The elder scrolls v skyrim elemental fury. Elemental Fury

Elemental Fury(orig. Elemental Fury) - Dragon Shout in the game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Description

Elemental Fury is a dragon cry that grants the character "wind speed", making them faster in their attacks. The more shout words learned, the faster the speed. With a fully learned shout, the attack speed of any weapon is increased by 2 times.

The shout lasts 15 seconds. Elemental rage does not apply to enchanted weapons, even if only one enchantment has been applied to the protagonist's weapon and the "Additional Effect" ability has been learned. Also, the shout does not work with equipped summoned weapons and improved bows - there is a possibility to shout, but there is no effect. But, unfortunately, this is the most buggy shout, so it is best used in extreme cases.

Usage

  • Sharing with a pickaxe will increase the speed of ore extraction.
  • Two weapons and this shout is an effective solution to many problems with any opponent. At the first levels, the lucky dagger of Valdr, which is considered unenchanted, is quite suitable for such a purpose. Also, knowledge of the Double Whirlwind perk will not hurt. Since the shout only applies to right-handed weapons, but affects the speed of combat with both weapons, it is effective to use some kind of stun weapon with the left hand.
  • In the LE version of the game with Unofficial Skyrim Patch the shout can also be applied to the weapon in the left hand.
  • If you use daggers with learned perks "Dash" and "Double Whirlwind", then with the help of elemental rage you can move very quickly around Skyrim. Charge, which allows you to deal critical hits while sprinting, and the speed of daggers, along with a scream, allow you to move through crowds of enemies almost without stopping.
  • This shout increases the speed of a slow two-handed weapon while maintaining the damage dealt by that weapon.
  • With this shout, you can increase the speed of drawing the bowstring (for maximum damage) to almost instantaneous.

Bugs

  • The weapon in the right hand can be enchanted and the scream effect will work on two weapons.
  • The strong wind sound effect played while screaming can become uninterrupted. Possible solutions:
    • return to the previous save;
    • installing a patch (the patch removes the sound of howling wind after a scream);
    • using the sexchange console command (helps only until the next boot);
    • reuse of shout;
    • use of staves;
    • transformation into a werewolf or vampire lord.
  • When two daggers are equipped, shouting may not affect attack speed.
  • It is dangerous to use the shout on the edge of the cliffs - a stealth finishing blow to the enemy can cause the hero himself to fall from these very cliffs.
  • Sometimes the wall next to Meridia's statue doesn't teach a word.
    • Solution 1: use fast travel to travel to Solitude . Then save and load the save you just created, and then return to the statue of Meridia by typing coc KilkreathRuinsExterior03 in the console.
    • Solution 2: A more efficient method of learning the word from the wall next to the statue is to restart Windows.
    • Solution 3: It happens that none of these methods helps, so henceforth it is recommended to study the word the first time you visit the temple of Meridia (if only because the word next to the temple is the most accessible, you don’t need to deal with anyone: just get and study the word, open air). If, nevertheless, this error took place, then you just need to wait. The bug is temporary, and after some time (maybe one in-game month, maybe three), the scream on the wall will become available for study again.
  • Sometimes the effect of "wind speed" can remain on the weapon. Dovahkiin can learn this effect by removing it from the weapon on the pentagram of souls. However, if you apply this enchantment to any weapon, then the sound of the wind and visual effects will appear, but nothing else will change. Regardless of the power of the enchantment, these effects will not disappear even if the weapon is sheathed, completely de-equipped, or thrown out of the inventory altogether.
  • There is a bug when the attack speed becomes 2 times less than the initial speed.
  • If you shout while using an unenchanted bow, and then switch to any other weapon (even an enchanted one), the result will temporarily be the same temporary enchantment on the weapon or pair, but invisible on the weapon in the character's inventory. This can be noticed even with the cry of only the first word; the mediocre increase in attacks becomes at least 2 times more every second.

Playable Dragon Shouts in Skyrim
Ruthless Force Ethereal Harmony Kyne Voice Throw

What is the "mind" and "with what it is eaten"?

Dragon Shouts (also known as the Voice or Thu'um) are phrases or words in the dragon language used to release potential energy (similar to magic). Dragons have the natural ability to use Shouts, but among humans, few have it. As a Dragonborn, your character can use Shouts just as freely as Dragons. You can learn up to 20 Shouts, each consisting of 3 Words of Power.

To learn Dragon Shout, the following conditions must be met:---

1. Find the Wall of Power.

Wall with the Word in Windy Peak.

2. Read the Word of Power on the Wall. Words of Power are separate runes that are displayed on the Wall.

Near the Wall with the Word. Magical energy comes from the right Word.

3. Kill the Dragon and consume its soul.

Dovakin absorbs the dragon's soul in Windhelm.

4. After killing the Dragon, use its soul to open the Word of Power(For those who are especially dull - R (English layout)).
5. Learn a new Shout. At first, you can learn the weakest version of the Shout. To unlock other, stronger variants of this Shout, you will need to learn two more Words of Power and consume two Dragon Souls.

Following the main storyline, Dovahkiin learns about 15 different Words of Power from other characters in the storyline, after which these words will be opened. The first word of the Unrelenting Force Shout will be revealed immediately after Milmurnir's death (Automatically apply the soul on an unrevealed Unrelenting Force Shout). To unlock the rest of the Shout Words, you will need to absorb 44 more Dragon Souls.

This is what Scream looks like in real life (Enjoy viewing!):

Finding Dragon Shouts

1. Some Words of Power can only be learned at certain points in the main storyline, while others require access to locations unlocked by completing various faction quests (Thieves Guild, College of Winterhold, Companions, etc.). But most of the Words are available for study at any time.

2. When you Shout in a city, inhabited dungeon, or camp settlement, a messenger may run up to you and deliver "Letter from a friend". Each such letter will open a side quest that will help you find the Walls of Words. New letters can only be obtained after completing the previous quest related to the letter. The courier can find you anywhere in Skyrim and will deliver letters until all the Words of Power have been learned by your character.

3. After completing the quest "Horn of Jurgen Windcaller", you can ask Arngeir if the Greybeards know the location of the Words of Power, and he will direct you to the Wall of Words, marking it on the map. Arngeir's pointers and courier letters can be used in combination with each other. Arngeir will no longer indicate where the Walls are after you learn all the available Words of Power.

Dovakin's initiation after completing the quest "Horn of Jurgen Windcaller".

Inaccessible Dragon Shouts

In addition to the Shouts that the player can learn, there are several used by NPCs and Dragons:

1. Alduin has a Creek known as "Dragon Storm Call". It is similar to the Thunder Call, but causes a meteor storm instead of a lightning storm, and the sky turns red instead of gray. Clear Sky can stop it.
2. Alduin also has a Shout called "Cry of Resurrection", which resurrects dead Dragons. The soul of the dragon will restore his body. The words of power for this Shout are Slen, Teed, and Vo. Notably, the player can learn the Words "Teed" and "Slen" for use in other Shouts.
3. Soul trap mist, which Alduin created in Sovngarde, is not technically a Shout, but a script. He appears where Alduin hides and feeds on captured souls. The words of Power for him are “Ven”, “Mule”, “Rick”, which are translated as “wind”, “strong” and “storm”.
4. The Shout that Tsun uses to send the player from Sovngarde back to Nirn is another unavailable Shout. His Words: “Nal”, “Dal”, “Vus”, which in translation means “to live”, “to return”, “Nirn”.
5. Shouts used by Dragons are modified versions of the Shouts used by the player and NPCs.
6. There is a Shout that the Greybeards use to create incorporeal dummies that you can practice your Shouts on. His words are “Fik”, “Lo”, “Sa”, which means “mirror”, “deceive”, “phantom”. This is another Shout that is not available to you. However, it can be opened with the "psb" console command. This Shout appears to have been originally created for the player to use as it is voiced for all races.
7. While studying "Rapid dash", one of the Greybeards (Borri) will open the gate with Shout "Bex". It is also not available for the player to explore.

Dragon cries (Voice or Tu "mind) are words of power in the dragon language used to reveal a powerful magical effect. Dragons have always been able to Shout, this skill is inseparable from their nature, The cry for a dragon is as natural as breathing and speech. Well concerns people ... In ancient times, the goddess Kynareth granted them the ability to speak the language of dragons, but most take many years to learn the simplest Scream. Only the Dragonborn have the great gift of the Voice - the ability to direct life energy into That "mind, or Scream. The speech of dragons is in their blood, it is given to them without much effort. Your character is a Dragonborn - a warrior with the soul of a dragon in a mortal body, although at first this is not known to anyone. The ability to use Shouts will become available upon completion of the quest "Dragon in the sky" (Dragon Rising), after absorbing the soul of the first killed dragon.

To open a new Shout or improve an already known one, you should approach the Wall of Words and find out the Word of Power, then spend the absorbed dragon soul to unlock the word (R button), and if there is no available dragon soul, you will have to kill some dragon and absorb his soul. All Shouts are made up of three Words, and each time you master a new Word, your Shout becomes more powerful: unlocking the first word from a Shout unlocks a weaker version of it, the second and third increases the intensity, duration, and so on.

In order to Shout, you must press the Z button (by default). A simple press of the Shout button produces a weak version of it, a short hold will result in a medium version, and a long hold will cause the strongest Shout. After Shouting, there must be some "recharge" time before you can Shout again (watch out for the compass outlines turning from blue to white).

A total of 20 Screams can be learned. As you progress through the main quest, you will learn 15 words from various Shouts (dragon souls are not required to unlock them). You will need 44 Dragon Souls to unlock all other available Words of Power. Some Words can only be learned in certain places when completing the main quest and completing quests for various factions (see the tables below), while most are open for learning at any time (the order does not matter). To facilitate the search for Word Walls, there are two ways to obtain information about their location:

1. It is worth shouting more often in cities, settlements, camps and dungeons, then expect a messenger with a "Letter from a friend" containing a hint about a place with another Word Wall. Messengers will continue to bring such letters until all currently available Words of Power have been found. However, please note that you will not receive a new "Letter from a Friend" until you complete the quest associated with the previous letter received.

2. After completing The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller quest, you can also ask Arngeir of the Path of the Voice masters, the Greybeards, if they know anything about places of power, and he will mark them on the map. Once you have learned all the currently available Words of Power, Arngeir will stop giving you leads.

Cries of the word of power- new unique character ability in the game The_Elder_Scrolls_V:_Skyrim

The first mention of thu'um is found in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, in the book "Children of Heaven" by an unknown author. There they are called ki-ay(similar to the battle cry of the Akaviri swordsmen). The book describes both much of what was embodied in Skyrim (the use of voice in battles, during the storming of cities, to move in space), and some omitted aspects - for example, the ability to sharpen weapons with the help of voice is mentioned. From the text, the then “dampness” of the concept of thu’ums is visible: for example, it is indicated that the power of the Shout is stored in the language of the Nord and can be used after his death by cutting out the tongue (hence the original version of the origin of the name “Tongues”). On the other hand, this may also be a trivial manifestation of the ignorance of the author who wrote the book, which is called “by hearsay”. Paarthurnax taught humans how to use thu'um. All creatures scream differently.

As a Dragonborn, or Dovahkiin, you have the innate ability to absorb the souls of dragons you kill and speak their language. Shortly after starting the main quest, you will unlock the gift of the Voice - the ability to direct life energy into the thu'um, or Shout.

Each Shout consists of three Words of Power. The more words of the Shout you utter, the more effective it is, but also the longer it takes you to restore your vocal cords before using the gift again.

You will learn the Words of Power both during the main quest and in your travels, finding the so-called Walls of Words. Get close enough to the Wall to learn the Word of Power. However, in order to take advantage of the new knowledge, you need to "unlock" the word by investing the soul of a slain dragon. Yes, it makes sense to periodically visit Arngeir, the most talkative of the Greybeards, and ask if they know anything about the whereabouts of the Walls.

The game mechanics are as follows: for most Shouts, there are three Walls each containing Words that make up one thu'um. If you don't know a single word of the Shout, then when you come to any of these three Walls, you will recognize the first Word. Having reached the second Wall from this trio, you will learn the second Word, to the third - the third Word and master this thu'um perfectly.

Using Shout Words of Power

Press key Z for PC by default, R2 for PS3 by default, RB for XBox 360 by default to use the preselected Scream. The longer you hold the key, the more Shout words you will speak and the more powerful the Shout itself. Each shout can contain from one to three words.

Calling a copy

Summon Spectral Clone

This Shout summons a copy of the shouter. The Greybeards used him to train Dovahkiin during his first visit to High Hrothgar.

Also, the developers initially gave Dovakin the same shout (judging by the presence of sound files for each race) and even a decoding of the words of this shout (the shout can be obtained using the console), but this shout was not added in the final version of the game.

Words: FIIK (Mirror), LO (deceive), SAH (Phantom).

On Nintendo Switch and PlayStation VR. It's time to return to the eternal debate - which screams are the best in the game. There are almost 30 shouts in Skyrim, so it's best to know which ones will help your character the most. In this guide, you will find about the five best shouts in the game.

Aura Whisper

This shout will allow you to detect living creatures and undead nearby. The more words you know, the longer you will be shown the discovered creatures. The coverage area is greatly increased outdoors.

Given that you'll know which direction your enemies are heading in, this shout is perfect for stealth enthusiasts and assassins who prefer to attack with stealth.

Become Ethereal

This shout will give your character an incorporeal form that will protect him from both physical and magical attacks. Your stamina will not be depleted, you will be able to survive after falling from any height, you will not be able to drown and will not fall into a trap.

Incorporeality does not last long. Also, if you start attacking, decide to open a chest, talk to someone, or pick up an item, this effect will instantly disappear. In other words, you cannot interact with anything if you want to remain in that form.

In addition to avoiding obstacles, you can use this shout to better position yourself in combat. For example, to reduce the distance or evade powerful enemy attacks. In addition, the incorporeal form will help you cast a particularly long spell.

Elemental Fury

This shout will increase the speed of your weapons, with the exception of bows, bare fists, and enchanted weapons.

This is useful for two-handed and dual-wielding weapons. Elemental Rage will turn you into a real killing machine. The shout lasts 15 seconds.

Death Sentence (Marked for Death)

Although this shout will not instantly kill your enemies, it will significantly reduce their armor and deal damage for a whole minute.

Death Sentence is best used at the beginning of a battle to weaken the armor of most - if not all - of your enemies and inflict additional damage on them while you pummel them mercilessly. Moreover, the effects stack with each other, so you can easily deal with large groups of enemies or huge beasts.

Unrelenting Force

This is the favorite shout of most players because Fus Ro Dah is synonymous with the Dragonborn. Unrelenting Force allows your character to knock back everything in its path.

It's always fun to throw enemies off cliffs, bridges, and other high places. This shout is great in battles with large groups of enemies.
