often periods of unstable depressed mood. But don't let that discourage you. It is the negative emotions coming out of the subconscious that cause such a mood. This is a good sign: it means the "cleansing" is going well.

At this time, unexpected sadness, a dreary mood may appear, suddenly you want to cry (cry!). There may be an unbearable feeling of loneliness, worthlessness, fear, hopelessness. The appearance of indifference is dangerous, when you want to throw everything away, not seeing any sense in the further "cleansing" of the subconscious. The release of negative emotions occurs not only during the holotropic breathing session itself, but also after, both day and night. Nightmares may appear for a while.

Let's imagine a bottle of champagne, closed with a cork, in which the contents are under pressure. When the cork is opened, the contents under high pressure begin to flow out. Such a "cork" is located between the consciousness and the subconscious. Negative emotions in the subconscious are also "under pressure". Holotropic breathing can only be used at the initial stage of removing negative emotions, as a simple and quick way to change the state of consciousness. At the same time, the person is completely focused on maintaining the same breathing rate. The breathing person makes sure that the duration of the inhalation is equal to the duration of the exhalation. The patient's attention (his consciousness) is completely concentrated on breathing. This concentration of attention on the breath leads to a gradual narrowing of consciousness.

Consciousness, as it were, is "moved away" to the side so that it does not interfere with interaction with the subconscious. Usually, 5-7 minutes of strictly controlled rapid breathing is enough for the consciousness to change (decrease) sufficiently. Then the subconscious becomes available for interaction with it. Now you can begin to influence the subconscious (introduce settings).

For a more effective impact on the subconscious, it is desirable to further narrow (reduce) consciousness. To do this, you can use the technique of overloading consciousness.

It is based on the fact that a person is able to consciously keep in his field of attention about 7 “portions” of information at the same time. If this number becomes larger, then the person experiences overload and makes mistakes. For example, a sequence of seven numbers is usually held in memory. A sequence of nine numbers is much more difficult to remember, and a person begins to make mistakes.

Each number is a 'portion' of information. You can consciously keep seven branches, seven notebooks, seven books or seven digits of a telephone number in the field of attention. If only 7 portions of information can be consciously retained, then everything else is not subjected to conscious processing. Everything that goes beyond the 7 portions of information becomes an overload and is processed unconsciously (subconscious).

Let me explain with an example: You are enthusiastically watching a movie on TV. All your attention (consciousness) is captured by the events of the film. The noise of a passing car is heard outside, but you do not hear it. Hears your subconscious, which perceives and analyzes everything that happens around. After all, the subconscious is responsible for the safety of the existence of the body, it is always on the alert. Therefore, everything that happens around every second is perceived by our body - both consciousness and subconsciousness. In those moments when the consciousness does not have time to analyze the incoming information, the subconscious intervenes and completely takes control of the situation.

Whenever conscious processing is overloaded, information can be passed directly to the subconscious and the person will respond to that information. In our case, we will offer the mind to perform an arithmetic task: starting from one, each time add the number 3 and mentally color the resulting numbers in different colors. Take red, blue and yellow. The resulting numbers should be mentally 'see'.

For example, you count out loud: “One red, four blue, seven yellow, ten red, thirteen blue, sixteen yellow, nineteen red”, etc. As you practice in the account, the task can be complicated. For example, subtract the numbers 3 and 4 from a thousand in turn, mentally coloring the numbers in different colors. The proposed method of introducing settings is quite effective when used independently.

Let's move on to the technique of removing negative emotions from the subconscious mind using guided holotropic breathing.

Speak clearly, pronouncing the words, making a second pause between sentences. Clearing the subconscious of negative emotions can also be used in the treatment of various diseases. The causes of most diseases of the body (up to 70%) are in the psyche (in the subconscious). Often the main force of the therapeutic effect is directed to the removal of a symptom (a separate painful manifestation), without particularly delving into the underlying causes of this symptom. Patient G., 57 years old, complained of recurrent aching pain in the left shoulder during the year. The movements in the shoulder joint are limited, especially the introduction of the hand behind the back. She underwent various treatments: medicinal, physiotherapy (currents, massage), manual therapy, homeopathy and other methods. The effect was insignificant and for a short time. It could be assumed that the cause of these persistent pains, which are not amenable to treatment, lies not in the body, but, perhaps, in the psyche.

When the cause of the disease is in the body (supposedly due to the slagging of the intestines), then the treatment usually has an effect for a longer time. On the x-ray of the shoulder joint, slight changes (salt deposition) were visible. The appearance of salts in the joint is not the cause of the disease of the shoulder joint. They appeared as a result of limited mobility in the joint due to pain, circulatory disorders in it.
