This correct sphere contains a closed ecological system with park-like systems in the central part - a complete world within itself. In fact, this is an artificial planet, as a result of their astro-engineering activities. It is difficult to perceive it as a reality, but it allows us to more visibly imagine that gigantic abyss in technical development between us and a civilization that has gone ahead for millions and billions of years and is located in our solar system. This civilization is extremely responsible and has significant influence in various galactic structures, and also belongs to the so-called Council, which was created by various civilizations with the aim of studying the "migratory paths of intelligent life" and limiting contacts between certain races in our Galaxy. And also for the purpose of monitoring and controlling processes on Earth. It is a fact that only one side of the Moon can be seen from Earth. The period of its rotation around its own axis coincides with the period of rotation around our planet. For a lunar observer, the Earth always hangs in one area of ​​the sky, so the Moon is a very good base for observation.

The explanation for the presence of a huge number of meteorite craters on the surface of the Moon is widely known - the absence of an atmosphere. Most of the cosmic bodies that try to penetrate the Earth encounter kilometers of atmosphere on their way, and they all end up disintegrating. The moon does not have such an ability that would protect its surface from scars - craters of various sizes, left by all the meteorites crashing into it. What remains inexplicable is the shallow depth to which the aforementioned bodies were able to penetrate. Indeed, it looks as if a layer of extremely strong substance did not allow meteorites to penetrate into the center of the satellite. Even craters with a diameter of 150 kilometers do not exceed 4 kilometers deep into the moon. This feature is inexplicable in terms of normal observations that there should be craters at least 50 km deep. The results of modern geological research lead to the conclusion that the Moon is a planetoid that is a hollow ball. Scientists still cannot explain how the Moon, with such a strange structure, is indestructible. One of the explanations proposed by the aforementioned scientists is that the lunar crust is composed of a solid framework. It has been proven that the lunar crust and rocks have high levels of titanium. The astronauts were convinced of this when they tried to drill the lunar sea. The lunar seas are composed of "illeminite" - a mineral with a high content of titanium. Uranium 236 and neptunium 237 (which have no analogues on Earth) were found in lunar rocks, as well as corrosion-resistant iron particles. According to Russian scientists Vasin and Shcherbakov, the thickness of the titanium layer is 30 km. Computer calculations have shown that inside this metallic sphere there may be a hollow space, approximately 70 million cubic kilometers. There is an assumption that some technical devices of the system are located in this space, which are designed for mechanisms serving the movement and repair of the space supership, devices for external observations, some structures that provide connection between the armor plating and the internal contents of the Moon are used by some civilization. Numerous mechanisms and structures are also located on the surface of the Moon itself. most of these huge mechanisms have been destroyed, but others are clearly still working. No matter how absurd such a theory may look, it has the right to life until convincing evidence to the contrary is provided. Below are just a few of these facts:
- Judging by the analysis of the density of the Moon and the comparison of these data with the Earth, we can conclude that the Moon is hollow inside. A natural satellite cannot be hollow.
- It is not clear how rocks appeared on the surface of the moon. For example, an analysis of dust found on one of the rock fragments showed that it differs significantly in its chemical composition from the rock itself, which cannot be, according to the theory of the appearance of dust as a result of the collision and decay of such blocks.
- The age of the moon is unknown. It is believed that it is much older than the Earth and even the Sun. So, for example, some lunar rocks are more than five billion years old, and the dust on them is even older.
- Some of the lunar rocks were magnetized, but this cannot be, since the moon does not have a magnetic field.
- There are some large round formations on the Moon that provoke gravitational anomalies. They are called mascons. It is not excluded that these formations were created artificially.
- The moon has its own laws. That is, usually, heavier elements are below the surface, while lighter ones, on the contrary, are on the surface. On the Moon, things are different.
- When the Apollo 12 crew ejected their lunar module onto the surface of the moon in November 1969, its impact, spreading forty miles from the landing site, provoked an artificial lunar earthquake. This was followed by an unexpected phenomenon: the moon began to ring like a bell. This sound subsided after about an hour. Based on these data, scientists have suggested that either the Moon has an ultralight core, or it does not have one at all.
There is still water on the moon. On March 7, 1971, the lunar rover recorded a large cloud of steam that floated over the surface of the moon. The cloud lasted about fourteen hours and covered an area of ​​about one hundred square kilometers.

At the end of 1972, the American lunar program was closed. Following it, the program was closed by the USSR. For the layman, there was quite enough information that space flights to an earthly satellite are very expensive and that there is nothing interesting on this satellite. What was the real reason that provoked the Russians and Americans to close the multi-billion dollar programs?

On July 20, 1969, for the first time in the history of mankind, the American manned spacecraft Apollo 11 flies up to the moon for the purpose of landing, millions of radio amateurs around the world watched the broadcasts of the astronauts' communications with Houston. It was then that the first suspicions appeared that the astronauts were not telling something. And it was true. Radio amateurs from Switzerland and Australia managed to catch the astronauts' conversations on other frequencies immediately after their landing on the moon. They talked about strange things.
Only 10 years later, Maurice Chatelain, one of the creators of radio equipment for the lunar program, admitted that he was present at that communication session and personally heard Neil Armstrong report that when the lander began to descend, three UFOs with a diameter of 15-30 meters landed on the edge of the crater in within sight of the Apollo crew. When Armstrong landed on the moon and saw the spaceships, he immediately reported back to Earth. Further, astronaut Edwin Aldrin is talking about some stone blocks near the lander. Some of them emit a small, almost colorless glow from the outside, and some from the inside. He shot several fragments on a 16-mm color film, on one of which two unidentified flying objects of different diameters, as if connecting, walked one towards the other. Then a certain jet of either gas or liquid arose in our understanding. One object began to go up, and then they joined again. All these exercises were filmed. After that, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration - US National Aeronautics and Space Administration) decided to classify everything related to the flight to the moon. (After Apollo 11, other ships also visited there. NASA did not dare to suddenly and without explanation interrupt its lunar program. This could cause a panic on Earth. But the tasks of all subsequent expeditions were simplified, and the time spent on the moon was reduced.) Officially, both NASA and the astronauts themselves refused to comment on this. Almost all astronauts were Air Force officers. And they were covered by the circulars of the military department, including one that explicitly states: the disclosure of any information about UFOs by military personnel falls under the law on espionage.
In 1976, a scandalous book was published. It claims that there were no Americans on the moon. Surprisingly, NASA did not refute this information. Only 30 years later, experts managed to find out that the book was written by order of the aerospace agency itself in order to hide what the Apollo crew actually discovered on the moon.
NASA had a catalog of observations of lunar mystery objects dating back to 1540, and they had a clear idea of ​​what astronauts might encounter on the Moon. In this regard, in the depths of NASA, a cover-up operation was conceived in advance. For this purpose, in advance, during the development of the Apollo program, pavilion surveys were made showing astronauts on the Moon, which were subsequently broadcast live to the whole world on July 20, 1969. The whole world never saw the true surveys carried out by the Americans on the Moon. They apparently still lie in the secret archives of NASA.

History with lunar soil:

According to the American legend, the Apollo 11 spacecraft, having flown to the Moon (landing on July 20, 1969), delivered 22 kg of lunar soil samples from there to Earth. Then, on November 14-24, 1969, Apollo 12 flew to the Moon, delivering 33.9 kg of samples to Earth. Total: 55.9 kg "for all mankind", as the Americans assured. And only on September 12, 1970, 14 months after the Americans began researching the "delivered samples", the Soviet automatic station "Luna-16" went to the Moon, which brought 101 g of lunar soil - this sample was taken in the area, pretty much away from the Apollo landing sites. Of these 101 years, the USSR transferred 3.2 years to the USA, i.e. about 3%. On April 13, the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences was visited by representatives of NASA and the transfer of samples of lunar soil from among those delivered to Earth by the Soviet automatic station Luna-20 took place. At the same time, a sample of lunar soil obtained by the crew of the American Apollo 15 spacecraft was handed over to Soviet scientists. The exchange was made in accordance with an agreement between the USSR Academy of Sciences and NASA, signed in January 1971.
The lunar soil delivered by the Apollos, despite its rather large amount, was not given for research to all competent laboratories of the USSR, and out of 51 research groups in the Soviet Union, 46 did not see samples of American "lunar soil" allegedly sent to the USSR, although by the nature of their research they were obliged to carry out comparisons, as required both by the meaning of flights to the moon and the laws of propaganda, and was placed at the disposal of a narrow circle of practically only Moscow scientists, mainly from the Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Vernadsky. Only 3.1 g of American samples were issued to Soviet scientists for research. There is only one explanation for this violation of common sense: the Central Committee of the CPSU did not want the Americans to fake their "lunar soil" to be revealed. The Soviet lunar soil was made available to a narrow circle of scientists from 40 American and French research groups. They did not explore the American soil. Almost all research groups independent of NASA noted a sharp difference between the Luna-16 soil and American samples in dozens of parameters, and the deviations of the parameters were sometimes hundreds of times. As a result, independent Western scientists were forced to explain these discrepancies by contamination of samples, uneven soil mixing on the Moon, and the uniqueness of the region of the Moon where Luna-16 landed. Although the explanation is on the surface: instead of lunar soil, the Americans slipped samples falsified on Earth for research. Finally, the Paris Observatory determined from changes in the polarization of the reflected light that the sample returned from the Moon was only the soil of Luna 16.
Here's what NASA claimed about the research:
Only a few series of experiments were carried out with samples weighing 20–200 g, while most of the experiments were performed on samples weighing 1–2 g. Studies of the Moon's soils collected under the Apollo program have not yet been completed. The main part of the material delivered to Earth was left for long-term storage in the expectation that new, more subtle methods of analysis and instruments will appear in the future. Some of the samples are stored in sealed containers, in which they were delivered from the Moon. For initial experiments, NASA provided scientists from a number of countries with samples of lunar rocks weighing 2-3 g, with an obligation to return them after the study is completed.
NASA claims it releases approximately 1,100 samples per year and is being examined by "more than 60 labs." Moreover, irrevocably unspoiled samples are returned and launched in this way “in a circle”. At the same time, they do not hide the fact that they are twisting the same samples in a circle until they are finally tortured.
By the simplest multiplication, one can estimate that (1000 samples per 0.02-0.09 g) no more than 100 grams of American regolith walks around the world. The main reason for this seems to lie in the fact that the determination of, for example, compressibility and shear resistance parameters, which are so important for soil science, requires tens and hundreds of grams. Since the decision was made in the United States to keep the bulk of the delivered samples completely intact until new, more advanced methods of studying them are developed, scientists have not yet received large samples and could hardly get adequate results. We can draw the following conclusion: what lies in the vaults and is “mothballed” for future research is just an imitation. Moreover, they made it quite officially, ostensibly for educational purposes, slipping crushed lunar meteorites, where - samples taken from one place, under the guise of taken from different places (approximate data for 1975 - 79).

Mankind sends vehicles into deep space, but completely ignores the planet closest to us. I think all the states that have sent their spacecraft to the "Moon" are well aware that under the guise of what we see from the Earth, there is something completely different.
There are satellites flying in orbit around the Earth that can take a photograph of the surface on which a car number is visible, and photographs of the surface of the moon transmitted by terrestrial satellites are of disgusting quality.
From such a distance from which we look at the Moon from the Earth, any cosmic body, devoid of vegetation, atmosphere and water, will silver, reflecting sunlight - but this is from a distance. If you look at the photos that American astronauts took on the moon, then even close up it is either white or grayish-silver in the sun. And in the shade - dark. In a word, black and white is completely devoid of color. It cannot be that the local soil is the same gray everywhere. For some mysterious reason, NASA's trick has been going on for years. All lunar images posted on official websites in the public domain have been processed. As a rule, the natural color of the object is removed and its structure is masked so as not to give out some details that should not fall into the field of view. The employees of the NASA photo lab themselves admitted to such a falsification: “We have an order to remove everything from the photo before they are published that may cause an unwanted question.”

In 2007, Ken Johnston, former head of NASA's lunar laboratory photography service, claims that there is an unearthly civilization on the moon, the main evidence is pictures taken from space. Millions of photographs of the Moon have been taken by spacecraft from various countries, which show the ruins of architectural structures, sculptures, arches, bridges, pyramids and other artificial formations. Dome-shaped structures on the Moon also raise a lot of questions. From 1930 to 1960, more than two hundred observations of moving lunar domes were recorded; they resemble moving pillboxes or bunkers. He says that back in July '71, he provided these pictures to NASA management, but the aerospace agency ordered these pictures to be destroyed, and they took a non-disclosure agreement from Johnston himself, but Ken kept the pictures. After 40 years, he decided to publish them. Johnston assures that he has another proof that there is another civilization on the Moon - these are the negotiations of the astronauts who landed on the Moon. According to Ken, 2 frequencies were used to communicate with the astronauts: the official one, which went on the air, and the secret one, which was used by NASA and was intended for special cases if something did not go according to plan on the Moon. Later, Ken Johnston revealed another secret. A former NASA employee claims that Apollo astronauts discovered a previously unknown gravity control technology on the Moon. Secrets that were brought to Earth. Perhaps now, based on these technologies, the United States is developing the latest types of engines and weapons.

For such a long time, the Moon remains an extremely little explored object. There are very few flights to it, at least officially. Why do all plans for building some kind of lunar base, plans for regular flights of probes there, even for purely utilitarian purposes, remain only plans? Despite the close study of the satellite, hundreds of experiments and multiple flights to the moon, only give rise to even more unresolved questions.

As Plate writes in Death from Heaven, a gamma-ray burst is the brightest event since the Big Bang. None of these outbursts repeats another, but they all arise due to catastrophes on a galactic scale: when very large stars die, stop "burning" and collapse under the influence of their own gravity or, presumably, due to the collision of two neutron stars (objects the size of city, but with a mass like that of one or two suns).

In such cases, the energy escapes not uniformly in all directions, but in directed beams. This event is so grandiose that sometimes it can be seen with the naked eye for billions (!) of light years. What will happen if such a beam hits the Earth?

Let's assume that the gamma-ray burst occurred very close: at a distance of 100 light years. Even at such a close distance, the diameter of the gamma-ray burst beam would be gigantic, 80 trillion km. This means that the entire Earth, the entire solar system would be swallowed up by it, like a sand flea captured by a tsunami.

Fortunately, gamma-ray bursts are relatively short-lived, so the beam will affect us for less than a second to several minutes. The average burst lasts approximately ten seconds.

This is short compared to the Earth's rotation, so the beam would only hit one hemisphere. The second hemisphere would be relatively safe... at least for a while. The most dire consequences would be in places directly under the gamma-ray burst (where the flash would be visible directly overhead, at the zenith), and minimal where the flash would be visible on the horizon. But still, as we shall see, no place on Earth would be completely safe.

The unbridled energy that would be dumped on Earth is overwhelming. This is more than the worst nightmares of the Cold War: it is like a gamma-ray burst detonating a nuclear bomb with a yield of one megaton over every 2.5 km2 of the planet. It's (probably) not enough to boil the oceans or blow the Earth's atmosphere, but the destruction would be beyond comprehension.

Keep in mind, this is all from an object 900 trillion km away.

Anyone who looked at the sky at the time of the flash could have been blinded, although peak brightness in the visible range would probably have been reached only after a few seconds - enough to flinch and turn away. Not that it helped much.

Those who would have been caught on the street at that moment would have been in big trouble. Even if they hadn't been burned by the heat - and they would have been - they would have instantly received a fatal burn from a huge stream of ultraviolet radiation. The ozone layer would be destroyed literally instantly, and UV radiation from both the gamma-ray burst and the Sun would freely reach the surface of the Earth, making it, as well as the oceans to a depth of several meters barren.

And that's just from UV radiation and heat. It seems cruel to even mention the much, much worse effects of exposure to gamma and X-rays.

Instead, let's digress a bit. Gamma-ray bursts are incredibly rare. Although they most likely occur several times a day somewhere in the universe, the universe itself is very large. At present, the probability that one of them will occur at a distance of 100 light-years from us is zero. Perfect, absolute zero. There are no stars near us that could, in principle, give rise to a gamma-ray burst. The closest supernova candidate is further away, and gamma-ray bursts are much rarer than supernovae.

Feel better? Good. Now let's try a more realistic approach. What is the closest candidate for a gamma-ray burst source?

In the sky of the southern hemisphere there is a star unremarkable to the naked eye. It is called Eta Carina, or simply Eta, a dim star in a crowd of brighter stars. However, its dim light is deceptive, behind it lies its fury. It is actually about 7,500 light-years away - in fact, it is the most distant star that can be seen with the naked eye.

The star itself (actually Eta could be a binary system, two stars orbiting each other. The stuff surrounding the star gives off so much glare and noise that astronomers are still not 100% sure) is a monster: its mass could be 100 solar masses or even more, and it radiates 5 million times more energy than the Sun - in one second it emits as much light as the Sun emits in two months. Periodically, Eta has spasms and vomits huge amounts of matter. In 1843 she had such a violent fit that she became the second brightest star in the sky, even at such a great distance. It ejected gigantic amounts of matter in excess of ten solar masses at speeds in excess of 1.5 million km/h. Today we see the consequences of that explosion in the form of two huge clouds of divergent matter, similar to a shot from a space gun. That event was almost as powerful as a supernova.

Eta has all the hallmarks of a brewing gamma-ray burst. It will most likely explode as a supernova, but it is not known whether it will be a hypernova type gamma-ray burst or not. It should also be noted that if it explodes and emits a gamma-ray burst, the orientation of this system is such that the beam will not hit the Earth. We can tell this from the geometry of the gas clouds ejected during the 1843 seizure: the lobes of the expanding gas are tilted about 45° relative to us, and any GRBs would be along that axis. Let me be more specific: in the near or even medium term, a gamma-ray burst from Eta or anywhere else does not threaten us.

But it's still interesting to think "what if". What if Eta was aimed at us and went hypernova? What would happen then?

Again, no good. Even though it would not even come close in brightness to the Sun, it would be as bright as the Moon, or even ten times brighter. You wouldn't be able to look at it without squinting, but that brightness would only last for a few seconds or minutes, so there probably wouldn't be any long-term damage to the life cycles of flora or fauna.

The flux of ultraviolet radiation would be intense but brief. People on the street would have received moderate sunburn, but in all likelihood, there would not have been a statistically significant increase in skin cancer cases in the future.

But with gamma and X-rays, the situation is completely different. The Earth's atmosphere would absorb these types of radiation, and the consequences of this would be much worse than in the case of a nearby supernova explosion.

The most direct consequence would be a powerful electromagnetic pulse, much more powerful than the one generated in Hawaii during the nuclear tests of the Starfish Prime device. In this case, EMP (electromagnetic pulse - approx. TASS) would instantly destroy any unshielded electronic device in that hemisphere of the Earth, which was directed towards the burst. Computers, phones, airplanes, cars, any electronic object would stop working. This also applies to power systems: a huge current would be induced in the power lines, leading to their overload. People would be left without electricity and without any means of long-distance communication (the equipment of all satellites would burn out from gamma radiation in any case). This would be more than just an inconvenience, because it means hospitals, fire departments and other emergency services would also be left without electricity.

But as we'll see in a moment, we may not need emergency services...

The consequences for the Earth's atmosphere would be severe. Scientists are closely studying this situation. Using the same models as described in Chapter 3, and assuming that the GRB originated at Eta's distance, they determined what the consequences would be. And these results are not at all encouraging.

The ozone layer would be severely impacted. The gamma radiation from the burst would completely destroy the ozone molecules. The ozone layer worldwide would be reduced by an average of 35%, with more than 50% reduced in some individual regions. This is incredibly detrimental in itself - mind you, our current ozone problems are caused by a relatively small drop, only 3% or so.

The effects of this are very long lasting and can last for years - even after five years the ozone layer can still be 10% thinner. During this time, UV radiation from the Sun would be more intense on the Earth's surface. Microorganisms that form the basis of the food chain are very sensitive to it. Many of them would die, leading to the possible extinction of other species higher up the food chain.

To top it all off, the reddish-brown nitrogen dioxide produced by the gamma-ray burst from Eta Carinae (see Chapters 2 and 3) would significantly reduce the amount of sunlight reaching Earth.

The exact consequences of this are difficult to determine, but it seems likely that even a few percent reduction in the amount of sunlight on the entire Earth (nitrogen dioxide would diffuse throughout the atmosphere) would lead to a significant cooling of the Earth and could, presumably, be the initiating factor for an ice age.

In addition, the chemical mixture that acid rain would represent would contain enough nitric acid, and this would also theoretically have devastating consequences for the environment.

Next, there is a problem with subatomic particles (cosmic rays) from the burst. What damage would be from them is not specifically known. But, as we discussed in Chapters 2 and 3, high-energy particles can have a wide variety of effects on Earth. A gamma-ray burst at a distance of 7500 light years would have launched a huge amount of subatomic particles into our atmosphere, and they would have traveled at a speed slightly less than the speed of light. Just a few hours after the burst, they would have already burst into our atmosphere, spilling a shower of muons. We constantly observe muons arriving from space, but in small quantities. However, a nearby gamma-ray burst would generate a mass of muons. One group of astronomers calculated that up to 46 billion muons per cm2 would hit the Earth's surface over the entire hemisphere directed at the burst (such conclusions, however, are debatable. This is a new area of ​​\u200b\u200bscience, and the models are not entirely reliable. However, if you you will learn something from this, then just remember that a near burst of gamma radiation is bad - author's note). It seems like a lot - well, yes, it is. These particles would cascade out of the sky and be swallowed up by anything in their path. Considering how well body tissues can absorb muons, the astronomers who performed the calculation found that an unprotected person would receive a dose of radiation dozens of times greater than the lethal one. Hiding will not help much: muons can penetrate water to a depth of almost 2 km and up to 800 m into rocks! Therefore, almost all life on Earth would suffer.

So the destruction of the ozone layer would not be such a big deal. By the time it became a problem, most of the animals and plants on Earth would have been dead long ago.

This is the nightmare scenario described at the beginning of this chapter. However, before you start to panic, remember: Eta Carina's possible gamma-ray burst will most likely not be directed in our direction. But before we wrap it up, there is another possible progenitor of the gamma-ray burst that we need to keep in mind. It's called WR 104, and coincidentally it's about the same distance from us as Eta. WR 104 is a binary system whose star is a bloated, massive beast approaching the end of its life. It could explode, emitting a gamma-ray burst, and could be pointed more or less at us, but both of these assumptions are inaccurate. In all likelihood, this monster does not threaten us either, but it is worth mentioning.

“... in August 1738, something similar to lightning appeared on the disk of the Moon; in October 1785, bright flashes of light appeared on the border of the dark lunar disk, consisting of individual small sparks and moving in straight lines to the north; in July 1842, during a solar eclipse, the lunar disk occasionally crossed bright stripes; in September 1881, a comet-like object was moving across the lunar disk, which was observed from two earthly points, 12 thousand kilometers apart from each other. Let us return, however, to our time ... In the autumn of 1957, the American magazine Skys and Telescope published a photograph of the outskirts of the Moon, the Fra Mauro crater, obtained by astronomer R. Curtis.   3. changes in the color of the lunar object;

  4. the appearance or disappearance of dark spots;

  5. elongation of the lunar horns;

  6. anomalous phenomena during occultations of stars by the Moon;

  7. non-stationary phenomena during lunar eclipses;

  8. moving LTPs. The history of such observations goes deep into the past.

One of the first descriptions of the phenomenon that happened on July 18, 1178, belongs to the English chronicler Gervasius of Canterbury: five people saw how “the upper horn of the young Moon split into two parts. A flaming torch suddenly jumped out of the middle of this fissure, spraying fire, hot coals and sparks in all directions for a long distance. In the autumn of 1957, the American magazine Skys and Telescope published a photograph of the outskirts of the Moon, the Fra Mauro crater, obtained by astronomer R. Curtis. The most interesting thing is that after some time the cross was not in this place. Further. In May 1964, American astronomers Harris, Croce and others observed a white spot over the Sea of ​​Tranquility for more than an hour, moving at a speed of about 32 km / h. The obvious non-randomness of the distribution of moving light objects makes it possible, in particular, to reject the explanation of these phenomena by the effects of terrestrial atmospheric phenomena. It is also impossible to connect them with manifestations of lunar volcanism, with particles of the Earth's magnetic field tail, with radiation stimulated by ultraviolet photons of solar origin, and so on. This means that we are again dealing with something so far incomprehensible, mysterious ... But even more surprising are some facts and circumstances, some of which we will consider below and which can be interpreted as “traces” of extraterrestrial conscious activity on the Moon, or rather, with the Moon. “The moon is an artificial satellite!” - said M. Khvastunov (M. Vasiliev) and R. Shcherbakov in an article that appeared on January 10, 1968 in the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, and then in the Soviet Union magazine. Well, why can't a spaceship be spherical? After all, this is the most economical form that allows you to isolate the maximum volume with a minimum surface. Moon dimensions. But if this ship were smaller, would its numerous crew be able to isolate themselves from the hostile influence of space, protect the hull from violent meteor strikes, and survive for a sufficiently long time?
