N. Hall has developed a test that determines the ability to control emotions and their application in life. At the same time, the technique takes into account the attitude towards oneself and others, the ability to make friends, communicate, and feel harmonious in the company of people.

Hall confidently states that emotional intelligence is amenable to improvement. This is its difference from mental development. Emotional development is responsible for the well-being of a person, his future, harmonious relations with others more than mental abilities.

The test that Hall developed is statements that are or are not related to a person's life. By marking the correct answer, you will calculate the points and determine the level of emotional development so that you know what to work on.

Level of development according to the Goleman test

Goleman believes that emotional intelligence is the ability to use people's emotions and one's own to achieve goals. The Goleman test is based on checking the presence of such qualities in a person:

  • Self-awareness is the awareness of one's own feelings and the causes that cause them.
  • Self-control is the ability to control emotions and not allow their power.
  • Empathy is the ability to sincerely empathize with a loved one and a distant acquaintance.
  • The ability to build harmonious relationships.

The test consists of 10 questions that determine the degree of emotionality. It is mainly used to determine the level of emotionality needed for a business.

Level of development according to the Lucin test

Lusin's method for determining intelligence is based on an independent analysis of emotions. A high level on the Lucin test implies:

  • Determination of the presence or absence of emotions in oneself and another person.
  • The ability to determine how a person is feeling.
  • The ability to recognize the causes that contributed to the emergence of emotions.
