A social studies manual for ninth graders " OGE (GIA-9) 2015. . Grade 9 Workshop. Real tests» will allow students to develop practical skills for performing all types of social studies exam tasks.

The structure of the examination paper

Consists of 3 parts: 1 contains tasks with a choice of answers; 2 - tasks with a short answer; Z - tasks with a detailed answer.

Part 1 deals with 7 topics of the course: society, man, culture, social relations, politics, law. Tasks are grouped into six blocks-modules.

Tasks 2 and 3 parts are focused on identifying the level of mastery of a certain group of skills.

The book is aimed at all categories of students who have chosen an exam in social studies to pass in the OGE format.

The USE in social studies often becomes selective for high school graduates, since its results are needed to continue education in the specialties of the pedagogical, humanitarian direction. The subject itself is complex in nature, that is, it combines the knowledge of different disciplines: economic, philosophical, legal, social. For this reason, passing the exam is by no means as easy a task as it may seem at first.

KIMS consist of two parts and 29 exercises, 20 of which need to be given short answers, consisting of a word or phrase, 9 - detailed. It is necessary to demonstrate a confident knowledge of terms, theories of social development, aspects of the political life of countries, good factual erudition, the ability to understand the author's position, to express a personal point of view with its justification. An essay is the most difficult stage in the exam, it offers a choice of one of the five proposed topics in the format of statements by political, scientific, cultural figures, each of which can be attributed to the key sections of the subject.

The choice undoubtedly plays a significant role on the way to getting the coveted high score. Consider popular guides that have already proven themselves in this regard.

List of textbooks

First of all, do not neglect school textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Rosobrnadzor. Such is

  • Bogolyubov L.N. "Social science. 10-11 class "

The author is one of the compilers of the examination tests. The set, consisting of two books, is aimed at developing students' understanding of society as a special integral system, presented in development, and the main points of the economic, social, political and other areas of life. At the end of each section are "documents" - excerpts, various tasks that require expressing a point of view - questions for repetition and final comprehension of what has been read, a dictionary of key concepts and practical conclusions. You should also pay attention to the paragraph giving recommendations for successful preparation for the final exam.

See also important and useful documents: "Constitution of the Russian Federation" and "Civil Code of the Russian Federation".

  • Lipsits I.V. "Economics: Basic Course"

Introductory information about the economy is presented, and the subtleties of the economic process in its correlation with state policy are also disclosed.

  • Bochkov B.A., Fedorov N.A. "100 questions and answers", Klimenko A.V., Rumynina V.V. "Social Studies for Applicants to Universities"

In a concise and systematized form, the fundamental problems of the course of social science are outlined: a person, knowledge, various spheres of the life of a society of a modern type.

  • Baranov L.A., Vorontsov A.V., Shevchenko S.V. "Full Express Tutor"

The theoretical part was created in the format of excellent illustrative indicative material, diagrams, tables, designed to structure information, ensure its easy memorization and search if necessary. It is possible to solve many tests compiled according to regulatory requirements.

  • Pazin R.V. "Social science in tables and diagrams"
  • Kishenkova O.V. "Algorithm for writing an essay"

Valuable advice, an overview of topics on typical blocks, samples of work with analysis are given.

  • Chernysheva O.A. "Preparing for the exam"

The exercise book is dedicated to writing, which traditionally causes the greatest difficulty for students. The author convinces that it is worth taking it as an opportunity to show your own opinion and creativity, originality of thinking and erudition. The goal is training in accordance with the criteria and methodological instructions given in abundance on the pages of the manual. You will find here a variety of reminders, algorithms, description of the structure, typical errors and examples of past work. Practice tests are divided into blocks of topics with their problematic aspects and statements of thinkers, designed with ready-made clichés and necessary reference materials.

And finally, for processing:

  • Liskova T.E., Kotova O.A. "Typical exam options"

The collection is compiled taking into account the requirements of FIPI. Recommended for use in order to self-check and objectively assess the level of their knowledge.

Social studies consistently leads among the subjects that Russian schoolchildren choose to take the exam. However, the training course on it is by no means easy. After all, it includes a complex of scientific knowledge in sociology, political science, social psychology and philosophy. Social studies teacher Roman Mosin talks about the features of the exam and gives recommendations for preparation.

For those who are preparing for the main school exam

KIM (control and measuring materials) in social studies includes questions from the school course, which takes place from the 5th to the 11th grade. And this course is certainly overloaded with information, so it is important to understand what exactly you need to prepare for and what literature can help.

To prepare for the exam, you need a regular school textbook. However, it must be remembered that the Unified State Examination in social studies determines not only the knowledge of the basic course, but also reveals the skills acquired by the student during the entire period of study.

Each version of the examination paper consists of two parts and includes 29 tasks - different in form and level of complexity. Each ticket contains the following types of tasks with a short answer:

  • tasks for choice - in each of them you can choose several correct answers;
  • task to identify the structural elements of concepts using tables;
  • a task to establish the correspondence of positions that are presented in two sets (tables, diagrams, graphs);
  • task to define terms and concepts.

Part 1

The first part of the exam contains 20 short answer tasks. To complete these tasks, you need to know the basic facts, phenomena, processes and be able to characterize them from a scientific point of view. The same tasks test the skills of working with texts, diagrams, tables, diagrams (search for the necessary information), the ability to analyze, systematize and summarize disparate information.

Important: in the tasks of the first part of the six possible answers, two or three may turn out to be correct.

Part 2

There are nine tasks in the second part, and they already need a detailed answer. In general, these are the basic social sciences that form the social science course of a secondary school: social philosophy, economics, sociology, political science, social psychology, and jurisprudence.

Tasks reveal the skills of working with information: search, analysis, application in the conditions of a specific task. As well as the ability to work with text, find the main idea and the author's position, the ability to formulate one's opinion and argue it, the ability to plan a detailed answer.

Essay

For the essay, you need to choose one of the five proposed topics. Topics are given in the form of brief statements by representatives of public opinion, politicians, scientists and cultural figures. Sometimes these statements are aphoristic in nature.

Each topic-statement is conditionally correlated with one of the basic sciences of the social science course (topics in sociology and social psychology are combined into a common block). But graduates have the right to disclose it in the context of any social science or several sciences. This task tests a wide range of skills - to reveal the meaning of the author's judgment, to involve the studied theoretical provisions of the social sciences, to independently formulate and concretize their reasoning with examples, to draw conclusions.

  1. Make a trial version and identify "weak points".
  2. Learn basic terms, concepts and definitions.
  3. For preparation, use teaching aids (school textbooks, manuals for applicants, collections of diagrams and tables), which will be discussed below.
  4. Correctly allocate time for tasks.
  5. This rule follows from the previous one. Do first those tasks that do not cause you confusion. Come back to more difficult questions later.
  6. Read the question carefully to the end and answer it exactly. Mistakes mostly happen precisely because of inattention or misunderstanding of the issue.
  7. Performing tasks with diagrams, tables, diagrams and text, carefully study the information material and only then proceed to its implementation.
  8. When answering the questions of the second part, try to answer the question posed especially clearly, monitor the correctness of the wording.
  9. In the essay, show the maximum of your knowledge and skills. It is very important how well you know the personalities from the social science course, how well you can argue your point of view and use cause-and-effect relationships.
  10. Start preparing early. If you do everything at the last moment, it is easy to mix up a lot - as already mentioned, the social studies course is overloaded with information.

Literature to help

None of the manuals fully covers all the issues of the course, each author interprets the subject from the standpoint of his science. Therefore, ideally, you need to read all the literature from the list. Then you can easily qualify for the highest score.

  1. Social Science: Textbook, Arbuzkin A.M., 4th ed., revised. and additional 2011.

This textbook is not an ordinary social science textbook for high school, but a guide to preparing for the unified state exam (USE) in social science.
The structure of the manual is determined by the tasks of quick and high-quality preparation for the Unified State Examination and consists of four sections: “The role of the textbook in preparing for the Unified State Examination in social studies”, “Unified State Examination in social studies: a general description”, “Content block-modules tested for the Unified State Examination in social studies”, "Let's check your readiness for the exam." These sections, on the one hand, are logically interconnected, which allows organizing the process of preparing for the Unified State Examination more productively, and on the other hand, they are to a certain extent autonomous, valuable in themselves, which expands the boundaries of the possible use of the textbook as a whole, taking into account the educational needs of the examinees.
