The college provides students with vocational education based on educational programs for primary and secondary vocational education of basic and advanced levels based on basic general education, secondary (complete) general education, primary vocational, secondary or higher vocational education.

In GAPOU RB "Sibay Medical College" additional educational programs are being implemented under contracts with individuals, preparatory courses in the Russian language and biology (72 hours) for those entering educational institutions on the basis of basic general education.

Graduate Qualification - Paramedic

The graduate should be ready for professional activity as a paramedic providing medical diagnostic and medical care to patients in medical facilities and social care institutions. A graduate has the right to occupy the position of a paramedic, obstetrician, nurse, which does not require primary training.

Education in the specialty "Medicine" is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Standards of secondary vocational education of the second generation. At the moment, preparatory work is underway for the transition to the Federal State Educational Standard.

In the process of studying at the college, students, future paramedics, master the skills of providing medical care, carrying out preventive, hygienic and anti-epidemic measures. In the conditions of preclinical and clinical training, they study the organization of care for patients with various diseases, study the structure, topography of organs and systems of the body, the main characteristics of drugs and forms, their classification, indications and contraindications for prescribing, preparing prescriptions.

The paramedic should not only have good theoretical and practical training, but be able to apply computer methods of collecting, storing and processing information in professional activities, also promote a healthy lifestyle, analyze and evaluate the patient's condition, the impact of environmental and industrial factors on him.

The training of future medical assistants is carried out by highly qualified, experienced doctors-teachers in classrooms and preclinical practice rooms equipped with modern phantoms and dummies. Industrial practice is organized in medical institutions of Sibay, the Central City Hospital of Baimaksky district and in other 7 medical institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

Specialty 060102 "Obstetrics"

Graduate qualification - midwife / obstetrician

A graduate should be ready for professional work as a midwife / obstetrician to provide medical and diagnostic assistance to pregnant women, women in childbirth, puerperas, gynecological patients in healthcare institutions, regardless of their organizational and legal forms.

The training of midwives is carried out in equipped classrooms by experienced teachers with the first and highest qualification categories.

The preclinical practice rooms meet the requirements of the State Educational Standards and have conditions that allow for high-quality training of midwives.

During the training, future midwives master the skills of medical and diagnostic care for pregnant women, women in labor and
postpartum women, gynecological patients as prescribed by a doctor, caring for a newborn and a puerperal, providing emergency pre-medical care for acute diseases and accidents according to the profile of activity, providing medical care to the population in extreme conditions of epidemics, in the focus of mass lesions. The midwife should be able to carry out patronage of pregnant women, puerperas at home, conduct preventive examinations of women in order to identify gynecological diseases.

An important role in preparing for professional activity is also played by the ability to organize sanitary and educational work, to educate the patient and his family about measures to prevent diseases and maintain health. A good knowledge of ethics and deontology, the psychology of professional communication, the theoretical foundations of legislation and law in healthcare will allow the future midwife / obstetrician to successfully self-realize in the process of professional activity.

Graduate Qualification - Nurse (Nurse Brother)

The graduate must be ready for professional activities in the prevention of diseases, participation in treatment, prevention and rehabilitation activities, the implementation of the stages of the nursing process in institutions health care of various forms of ownership, institutions of social protection of the population.

A nurse (nurse brother) in her professional activity should (should) be able to carry out the nursing process, prepare the patient for treatment and diagnostic measures and help the doctor in their implementation, carry out drug therapy as prescribed by the doctor, perform nursing manipulations, provide a safe environment for the patient and personnel, apply universal and standard precautions.

In the training of future nurses (nurse brothers), a serious place is occupied by the formation of professional skills related to the performance of nursing manipulations; these skills are taught by the most experienced teachers who own modern pedagogical technologies and are well aware of medical standards.

Under the guidance of teachers of clinical disciplines, future nurses (nurses) receive knowledge and skills in providing first aid, teaching the patient and his family about care and self-care. Knowledge of social and medical psychology will allow nurses (brothers) to properly build communication with patients and colleagues in the course of their professional activities.
