VSU open day: go ahead for information.

June 20 for students of Voronezh state university Career Day is over. In the main auditorium academic building university brought together employers and students. The participants of the event were employees from the Central Black Earth Bank of Sberbank, headed by HR Director Irina Kopytina.

The participants were greeted by VSU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Vasily Popov:

– Representatives of Sberbank prepared interesting master classes and presentations. Even if some of the students have already decided on their future place of work, it will still be useful for them to participate in this event. It is never possible to guess exactly what will happen tomorrow and how our life will change in the near future.

Irina Kopytina, Director of the Central Chernozem Bank of Sberbank, told HR about the situation on the labor market. She drew attention to the fact that today there are a sufficient number of vacancies, but there are disproportions between supply and demand. Irina Vyacheslavovna advised the children to strive for development, minimize gaps in their knowledge and constantly improve themselves. This approach practically guarantees that university graduates will be in demand in the labor market.

Colleagues from the Central Black Earth Bank of PJSC Sberbank made small presentations to the students. In their speeches, they briefly talked about what they do and what they can offer to future graduates of the university. AT fascinating form did the guys get an idea of ​​who the people of the future are and what these competencies are - 2020? Students were taught how to write a resume and prepare for an interview with an employer. It turns out that for a long time there have been techniques that allow you to look advantageous in the eyes of the employer, for all equal conditions with other job applicants.

As if in a sci-fi novel, the guys visited during an interesting lecture on Digital skills and artificial intelligence. It was read by the head of the sector of the Technology Block Alexander Kalmykov. Well, for those who would like to try their hand at business, the program for developing entrepreneurial skills "Business Class" came in handy. She was launched in Voronezh region May 31, 2018. Elena Grebenshchikova, a territorial manager for working with partners of the Small Business Sales Department, introduced the children to her.

Students were able to communicate with representatives of the Central Black Earth Bank of PJSC Sberbank, ask questions, participate in mother classes and pass an interview. The audience reacted especially lively to the presentation of the Director of the Talent Development Center of the Central Chernobyl Center Tatyana Nekravtseva, who told the children about vacancies and career prospects in Sberbank.

Everyone was satisfied with the Career Day: employers, potential recruits, and teachers of Voronezh State University. In total, more than 100 students took part in the event.

We decided to inquire about the effectiveness and benefits of this event from today's VSU students, who once, as schoolchildren, attended the Open Days of their university.

In my opinion, applicants come to the Open Days purposefully to get acquainted with the faculty they have already chosen. When I was at school, my teacher suggested ideas about cooperation between the Voronezh State University and Rossosh schools in the implementation of various research work and projects based on the university. If such work is being carried out at our university or it can be implemented, then I am in the forefront to be a volunteer in such projects! Such pre-university work would be a great addition to the Open Days, would contribute to the interest of schoolchildren, help to get to know the chosen specialty better, or to make a choice, - said Ekaterina Isaeva, a student of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of the Voronezh State University.

I consider the Open House Day to be an effective event, since there applicants are given full information about what a faculty is. Among my peers there are people who decided to enter a particular faculty after attending an open day. Therefore, I think that all means are good. I myself am currently working on one assignment for the preparation of the Open Day at my department. Judging by what is being prepared at my faculty, I can say that visualization, some examples or samples of what could help the applicant form an idea of ​​​​the future specialty, will be useful. We should not limit ourselves to mere dry descriptions of the faculty, because advertising in this case never hurts, it will only be a plus, - answered Pavel Sychev, a master's student at the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of Voronezh State University.

When I attended the Open Doors Day as a schoolgirl, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy immediately made the audience feel at ease, talked a lot about the faculty and answered all questions with pleasure. The guys from the pharmaceutical faculty also seemed friendly then, in addition, the atmosphere of the university attracted me. I wanted to return, which I did, becoming a student at Voronezh State University. As far as I know, today there are different communities in social networks for VSU applicants, various conferences are held, which is also good for interaction with high school students, - said Maria Naumova, a student of the pharmaceutical faculty of Voronezh State University.

I have repeatedly heard from my friends and read in social networks about the fact that every year VSU holds an Open Day for applicants who want to choose the most suitable university for study. Living in another entity Russian Federation I couldn't attend them as a schoolboy. Undoubtedly, Open Day is an important and effective event. This can be easily verified. When planning admission to a university, a future student asks several questions: WHO will teach me? WHAT is the specifics of the specialty that I want to choose? WHAT CONDITIONS is the university ready to offer me for my further development and realization of my plans for the future? Applicants can find out the most accurate answers to these and many other questions at the Open Doors Day, and as a result, future students will probably not make a mistake in choosing a university and future profession, - commented a student of the faculty applied mathematics, computer science and mechanics Maxim Sakharov.

Before entering VSU, I was several times at the FKN Open Day, and this helped me find answers to many questions. contentious issues. It is much easier for an applicant to make his choice by visiting the Open Day. I believe that Open Days are effective only in combination with other reliable information about the chosen school faculty. An excellent support for such an event for applicants are open scientific lectures on various areas knowledge, such as, for example, the cycle of natural science lectures "Saturday University". On March 24, the annual VSU Poetry Day and the presentation of an almanac with poems by university poets dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the university took place in the conference hall of the main building of VSU.

Today is the 62nd VSU Poetry Day. But I thought - is the date correct? - Larisa ZIMINA opened the evening. - The other day I reviewed the articles by Viktor Mikhailovich Akatkin, dedicated to our Days of Poetry, and found this interesting information: in the 56th year there was a Poetry Day, which was held by geologists at their faculty, inviting friends from other faculties. But already in 1958, our poetry festival was declared a university-wide one.

The program was opened by the elder of Voronezh rock and roll, singer-songwriter, composer and singer, artist of the Voronezh Philharmonic Oleg "Prince" Pozharsky:

For the first time I participated in the Poetry Day in 1970. I don’t remember anything, except that our professor Nemirovsky came out to read poetry, they were about the war. Since then, I regularly attend Poetry Days.

Performed with congratulatory word Vyacheslav Lyuty - Soviet, Russian literary and theater critic, member of the Writers' Union of Russia, executive secretary of the Podyom magazine. The poet, composer and singer-songwriter Andrey Aparkin, who writes poetry himself and transcribes the poems of great poets into songs, performed two compositions based on the poems " Winter morning» A.S. Pushkin and "Sky and Stars" by M.Yu. Lermontov.

Galina Tsarakova completed the main part of the Day of Poetry, paying tribute to the memory of the departed poets of the Voronezh State University. Galina Alexandrovna also said that the poems of some authors were not included in the almanac, because Email, to which the poems were sent, was hacked. According to another source, this is Galina Tsarakova’s “self-justification”: she was the former leader and host of the VSU Poetry Days, and such an “overthrow” greatly offended Galina Alexandrovna, so when some poets continued to send their letters to Galina Tsarakova’s mail, she basically did not become forward them to the new host.

Those whose poems were included in the almanac received their author's copy free of charge. Other guests of the evening could buy the collection for a nominal fee.

The traditional part of the Poetry Days is an open mic. The winners of the Poetry Day this year were Elvira Parhots, Vasily Natsentov, Aman Rakhmetov and Viktor Batrachenko. They received the "Earthly Cradle" - a collection of poems by VSU poets for the early years.

Sitting for four hours is still quite tiring, many guests were very tired and left earlier, - said the poet Aman Rakhmetov. - But these are all trifles compared to what the compilers of the almanac did. He is beautiful. And it's free. In my 3rd year, I just sat in the same conference hall on the Day of Poetry, and could not even dream that I would be published somewhere. I liked that the poets were interviewed in a very organized, fast and high-quality manner, their works were collected - this is a huge job. Colossal. Thank you for this, and everything else is trifles. First of all, it pleases that all "this" ( poetry evenings, magazines, literature) in general.

The Almanac is good. Sasha Sundukov tried to make a quality layout. It seems to me that in the matter of publishing, one should act in the Leninist way - “less is better, but better!” And if a poet has five verses, of which four are weak and one is strong, then it is better to print this one. Then the level of the almanac as a whole becomes higher.
