It is a sacred duty to love the country that has fed and nurtured us,

Like a mother.

M.A. Sholokhov

There are many different professions in the world: a doctor, a builder, a teacher, a driver. But there is one special one - to defend the Motherland.

Protecting the Motherland is a sacred duty. Centuries pass, but in the memory of people there remain those who once heroically defended the freedom of their country. Regardless of the position, the titles of these people are proud and respected, the descendants remember their deeds and exploits. They treat Ivan Susanin and Mikhail Kutuzov with equal respect.

The Great Patriotic War claimed many lives of Soviet people. War is a terrible test for a person and a people, war is fate, life, death, war is a special form of life, like no other, requiring a special test for stamina and courage, faith and loyalty to the highest moral values. Some witnesses of those events are still alive. There are very few veterans left, those who, risking their lives, defended the independence of the Motherland. In those cruel four years, the profession of a soldier, an officer became their important business, their destiny. Going into battle, the soldiers knew: behind people, close or unfamiliar, who had to be protected. Behind the back is the Motherland, and it was impossible to retreat.

“We will fight to the death for our Motherland,” the soldiers said. They stood to the end, went to the torment and died heroes. In fierce battles, the warrior Alexander Matrosov closed the embrasure of the enemy bunker with his body, gave his life to ensure the fulfillment of the combat mission. The fearless pilot Nikolai Gastello and many other soldiers - patriots acted just as selflessly, making an air ram. Their heroic deeds have become an example to follow. During the Great Patriotic War, heroism in the army and navy became massive. The combat exploits of many tens of thousands of Soviet soldiers in the battles near Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad, on the Kursk Bulge, during the crossing of the Dnieper, Vistula and Oder, during the storming of Berlin and in other battles are evidence of the mass heroism of the defenders of the Fatherland in the name of victory over the fascist invaders.

Unfortunately, there were later other wars in the history of our state. And there, sometimes very young soldiers - conscripts - stood guard over the security. And, like their grandfathers once, they risked their lives to prevent others from dying.

But even in peacetime, we must be on our guard and therefore the defenders of the Fatherland are trained in the army. This gives us hope that in the event of hostilities, wars will come to our aid - professionals

The peculiarity of this profession is that one has to face difficulties, risk one's health and life, perform heavy physical exertion every day, and most importantly, be a patriot of one's Motherland.

There are many good and different professions, but the profession of an officer is not even a profession, it is a vocation. If a person decides to devote his life to the country, he understands that his life will belong to the country, that he will be limited in his needs and opportunities not for a year as an urgent soldier, but for life.

Always in Russia, officers were the "white bone", the pride of the state, it was prestigious to be an officer and not everyone could do it. After all, officers are practically the first persons of the state. Officers have always been held in high esteem since the time of Peter the Great and up to our times, now they are given apartments, they make discounts on housing and communal services, and they are paid a constant salary. Officers are the strength and power of our army, it rests only on them.

The first, main and most important male profession is the profession of an officer. I clearly realize that for someone this idea is controversial, but for someone it is unacceptable. Well, I do not impose my point of view, but I have the right to express judgments in its defense. The profession of an officer is a combat profession. We are the defenders! We are first line fighters. Behind us is a country. If necessary, we will take the first blow. The war starts only once and it is impossible to replay its beginning. We have no right to sleep peacefully, for wars begin at night. We have no right to rest in peace, because, as history has shown, wars happen either on holidays or from Saturday to Sunday. On the shoulders of an officer lies a responsibility that cannot be compared with the responsibility of any other profession. Yes, there is such a profession - to defend the Motherland! - as the hero Yumatov said from the movie "Officers".

Not a few of these officers were brought up by our Kacheev land. On the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, 4 officers were killed - natives of the village of Nizhnee Kacheevo. These are Vinokurov Ya.P., Proshin D.A., Nikiforov D.M., Svetovidov P.N. and 3 officers, natives of the village of Upper Kacheevo: Sarbaev A.V., Sapunov P.V., Shipigin Ya.E. After the war, 16 officers died. After the Great Patriotic War, 9 officers became officers and they continue to serve the Fatherland: Zhuravlev P.G., Tuimishin L.N., Rybakov K.V., Moskvin N.D., Nikolaev E.M., Tuterov V.A., Prokhorov V.K., Mindryukov S.A., Zhuravlev D.A.

We rejoice and are proud that our small villages have given the country so many career officers. I want to tell about the fate of one military family dynasty ...

Samarkin Semyon Pavlovich, born in 1914, a native of the village of Nizhnee Kacheevo. During the Great Patriotic War he was a military driver, went through the whole war. Dismissed to the reserve with the rank of corporal.

No less interesting is the fate of his son, Major Viktor Semenovich Samarkin, a native of the village of Nizhnee Kacheevo. He was born in 1941. After graduating from school, he worked as an instructor in the district committee of the Komsomol, and then as a literary employee of the regional newspaper Kolkhoznaya Turbina. In 1960 he entered the Volga Command and Technical Military School. While studying at a military school, Viktor Semenovich took an active part in the work of the Komsomol organization and, as one of the best cadets, in 1962 he was delegated to the XIV Congress of the Komsomol in Moscow, where he met the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, who also took part in the congress.

After graduating from VKTVU in 1963, Samarkin V.S. was awarded the rank of lieutenant and issued an order to appear for further service in one of the missile units stationed in the city of Kostroma. In 1967, according to the party recruitment, he was transferred to serve in the Border Troops of the KGB of the USSR and sent to serve in the Far Eastern Border District. Viktor Semenovich began his service in the Border Troops as the head of the Alekhinskaya frontier outpost on the Soviet-Japanese border, the outpost was stationed on the island of Kunashir in the Pacific Ocean.

Then Samarkin V.S. served as a senior officer of the border commandant's office in the village. Golovino, Yuzhno-Kurilsky district, Sakhalin region. On duty, he had to constantly be on the sections of the state border, where a difficult operational situation developed, in order to provide practical and methodological assistance to the combat units of the Kunashir border detachment. Subsequently, he was appointed to the post of head of the sergeant's school.

In 1970, Viktor Semenovich entered the All-Union Law Institute in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, which he successfully graduated in 1975 with the qualification of a lawyer.

In 1977, having the military rank of Major, Viktor Semenovich was transferred to serve in a higher position in the Akhaltsikhe Red Banner Border Detachment stationed in Georgia.

The tense conditions of service, a sharp change in climatic zones and high mountains soon affected his health, in 1979 he was transferred to the reserve and moved to a permanent place of residence in the city of Belgorod. On November 10, 1995, at the age of 54, Viktor Semenovich died and was buried in the city cemetery.

During the period of military service, Viktor Semenovich was repeatedly encouraged by the command, had awards:

  1. "For distinction in the protection of the State Border of the USSR";
  2. "For irreproachable service II degree";
  3. "For irreproachable service III degree";
  4. Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945";
  5. "50 years - the Armed Forces of the USSR";
  6. "For military prowess in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin";
  7. 70th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of the USSR”;
  8. Anniversary badge "50 years of the Border Troops of the USSR";
  9. Badge "Excellent worker of the Border Troops II degree";

A son and a daughter followed in the footsteps of their father.

Samarkin Alexander Viktorovich, born in 1965. From November 1983 to August 1985 he served in one of the units of the Air Force of the Carpathian Military District, and then entered the Ryazan Higher Military Automobile Engineering School. He served as a training platoon commander and deputy company commander, and in April 1999 he was transferred to the reserve with the military rank of captain for redundancy. Since November 1999, he has been serving in the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Belgorod Region, participated in counter-terrorist operations in the Chechen Republic, has a state award - the medal "For Distinction in the Protection of Public Order". Currently Lieutenant Colonel of Police. Samarkin Alexander Viktorovich serves as deputy head of the department of the Organized Crime Control Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Belgorod Region.

No less interesting is the fate of the daughter of Viktor Semenovich - Nadezhda. Samarkina Nadezhda Viktorovna, born in 1973. After graduating from secondary school, she entered the Pedagogical College, after which she worked as a primary school teacher. Then she entered the Belgorod State University, which she successfully graduated in 2000.

With the formation, during the collapse of the Soviet Union, two sovereign states, Russia and Ukraine, the state border ran along the administrative borders of the Belgorod region. Fate decreed that Nadezhda Viktorovna continued the border dynasty of the Samarkin family. Currently, she serves in the Border Directorate of the FSB of Russia for the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, with the rank of ensign as a checkpoint controller.

A family usually consists of several people and everyone has a different fate. I told about one family and this family has one destiny for all - to be in the military. It seems to me that they are exactly the people who can adequately educate the future generation, teach us everything necessary in this life and just be there in difficult times. I believe that these people have a wonderful profession, as Peter I said, “sovereign people are those who protect their homeland, the peace of people and the happiness of their families.”

In the modern world, there are many different professions: doctor, teacher, lifeguard, fireman, engineer and many others. All of them are important, you can not name any of them more important. Each professional performs in his own field and performs a set of his own skills, which, perhaps from the outside, seem simple, but a person who has never encountered them is unlikely to be able to quickly figure it out.

However, there is one special, which can hardly be called a profession. It is rather a sacred duty to defend the Motherland. Dozens of years pass, and people continue to remember the names of those who heroically defended the independence of their country. Citizens will always honor the memory of those who died in military service, their deeds are eternal.

The most terrible war in the history of our country, the Great Patriotic War, claimed millions of lives. She laid on the shoulders of the people inhuman trials of hunger, death, parting with loved ones, loss of shelter and strength. The war tested the strength of the faith, loyalty and patriotism of the Russian people. Russian soldiers did not break, they loved their native land, their people, and were ready to give up their lives in the name of a future victory. Today, some witnesses of that hell on earth are still alive. In those four terrible years, their military profession became a matter of life. They fought not for themselves and not even for the sake of their loved ones, they fought for the sake of all those living in the vastness of our vast Motherland. The soldiers did not divide those whom they were ready to defend to the last breath into friends and foes. Everyone was equal. After all, protecting a wounded woman with children from bullets and raids of the enemy, the soldier understood that somewhere far away another soldier could save his family in the same way.

After there were other wars in the history of Russia, there were clashes, attempts to cross the state border, there were terrorist attacks. And Russian soldiers were sent everywhere to protect from the enemy. They, like their grandfathers, were ready to give up their lives for the sake of peace in the country.

Many children today are striving to enter cadet schools, to start studying at military schools and universities. Young soldiers after military service remain to serve in the army under the contract. The profession - to defend the Motherland has become prestigious and popular. And this gives us hope that our children have nothing to fear: there will always be those who will protect the country from the enemy and will be able to maintain a peaceful sky above their heads.

The military profession is difficult: in addition to good physical fitness, perseverance and patience, stamina and courage, such people must have something that is not taught in any educational institution - patriotism. Love for the motherland is born in the heart of a person in early childhood and lives in him all his life. Patriotism cannot be taught. He either exists or he doesn't. But we can all become a vivid example of a person who loves his country and infects with his energy.

I believe that our modern army will be a school of right actions for the younger generation, a symbol of resilience and courage. And we will raise thousands more people with big hearts and open souls.

Among all the professions that exist in the world, perhaps, defending the Motherland is the most special. This is not just an occupation, it is a sacred duty. Ranks, positions and the number of stars on shoulder straps are important here, deeds that remain in memory are important, deeds that are remembered through the ages.

Probably every boy in childhood dreams of becoming a hero. And, having already matured, few choose the profession of an officer, since some are not ready to take on a huge responsibility for the entire people and country. Yes, officers have always been held in high esteem. But at what cost do they reach professional heights! An officer is not just a profession, it is much more, it is a vocation. A soldier gives his life to the country, unconditionally serves it all his life, every day.

Courage, courage and most importantly - loyalty. These are the hallmarks of a real soldier. Day and night they stand guard over the Motherland, protect the country's borders from enemy attacks. After all, bitter experience has shown that war does not start in broad daylight and with a warning. It is always sudden, at night, when you do not expect at all. A soldier has no right to rest and tranquility. He must always be on the alert.

War is grief for the people and the country. There has not been a single battle in which people did not die. And for the most part, innocent, but brave soldiers die. Everyone is equal in war. Both young soldiers and grandfathers. All of them risk their own lives, defending their homeland, protecting the peace of the people and the happy future of their descendants.

War is a test of courage, bravery and loyalty to one's principles. How many lives does she take? How many heroes are awarded posthumously. The feats accomplished in the war are still remembered. This is pride, this is the heritage of the people, the country. And all we can do for these heroes is remember them. Remember the brave soldiers who shielded their comrades from bullets with their own breasts. Remember the pilots who crashed along with the plane, but did not allow the enemy to go further. They fought for world peace, and we must keep it and do everything possible so that the war does not start again.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the profession of defending the Motherland is not for everyone. Before devoting one's life to the country and the people, one must answer the question: “Will I be able to withstand all this? Will I be able to give my life for my Fatherland? A soldier must be ready for anything and not be afraid of anything. Loyalty to your cause and heroism - that's what a real soldier should have in the first place.

Variant 2

There are many professions in the world, each person has to choose his own, to look for his vocation. “All professions are needed, all professions are important,” a well-known nursery rhyme tells us. I would like to know about such a profession - to defend the Motherland, the profession of a soldier.

This is probably the most dangerous of all possible professions, because you do not know if you will be alive tomorrow. The service of a soldier is selfless, courageous and unpredictable.

Of course, in peacetime, a soldier guards the country's borders from a possible attack, but the worst thing is in wartime, when you don't know which day may be your last.

The main qualities of a real soldier are courage, courage, courage, pride, perseverance. He is ready to give his life for his Motherland, his people. In the war, these people face death every day, of course, it is very difficult morally, but such qualities as stamina, firmness of spirit, steadfastness and composure are brought up in a person.

Everyone comes to their calling in a different way. Someone dreams of devoting their lives to military service from childhood, while others are forced by circumstances: a war in their hometown, and maybe anywhere in their country. People without special training take up arms and go to defend themselves and their loved ones.

One of the main qualities of a soldier is loyalty. He must be faithful to his state, his people, because once he already took an oath, breaking which would be very vile and low. In war, the most important thing is not to lose your soul, to fight for the idea of freeing your land from invaders, and not to become a thoughtless killing machine.

I believe that a soldier, a defender of his Fatherland, is a very important profession on which the peace and lives of millions of people depend. At all times, soldiers were treated with respect and honor, because they are the guardians of the peaceful sky above the heads of the people.

Composition discussion on the topic There is such a profession to defend the Motherland

There is such a profession to defend the homeland. The profession of a soldier has always been full of romance and adventure, but in addition to this, it requires the soldier to be courageous, courageous, to be strong in body and soul, to be able to survive in very difficult conditions. But after all, the profession of a soldier lies in the most important thing - in love for one's native land, the possession of an unlimited desire to dedicate oneself to the Fatherland. The profession of a soldier is very difficult, you need to be a very responsible and disciplined person.

Firstly, during the service you can’t spare yourself, on the front line you need to understand that your relatives and family are already behind you and, being here, you must do everything to save them from a possible disaster. It was with this thought that our grandfathers and great-grandfathers fought for our homeland during the Great Patriotic War. After all, if they constantly retreated, then there would be no us. After all, they fought for us, did everything possible for the liberation and strengthening of their homeland. Many have accomplished feats that not everyone dares to do. Some pilots, after the plane ran out of ammunition, went to ram or enemy aircraft or enemy equipment, some closed the embrasure of the bunker with their bodies so that their comrades could go further.

Secondly, a soldier of the Russian army needs to remember that he is a descendant of victorious soldiers. After all, the Russian army has always been one of the most powerful. It must be remembered that your ancestors defeated the Swedes in 1240 in the Battle of the Neva, put the Tatar-Mongol to flight in 1380 in the Battle of Kulikovo, drove the French all the way to Paris during the Patriotic War and the Foreign Campaign, liberated Prague and Warsaw and took Berlin in 1945 year. It must be remembered that a Russian soldier must fight in his uniform to the last drop of blood, because a Russian soldier is a victorious soldier.

In conclusion, I want to say that defending the Motherland is one of the most difficult professions on the planet, but at the same time one of the most honorable. Military people have always been respected. But before choosing this profession, you need to think and answer yourself the question “Will I be able to adequately withstand this test?”. And if the answer is yes and you are really ready both mentally and physically for this, then you can try yourself in this profession. But a soldier must always be a hero and you must be ready to help, even if you are not in the service, this is the essence of the profession. For a soldier, heroism is above all!
