To this day, I confess, I have only remotely heard something about this event. However, when the Victory Parade ended and I had an alternative in the form of wires from heavy equipment with Khodynka field, I ended up choosing to march down Tverskaya Street.
When I understood the essence of this action, I was simply delighted with this idea.
