Olga Pigareva

I am the winner of the All-Russian competition of scholarships and grants named after Lev Semenovich Vygotsky.

"Childhood is that great time of life when the foundation is laid for the whole future of a moral person. (Nikolai Vasilyevich Shelgunov)

We live in the 21st century. The world around us is constantly changing. With the modern world, our education system is also changing. This is the requirement of the time. One of the main principles of the new educational standards is the principle of preserving the uniqueness and intrinsic value of preschool childhood as an important stage in the overall level of human development. What is "childhood"? What is its uniqueness and intrinsic value? Why is this stage so important for every person? Why was it so carefully studied and studied by the best representatives of science and culture? They write about it and talk about it. Songs and poems are written about him. He is mourned and admired. For some, childhood is associated with carelessness, carelessness, games, pranks, while for others, childhood is a time of active development, change and learning. In fact, childhood is a period of paradoxes and contradictions, without which there can be no development.

To understand these issues, first you need to define the concept of "childhood". In the “Explanatory Dictionary of the Russian Language” by S. I. Ozhegov and N. Yu. Shvedova, a definition is given: “Childhood is early, before adolescence, age, a period of life at that age.” So, childhood is the beginning, the first stage of a person’s life path. The remarkable Polish doctor and teacher Janusz Korczak considered childhood to be the foundation of life: "without a full-fledged, filled childhood, the subsequent life will be flawed." It was about this time that the outstanding Russian teacher K. D. Ushinsky wrote: “The character of a person is most of all formed in the first years of his life, and what lies in this character in the first years lies firmly, becomes the second nature of a person ... Everything that is assimilated subsequently, never has the depth that everything learned in childhood differs. Doctor of Psychology V.I. everything around him." I fully agree with these statements. I see their confirmation in my childhood, which was filled with reading books together, folk songs, making crafts, home concerts, going to the skating rink and fishing, going to the forest for mushrooms and berries. I was lucky - my father was a teacher, as they say, from God. He worked at a vocational school as an educator. He was very kind and loving. The teenagers adored him. And he devoted a lot of time to us, his children. It was my first ideal example of a teacher. Yes, the basis of personality is formed in childhood, before school. After all, it is at this time that the child, like a sponge, absorbs everything that he sees and hears around him. Learns to communicate and play with peers. His imagination is in full swing. He is easily suggestible and therefore very trusting. The kid is still learning everything, copying those adults who are nearby. But every preschool child has a small spark of his uniqueness, his talent, hidden deep inside. And the task of adults is to help this spark flare up with a bright flame, become a bright torch, then illuminating his whole life. Not to teach, but to help "the mind of the child in its work on its development." At the same time, the child should enjoy his activity, express himself, improve himself and at the same time feel confident. Guided by the motto "All children are talented, you just need to help them open up," I use various types of children's activities in my work with children. It is in the process of playing, communicating, exploring the world around us and ourselves, getting to know the world of music and fine arts, literature that not only awakens internal reserves in my children, but also forms and develops the leading mental processes (perception, memory, thinking). I find confirmation of this in the work of the famous Soviet teacher V. A. Sukhomlinsky: “Children should live in a world of beauty, games, fairy tales, music, drawing, fantasy, creativity.” And these words are very close to me. The whole day of my kids is filled with music, fairy tales, games, creativity. They are happy to run to kindergarten. I see their waiting, curious eyes, their faces sparkling with laughter, and I understand that I am participating in a very important process. In the process of creating a comprehensively and harmoniously developed personality.

The well-known psychologist in the field of childhood P. P. Blonsky wrote: “The only correct upbringing is the natural growth of the child’s mental strength, which is consistent with the natural inclinations of the child.” He believed that the child should be brought up as a child, considered it necessary to give the opportunity to his childhood to manifest itself in its entirety. His words that in each age period it is necessary "to pay mainly attention to what corresponds to the specific susceptibility of this period, so as not to miss a favorable moment." Janusz Korczak considered the child “an independent “separateness”, a personality independent of another will”, spoke of his full value as a person and the intrinsic value of childhood as a genuine, and not a preliminary stage of a future “real” life. "Children are the same as adults, but with a different scale of concepts, a different store of experience." It is during this period that the child learns moral and universal values, he forms his own attitude to the world. In his set of personality, such qualities as benevolence, respect, self-esteem, etc. appear. Personality is becoming.

I believe that everyone who works with children should remember that preschool childhood is a special world. It has its own culture, values, language, feelings, actions, way of thinking. Each child is a researcher, discovering the world around him, knowing himself and his unique abilities. Let's be next to him to suggest, help, reveal, support. And just to love him!"

Secondly, nominations were proposed for which it was necessary to submit project or description of your activity. I chose nomination "Master" and presented group, cognitive research project with children of primary preschool age "Hello, winter-winter!" which I spent this winter with my kids. This project was aimed at the practical solution of the problems of development of preschoolers and took into account the inherent value of the preschool period of childhood. At the end of the project, it was necessary to indicate the strengths and weaknesses of the project.

And thirdly, it was necessary to provide video interview "Conversation with parents". This interview was built in the form of a self-presentation, where I, answering questions from parents, outlined my approaches to the upbringing and development of preschool children. The most difficult thing in this task was to keep within 2 minutes of the air.

Then I filled out motivation letter to participate in the Summer School. Here it is: "I want to participate in the Summer School because I want to learn new technologies that I have not yet mastered. To gain new experience for practical work with preschoolers. I think that the Summer School will give me not only new knowledge, skills and abilities, but also good emotional charge, comprehension of my experience on a different qualitative level.I will give the Summer School my practical experience of work both as an educator and as an organizer of holidays and trainings.I will use the results of the school in my work, share it at methodological associations of the district and region.I will also share on the pages of my blog on the International Education Portal website, on the page of the website of my preschool institution and on the social networks Odnoklassniki and VKontakte. I attached the necessary documents and sent them. On April 27, my colleagues called me and congratulated me on my victory and winning a grant. In the summer I we are waiting for Moscow, trips to Moscow kindergartens and study with professionals with a capital letter.I am very happy about this and urge everyone: be more confident in yourself, work, create, share your experience and you will succeed!
