Of course, it's good that there are such materials, but, let's be honest, they won't give you anything but scattered knowledge and some exercises. You will know the passages, but there will not be a wide understanding of where and how to apply them. In general, for more selective fans of playing the guitar, these courses will not be enough - the hand of an excellent specialist is already needed here. For those who are looking for him, I can advise my electric guitar teacher, Nikolai Nikolaevich Sokolov. I have been working with him for a little more than three and a half years, and I must say that I have never regretted my choice.
Firstly, he is very easy to communicate with, it is really comfortable to work with him. Secondly, with it you can study compositions of any level of complexity and practically all kinds of guitar playing techniques. Thirdly, I really like the way Nikolai explains the theory. In fact, skype classes are practically no different from live classes. The only thing that the teacher cannot do is to take your physical hand and put it in the right place, but he can easily show and explain how to do it. If, nevertheless, skype classes confuse you in some way and seem ineffective, then, I hope, my example will clearly show that all this is not so. I lost my sight a long time ago, and I don’t see what Nikolai shows me on the screen, I don’t even see my hands and fingers on the fingerboard, but this doesn’t prevent me from fully practicing and mastering serious works. What can we say about people with vision - there are definitely no problems in skype classes. And, of course, the fifth point, here I will manage with just a couple of words: Nikolai is a virtuoso guitarist! Of course, as always, evil tongues will begin to write: “Here, sheer boasting. It cannot be that there are no minuses - everything is ordered. Especially for such people, I will draw out a couple of relative minuses from nothing in order to amuse their anger. Perhaps for some, the time of a lesson of 45 minutes will seem small, but I assure you, if you sit and do business, this is enough. Personally, we manage to cover a fairly large volume of works in one lesson. For example, this time was enough for us to go through 80 percent of the first part of the composition “Perpetual Motion” by Nicola Paganini - who knows, he will understand, there are not a few notes there. Well, the last relative minus: no matter how high-speed Internet is, it will still have a micro delay, so you won’t be able to fully perform anything to the accompaniment of a teacher. Homework is assigned, in which you start from the first lesson to come up with your own solos. In order to do this, you need to learn many different phrases, know the standard pentatonic scales in five positions, as well as pentatonic scales with an added blues note, all modes, intervals, triads, arpeggios: subdominant and dominant tonic, seventh chords, field chord schemes. Every guitarist should know and be able to play all this. Having learned some musical phrase, we will have to understand in what key and with what sound it begins, then build it in other keys. Each student will be able to do this, as in the lesson he will receive the necessary knowledge for this. First diatonic, then deviations and also jazz moves on 2-5-1.

Professional

A program for those who want to get closer to the professional level of the game. In this program, convenient material has been selected, there are no rigid frameworks. We do almost everything the same as in "professional +", but without strict frames and time. If you wish, we take the exam at any time (upon readiness), but better once every half a year. We work on improvisation, play technical exercises and, of course, compositions. Learning musical material is always a laborious process. It includes practicing complex passages, working on the sound, as well as playing under the minus and setting up effects for the guitar. Before starting to learn any composition, the student must first properly prepare his hands for it, namely, to be played and be able to play various kinds of exercises that may be encountered along the way of learning. In the early stages, it does not hurt to play cover versions of other guitarists. This is how we learn from their experience. Professional +

This program is for those who want to play the guitar to the maximum and achieve a professional level of playing. The program course is very complex and is designed for 3-4 years, depending on the progress of the student. The course includes a complete preparation: from the very basics to understanding notes, intervals, triads, seventh chords to improvisation and playing in a group. Not everyone will be able to pass and endure this course, as I tried to make it absolutely the same as if you were learning to play the guitar in a music college. It requires total immersion in the learning process. In order to engage in this program, you need a lot of free time. Many tasks are set and their timely execution is required (namely, timely). After each completed material (once a quarter) we pass an exam. After completing this course, you will be able to understand music, know its basics and not only play compositions, but also be able to create your own tracks and develop further as a musical personality. You can also teach guitar yourself.

Since everyone has their own abilities, someone learns faster, and someone slower. Therefore, each student draws up his own program according to his strength and therefore how much time he has time to learn his homework. Doing homework is the basis of growth, as the student does it, so is his level of development. Regarding how much time you need to study, we can say that if a person wants to really progress from guitar lessons and huge growth, then at least two hours a day, or even more!

One of the most important points that should be shown correctly and taught to do is the setting of the hands. How to hold a mediator correctly. 3. Cost and payment for classes.

4. The time of the classes and their duration.

4.1. The lesson starts at the time agreed in advance by the Teacher and the Student.

4.3. Lateness of the Student does not affect the end time of the lesson.

5. Skipping and rescheduling classes.

5.1. Absence of classes by the Student is allowed only for a good reason, subject to prior notification.
5.2. Good reasons are circumstances of a force majeure nature.
5.3. A preliminary notification is considered to be an oral message from the Student about the impossibility of conducting a lesson for at least in 24 hours before the start time.
5.4. In case of fulfillment clause 5.3. class can be rescheduled without changing its cost and duration at a time convenient for both parties.
5.5. In case of failure clause 5.3. and if the Student fails to communicate via Skype at the appointed time, the lesson is still subject to payment. 5.6. If, due to missing classes at the initiative of the Student who paid for a subscription in the amount of 4 lessons, it was not possible to conduct all classes within 5 weeks from the date of payment, then the recalculation is not carried out, and the missed classes are burned out.
