My plans for. How to plan for the year

New Year holidays are coming and many people are writing plans for the year. After all, this is why we love the New Year. You can look back at the past 365 days and make a list of goals for the new calendar year. Make a reboot of yourself and with new forces and hopes take on their implementation.

Another thing is that the ardor of "reformism" cools down after a while)) And to prevent this from happening, I offer advice for competent goal setting. From my point of view, of course.

List in the plan for the year by priorities

New Year is a new start. The opportunity to correct what was done wrong last year and start in those directions that “did not reach the hands” before. But so that everything does not mix into a bunch of desires, I propose to break down plans for the year according to priorities. In my case, the list looks like this:

  1. Self-development and training.
  2. Family and Children.
  3. Health.
  4. Finance.
  5. Professional growth.

Let me remind you that I am already 50+ years old and professional growth is in last place. I think that explanations are not needed here)) In your case, dear blog reader, build your own gradation of priorities. But pay attention:

“A signal to those who make plans and scribble goals all weekend. The word priority was fixed in the English language in the 15th century. It didn't have a plural. It meant the single most important or first thing. For another five hundred years, it was used only in the singular, and only in the 20th century did people start talking about "priorities." Dmitry Kot (copywriting guru and successful businessman)

In other words, you need to focus on one main goal and devote most of your life time to it. Periodically "pulling up" other directions as far as possible and according to strength. How to do this structurally will be discussed in the next section.

Goals in the plans for the year

There are two main rules in the formation of plans for the year.

The first rule of developing goals for the year is a combination of strategy and tactics. You need to think globally (for 365 or 366 days), but always remember that life will surely scatter. Therefore, plan in “solid pieces”, and methods of achievement - as you collect the necessary information, tactically maneuvering and moving forward. By setting too strict goals in place and time, you risk falling into annoyance from failure through no fault of your own. In this case, plan a “force majeure” column to analyze the rake that prevented you from fulfilling your plan. And remember that

“Strategy without tactics is too slow to reach the goal. Tactics without strategy is vanity before failure.” Sorry, I don't remember the author...

The second rule of translating good intentions into real action is to use special tools. That is, one that allows you to break goals for the year into small sub-goals, then into small steps towards these sub-goals. Everything that helps to write down, hang on the wall in a conspicuous place for each reporting period and control. At least in the form of a poster on the refrigerator, where the chain is written: goal - tasks - actions. With the obligatory check-box "Execution".

It can be a diary, printed tables on the wall of the office, a special folder on the computer desktop or in paper form, etc.

Personal plans for the year

I continue with a personal example. Let's say I have a goal of "Finance". What does it mean:

  • Competent management of the family's financial policy in spending on living (I continue to study according to the flylady system. By the way, it helps :)).
  • Maintaining "" within the established limits.
  • Investing in projects that are needed to further develop your business (in my case, working on the Internet).
  • Continuation of previously launched projects for the accumulation of specific amounts for goals (plans for the year are already written here according to the methodology from the article "").

According to "Competent management ..." I prescribe courses for which I plan to enroll in the new year and the money that is needed to pay for the course. I break it down by months, checking the website for flyers. But I don’t plan more than 1 course in the future, since the idea for the next training comes as I progress through the current one. I invest in projects according to the results and after discussion with the head of the family)) But what I need to buy for work, I determine myself according to the current situation.

But I pay the main attention to the item “Self-development and training”. I realized that a systematic movement towards the set goal gives more results than “shitting” from one idea to another. Until I work out one of my "plans", I do not move on to another. Self-development eliminates throwing, learning on a specific topic - advancement in one's business. In addition, setting a clear goal

Family and Children. Generally speaking, these are two different sub-items. And they also require plans for the year. But the topic is so extensive that I will write about it a little later.

Health. Everything has been clear here since last year: I participate in a group of followers of Yaroslav Brin, I switch from fitness (which turned out to be ineffective) to the gym and “straighten” my nutrition plan, which was shaken during the New Year holidays. The plan for the year in light outlines, we will see further. The goal is to maintain health at the proper level (flexibility and endurance for your age level. Although it can be higher :).

She planned professional growth approximately and according to the steps that are needed to improve the skills of a webmaster. Approximately, since it is not possible to accurately prescribe - changes are constantly rolling in tsunami waves. But I will write about it on Reiter. The blog is aimed at helping in the life of a woman))

Agree that having plans for the year in the form of "" is much better than just writing them down on a piece of paper and forgetting until the 364th day of the year. Discipline at least. Therefore, if you decide to organize your life to achieve success in your personal and professional life, then ... We buy a notebook in a thick cover and begin to prescribe everything in detail. At least for the first three months. And then on operational information. But with an eye to the goals set for the year. And how to correctly plan a week and a month, we look in the article "". Good luck.

Save so as not to lose!

Of course, the world is changing very quickly, and you can’t plan everything in advance. But remember the words of the famous author and life coach Anthony Robbins.

Don't back down from your decisions, but be prepared to adapt to the situation.

Anthony Robbins

Most people usually don't stick to their decisions. It's time to change that.

Ask yourself, are you just interested in achieving your goals or are you sticking to the decisions you made? If we are only interested, we find reasons and excuses to explain why we cannot keep our promises. But if we really stick to our decisions, we don't need any excuses. We just do whatever it takes, whatever the cost.

Believe in yourself

Psychologists have found that people with self-confidence and an internal locus of control are dramatically superior in many ways.

Self-confidence is the belief that you can achieve your goals (in other words, self-confidence). Internal locus of control - the belief that not external circumstances, but you yourself determine your life.

Most people do not believe in their own strength and are of the opinion that their lives are controlled by external circumstances. Such people usually:

  • Avoid difficulties.
  • They don't take responsibility.
  • They feel helpless.
  • More often suffer from and anxiety.
  • They get sick more often.
  • They look bleakly into the future.
  • Dissatisfied with their work.
  • Dissatisfied with life in general.

Take responsibility for your life

For example, you are currently reading this article. Didn't you click on the link? Are you not in control of your actions?

Once you realize that you are fully responsible for every area of your life, you will realize that this is freedom.

After all, if someone or something other than ourselves is responsible for our future, we sit back and turn into a product of external circumstances.

Let others live ordinary lives, not you. Let others argue over trifles, not you. Let others worry about the little things, not you. Let others entrust their future into someone else's hands, not you.

Understand that only you are responsible for your choice

The ability to choose is related to three concepts:

  • The right to make a choice.
  • Responsibility for your choice.
  • Choice results.

If it seems to you that you are not capable of doing it, you are mistaken. We all make choices every day.

When you take responsibility for your choices, you will realize that every decision you make has an intention and a consequence. Each decision reflects our views and beliefs more vividly than any words.

Therefore, how you allocate your time and with whom you spend it is very important. Everything you do becomes important when you take responsibility for your life.

Consciously shape your life

For this you need:

  1. Believe that you are in control of what happens to you.
  2. Believe in your own ability to change your life.
  3. Believe that you alone are responsible for your own choices.
  4. Hope that what you dream about will happen.
  5. Stay motivated even in difficult situations.

If the goal is not important to you, there will be no and . If you don't believe you have what it takes to reach that goal, you won't be motivated either. This theory is called expectancy theory. According to her, what we expect usually happens.

There is another similar concept - the Pygmalion effect: what other people expect from us largely determines how successful we become.

It's simple enough: expect the amazing, and it will most likely happen. Surround yourself with people who expect great results from you, and you will begin to live up to those expectations.

conclusions

Can everything in life go according to our plan? No. But that doesn't mean we don't have control over our lives. Our destiny is determined by our decisions, not external circumstances.

You can control life, have bold dreams and make them come true. But for this you need to plan ahead. Don't look at 2017 in isolation. After all, this is a direct continuation of 2016.

What will your life be like in 2018?

Making a list of goals for the year is perhaps a long tradition for many people, which they follow on the eve of the country's largest holiday. They decorate the Christmas tree, buy tangerines and champagne, plan life changes. It's exciting and by no means useless.

The meaning of the list

Firstly, this is not just about some kind of list of tasks for the coming year, but about drawing up a personal annual plan. The formation of such a list is the first step in the transition to a new level of self-development. And that's why:

  • The man is serious about the matter. He asks himself questions - what does he need next year? What would he like to strive for? What would you like to get? Where to be and what to achieve? Then he gives himself answers, passing questions through the prism of personal values, and forms a goal.
  • Writing it down on paper, he once again comprehends his task and visualizes it. It consolidates in writing, one might say, makes a reminder for itself, which serves as an additional incentive in the future.
  • A person thinks how to become better. After all, the goal is the final result of the aspiration. And it is impossible without the desire to improve yourself or your life. When compiling a list of goals for the whole year, a person once again evaluates his capabilities, resources, abilities and thinks about how and on what he will have to work for the sake of the result.

Such a plan is a means leading its compiler to achieve the desired, which also allows you to grow and expand the boundaries of reality. At a minimum, such a list of goals, in plain sight, will “push” in the back and remind you of the desire to strive for something when it is overpowered by the craving for procrastination and laziness.

Compilation rules

The first thing to learn is that the list of goals for the whole year should be structured, neat, clear and orderly. And it is better to write out the tasks not as a single “canvas”, separated only by fads, but to divide them into blocks. It is desirable that in each of them there was also a distribution of tasks by months. For example, the block will be called "Finance". And inside: “January - open an interest-bearing savings deposit in a bank. Start keeping track of expenses and income. February - to study all modern methods of earning and business options. And so on.

And, of course, you need to be guided by the SMART goal setting system. According to her, any task should be:

  • Specific - specific.
  • Measurable - measurable.
  • Attainable - achievable.
  • Relevant - relevant.
  • Time-bound - limited in time.

Compliance with these principles allows you to set the most clear goal, and also makes you think thoroughly about your capabilities. SMART is already a separate topic, and we can talk about it for a long time. But the fact is this: when making a list on it, a person will ask himself a huge number of questions and more clearly imagine what he wants. He will not just include “Buy a car” in the list, but will know which one, when, for how much and how he will earn on it.

Personal goals

It was said above that it is better to delimit the list by blocks. It's comfortable. One of the main ones should be the “Personal Goals” block. Everyone will write something of their own. But here are the ones that most people in the world ask most often:

  • Lose weight.
  • Start writing a book.
  • Stop procrastinating - put off things and dreams for later.
  • Love.
  • Find true happiness.
  • Get a tattoo.
  • Spontaneously take off on a journey, deciding it literally in one second.
  • Start blogging or diary.
  • Learn to save.
  • Read a lot of books.
  • Interesting and active life.

In general, the list of goals for a year of a personal nature includes tasks that are not only of particular value to a person, but in most cases require some kind of effort and work on themselves. It also includes dreams and hopes.

Spirituality

As many people know, this term denotes the highest level of self-regulation and development of a mature, whole personality. Many want to become more spiritual, but this requires major work on themselves, their character and views, so that it can be formed into the goal of the list for the year. Here are some examples:

  • Learn to be calm and unruffled in any situation.
  • Try to meditate.
  • Learn to think coldly, quickly and soberly in especially tense and emotional situations.
  • Practice gratitude.
  • Help someone for free.
  • Refuse stereotypes and clichés, learn to understand and accept other values, respect them.
  • Overcome your three fears.
  • Find answers to important questions: “Who am I in this world? What is my role? What is the meaning of my life?

Also in this block of the list of goals for the whole year, you can include reading thematic books, practicing various meditations and states, watching developing lectures and programs.

money and work

This block must also be included in the list of goals for the next year. Here, by the way, specificity is especially important. Good thing, it can be expressed in numbers, and in the future to strive for them. Here's what it might look like:

  • Monthly save 15,000 rubles from the salary for vacation.
  • Buy a new powerful laptop for ~70,000 rubles.
  • Go to Greece for 10 days in the summer, the price of a ticket and accounting for expenses - ~ 70,000 rubles.
  • Increase your income by at least 20%.
  • Find a new area of promising activity and try yourself in it.
  • Start watching blogs of successful people, read books about them.
  • Do time management.
  • Improve productivity.

When compiling a financial list of goals for the year, do not neglect the numbers. In the same block, several additional “windows” can be distinguished in order to visually calculate in them the amounts necessary for earning and saving, which will then be spent on purchases.

Personal growth

Every day you need to get better. This is one of the most correct. Having completed the points of the “Personal Growth” block, a person at the end of the coming year should note with satisfaction that he did everything he wanted. He got better. Here are some goals to include in the list for the new year:

  • Start learning a foreign language, by the end of next December, master it at the everyday conversational level.
  • Read 12 scientific books.
  • Find an interesting but not entertaining hobby. For example, start studying chemistry.
  • Sign up for some courses.
  • Learn to make "emotional" purchases. We are talking about acquiring those things that you want at the moment, but after two weeks a person has a question, why did he take them?
  • Develop your vocabulary. Memorize one new term per day and memorize its meaning.
  • Learn mnemonics.

This block can include both educational goals and those related to purely personal self-improvement.

Health

Also a very important block. Here is an example of a list of health-related goals for the year:

  • Avoid white sugar completely.
  • Start eating right, balance your diet.
  • Give up unreasonable drinking, a la "Yes, I only have a bottle of beer in the evening."
  • Join a fitness club and hire a personal trainer.
  • Go to the pool.
  • Instill in yourself the habit of drinking 1.5-2.5 liters of pure water every day.
  • Start running on the track. For a year, increase the speed from the minimum to the maximum.

Here, too, there may be numbers. This is especially true for girls - in the list of goals for the year, many of them include weight loss and carefully paint how many kilograms they want to get rid of in a month.

Relations

Everyone knows that they need to be worked on. And if the question arose of how to make a list of goals for the year and what to include in it, then we must not forget about the topic of relationships. Here the list could be:

  • Learn to listen and hear your partner.
  • Accept people for who they are. To understand that attempts to “reshape” them are disrespectful, because in this way a person seems to say that he does not care about their true, sincere essence.
  • Learn to find the right words of support that the interlocutor needs at a particular moment, which could really console him.
  • Make nice gifts for friends and family just like that.
  • Find a new joint hobby with your significant other. Do something unusual, bring novelty to the relationship.
  • Experiment more in intimacy.
  • Learn to give constructive advice.
  • Instill the habit of putting yourself in other people's shoes in order to better understand them.

Well, there are still a lot of goals that can be formed. But in this case, not only quantity is important, but also quality. The list should include only what is really important and has value. And then, having compiled it and beautifully designed, you can fix it in a conspicuous place. Or even put it in a frame - it will look better and inspire additionally.

Dear readers, welcome! You probably dream of a sweet life, a successful business, a beloved girl / boyfriend. Maybe you have it all, but want to achieve even more? Whatever it is, you always have to start somewhere.

And according to successful businessmen, the best way to start a new life is to make a preliminary plan for it, at least for a year. The list of plans for the year is of great benefit, since it can be as ambitious as you like and it can contain any number of items.

So how do you plan your year to make the most of it?

The process of making a plan for the year can be compared to preparing a meal. It does not matter when it is prepared: on the eve of the New Year or in the middle of summer. It is important what ingredients it contains and how they combine with each other.

Making a plan for the year should include your desires, ambitions and aspirations. If in the case of you they offer to limit the flight of fantasy somewhat, then the plan for the year can contain any ideas, but they should not be too “sweet”. When it comes to too "sweet" plan for the year, it means that it carries too many unrealistic events.

A simple example: you are an average sales manager and you have set yourself the goal of buying an airplane. Theoretically, this is possible if you are lucky in the casino or a rich relative from abroad finds you. But in practice, this goal is achievable only by a quarter.

To make your plan for the year moderately sweet, moderately salty, break down your goal to buy a plane into several subgoals. For example, increase sales results, become the head of a department, rise to the rank of director, open your own business.

Step by step your target will be closer to you.

The items in your plan for the year are actually your intention. You can step back from it not far to the side, because the goal that causes a feeling of obsession can do harm, not good.

The rule of thumb for writing a yearly plan is to break your goals down into many smaller goals and keep them flexible.

Plans and goals for the year should be both ambitious and modest. You are admirable if you want to climb Everest, but do you have the appropriate training?

Rule number 2: match your desires with your capabilities.

If there are not enough opportunities for desire, take care of them first. On the example of Everest: if you are not physically fit, do not rush to buy a ticket and go to the store for equipment. First, sign up for a gym and consult with experienced climbers.

How to write a yearly plan for a blogger?

Blogging is a rather specific profession. It is very difficult for a novice blogger to make plans for the new year, because he does not have clear goals.

The goal of any blogger is to boost their page or site, make money from content, create .

But how to do it? To achieve your vague goal, you need to break it down into more specific aspirations.

To do this, you need to answer the question: what determines the number of visitors?

From interesting content. The goal is to develop interesting content.

How to develop it?

Work schedule for non-working people: how to make a plan for the year for students?

Students already have a plan - it's their schedule at school or university. But how can you be successful if all students do all year is go to classes and cramming material for the session?

A place for self-development should be included in any schedule, whether it's a plan for a year for a teenager, whether it's a schedule for a female student.

The knowledge that we receive in educational institutions is certainly very important for us. But they do not guarantee success in the future. Therefore, in addition to the study schedule, students should have a personal schedule, where there is a place for sports, hobbies, mastering another profession (preferably applied).

Your personal schedule should be more detailed, because it includes your aspirations to achieve your real goal. And believe me: this goal does not sound like “finish school/university”. This is also very important, but much more important is what you will do after that, what you will do.

Start with the name of your personal schedule. For example: work plan for 2016. Describe in detail everything you want to do. Love music - include in the plan for the year the item "go to singing lessons", dream of a beautiful slender body - sign up for a gym and go to it. Maybe you dream of becoming a computer guru? Feel free to enroll in the relevant courses and, perhaps, in a year you will put a tick in front of your goal: achieved.

Drawing up a personal life plan for self-development by example.

Why make a plan

The point of making a plan for the year is to live a happier year than without a plan. The plan should lead us on the path to a happy life. Support our growth above ourselves. Expand our capabilities and grow our self-image.

Plan for the year - structures our development and slightly pushes in the back when we stop. It should have goals, the achievement of which is significant for us. It is overvalued to be effective, the plan for the year serves this task.

And “keep the goals in mind” is a slingshot, smoothly turning into a remote control from the telly.

I've been planning goals for 5 years now. To convince you of the benefits of drawing up a plan and not clog the article, it’s hard for me to give not hundreds, but just one strong argument. Heard everyone wants to "travel and lie under a palm tree." Without work is a boring fairy tale. So I work and live in the palm countries 260 days a year.

The plan is to expand our freedom, and not to squeeze us into the framework of old and imposed goals. If our life is shackled: the obligation to earn a living or work for other people's goals, then it will be more far-sighted to make a plan to change our lives.

Basic principles of life planning

The first step is to make a draft list of goals. It is convenient from December to start collecting goals, to look closely at them. You can check them for compliance with yourself, if it is vocal - go to a trial lesson.

But even before you start making a plan, it's helpful to adopt the principles to make it fun to follow the plan:

Goal Sources

The main source of goals for the year is our personal meaning of life. If we have compiled it, it will be much easier for us in the future: to determine what is valuable for us in the year, and what to discard. Or we will proceed from the idea - what we want to achieve in 5 years. I'll give you abbreviated examples.

My draft version of the personal meaning of life: figure out "Who am I?" and where I am.
Goals for the year: read books on psychology, philosophy, religion. Expand "I" - unusual behavior, roles, habits, self-image, travel.

Year planning results

We don't know what will happen in a year. We can be wrong about our desires. Example - planned to move to the city center, but left abroad. The plan didn't work - we just changed.

We are planning for the New Year. If it is implemented, we will be delighted. And an unfulfilled plan will remain in our head - an unpleasant burden. Therefore, we are cunning.

The plan for the beginning of the year is taken as 100%. Those 25% of free space - we fill with new goals. We consider everything based on the original plan, and additional goals as overfulfillment of the plan.

The plan is necessary for us to feel better, so that it fills us with the will to move forward, and not slow us down. In life, an order of magnitude more will happen than is written in the plan. Unplanned meetings with friends, emotional gatherings, some joyful moments. But they will not be taken into account in the plan. Remember that following a plan is a part of life, not all of life.

It is important not to draw up a plan correctly, but the planning of life itself is significant.
