Cyril, please tell us what a natural voice is? How can it be developed?

The natural voice is a free and strong voice, with a pleasant timbre, which maximally reflects the inner world and individuality of a person. The natural voice is inherent in everyone from birth, but only children use it to the fullest. In an adult, the voice is clamped and sounds much weaker and more constrained, in a word - unnaturally, by 5% of its capabilities.

In order to develop a natural voice, or rather, to return it, to revive it, you need to get rid of the clamps. This can be done with the help of special exercises. Not for training or setting the voice, but, on the contrary, for relaxation, freeing the voice.

And how did the idea of ​​creating the School of the Natural Voice come about?

As a result of meeting Vladimir Bagrunov, who was one of the first to tell me that the voice should not be trained, but, on the contrary, relaxed, freed from clamps.

Could you please tell us about the teaching method? What is its feature?

The technique includes the most effective exercises for removing clips from the voice, as well as for revealing a full-sounding, juicy, pleasant to the ear, chest timbre. In addition to exercises, the methodology includes recommendations on a lifestyle that favors the maximum improvement of the voice, the revival of its natural qualities.

The technique takes a person through the same stages that a baby goes through after birth. Starting from simple sounds, then, syllables and words. At each stage, there is a relaxation of the voice, getting rid of clips and an improvement in timbre.

How does the Ministry of Culture treat your School? Are you familiar with your methodology?
Is it going to be applied in educational universities of the country?

I don't think it's familiar.

If we talk about communication, then, of course, the natural voice has a certain “magic” of influencing the listener, the interlocutor - due to the sincerity of emotions and a pleasant chest timbre. A person with a natural voice radiates more confidence and receives significantly more attention to his words. Therefore, the natural voice helps very well in business negotiations and public speaking.

In addition to communication, the natural voice helps to improve the state of health - due to the vibrations from the sound. While talking or singing in a natural voice - the body
permeated with vibrations down to the cellular level. Internal organs receive a "massage" from the inside. Moaning is nature's way of healing. And the song - prolongs life!

Yes. The natural voice as a whole reveals a person, his potential. As Stephen Covey says, the task of a 21st century man is to open his voice and inspire others to do so. The voice here refers to the purpose of a person. The revival of the natural voice affects, among other things, the disclosure of the destiny of a person, his inner voice.

Can you please tell us where your classes take place?

The main type of training is online, via the Internet. A person receives tasks by e-mail, and once a week he sends an audio report, which our teacher listens to and sends a personal comment to everyone. Therefore, classes are held all over the globe, where there is Internet.

In addition to online classes (Internet course), there are also face-to-face master classes that are held in major cities of Russia and neighboring countries.

Online there are a number of applied courses dedicated not to the revival of the natural voice (removing clamps and improving the timbre), but, for example, learning to sing. The purpose of creation is to convey to people information about the phenomenal properties of the natural voice inherent in each person, and ways to reveal it.

Are you following an innovative approach, an established system, or both as you work?

I didn't quite understand what you mean. :) In general, I adhere to the principles by which all nature functions and develops, including the human voice. The work is built according to these principles.

Kirill, do you plan to create a new project? Or do you see your development in the existing one?

There is still more to do in this project, of course. A new project has also been brewing for a long time, dedicated to the restoration of vision. There is also a musical group.

Amazing! What do you like to do besides singing? What else would you like to try?

Apart from singing, I like to make love, business, socializing with people and car racing. I would love to try flying!

Kirill Pleshakov-Kachalin was born on September 18, 1983 in the city of Volgograd. Now he is the author of very popular voice development video courses and the creator of the Natural Voice School project. But in his youth, he did not even suspect that he would connect his future with music, and he was going to enter the Polytechnic University.

How his singing sounds, the guy first thought at the age of 14. In the course of observations, he found out that he had a rough and ugly low voice, and plus to this - a complete miss of any note. This dissatisfaction with singing resulted in his decision to enter the Volgograd State Institute of Arts and Culture.

With the support of his parents, Kirill attended preparatory courses - he began to study solfeggio and playing the piano. He took private piano lessons in jazz. Somehow, the young man immediately got a good technique, and in six months he learned to play quite well. After graduating from school, he successfully entered the conductor-choir department.

There he began his first vocal lessons, thanks to which the guy became the best vocalist in his class by the winter session. His teacher was very pleased, because it was her merit. But then Cyril became very ill and lost his voice for almost a month. And when he recovered, it turned out that he needed to set his voice again.

As a result, over the next three and a half years, everything remained at the same level. The student's voice did not sound, the intonation walked within a third. But at the same time, he immediately wrote two-voice solfeggio dictations (this indicates a good ear for music), and some teachers even believed that he had absolute pitch. In the last year of study, the student was very interested in the work of Yuri Leonidovich Moroz, the author and creator of the Yuri Moroz Institute. He had a dream to move to St. Petersburg and do his own thing there.

After graduating from the institute with honors, in 2004 Kirill moved to St. Petersburg and entered the Institute of Business and Law. There he received knowledge in economics, marketing and management, learned public speaking. At one of the scientific meetings, he met the St. Petersburg scientist Vladimir Bagrunov, who studied the sound of the human voice. This topic interested him immediately. The scientist told him a lot of interesting things about the nature of the voice, about Chaliapin, about healing with the help of the voice, showed him simple exercises, some of which he invented himself, in order to improve the voice.

Kirill tried these exercises on himself, and was so inspired by the results that he decided that this knowledge and simple exercises should be available to as many people as possible. So in 2007, the "School of the Natural Voice" appears and becomes very popular. After all, almost every one of us wants to speak in a more pleasant, soulful, expressive voice, wants to sing well. Plus, with your voice you can still relieve fatigue and stress, heal yourself and engage in self-knowledge.

Traveling around Russia with master classes and meeting interesting people, Kirill constantly enriched his baggage in terms of effective voice tuning methods. Since 2007, he has conducted more than 500 trainings in all major cities of Russia from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, as well as in Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, and the United Arab Emirates.

Today, the “Natural Voice School” is a project whose goal is to convey to people a set of simple exercises that allow absolutely anyone, regardless of age and gender, prior skills and knowledge, to improve the sound of their voice for communication, negotiations, public speaking, learn to sing from scratch or improve the quality of singing, and use your voice as a tool for self-discovery and improvement.

I first thought about how my voice sounds when I was 14 years old. I remember I was about to call a girl whom I really liked and with whom we communicated only by correspondence for a long time. Before doing this - I went downstairs - to my neighbor friend and asked him - Does my voice sound masculine enough?

With that girl, we really didn’t succeed, because. At that time I was a very timid and insecure person.

But then, at the same time, I liked one song, similar to the anthem of Russia. The song "Go West" by the group "pet shop boys". The soloist of this group has a weak, inexpressive and high-pitched voice, but it has its own "trick". Then it seemed to me that this is an example of an ideal voice!

I still have those recordings, but I'm ashamed to post them anywhere. If you want, I can send it to you for the sake of interest, but I warn you that it is impossible to listen to them for more than three seconds!

On the other hand, dissatisfaction with my voice resulted in the decision to enter the Volgograd Institute of Arts (I was born in Volgograd) in the conductor-choir department. Despite the fact that six months before the end of the 11th grade, I was going to enter the Polytechnic.

Thanks to my parents, who did not insist on a polytechnic, although my decision to go to a music university was like a bolt from the blue for them.

I didn't have any musical data, I didn’t finish music schools, I didn’t know how to play anything, very sang out of tune, and at the same time - was timid and insecure- obviously not for the stage.

Although, in fairness, it should be noted that when I was 5 years- I collected concerts in the country! At that time I really liked Vysotsky's songs. And I took the guitar (I couldn't play it, of course) and sang Vysotsky's songs. I didn't know how to sing either, but I knew all the lyrics by heart!

Imagine what it was like show? A five-year-old boy yells Vysotsky's texts and at the same time sometimes hits the guitar! They came to look at me from all over the dacha street.

And I also loved to ride on a swing and sing at the same time, the same Vysotsky. It also attracted attention. But all this was in early childhood.

At school, starting at the age of about 11, I began to close myself off from people and went into the computer world. Therefore, in fact, the Polytechnic University would be a logical continuation of the school.

But thanks to fate - six months before the entrance exams, I decide to enter a music university.

This decision was strongly influenced by my classmate and friend - Alexei, who studied music at that time and knew how to play the button accordion and piano. He got me hooked! Now this is Alexei Hitman - a talented actor (the main role in "Ranetki", the author of hit songs and the electric accordion player of the Balabama group! Dima Bilan, for example, sings his song - "Shores / Heaven".

But returning to the distant year 2000 (the year of my graduation from school) - with the support of my parents - I enter preparatory courses - and begin to study solfeggio and piano playing. I am also starting to take private jazz piano lessons. Somehow, I immediately got a good technique, and in six months I learned to play quite well!

As a result, at the entrance exams to the Institute of Arts, I scored 24 out of 25 possible points and was gladly accepted into the conductor-choir department!

And this is where my first vocal lessons. I remember how the teacher told me - put your hand on your chest, do you feel how it resonates? The chest is the foundation of the voice. Don't think about notes, think about meaning, about images. Sing bolder! Don't stress. Don't listen to the sound, think ahead!

As a result, in a way I don't understand, by the winter session I became the best vocalist in my class. The teacher was very pleased with me and gave me a well-deserved "excellent". She was especially pleased that I had never put my voice anywhere before, so what I can do is her merit.

But then - we went on winter holidays. And I remember how right after the new year I got sick with something and for almost a month I COMPLETELY lost my voice. Not only could I sing, I couldn't even SPEAK. Just whispered the words, with great effort.

As a result, over the next three and a half years - everything remained at the same level - my voice did not sound, and the intonation walked within a third. Despite the fact that I immediately wrote two-voice solfeggio dictations (this indicates a good ear for music). Some of the teachers even thought that I had absolute pitch. Although it is not.

I graduated from the Institute of Arts with honors and with two fours - in world culture, and in vocals. The four in vocals was very stretched, rather - there should have been a three, but in this case I would not have been given a red diploma. And since they loved me very much at the institute, they decided to put a four in vocals and not deprive me of a red diploma.

But in the last year of study at the Institute of Arts - I was very carried away by the work of Yuri Leonidovich Moroz - this is the author and creator of the "School of His Business" -

And I had a dream - to move to St. Petersburg, and do my own business there.

And in 2004 I moved to St. Petersburg and entered the Institute of Business and Law. At this institute, I received knowledge in economics, marketing and management, but most importantly - learned public speaking! The fact is that at every lecture or seminar - I always tried engage in conversations with teachers. Sometimes it worked out, and we talked on the topic of the subject (and sometimes not quite on the topic) - in the presence of the whole group (10-60 people).

I remember that my classmates at such moments were divided into three parts. Our conversations annoyed someone, because they took away time from classes, someone didn’t care - if only they would go home sooner. But there were also those who really liked it! In this way - I received good feedback from the audience, and developed in myself confidence in public speaking.

And now, in the third year of the Institute of Business and Law, I am implementing the project “Peculiarities of National Entrepreneurship”, during which I get to know many interesting people - creative entrepreneurs.

At one of these meetings, I met a St. Petersburg scientist who was studying the sound of the human voice.

This topic IMMEDIATELY interested me very much, because, you remember, in my first education I am a conductor who has serious problems with his voice.

St. Petersburg scientist and researcher - Vladimir Bagrunov - told me a lot of interesting things about the nature of the voice, about Chaliapin, about healing with the help of the voice, about the fact that every person can much improve the sound of your voice and showed simple exercises, some of which he invented himself - in order to improve his voice!

I tried these exercises on myself, and decided that this knowledge and these simple exercises should be available to as many people as possible!

After all, who among us does not want to talk more pleasant, penetrating, expressive voice? Who among us does not want to be well sing? If nature has laid these abilities in each of us - why not reveal them!? Plus, it turns out that you can also use your voice relieve fatigue and stress, heal yourself and engage in self-knowledge using the voice as an instrument.

From this moment - I begin to be active in bringing this information to people.

The result is a project called "School of the Natural Voice". The name, by the way, was invented by a wonderful person - Denis Alekseevich Kotov, the general director of the largest St. Petersburg book chain "Bukvoed", who provided us with a stage for performances in his supermarkets and gave us some marketing tips.

Initially, I conducted master classes using the methodology that the St. Petersburg scientist Vladimir Bagrunov suggested to me. But after two years of studying according to his method, I found that it helps well only for tuning the SPEECH voice. Moreover, traveling around Russia with master classes and meeting interesting people in different cities, I discovered that there are many more interesting and effective methods for tuning the voice, including for singing.

For example - walking - an ancient old Slavic way, which was used by our ancestors. Or the method of Seth Riggs - a man who helps to tune the voice of famous Western pop stars - Michael Jackson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and others. I also got acquainted with the work of Hazrat-Inayat-Khan - an outstanding natural singer of the early 20th century - a friend of Scriabin - his book describes in great detail the naturalness of the voice and how to tune it.
