Biographies Characteristics Analysis

Themed days at the summer camp. Attention games

With "coworkers" and love for their leaders is often born on evening candles.

What is an evening candle

Rules for holding a spark

A candle in the camp is held according to certain rules, the observance of which will ensure the solution of all tasks. These rules are as follows:

  • the counselor must prepare the children for the upcoming candle;
  • all participants are located at the same level and at the same distance from the candle or the object that replaces it;
  • you can not interrupt the speaker;
  • discussion of a specific person is not allowed, only bad deeds are condemned;
  • you can not eat and drink during the fire;
  • conversations should be conducted calmly, raised tones should be avoided;
  • crossing the center of the circle is strictly prohibited;
  • everything said should remain between the participants of the candle;
  • candle collection should always be informal, without coercion;
  • the theme of the event should be relevant to its participants.

These are just the basic laws of holding candles in the camp. Each unit can follow its own traditions.

Organizing period candles

According to the temporal development of the change, the candles are divided into the lights of the organizational period, the main and the final.

The purpose of the candles of the organizational period is to get acquainted, adapt and encourage the guys to communicate and work together.

What to say on a candle in the camp? The counselor must carefully prepare for the first light. He should tell about the history of the camp, describe the area in which it is located, introduce children to local legends. The story should not be too overloaded with various information, it should be "diluted" with funny jokes, stories, personal memories.

Lights aimed at getting to know each other can take place in the following formats:

  • Relay story. An item is passed around in a circle (you can come up with a squad symbol and pass it on). Everyone in whose hands he ended up talks about himself.
  • Revelation envelope. The facilitator prepares an envelope with unusual questions. Each participant in the candle draws a question and answers it.
  • Box with your favorite things. Each member of the squad does not talk about himself, but about his favorite toy, talisman or object that characterizes him. You can demonstrate this thing on a spark.
  • Horoscope. All participants in the spark are divided into groups - signs of the zodiac. The counselor presents the characteristics of each of the presented signs and invites each group to make its "portrait" from the facts about each of its participants, confirming the veracity of the horoscope.
  • A memorable day. Each child tells about the brightest day of his life.

The lights of the organizational period may be characterized by low activity and tightness of children. The counselor should make every effort to make the environment friendly and relaxed, encouraging children to have a frank and emotional conversation.

Lights of the main period

In the midst of the shift, the main purpose of the lights is to analyze and evaluate the joint activities of the squad and each of its members.

Topics for candles in the camp in the middle of the shift depend on the tasks that the counselor sets for himself.

To smooth out conflicts in the process of holding a spark, themes can be as follows:

  • Letter to a friend. Participants write a "letter" to relatives or close people in which they share their experiences. Then all the guys read their messages.
  • I want to understand. This light allows for the possibility of an unsystematic arrangement of participants. Each child can approach another and ask a question beginning with "I want to understand....".
  • Conversation with a fellow traveler. Each participant in the flame tells the "fellow traveler" about camp events.
  • Circle of silence. All participants are located with their backs to the center of the circle. Only the speaker turns around. Gradually, all the guys speak out, being drawn into the discussion of the problematic issue.

Thematic candles in the camp can be held during the shift, depending on the events and logic.

Examples of themed lights can be:

  • a light about friendship and love;
  • a candle dedicated to a memorable date;
  • song candle;
  • a light on environmental topics, etc.

You can complement the flame with songs with a guitar, suitable in meaning to its theme.

Lights of the final period

The task of the lights of the final period is to sum up the results of the shift. Each child must analyze their own changes during their stay in the camp and see and appreciate the changes in others.

The format of the lights can be like this:

  • Chain. The first participant says a few phrases reflecting his impression of the shift, his neighbor continues the conversation and passes the word along the chain further.
  • The role of the squad. Each of the guys aloud thinks in turn over the question "What did the detachment become for me during the shift?".
  • stories about each other. The guys take turns expressing their opinions and impressions from communicating with one of the members of the detachment. Thus, everyone gets a collective opinion about himself.

Each of the candles in the camp should take place sincerely and be accompanied by joint actions, for example, end with a detachment song or joint extinguishing of the candle. Each of the participants should feel like a full-fledged member of the team, whose opinion is valued and respected.

Miss Camp

"Miss Camp" is one of the most favorite activities of children and counselors in the children's camp. This is a show that everyone will remember for a lifetime. Each contestant girl has a chance to get the title and crown of "Miss Camp" for the whole year. Preparation for the competition is an important component of the success of the event. In the children's camp, each contestant is helped by counselors, circle leaders and a large number of friends.

Dresses are sewn, an avant-garde costume is invented, a song, dance support is chosen, a speech is written, a worthy gentleman is chosen. Girls rehearse with a choreographer, consult with a costume designer, a vocal teacher. And when all the preparations in the children's camp are completed, the queens of the evening, to the loud applause of the fans, gracefully step onto a specially equipped podium with spotlights, a beautifully designed stage, smiling at the professional jury invited to the camp ... At this moment, everyone sees a charming young lady in a teenage girl, which is very important for young ladies.

Russian day

Have you ever been awakened to the accordion and children's laughter by cheerful guys and girls dressed in Russian folk costumes, dancing and playing all kinds of musical instruments such as rattles, spoons, whistles? Not? Then you don't know what it's like to wake up in a great mood in a children's camp! And if we add to all this: a fun fair with various competitions, pancakes with condensed milk and jam, a lot of goodies, jumping in an inflatable castle (trampoline), horseback riding, Russian folk games.

Plus a wonderful costumed Russian fairy tale, in which children and camp leaders take part. And at the end of the holiday disco! It's hard to believe, but it all happens in one day, on a Russian day, which is held by a children's camp!

Night

It's a shame, boring and unfair when your energy boils and you want to walk, jump and have fun all night long, but in the children's camp sounds "lights out". What a blessing that the Night exists! The time of the romance of the night, the beauty of starfall, the freshness of the wind and the mystery of the pink dawn. The camp falls asleep, and the detachment, dressed warmly and taking everything necessary, sets off into the night. Bonfire, potatoes baked on coals, bread fried on fire, songs with a guitar, horseback riding, scary stories and, finally, meeting the dawn...

Tourist relay race

In the middle of a normal sunny day in a children's camp, an alarm is suddenly heard. What is it? Fire? Disaster? War? Not! This is a tour! Everyone runs to the line, the squads are called, the number of children is counted and the relay race starts! And this means that the team from each detachment of the camp is put up for a serious battle of the most enduring, fast and dexterous.

Spectators are happy to support their own, and participants try not to lose face when overcoming an obstacle course: run along a log, climb over a rope ladder, crawl in a plastunka without hitting a low net, fly over a pit on a bungee, overcome a crossing, climb over a wall, jump on bumps. But that's not all, it is important for real heroes to complete important tasks: put up a tent for a while, kindle a fire, move the "wounded", assemble a machine gun.

On the day when a tourist relay race is held in the Orlyonok children's camp, dinner is prepared in the field army kitchen. After the competition, the children dine with appetite on food specially cooked on firewood. It creates a travel atmosphere. And at the end of this unusual day, a disco is held in the Orlyonok children's camp, where the winners are awarded!

Christmas story

Each of us, whether he is a child or an adult, is waiting for a fairy tale with a good ending on New Year's Eve. In our children's camp during the winter shift, a fairy tale becomes a reality. Children and adults become fairy-tale characters. Bright costumes, interesting stories, humor and mysticism - immerses everyone in a festive atmosphere and impressions just a few hours before the New Year.

In our fairy tale, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden with a magic bag of gifts for children on the morning of January 1 cannot be dispensed with. A lot of trouble haunts the main characters, but ... good always triumphs over evil. Every year in the children's camp there is a new fairy tale, new heroes, new scenery and new children's impressions.

Vozhatsky concert

The shift is coming to an end... And everyone sums up the unforgettable days of rest in the children's camp. They thank friends, the camp, their counselors. And the counselors sadly say goodbye to the children who have become family to them. All their skills and talents come in handy at the concert of counselors in order to express their emotions and feelings for the past shift in the children's camp. Counselors read poetry, show skits, dance, play musical instruments. There is a place for lyrics, humor, a splash of energy. And finally, a farewell song ... And here, wiping tears, we all understand that the shift was not in vain ... And at the end - a leader's light. All the counselors sit in a semicircle on the stage and say something very sad about the change. Like "It was so cool, oh, how you don't want to leave." At this time, the children begin to cry on the sly, the counselors too. And when everyone has finished speaking, the magic phrase sounds: "And now you can go up to your counselors and hug them."

Vozhatsky Impromptu.

The bottom line is that 3 days before him, the children begin to hand over notes with tasks for the counselors, and then the counselors toil with garbage given by the children on stage. Someone showed a blonde driving, someone danced a tectonist, someone rapped about how trees grow. And the children are preparing a performance of their counselors. Sometimes this is a parody, but more often - a story about how "our leaders are clear" and solemnly cutting out a hefty heart from a paper and a hug. All speeches of counselors are usually prepared and rehearsed in advance, at a quiet hour. There are numbers where a couple of people sing, and the rest go out to dance, having learned about the number right before going on stage. Impromptu rules.

Sympathy Day

Everyone, boys and girls, both small and big, is waiting for this day in the children's camp. On this day, there are many options to confess your love, express your sympathy, send congratulations. You can receive and send a valentine through the "angels" postal service with confessions and congratulations. You can call the local phone on the radio broadcast of the children's camp and order a song, send greetings, congratulations.

It is very nice to hear your voice on the radio for the whole camp. In addition, you can send SMS from your mobile phone, which are displayed in real time on the screen of TVs in each case. During all this time, both children and adults can come to the video room and record their congratulations. In the evening before the movie, the entire children's camp gathers for a film screening, before which everyone is looking forward to the video greetings on the big screen of the club.

Fair

By taking part in competitions and creative tasks, children earn "rubles" of the children's camp. Making money is fun, but how to spend it? Here you need a smart head and competent financial calculation, because you can order a song, ride a horse, buy sweets, souvenirs, toys.

Adventure Night

Mysterious events always attract people. Camp Adventure Night is a nighttime challenge trail with scary stories and characters for older kids and fairy tale characters for younger kids. On the way you can meet big wild animals, souls of pioneers, monsters, skeletons, zombies, crosses, ghosts, a headless horseman….

Having passed the path, everyone can get rid of their fears by "throwing" them into the cherished fire at the end of the path, become bolder and more self-confident, pull out a prediction for the near future from the organ grinder. The Night of Adventures in the children's camp ends with a magical fireworks display in commemoration of good.

Rope course

Very important for a good rest in the children's camp is a close-knit, friendly team that builds its relationship on the principles of respect, mutual assistance and support. It is on the development of these qualities that the "Rope Course" is aimed.

As a result of overcoming difficult stages, where each person is necessary, important and valuable, a responsible position towards each other and the team begins to form. The exercises are structured in such a way as to involve both active and insignificant members of the children's team, as a result of which each member of the group and the entire group as a whole participate in achieving the goals.

As a result, the detachment becomes cohesive, a friendly atmosphere is formed, mutual assistance skills are developed, communication barriers are overcome, and leaders are identified. Such an event is held by a children's camp every shift for groups of middle and older ages.

Merry Express

A fun relay race for the entire children's camp serves as a good start to each shift. The rules are simple, the children's group moves to the music, holding hands from station to station, completes tasks, answers questions. Already here the guys become more united, friendly and proactive. Upon passing each station, the detachment receives points, according to the results of the calculation of which the winning detachment is revealed.

Stolen afternoon tea

Older children can show their directorial and creative abilities in the children's camp in the preparation of the Sweet Tree event for the smallest. Kids come to the camp canteen for an afternoon snack, and then a bunch of pirates steal their legitimate sweets in front of their eyes.

Good fairy tale characters appear to help children, be it Puss in Boots, Malvina, Thumbelina, Fairy, who lead them in the footsteps of pirates, stopping for clues from Grandma Ezhka, the Devil, Koshchei, Robin Hood, Humanoids, Space Aliens and other heroes. Scenarios are always different, characters and tasks, respectively, too. Emotions overwhelm, as a result, the entire children's camp always remains satisfied: the younger guys found their afternoon snack, and the older ones are glad that they were not torn apart by hungry kids.

Day "The investigation was conducted ...".

On this day, according to legend, the director was stolen in the camp. Stole fabulous villains and hid. The whole day is devoted to various police procedures to find the boss. In the morning, portraits of fabulous villains were hung at the entrance with a request to remember these faces, as the police were looking for them. Then on the ruler it was announced that the chief was missing. Then the children draw these villains according to the squads according to the verbal description. It's kind of like a photobot.

Then they walk through the stations: Obstacle Course, Evidence, Vigilant Eye, Cryptographers. At the last station, they had to decipher where the director was hidden and run to free him. She can sit in another building with her hands tied. Liberators are rewarded with candy.

Benefits of Baba Yaga.

From each detachment advances B-I. They compete with each other.

Event "Hometown" (if all the children of the camp are from one small city).

Each squad receives a map of their city several times larger. There, the children must find the street where they live and color it. Learn its history, sights. Then, at the final event, the cards are hung out and it will be clear who lives where, on which streets. Next is the photo quiz "What? Where?", where you need to determine what it is and where it is from the pictures. It must be very difficult to find out, as some part of the building will be photographed.

Cities.

Each leader is given a sign with the name of the city and distributed throughout the camp (so that the children do not find it). The squads are given a list of cities, all in a different order. You need to find the right city, in the right sequence. It turns out very interesting: if the children found their last city, but they can’t find the first one in any way.

One hundred questions about my homeland.

Questions about your country are hung on the trees around the camp, you need to find them and answer them.

"Day Watch".

Complicated puzzles are being prepared in advance, where you need to know the place and the background of the place, and in general a lot of things to know :) At the same time, each squad is given 1 task. The task is to find a place, solve the riddle as quickly as possible and run to the headquarters to get a new, next task, but this is on condition that the previous one is completed correctly. And so it is necessary to collect all the tasks. If the squad is at a loss with the task, you can ask for a hint, but penalty minutes are added for this. Another condition is that the entire detachment must participate (with the exception of the sick).

Visiting

These cases occupy a special place in the structure of the organizational period of the camp shift and are designed to help the child feel a sense of belonging to a new community (detachment), to become an accomplice in its success, to experience this success as their own.

The teacher can help the child in this if he tries, when developing any case, to take into account the dominant goals of the children's activities as much as possible:

For myself for the group for the detachment

Usually, guest visits are impromptu game programs for two to four teams that have come to visit each other. Their meaning is as follows: “to see others” (and make sure that they are quite friendly and suitable for friends and playmates), “show yourself” (and make sure that we are not worse at all, we also know something and can even surprise) .

To successfully carry out this business, the counselor, firstly, needs to treat the material below (many have long been known) only as creative “raw materials”, and secondly, think in advance about how to properly distribute the creative load on the visit between children and counselors. We will be glad if the proposed ideas help to captivate the guys, and make your work joyful and not tiring for you.

So, when gathering for a visit, the detachments usually prepare a business card in any form (song, dance, poetry, etc.). In addition, etiquette does not advise visiting without a gift, so preparing and presenting a surprise for guests or hosts at a guest house will also become a tradition.

Thematic day is a program of meaningful activities for children and adults around a topic or problem.

Thematic days, as a rule, have a name, for example: Birthday Day, Mother's Day, "The Saved World Remembers ...", "His Majesty the Theater", etc.

Theme day for every day . The central affairs of the day are planned, for the organization of which one or another detachment or creative group (organizing committee) from among the guys interested in a particular topic is responsible. Such days can be both in the general camp and in the detachment plans. For example: "Sports Day" (competitions, tribune of awards). “Tourist Day” (hike, tourist relay race, Forest Fantasy competition), “Sentinel Day” (a detachment is on duty around the camp), “Memorial Day” (laying wreaths at the monument on June 22, line), “Merry Masters Day” (work in the workshops, competition-exhibition “With Your Own Hands”, awards, impromptu concert), “Baron Munchausen Day” (competition for the best story-fiction, task to find errors in the baron’s story, etc.), “Sherlock Holmes Day” (competitions, games for attention, observation), “River Day” (swimming competitions, games on the water), “Martial Law Day” (war game), “April Day” (laughter panorama), “Day of Dreamers” (fantasy projects competition), “Day music” (concert “Melody”), “Village Day” (meeting with rural children, labor affairs).

Sports stand at summer camp

It is no secret that the quality of any business far from least depends on how it is designed, that is, we are talking about such visual aids as posters, signs, stands, and so on. We offer you our own version of the design of a sports stand for the entire camp shift (see fig.).

The following headings can be presented at the stand:

Sportinformburo presents . This is a sports shift calendar - information about the sports activities of the squads, for example: "Runner's Day", "Funny Starts", "Sports Round the World", "Pioneer Ball Meeting", "Football Cup Draw", etc.

Sports stars of the season. Photographs (or plates with names and surnames) of children who have become prize-winners of sports competitions (indicating the squad and sport) are posted. It could be:

Pedestal of honor: interchangeable information on the results of the competitions held in the camp in various sports (individual, team championships).

The flag is raised in honor of: a stand with flags of different colors; with the emblems of certain competitions; a nameplate indicates in honor of whom the flag is raised.

Heroes of the "Day of Neptune": the names and surnames of the guys-winners of competitions or competitions on the water.

Chess Throne: A place of honor for information about the winners of a chess tournament.

Summer Games . The change may include the following four rounds:

. "Forest Stadium";

. "On a sunny meadow";

. "School of balls";

. "Blue Wave".

The names of the winners of each round are placed on the free petal of the flower (see fig.). In the middle of the flower, you can mark the names of those who won the overall results of the past games.

From start to finish. This is a kind of competition screen made in the form of a poster. Competitions can be held in various game areas. For example.

Summer camp games

brake-brake

Before the start of the game, everyone sitting in a circle reminds everyone of his name. Everyone is trying to remember each other. Then they all begin to clap their hands together, twice - in their hands, twice - on their knees, in rhythm. The pops shouldn't stop. The first player must name two names - his own and any one sitting in a circle - by clapping his hands. Hearing his name skips one or two intervals (by prior arrangement) and also calls his name and another for two claps of his hands. Since there can be several people with the same name in the circle, arrange for the players to look at the one whose name is called. The main thing is not to bring down the general rhythm of claps and not stop. Then you can complicate the game by eliminating the intervals. For example, one-two, Sveta-Lena, one-two, Lena-Misha, one-two, Misha-Olya, etc.

If one of the participants made a mistake and did not have time to enter on time, his name is replaced with a nickname. Usually the first gets the nickname "brake" or "teapot". Thus, now this person should not be called his name, but a nickname.

Squad traditions

Children of all ages like it very much if their squad is different from others. Some distinguishing signs, attributes, their own chants, their own, unlike anyone else's way of walking - all this the guys come up with pleasure, you just need to help them get started. It would be nice to come up with an interesting name for the squad on the first day. Proceed from the well-known line “whatever you call a yacht, so it will float”. The name of the detachment should be beautiful, speaking for itself. Based on the name, you can arrange a detachment place.

There are many forms of team work. One of them is the alternation of creative assignments (CHTP). With its help, you can diversify your daily life, organize a squad and make friends faster.

At the beginning of the shift, the squad is divided into permanent groups. This can be done through a draw or a game. For example, with the help of sociometry or the game “leader”. You have five leaders. You announce that you will now divide into five ship crews. The captains stand in a row and take turns picking a team. First boatswains, then pilots, radio operators, cooks, sailors. The last one is yoongi. (Variations: tree (root, trunk, leaves, flower)). It is better if not one person recruits a group, but the first one - the second, the second - the third, etc. In this case, you will take into account the desire of the children to be together, and the groups will most likely turn out to be equivalent. After dividing into groups, it is better to conduct a small KTD (creative work) with them or just give a small task. And only then to announce that in this composition the group will work the entire shift. Let the guys choose the name of the group, based on the name of the detachment, and the commander who will ensure that no one in the group is offended, so that everyone is included in the work. The commander is also responsible for the execution of the assignment.

Orders should be constant throughout the shift, but if one of them does not work, it should be replaced. Orders change in a circle every other day or every day, at your discretion.

We offer you the following instructions for the CTP

The hosts group. This group during the day keeps cleanliness in the building and around it, brings drinking water, pours soup at dinner, receives guests, if any.

Group "Comfort". During the period of its work, the “Uyut” group must make some contribution to the design of the detachment place, make it a little more comfortable, homely, more beautiful.

Surprise group. Already from the name it is clear that the detachment should not guess what this group is up to. During the day, or at the evening “light”, the guys in this group should surprise the squad with some pleasant surprise. A small creative performance, or gifts for everyone - whatever. Maybe someone has a birthday - the Surprise group should take care of the congratulations.

Group "Master". This group should replenish the detachment stock of souvenirs that you reward the guys in the course of detachment affairs. Let it be 3-4 crafts, but they must be well made.

Group "Chronicle". To keep a long memory of the change, you can keep a chronicle of the detachment. The group that is fulfilling this assignment today must describe yesterday, colorfully decorate the page of the chronicle.

Group "PE". Not all orders can be predicted. This group executes any task that arises during the day. Prepares firewood for the evening fire or draws a welcome poster for the parent's day - this should be invented by the counselor.

CHTP is a system of work. If you take this form, do not forget to set aside an hour and a half each day for group work, and at each morning briefing, remind the groups what task they are doing today. At the evening "light" the work of each group is necessarily discussed. Work should not be left unattended. If you decide to introduce competition in the squad, then the work on the PTP can be evaluated. But it’s worth competing if you can ultimately offer something to the guys, somehow reward them at the end of the shift. It is better if the guys work not for points, but out of interest.

Children in the camp. Age features.

The camp, as we have already said, is a completely different world - a world where the average age of residents is much less than 18 and the biggest difference in age is hardly 10 years old, but each age has its own characteristics that you need to know and take into account in your work. There are also games that are aimed at a particular age. This is completely justified on the one hand, but on the other hand, it should be borne in mind that any even the most adult game can be adapted for small ones. And children's games for the smallest pass on adults with a bang without any changes.

Small children (4-8 years old)

Children are just like us, just a little different.

In this phrase, we expressed the main, in our opinion, the idea of this section. Not quite clear? Let's try to explain then. A child, no matter how old he is, is a person. If you accept this statement, then the rest is much easier to understand. Accept children as they are. No need to treat them like adults, at best, a small child will simply not understand you. But to consider them aliens from another planet, probably, is also not worth it.

Children have a great need to learn and discover. A child (especially a small one) strives to perceive new ideas for him, he is pleased to respond to them, and you just need to present these ideas in a form that is understandable to him. Try to use language, ideas and images that a young child can understand. Games, fairy tales, stories - this is what you need.

It is very important in working and communicating with children to be sincere. The child instantly feels falseness and pretense. And of course, children must be loved, otherwise why work in the camp at all. You yourself are tormented, and you are tormenting your children.

And now our specific advice and wishes.

The fact that young children are hyperactive, you probably know without us, besides this, they are also extremely changeable. A child of 6-8 years old cannot do one thing for a long time, he needs to switch. Therefore, try to alternate calm and active games. If you have a big action planned for three hours, it is important that it is filled with as many different toys as possible.

Young children are very receptive and it is difficult for them, unlike, say, teenagers, to resist the opinion of an adult. That is why, the worst option is to force a child to do something (do you like it when you are forced? .. something!). We are closer to another method, which is called non-directive. It can be presented in three stages:

ADOPTION

TUNING

INTRODUCTION

No need to be afraid of terms, because in fact everything is simple. Acceptance means that it is important for the counselor to understand the inner state of the child. Find out: how does he feel? what is his mood? does he want to play, and if so, what? etc. Adjustment means only that the event should be carried out, taking into account the needs of the child at the moment. Let us explain the term management with an example. Suppose you need to prepare a bloody nosebleed for a detachment evening, and energy is pouring out of the children like a fountain. In this case, it is reasonable to start with some kind of game that makes it possible to dump the excess of this energy, for example, the Hippodrome. And then smoothly move on to the main event. Those. try to do something not OVER the children, but TOGETHER with them.

Children love all sorts of secrets, and one way to get their attention is to say something like: "Guys, I will tell you one secret, but no one but us should know it."

Children enjoy games where silence and noise alternate. Games where you can scream and squeal usually go with a bang.

Of the entire set of games that a counselor can know, educational games are of particular value. For young children, these are various games and contests where they can use all the senses, for example, the “Crunch” game, when the child is blindfolded and allowed to guess by the sound what other participants are eating right now: an apple, chips or cabbage.

The game will be more fun if it is associated with a melody and repeating text. In general, spend more often any game that combines movement, melody and rhythm.

It is very good if there is a certain talisman in the squad, it can be any fictional creature, or some kind of toy, preferably soft. With its help, the counselor can solve many problems: from how to put the child to bed, and ending with how to distract him from longing for his parents.

There are a lot of games that can be played with young children. We have cited only a few of the most characteristic, in our opinion. These games are good because they can be played with participants of different ages. In general, almost any game can be adapted for playing with children of any age, you just need to have a little desire and a drop of imagination. In some games, materials are a necessary factor, and sometimes the other way around, having some item at hand, you can come up with many new games. If you have, for example, balloons at hand, then you will always find something to do with small children.

Games for little ones

Hippodrome

Target:

Time: 5 minutes.

Number of participants: 10 or more.

Venue: any.

Participants either stand or sit in a circle.

Moderator: “Show me your hands and your knees. Does everyone have two knees? Then go ahead! We will now participate in the races at the hippodrome. Repeat after me".

Participants repeat the movements after the leader. "The horses went to the start (clap-clap-clap randomly on the knees). We stopped at the start. We wrinkled (clap softly). To the start, attention, march! The race has begun (clap quickly on the knees). Barriers (raise hands, as if hovering over barrier) Stone road (knocking on the chest with fists) Through the swamp (pulling our cheeks) Sand (three palms on palms).

Finishing line (very fast). Hooray!"

Kolobok

Target: unloading, energy output, "shout".

Time: 5-8 min.

Number of participants: 10 or more.

Location: any.

Everyone sits on chairs (stands in a circle). Chairs are placed around the room at a great distance from each other so that you can run around (if everyone is standing in a circle, then you can squat). Everyone gets the role of a “kolobok” and some other role (grandfather, woman, fox, wolf, bear, path) so that each participant has at least two roles. The host begins the tale: “Once upon a time there were grandfather and grandmother (those who are “grandfather” and “woman” should run around their chairs) in a small house. And somehow the grandfather (runs around) the grandmother (runs around) asked to bake a bun (everyone runs around their chairs) ... etc., the story comes with a gradual increase in the use of the word “bun” (“A fox kolobok and says: “ Gingerbread man, gingerbread man, gingerbread man, rosy side, I'll eat you, gingerbread man ...”) and at some point the guys will no longer have time to run - the game ends by itself.

(You can tell for a change the tale “Turnip”, “Teremok”)

All for sausage!

Target: unloading, release of energy, "shout" (it's good to spend it while waiting for the entrance to the dining room).

Time: 5-15 min.

Number of participants: 8 to 20.

Location: any (better on the street, on the grass).

The players are divided into two teams and stand opposite each other. Everyone gets numbers. (For example, each team has 5 people, which means there are two first numbers, two second numbers, etc.). The teams go five paces apart. In the middle, the counselor puts some object (this is a "sausage").

As soon as the team members hear their number, they must rush forward and grab the sausage.

"On the sausage ... the second!" The team that is faster gets a point.

Fleas

Target: development of attention and speed of reaction.

Time: 8-10 min.

Number of participants: 10 or more.

Location: any.

Everyone stands (or sits) in a circle. The facilitator shows two identical objects. They need to be passed around quickly. The one who has two of them at once flies out.

If there are more than 20 participants, you can let in three fleas.

Role play: “Theatre”

Target

Time: 8-10 min.

Number of participants: 6 to 20.

Location: any.

At the beginning of the game there is a distribution of roles. We name and distribute the roles (curtain, king, queen, maid of honor, maid of honor's dog, etc.) The host says: “Now we are putting on a performance. In order for the performance to be good, it must be rehearsed. The curtain went (whack-whack “curtain” runs across the stage in both directions). No not like this! Again!"

“Well, it's okay now. The king has gone."

“No, not like that. All over again.” Etc. Thus, the presenter pretends to be a very picky director who forces everything to be done again. You can repeat by changing the genre.

Role play: “Home”

Target: development of attention and speed of reaction, unloading.

Time: 8-10 min.

Number of participants: 6 to 20.

Location: any.

Host: "Let's build a house! The house has a roof, right? Who wants to be the roof? Who wants to be the walls (2 people)?

There is a window in the house, right? Who wants to be a window? And a fluffy cat sits at the window all the time ... Who will be the cat?

A large cactus stands alone on the window... Who will be the cactus?

The cat sits and sees that it suddenly began to rain. Who is our rain?

The cat came out on the porch ... Who is our porch? ... take a closer look. She saw a frog. Who is the frog? Then the wind came and chased away the rain, etc.” (the end of the fairy tale should be good).

There should be enough roles for everyone or almost everyone.

The game creates a cheerful, but not very excited mood, and is also an indicator of the situation in the group - people most often choose a role that is consonant with their internal state (hence, the roles should be of different types so that everyone can find a suitable one).

9-11 years old

This age is characterized by inner balance, cheerfulness, desire for vigorous activity. At this age, children easily come into contact with peers and adults.

They are very receptive to all sorts of rituals, they are fascinated by joint activities. But they definitely need success, encouragement; if they fail, they lose interest in activities.

For this age, role-playing games and competitions will be the most suitable.

12-15 years old

Somewhere around the age of 12-13, a child becomes a teenager, and this means a lot for himself and for the people around him. As a result of all physiological and emotional changes, the attention of a teenager turns to himself. He becomes more sensitive and shy. He gets upset over the slightest defect, exaggerating its importance (a girl with freckles may think that they disfigure her). A small feature of the structure of his body or the functioning of the body immediately convinces the boy that he is not like everyone else, that he is worse than others. A teenager changes so quickly that it is difficult for him to figure out what he is. His movements become clumsy because he is not yet able to control his new body as easily as before; likewise, at first he finds it difficult to control his new feelings. A teenager is easily offended by remarks. At some moments, he feels like an adult, wiser life experience and wants others to treat him accordingly. But the next minute he feels like a child and feels the need for protection and maternal affection.

A teenager will often respond to a kind word and an offer to help with ostentatious rudeness and coldness, but for a long time they will remember exactly how he was praised as the most responsible in the squad and it was he who was told that he could become a good athlete in the future.

Boys and especially girls fall in love with different people, most often literary and movie characters, and not necessarily of the opposite sex. For example, a boy may admire his teacher, a girl may fall madly in love with her teacher or literary heroine. This is because, for many years, girls and boys have kept to the society of members of their own sex, and considered members of the opposite sex to be their natural enemies. This barrier is being overcome slowly. When a teenager first dares to have tender thoughts about a being of the opposite sex, it usually turns out to be a movie star. After some time, boys and girls who associate together begin to dream of each other, but even then it will be a long time before the most shy find the courage to express their affection to the face.

You can help the children openly express their affection through the game. A great way is to hold a grandiose show "Love at first sight" at the end of the shift.

Another feature of this age is the formation of one's own point of view. A person at that age has an opinion about everything. He seeks to determine his place in the team, and is very worried about what others think of him.

Teenagers tend to form informal groups.

Whoever makes a mistake is out of the game."

You can complicate the task - take two numbers and say one word with one number, and another with another, if they met together, then both words (for example: (numbers 3 and 5): 1, 2, Karamba, 4, Kva, Karamba , 7, 8, Karamba, Kva, 11, Karamba, Karamba, 14, Karamba-Kva [the number 15 is divided into 3 and 5], ...)

He controls the "joystick", passing the first command through the rest of the participants. The goal of the first is to place your finger exactly on the object on the table.

The game can be played in the form of a competition. If you decide to make a competition out of this game, do not forget to define independent judges so that no one cheats.

First, there is a pause and complete inactivity of the guys, then one of the participants offers some kind of solution: for example, to pay off and then build a triangle by serial numbers, and then directs the actions.

The practice of this game shows that usually these functions are taken over by the leaders.

Number of participants: 6 to 20.

Age: from 10 years.

You can ask the same person twice so that people don't stop thinking.

big games

We call big games in which the whole camp or at least a few squads can participate. Here are actually the camp games (don't misunderstand). We also want to remind you that any TV game can be adapted to the conditions of the camp, and it goes well, since many of the guys already know the rules, and have long wanted to participate. We mean such games as "Two Pianos" (in the camp, a black and white piano will replace two blankets, and you can sing without accompaniment), "Field of Miracles", "What? Where? When?" (only the questions need to be simpler - now special collections of simple questions have been published for fans of this game and children), "Love at First Sight", "The Seventh Sense", "Star Hour", "Leonid Yarmolnik's Gold Rush", etc. etc. The main thing is to highlight the main idea of a particular game and not get hung up on technical difficulties.

treasure hunt

Target: strengthening the physical health of children, the development of intelligence, the ability to work together.

Time: 60 min.

Number of participants: 8 to 40.

Age: from 7 years.

Location: the entire territory of the camp.

Materials: several sheets of paper, one prize.

Game preparation: the counselor writes notes, where veiled (in verse, allegorically, encrypted) describes the places of the camp. Each new note sends participants to the next one. Then the counselor must hide these notes in certain places in the camp. Now you can start the game.

Each team receives the first message and sets off on a signal. Each team runs along its own route, but there is only one note with the “treasure”. It is necessary to go through all the stages. At the end, the fastest team finds the final note with the inscription “Treasure” and goes to the counselor for the prize. The optimal number of teams: 3-4.

Excursion around the camp, the building and its environs.

Target: introduce children to their territory so that they know the location of all objects that are important to them.

Time: 60 min.

Number of participants: 8 to 40.

Age: from 7 years old.

Location: the entire territory of the camp.

A tour of the camp is held at the very beginning of the shift. It will be much more interesting for the children if the counselors organize a fun theatrical performance full of secrets and interesting meetings from this walk. The legend must be thought out in advance (some New Year's option is well suited). Children are divided into groups according to the number of instructors. All other adults can be made into goblins, ghosts, Santa Clauses, etc.

Newspaper.

Target: entertain and entertain children, teach them to work as a team on their own (without an instructor).

Time: 3 hours.

Location: the entire territory of the camp.

materials: a lot of paper, drawing paper, felt-tip pens, paints, adhesive tape, glue, brushes, pens, pencils, old newspapers, etc.

People: The chief secretary of the headquarters, "interesting people" (there should be at least 3 people, if there are few adults, older guys can be involved in this), at least one free instructor who passes from time to time in groups and monitors the situation.

The game is aimed at all children of the camp at once. Each unit is invited to create a newspaper.

Beginning of the game: Everyone gathers in the common room. They are divided into groups (if there are no clearly defined patrols or detachments). By lot, they receive the subject of their future newspaper.

Rules of the game: Chief secretary of the headquarters: "Now you will have exactly 2 hours at your disposal to create your newspaper. Your task is to make your newspaper the best. In 10 minutes this room will become the information headquarters of the game. Here you can learn about where and when meetings will take place with interesting people whom you can interview. To work, you will now need to take all the materials for the preparation of the newspaper, settle down at your workplace, select journalists, proofreaders, scribes, editor, etc. Not Forget about the fact that in order for a newspaper to be read, an advertising campaign must also be carried out.So, now we ask the groups to inform the chief secretary of the headquarters of the topics of your newspapers and go.Time has come!

For the first hour or a half of the game, they have to send journalists to different parts of the camp to meet with various interesting people (interesting people are portrayed by counselors and other adults). Information about meetings appears at the headquarters and should be replaced literally every 10-15 minutes.

The second hour of the game is allocated purely for the design and writing of the text of the newspaper. During the game, children conduct an advertising campaign, reconnaissance trips to other editorial offices, etc.

The deadline for the end of the game must be set clearly and precisely. By this time, all newspapers should be hanging in the common room. If the guys do not have time, they are not allowed to hang up the newspaper (usually this does not happen).

Break. Everyone reads the opponents' newspapers.

An independent commission awards prizes in several categories.

Gnomes

Target: creation of a friendly atmosphere in the children's team.

Time: from one evening to 3 days.

Age: from 8 years.

Location: the entire territory of the camp.

Beginning of the game: everyone writes their first and last name on a piece of paper, rolls it into a tube and lowers it into a hat. The instructor must also participate in the game in order to whip up the imagination of the guys. They can play in their circle or with children together.

After the hat is filled, the notes in it are mixed, and everyone takes out a note from it. The person whose name is written in the note becomes the Giant, in order to draw it out. And he becomes a good Dwarf for him.

During the game, the dwarf must make good surprises to his giant, but so that he cannot guess who he is.

The game goes in parallel with other events, but you need to remember about it and tell the whole camp about the funniest tricks of the Dwarves (well, for example, they put things in order in the Giant's room, hung a dress on a chandelier, transferred a bouquet of flowers through third parties, etc.)

At the end of the game, a ball is arranged, at which each Dwarf gives his Giant a gift personally. This ball smoothly turns into a disco.

Circles

Target: actively relax, repeat the acquired knowledge.

Time: 3 hours.

Number of participants: multiple squads.

Age: from 10 years.

Location: Big hall.

People: leading. The facilitator should have a list of questions (with a margin), rules, the location of the units in the hall, the location of the chairs, prizes, games and chips. A bookkeeper who watches the game very carefully and does not allow injustice. He must have a scoreboard with the running score and he must also record the situation for himself after each round. Musical breaks should be thought out. Accordingly, there is a musical technique. A support group won't hurt. All other leaders should sit with their troops and start them.

Before starting the game:

All units are located in a circle in strictly defined places. Circles are drawn in the center according to the number of units. Each group is given pieces of paper and pens. The guys choose a scribe, he writes in advance on each sheet the name of his detachment. Each circle has a number. Everyone got ready. Begin!

Start and progress of the game:

The facilitator asks questions (most often these are questions about what was discussed in the previous days of the camp). The guys must quickly and legibly write the answer, and the fastest of the squad runs to the first circle. If the place in the first circle is occupied, he gets up in the second and raises his hand. If the second one is busy, the third one, and so on. Assistants take the answers and help the bookkeeper to sum up. Questions can be from 10 to...

The game is usually played in the late afternoon, but not very late. In order for this game to go well, you need a groovy host who reacts to the situation, good musical breaks, groovy leaders in the squads and a fair debriefing. Yes, most importantly - a lot of prizes! Almost everyone!

Station game.

A special place among the big games is played by stations. It stands out for its versatility. Its appearance can be completely changed by changing the subject and form of submission. But in order for this game to be successful, you need to determine the main points of its conduct: Purpose. Subject. Place. Materials. Implementation methods. Time.

Target.

1. entertain,

2. teach,

3. create a mood,

4. make you think

5. soothe.

Subject.

Find out for yourself here.

Place.

The location should be relevant to the theme and purpose.

Materials.

The main and, perhaps, the only thing: the materials must be thought out in advance and must be.

Implementation methods.

The counselor himself does not participate in the game, he only organizes the children.

There should be a plan for the movement of groups in time. This plan must be strictly observed, otherwise the movement of all will be disrupted.

One or two leaders should make sure that no one gets lost, so that each group knows where to go.

If the stations are far from each other, you need to think about what to do on the way.

There are two options for playing the game across stations: counselors go to squads, squads go to squad places to visit other squads.

Chapter 3

We know your lambs - let the three of us, and the wolf will be eaten.

R. Rollan. "Cola Breugnon"

As a rule, the first day in the camp sets the tone for the rest of the shift. This happens not only because you have the opportunity to get to know your wards, but also because the wards, in turn, form a certain opinion about you and begin to roughly understand what style of behavior they should choose.

What style of behavior to choose as a counselor

Before talking about the behavioral styles of the counselor, perhaps we should discuss another very important point. Namely, the fact that the counselor should not act alone. Different camps have their own rules regarding the number of counselors per unit. However, in any case, there will be at least two and no more than five people on the detachment. In a word, you will have to somehow share your powers with someone else. And in order to create a completely tolerable atmosphere in the detachment, the leaders must feel and, accordingly, act as one team whose efforts are aimed at achieving a very specific goal.

The correctness of this observation has been repeatedly confirmed by me in practice. Often I came across the fact that the leaders of one detachment could not establish relationships with each other. As a result, they spent a lot of time sorting things out and listing mutual grievances. The detachment at this time remained practically ownerless. He either simply existed on his own, or was divided into two camps and enthusiastically participated in the leaders' strife. Of course, it is better not to allow such a thing.

Unfortunately, this cup did not pass me either, however, the counselors and I tried to do without loud showdowns. In one of the shifts in our detachment, the leader changed. Everything would be fine, if not for one circumstance - she singled out several people in the detachment and devoted all her time and attention to them, while other children were ignored at best. In a word, as you probably already guessed, we had a problem of pets in our detachment. I was very hurt by this injustice, because I am of the opinion that children should be in an equal position from the very beginning. This is the only way to create a normal team, where the respect of peers and adults is earned by quite real actions.

The other counselors and I also tried to talk calmly with the newcomer. However, nothing has changed. So we left her alone and redoubled our attention to neglected children. As a result, she punished herself. We suddenly began to notice that the newcomer's favorites were increasingly leaving her alone and joining the rest of the squad. Subsequently, it turned out that the children were simply tired of her constant complaints about other counselors, that is, about us. In addition, games and entertainment in a large company are much more interesting than washing bones for everyone.

In other words, even if there are any disagreements between the leaders in the detachment, I advise you to tighten up and put common interests a little higher than personal ones, and at least for the duration of the shift, put aside your claims to each other. Only mutual support and endurance will allow you to get out of various difficult situations with honor, which are so common in a health camp.

Even before the children arrive, you and your partners should agree on three things:

- Firstly, all your requirements for children must be the same. In other words, the wards must be clearly aware that if one of the leaders does not allow something to be done, for example, to leave the territory of the camp unaccompanied by adults, then others will certainly support him. If one of the leaders forbids something, and the other allows the same thing, there can be no talk of any discipline in the detachment;

- secondly, if one of the leaders punishes one of the wards, he must also remove the punishment. Simply put, leaders should also be in the squad on an equal footing so that there are no chiefs and subordinates among them. This will allow the children to avoid dividing the counselors into "evil" and "good";

- thirdly, counselors should never sort things out in front of children, moreover, complain to the latter about other counselors or management. In the latter case, the children are simply consciously drawn into the leader's strife. This greatly undermines the authority, and first of all of the unlucky educator himself. That is why try to postpone your disputes for a while after lights out or for a shift change.

In the process of work, avoid thinking that you are constantly overworking, and your partner is only resting. Such resentment not only corrodes from the inside, but also completely disorganizes. Do not forget that not everyone is able to immediately fit into the bustling rhythm of camp life. Everyone should do their job to the best of their ability. Moreover, the children themselves will surely reward the most active and interesting counselor with their sincere trust, as well as gratitude and friendship. It can be very nice when the kids bring flowers almost every day, unless, of course, they are from a local flower bed, give their drawings and crafts, or even dedicate poems.

Sometimes the style of behavior the counselor chooses in relation to his children also determines how fun and fruitful the interaction between children and adults will be. Many counselors in the process of working with their wards often confuse two concepts: "strictness" and "tyranny". Of course, this is typical for adherents of an authoritarian style of behavior. Sometimes we adults underestimate children, considering them weak and stupid. Nothing like that, the guys are an exact reflection of adults. Among them there are smart and not very smart, strong and weak, self-confident and shy.

If you want to find a common language with your children, then first of all try to get rid of the feeling that you are somehow above your wards. In my practice, it often happened that in the event of extreme situations, it was the guys who suggested the only right decision. Here, of course, the fact that children in most cases are still deprived of all sorts of attitudes and lessons learned from past sad experiences, in comparison with adults, plays a role. Therefore, it is much easier for them to look at this or that situation, evaluating it from their own side, and find an original and unexpected solution to the whole problem. So let's give them that opportunity. Moreover, in this case you yourself will not be at a loss, because you will be able to some extent to see the world in a different light, with children's eyes.

The authoritarian style of behavior, like the rest, has its pros and cons. So, counselors who are used to giving orders will have much less problems with discipline than other representatives of the same specialty. With a clear schedule and requirements that do not allow even minimal objections from the wards, by the end of the shift, the child gets used to acting clearly on command. He does not discuss the orders of the counselors-chiefs (namely, bosses, not friends), fearing punishment. As a rule, those detachments that use a similar style of communication between a leader and wards always arrive on time for various camp events, actively participate in various competitions and are free from problems related to discipline. Everything seems to be fine, however, even here the counselors face their own difficulties.

In the first place, you may encounter stubborn resistance from children, and it will be especially stubborn if it is adolescence. And this is quite justified. Few people, including the guys, will like to execute only other people's orders, for which there is no proper justification, explanation of the purpose and objectives of this or that requirement. Your unwillingness to meet the needs of the wards can lead to real hostilities. So, children will do everything in defiance of you, trying to prove their personal right to make certain decisions.

If, due to the accumulated experience and personal energy, you still have enough strength to suppress an open source of indignation and discontent, you will still hear a menacing whisper behind your back all the time. Of course, there can be no talk of any informal relations with children in this case. All the time you will be forced to be on martial law. It should also be mentioned that many of today's children were brought up in relative freedom, so they will fight with you to the last.

If you are a supporter of an authoritarian style of behavior, then get ready for the fact that a certain distance will always remain between you and your children, or rather, a wall of some kind of alienation. In other words, you will unwittingly be with the children on opposite sides of the barricades for the entire shift. The children are unlikely in this case to trust you and open their souls. That is why it is quite possible that you will be the last to learn about all the internal processes taking place in the detachment, unless, of course, you have your spies. However, we will discuss the latter separately later.

Believe me, this state of affairs only interferes with the work of the counselor. It deprives both adults and children of joyful and fruitful communication, the desire to understand and help each other. In addition, it gives rise to isolation and distrust, on the one hand, and a formal attitude to the matter, on the other.

When choosing an authoritarian style of communication with wards, do not be surprised that you will not have any sleep or rest for the entire shift. This is primarily due to the fact that you will also have to come up with all the skits, contests and numbers for participating in detachment and general camp events on your own. The guys will not offer you anything of their own, fearing not to please and fall out of favor. In addition, managing people, even if they are only children, built on a command-and-order tone, is unlikely to arouse in them enthusiasm and a desire to do their job efficiently. Therefore, do not expect altruism and maximum composure from your wards. In a word, no matter how hard you try or punish your children, they will all not do as well as they could. This will also apply to cleaning the territory, and shifts, and performing on stage.

The next thing we will talk about is the leader's liberal style of behavior when interacting with children. Among the advantages of this style, one can single out the fact that all the efforts of the counselors will be directed primarily to providing children with a normal rest in accordance with the desires of the latter. In other words, you will rather be guided not by any medical and pedagogical recommendations, but by the opinion of the wards. You will do everything to ensure that the children are satisfied, even if it goes against the general requirements of the camp. Of course, such an approach to business can give certain positive results. Children will no longer feel under the pressure of all kinds of demands and pressure from adults. Although, perhaps, you should be warned, since often unlimited freedom can give a serious bias towards anarchist sentiments.

Only a strong, completely self-confident and creatively gifted person can withstand such a style of behavior towards children with dignity. If you trust yourself one hundred percent and know that you can acquire unshakable authority from your wards, and you also have the endurance, strength and patience to captivate the guys with you, then you have nothing to worry about. You can always imperceptibly, and sometimes unconsciously, influence them, where by personal example, and where with just one glance.

Unfortunately, among the leaders, it is not so often that there are people who have all the qualities of a true leader. As soon as the children feel a weakness in the counselor, and even see the opportunity to avoid the execution of some interesting, but difficult task, they will certainly try to use it. And this is not only true for children. A person, as a rule, is arranged in such a way that he always strives to live with the maximum economy of his vital energy. If the children, on top of everything else, are not burdened with a developed sense of responsibility and they are not ashamed of their deliberately wrong actions in front of any authoritative person, they will most likely create an anarchist party in the detachment rather than begin to correct their mistakes.

Counselor's advice

Never demand from the guys what you yourself cannot or do not want to do. Otherwise, you may be accused of hypocrisy or abuse of authority, which will undoubtedly leave an unfavorable imprint not only on your relationship with children, but also with their parents.

With this style of communication with children, you should take into account that in most cases they still need some control from adults. The absence of the latter greatly relaxes the guys, and the quality of the assignments makes it meaningless. Why try, because no one will check anyway. Unfortunately, this feature is also characteristic of adults, and this only once again confirms the fact that the guys are our complete reflection.

I was convinced from personal experience that it is completely pointless to explain, for example, to a ten-year-old boy that wet cleaning of the room is necessary first of all for himself and his neighbors. At the end of the conversation, he will definitely ask: “Will you check?” With an affirmative answer, there is no doubt that he will run out of strength - if only everything sparkled. In addition, showing the results of his work, he will deservedly expect praise.

If you, relying on his conscience, say that you will not check it, but after some time you will come to see how the work is progressing, you will surely find that the latter has not even begun. To all your claims, the ward will make surprised eyes and say: “You said you wouldn’t check?” Of course, in the older units, the people are distinguished by greater responsibility.

Often, liberal counselors completely shift the preparation for any detachment or general camp events to the children. Very often, everything ends with the fact that such a detachment either disrupts this or that competition due to the fact that it is not ready for it, or in most cases acts as a loser. The thing is that children, when preparing for a particular event, still need advice and tips from an adult. No, not in pressure and not in the categorical “Do exactly as I said”, but in the recommendations.

The democratic style of managing children is probably the most acceptable for a counselor. In this case, an asset is often chosen in the detachment that helps adults organize everyone else. Any child can fearlessly turn to the counselor for help, without fear of misunderstanding. In such detachments there is a friendly atmosphere of cooperation. Counselors do not hesitate to ask the children for advice and are always ready to support them themselves.

From my experience of working with children in health camps, I was convinced that the counselor must be a very flexible person. He needs to be able to quickly rebuild and adapt to new conditions. It should be freed from various kinds of clichés and negative attitudes. It is this circumstance that will allow him, depending on the situation, to make the right decisions, using elements of various styles of communication with his wards. So, for example, in one day you can act in a detachment in completely different roles: a fair judge, sorting out a quarrel with one of the wards, suspended when the matter is not so difficult that your participation is required, a tyrant when it comes to diving in a prohibited place, etc. Only a good attitude towards the children, intuition and your personal pedagogical experience will tell you the right decision.

First group meeting

A good start to the first detachment meeting can be a tour of the territory of the health camp. This is especially necessary if most of your squad is here for the first time. Be sure to show the wards where the showers, toilet, first-aid post, dining room are located, i.e., what can be useful to them immediately after arrival. On the way, look into the library, the games room and the room where various circles and sections are located.

Make sure the tour is fun for the kids. Therefore, it will not hurt you to remember some funny cases from your practice as a counselor. In addition, you can arrange with the leaders of the circles operating in the camp so that they also talk a little about what the boys and girls can learn during the shift. Be sure to show the children the venues for various camp events, for example, a stadium, an assembly hall, a dance floor. Along the way, be sure to explain to them why their presence outside the camp is undesirable.

At the general meeting, you can familiarize the guys with the daily routine, if, of course, you have not done this before, talk about the specifics and purpose of the compulsory events held in the camp. So, for example, if your camp is considered not just a health camp, but a treatment-and-prophylactic one, then surely time is allotted in the daily routine for various medical procedures, which, according to the appointments, should be attended by everyone who rests in the camp. Try to convince the wards that a certain daily routine has been drawn up to ensure the most exciting and useful rest for them, that an early rise and a wake-up call were invented not to infringe on their interests in any way, but for their own health and well-being.

The first detachment meeting is a wonderful opportunity to get to know all the wards better. Ask them what schools and grades they go to, what they like and dislike about school. Ask how they would like to spend their holidays, what they would like to do in the camp, what interests them, what needs to be done to make the shift interesting and exciting. Perhaps one of the wards himself will offer to organize some kind of competition or entertainment, and you will successfully implement them in the detachment.

It is at the first detachment meeting that it is necessary to develop a schedule of duty around the room, familiarize everyone with the basic rules for staying on the territory of the health camp, and explain to the children why the presence of various perishable products in their bedside tables is undesirable.

After organizational issues, you can hold a series of games. Play with names again, which will help both you and the children to learn more firmly who is called. To set up children in a friendly way to each other, try playing another interesting game - “Compliments”. We begin to relate to each other in a completely different way when we see some attractive features in the other. From the first day, start teaching your wards to notice only the good in others.

To play the game, you need to seat the guys in a circle. Give one of the participants a ball or some small soft toy that is easy to throw and easy to catch. The player throws the ball to one of the guys and tells him some compliment about his appearance, intellectual or spiritual development, ability to do something.

Warn the guys that compliments must be sincere. The participant who received the ball, in turn, throws it to one of the players and compliments him. Make sure all players get their compliments. To do this, you yourself need to take part in the game and in the case when one of the players is ignored by everyone, give him a well-deserved praise. I think this game should be repeated several times during the shift. Often it relieves tension in the detachment, makes you look at this or that person from a completely different perspective.

You can finish the detachment meeting by wishing the children to spend the next 3-4 weeks more exciting and interesting. Give them time to unpack their belongings, settle into squads, get to know their roommates a little better. Then act in accordance with the regime of the day and the schedule drawn up earlier.

dating evening

This celebration belongs to the general camp events, however, I think it should be discussed separately, especially since it is often combined with the opening of the camp. This is the first solemn event, except for the race, which the child gets into the camp. Therefore, it is it that gives the wards very vivid memories of their stay in a health camp. Dating evening sets the tone for the entire future shift. If the holiday is fun and fervent, then there is a high probability that the whole shift will be permeated with the same atmosphere. In addition, children get the opportunity to continue their acquaintance with the camp staff.

By this day, as a rule, the leaders of each detachment prepare one concert number. It is on this evening that they will be able to show their wards how artistic, witty and unique they are. Simply put, it is advisable to come up with and rehearse some number in advance together with other counselors. It can be a song, dance, skit or pantomime. A notebook always helped me at these moments, where during the year I wrote down the most interesting scenes, pieces or texts when watching the performances of the KVN, Full House, Gorodok teams and other humorous programs that can now be seen in great abundance on various TV channels. Based on the jokes expressed, you can create magnificent concert numbers, thematically close to the rest in the camp.

Sometimes even an ordinary Russian folk song, processed by counselors, can look quite comical. So, at one of these celebrations, I saw the following picture.

Four young counselors appeared on the stage, dressed as Russian beauties: in long dresses, with scarves on their heads and catchy make-up on their faces. They perfectly played with their seating on chairs, especially since there were only three of them. It's probably not worth telling how hard it was for them to keep a focused expression on their faces during a small scuffle, while the entire camp simply groaned with laughter.

Finally, seated dignifiedly, these "beauties", a little shabby in the struggle for a place, began to sing a song in thin voices. The composition was performed as follows. The verse was sung in turn by one of the participants, and the chorus was picked up by all four "singers". If you want to repeat this number, you can choose any suitable Russian folk song. Here everything depends rather not on words, but on performance, on how artistic and relaxed you are. At that time, the participants took as a basis the well-known song "Mom told me ...". I'll remind you of her first verse and chorus:

Mom told me about deceitful love,

Yes, I wasted my words.

I did not listen to her, I plugged my ears.

Oh, mother, mother, how right you were.

Chorus: Oh, mommy, I rode on a sled with the wrong one.

Oh, why did I sit with Kolenka outside the outskirts,

Oh, mother, why?

You can also perfectly dramatize a nursery rhyme. So, once the counselors and I quite successfully beat the poem “How an old man sold a cow in the market” translated by Mikhalkov. Tellingly, the most difficult thing was to play a cow. At first we wanted to come up with some kind of cow costume and make a mask, but at the last moment we decided that we should have a cow with a human face. This made it much easier for us to show how the animal feels when it is being sold.

At first, our "cow" stood with a doomed look, periodically tediously moo-tormenting at the words of the old man. When a boy starts trading, everything changes dramatically, the cow transforms before our eyes. As the volunteer praises her, the cow takes on a proud posture, tosses her head, and her “mu” now sounds much more confident than before. No less striking are the changes taking place in the old man himself. At first he gives the impression of a loser, the owner of a useless and half-dead animal. At the end of the work, the old man suddenly feels like the owner of a real treasure in the face of his cow. You can also put this poem with children, but this will require some patience and rehearsal from you. Just in case, I will give you the text of the poem itself:

An old man was selling a cow in the market,

Although many needed a cow,

But apparently people didn't like her.

“Master, will you sell us your cow?”

- Selling. I've been standing with her in the market since morning!

“Are you asking too much, old man, for her?”

- Yes, where to make money! Get yours back!

- It hurts your cow is thin!

- Sick, damn it. Direct trouble!

- Yes, we have not seen milk yet ...

All day long the old man traded in the market,

No one gave a price for a cow.

One boy took pity on the old man:

- Dad, your hand is not easy!

I will stand near your cow,

Perhaps we will sell your cattle.

There is a buyer with a tight wallet,

And now he is bargaining with the boy:

- Will you sell the cow?

- Buy if you're rich.

Cow, look, not a cow, but a treasure!

- Is it so! Looks too skinny!

“Not very fat, but good milk yield.

How much milk does a cow give?

- If you don’t milk it in a day, your hand will get tired.

The old man looked at his cow:

- Why am I, Burenka, selling you?

I will not sell my cow to anyone -

You need such a beast!

In addition to the speech by the leaders, this evening should have time for the children to get to know the rest of the camp staff. So, in poetic form, you can introduce the children to those with whom they will have to face and interact more than once during the shift. Unusual and amusing performances in the form of reworked popular pop songs. Next, I present to you a few fragments that sounded during one of the shifts at the evening of acquaintances at the Lesnoy health camp:

Chefs performance

Here's someone coming down the hill

Probably our cook is coming.

She is wearing a white robe and cap,

She drives us all crazy.

Could you, dear ones,

Give more portions?

Not something from neighboring gardens

Let's steal potatoes.

Presentation of physical education teachers

For a real athlete

Gotta get up early in the morning

Drive out the camp for charging

And shout commands.

If you didn't wake up

That will wake up the fizruki,

Will bring you to your senses quickly

If you get up on the wrong foot.

Oh, the water is warm and slightly green,

It is heavily polluted by ten detachments.

Oh, even tan, white panamas,

Walking around the pool

Our Valera with Vanechka.

Representation of policemen

The sun will touch the edge of the earth,

And the windows will burst into crimson fire.

And the cops will come out with a gun to hunt,

In an ambush, one pretends to be a stump.

The fist itches and itches,

He is used to being in combat.

And he waits for the counselors to start their game.

Leaning forward with fatigue

Cops, they need to sleep

But the leader is chasing

How can they catch him?

DJ performance

Oh, Dima, Lech,

We are very poor without you.

And although the equipment

Doesn't want to serve you

Let the microphones whistle

And they pull all mafons.

And yet we guys

We cannot live without you.

Presentation Methodist

Yulia Yurievna, my dear,

Everything does not sit still.

He goes to planning meetings early,

At night, children's sleep keeps.

If necessary, then he will dance

Or surprise with a song

Well, if something goes wrong,

It will scream angrily.

There, there...

When the name of the represented person does not sound in the verse itself, it must be called before the performance or after the performance of the song. Still, this does not guarantee that children will remember all the names. It is very difficult for them to accept so many new people at once. That is why, when returning to the detachment, be sure to repeat who and what their name is. In addition, it is very useful to hang a list of health camp personnel in the detachment. Then your wards will be able to address any adult without hesitation, and you will not confuse the name, for example, of the head of the camp with the name of the carpenter.

As you may have guessed, it depends only on your creativity and imagination how interesting and exciting the holiday will turn out. Feel free to offer something of your own, perhaps the whole success of this holiday will depend on this. Moreover, by showing your wards how free you are on the stage, how witty and inventive you are, you will only significantly simplify the task of gaining authority from the guys, because it all starts with the sympathy of the wards for you.
