If you are fired from work, advice from a psychologist. Forced downtime or a gift of fate: how to cope with job loss

An urgent problem for employees leaving work: how not to get upset, survive the dismissal and continue their professional and personal growth. To prepare for the end of an employment relationship, you need to know the signs of an impending dismissal, and in order to recover from it, it is important to realize your value as an employee.

Preparing to leave work

There is nothing worse than suddenly losing a job. Here is a list of signs that may indicate that a person wants to be fired:

  • the subordinate is assigned fewer tasks;
  • superiors rarely call to themselves (for criticism, or discussion of the work performed);
  • some of the work is delegated to someone else.

As a rule, the last straw for many in this matter is the moment when a person finds on the Internet his position in his company, for which they are looking for an employee. Of course, after this, most begin to worry that they will soon have to say goodbye to the workplace.

What to do if you are threatened with dismissal?

If there are persistent suspicions that the boss will soon offer to leave the company, then you don’t need to go all out and deal with the boss, as well as express everything that has accumulated during the work in your hearts.

This will only aggravate the situation, and the subordinate may lose a letter of recommendation, which can be important when looking for a new job. In addition, the director may have doubts about the dismissal, and the conflict will only push him to this.

If a person suspects that the contract will be terminated soon, then it is best to calm down and start looking for a job. In most cases, people manage to find a new place even before the moment they are told about the dismissal by their boss, they just need to start looking as soon as possible.

Advice! If there are guesses about the imminent departure from work, then you should not openly look for vacancies if everything suits you at work, and the person does not want to leave the company. If the manager finds out that the subordinate is looking for other options, he will decide that the person himself does not mind resigning, and is more likely to offer to write a statement.

In addition, the manager can terminate the contract with a person on his own initiative only if there are certain factors.

Under what circumstances can the boss himself terminate the contract:

  • in the presence of disciplinary violations (absenteeism, lateness, and so on);
  • if a person has committed theft of property;
  • in case of inconsistency of the qualifications of the position held;
  • when reducing.

If the director wants to stop the employment relationship, but one of the above circumstances is missing, then the person can sue him.

How to find a new job?

When people get laid off, some of them think it's hard to find a new job and become insecure. If the contract was terminated with a person, but he feels that he cannot cope, then you can attend advanced training courses, or find a job through an acquaintance. If the subordinate left peacefully, and he has good relations with colleagues and superiors, then you can find out about the trainings and seminars that are held in the organization from which the employee was fired.

It is especially difficult to overcome depression for those who are 50 years old or older - many believe that because of their age they are unclaimed and will never find a job. In this case, it makes sense not only to go to advanced training courses, if possible, but also to a psychotherapist. A specialist will help you overcome this period in your life and convince yourself that all is not lost. In addition, you should not despair also because so many employers need experienced employees.

First of all, after the termination of the contract, you should not spend a lot of your nerves and spoil relations with colleagues or a former boss. If the director illegally terminated the contract, then it is better to go to court or the labor inspectorate than to waste time on insults.

Advice! If the manager offers new vacancies, or write a letter of recommendation, you should not refuse, even if the relationship with the manager was bad. It is better to squeeze everything you can from your last job, as this will help you get a new one.

What should be done after dismissal? The most important thing is that you don’t need to get depressed and assume that a black streak has begun. Life consists not only of a career, but also of other equally important components - hobbies, friends, family. If complexes and self-doubt appear, it is better to take a short rest for a while, with severe depression it is better to immediately contact a psychotherapist. The emotional state is very important, as a person who has a breakdown is less likely to find a suitable place for himself.

If a dismissed subordinate decided to take a break, then this should not be delayed for a long time. You can take a break for 2 weeks, or a month, but then it’s better to start looking for a job, as some skills may be lost over a long period.

Also, you do not need to agree to the first place that will be offered if it does not suit the employee. In this case, you need to take a sober look at things - know what you want, and correlate your capabilities - the level of training, education, and so on.

Is it worth it to return if they call back?

It happens that the management calls the dismissed person back, but it is better not to agree to such proposals. Practice shows that even if an employee had a good relationship with the team and management, he still begins to trust the authorities less after the last dismissal. However, if the subordinate at the old job has better working conditions (and salary) and good relations with colleagues and the director, then you can return to the company.

Being fired can be compared to the stress a person gets after a divorce or the death of a loved one. Hands down, life becomes meaningless, the future does not exist.

At first, it is difficult to objectively assess the situation, especially to see the benefits of such a situation. The idea that everything that is not done is done for the better does not even arise. What good can be in the fact that someone took away the source of income? Someone else has decided that it's time for you to tie your belt tighter, and you are worth nothing in this life. The first desire comes to take revenge, screw up in the end and do everything so that the authorities bite their elbows from such a decision.

You need to leave with dignity. After all, his future life will largely depend on how the dismissed person behaves.

You can go into a steep dive, and you can’t get out of it. Or you can pull off a great trick and emerge victorious. No one is immune from anything, especially from losing a job. Any loss entails a decrease in self-esteem. The husband threw it - it means you are unlucky and ugly. Kicked out of work - so stupid and unreliable. Self-esteem is slipping down with furious force, and resentment is gaining momentum.

  • Why were you fired?
  • Am I the worst employee ever?
  • Always and everything is decided for me.
  • I'm a jerk, a loser and unlucky.

When such thoughts come to mind, you must immediately fight back.

The opinion of one person, even the boss, means absolutely nothing. Does not reflect the true reasons and attitude towards you.

Perhaps the godfather or matchmaker of the boss should just come to your place. Or maybe you are too sexy, and the boss's wife did not like it. Yes, you never know! Often you have nothing to do with it, or nothing to do with it, but indirectly.

Life did not begin with work, and it will not end with it. In any situation, you should always look for a positive experience.

Do not complain about the injustice of life, but ask yourself: “What did life want to show by this?” If you find the answer, you will rise one step higher in your development.

Practice proves that two groups of people most often lose their jobs:

  1. inert;
  2. workaholics.

These are the two opposites.

  1. The former live by inertia, work because they have to, without moral or material satisfaction. He does not quit himself, because he has already given up on everything a long time ago, he does not do what he likes, does not develop, but simply serves time, as in prison. And when such a person is fired, then life simply informs through other people's lips and actions that the person has ceased to live, but simply exists, like a plant.
  2. The second (workaholics) replaced their whole life with work. Work for them and mother, and wife, and children. At this time, the Ego weakens, a person tries to be comfortable and better, completely forgetting about his true desires. Life does not know how to joke and endure for a long time, and by dismissal it shows a person that work is far from the whole life. This is a frontal attack so that a person changes his mind. Why is such an employee being fired? And what boss wants to hear someone's frequent breathing in his back? We have no irreplaceable ones, therefore, those who strive to take a higher place are removed.

So what should you do if you get fired?

No tantrum

Resist the temptation to throw a scandal and throw a tantrum for the spectacle of detractors. You should swallow offensive words, “put on” a smile and “march” the last exit.

No need to try to steal, erase, corrupt information on the computer, win over clients and frame the boss, for example, in court, by selling confidential information. All such actions will sooner or later backfire on you with losses:

  • The market segments are actually very narrow and your antics will soon be known to potential employers.
  • If you're waiting for your ex-boss to truly regret firing you in the future, the exact opposite steps should be taken.

Pull yourself together, and on the last working day say goodbye warmly, say that you worked with pleasure, and this experience will be very useful to you. Of course, they may not call you back, but they will definitely give you a good reference.

People are greeted by their clothes, and make sure that you are led by the mind, not by the hysteria.

Sobriety, balance, composure and laconicism are the main qualities of professionals. Therefore, even if you were fired for biased reasons, do not be zealous in righteous anger. Conflict will not lead to good, but will ruin your reputation. "Hot heads" will always lose to "cold mind".

Keep your dignity, go proudly and even affably. The time will come when you will be proud of yourself.

Leave right

Leaving your job is not leaving your wife or husband. Leave all these attacks of pride, they say, I don’t need anything from you, take everything for yourself. It is necessary to work out two weeks according to the law - work it out. You need to get settlement and go around the offices with a bypass sheet - do it.

Dismissal is not a dead end, it is a new step.

Remember that you were fired, not thrown out, your paths diverged, not you were betrayed.

Do not look down at your feet, as if apologizing for the fact that your spirit was not dispelled instantly in the office.

Don't hang your nose

Fired? Wonderful! Now is the time to think and realize childhood dreams. Perhaps you are far from being an ordinary accountant, but an artist. A positive attitude is half the battle on the road to happiness.

There are no hopeless situations, even from the most-most, as a rule, there are four ways out.

Even if you lost in a corporate war and lost your income for a while, this is no reason to doubt your own mind, strength and luck. There will be a holiday on your street, especially now you have time to organize this holiday yourself. Away with depression and despondency.

Remember that sometimes a great flight starts with a kick under the ass. Take a run and forward to new achievements.

Choose your job carefully

If you were fired from the position of financial director, then you should not immediately go to the bakery culinary. Bake pies at home for the sweetness of your family. If your former boss fired you, this does not mean that you are a bad employee and not a professional in your field.

Do not waste your time on trifles, do not settle for crumbs when a whole ruddy loaf is waiting for you.

Think about the area in which you worked, really you like it? Maybe it's time to radically change your life?

Relax

Consider that you were not fired, but you took a vacation at your own expense. Vacation is a good thing. So be on vacation, and not overboard life. Read, attend courses, go to the sea, which has not been visited for the last ten years. Engage in needlework, build a bathhouse, or at least clean up the pantry, and make yourself a workshop there.

Don't let the blues steal your free time and inscribe the symptoms of a loser into your character. There will be a lot of free time in your life, and these voids need to be filled with something really worthwhile.

According to psychological practice, such a situation is a nutritional component for the manifestation of neurological diseases, unless, of course, stress, fears for the future and low self-esteem are brought close to the heart. A person can fall into a vicious circle: falling into depression due to lack of work, he cannot find it.

If this mental state lasts for a long time, then depression can be replaced by a physical illness.

This effect is often observed in laid-off and retired people. For example, immediately after retirement, a pensioner begins to age rapidly, as if he allows himself to get sick, because now there is time for this.

cut ties

No one forbids maintaining “hatted” acquaintances. Let it be sometimes superficial. The former team in this case appears in the form of a handkerchief during a cold.

Each time you wipe your tears, you will be charged with the old infection. You were hurt when you were fired, and you will be hurt in the same way every time you live the life of the past team.

You don’t need to find out who came to your place, how things are going at the company, where the boss went to relax, etc. And in the future, having got a better job, do not rush to immediately drag one of the former employees.

Do not take old defeats with you into a new life. Of course, it happens that a true friend can be found in the old team, but this rarely happens.

You spend too much time on the road

If your company's office is an hour and a half drive from your home, taking into account traffic jams, then your working day increases by three hours (including the round trip). You will have practically no time left for family, friends, sports, hobbies. And picking up a child from kindergarten is generally an impossible task for you.

Employees often find themselves hostage to distance when the company's management decides to move (builds a new office in another area or cuts costs and rents an office and warehouse center on the outskirts). Sooner or later you will think about what your life is spent on if every day you get home at best by 7 pm, and at 6 am you have to get up and go back. The best way out is to look for a place closer to home (or, if your family is ready, rent an apartment near the office).

Employer fails to comply

You got a job, you were promised a certain level of salary after a trial period. It ended a long time ago, and your reward did not even come close to the amount originally declared. Or you were guaranteed a “white” salary, but in the end they give you money in an envelope. Or your sick leave caused an extremely negative reaction. Or you are regularly forced to work overtime without being paid for the extra hours. In general, when the boss is not ready to perform his duties, but at the same time requires perfect work from you, your motivation is predictably reduced. Do not tolerate discomfort, because sooner or later it will kill the desire to walk in the office.

You come to work to fulfill your duties, and not be friends with the team. However, everyone wants to have good relations with colleagues, communicate and effectively carry out joint projects. However, sometimes aggression and psychological pressure in the team become so pronounced that there is no other way out but to quit. The same decision comes to mind if you are faced with an aggressive leadership style, when the boss constantly blames you, insults or ignores you.

Sometimes mobbing is part of the company's corporate ethics (for example, when it is encouraged to achieve a result at any cost). The situation in the team is heating up to the limit, only the strongest remain. It is hardly worth fighting to remain among them. After all, you will have to pay with health and emotional well-being.

The company is close to bankruptcy

Sometimes high competition, opportunistic processes in the industry or weak management lead the company to the abyss. The employer withholds wages, all additional bonuses are canceled, employees discuss gloomy forecasts. The best way out in such a situation is to leave without waiting for the recorded bankruptcy (termination of activities) of the company. Otherwise, you will create a losing situation for yourself: potential employers will understand that you are looking for a new place out of desperation, which will significantly reduce your cost in the labor market.

Let's say you do what you love, you have an ideal team, you go to work on foot. But something is still wrong. Check the situation - ask yourself some important questions regarding different areas of your career path.

Development of useful skills. What are you currently studying? If you do not master new knowledge, will there be such an opportunity in the future? Will your current skills help you reach the next level in your career?

Raise. Do you have growth prospects? Will you be given more responsibilities over time and will you be able to actively influence the decision-making and development strategy of the company?

Salary and benefits. Will the company and manager invest in your training? Do you receive any bonuses that cannot be found elsewhere? How much will your income increase over the next year?

career path. Do you like your development trajectory? Do you have a plan for what you will achieve and how your current job will help you in this?

Perhaps, after completing the exercise, you realized that it was time to say goodbye to your current place. If you have become a specialist in any field, you have extensive work experience, you are regularly approached for expertise on professional issues, then you can think about starting your own business or. This path is comfortable and relatively safe, because hired work has already taught you to prioritize, maintain discipline and build effective communications. This means you have a high chance of success.

In this article, we will talk about how to survive being fired from a job. Almost everyone has faced this problem at least once in their life. And dealing with this is not always easy, especially if you liked the work and you put a lot of effort into it. The approaching retirement age can complicate matters. So, what to do and how not to let yourself give up?

Reasons for leaving work

We list those specialists who may fall into the risk zone:

  • Workers who stop there, who do not improve their skills, do not improve their skills.
  • The results of the employee's activities were not noticed by anyone.
  • People who believe that they are not dependent on anyone.
  • Employees who surround themselves with henchmen and ignore constructive criticism.
  • People who do not get along well with colleagues.
  • Those who refuse to mention their career achievements.

Consequences of dismissal

What can you expect if you are fired from your job? The first thing you will experience is shock and stress. The familiar world around a person is collapsing, acquaintances remain in the past, self-esteem drops sharply. Often a large number of layoffs occur in crisis situations, at a time when the authorities seek to keep only the most valuable and promising employees. And this leads to the fact that a person who finds himself in such a situation starts to get into his head thoughts that he is the worst of all, unable to achieve anything in life, etc.

You can’t get hung up on this, you need to distract yourself from gloomy thoughts. Think about the fact that everything is relative, because someone is better in one, someone in another. Do not forget that this failure can be the beginning of something new.

Now let's take a closer look at two great ways to cope with depression and start looking for a new job.

First way

How to deal with the stress of being fired? Psychologists have long proven that the emotional state of a dismissed person is comparable to the feelings that people experience after infidelity or divorce. Therefore, the consequences, especially for those who have a weak psyche, can be the most severe, starting with depression and insomnia, ending with nervous breakdowns. To survive a layoff and stay healthy, you need to follow the tips that we will present below.

Where to begin? Step one

How to survive being fired from work? First you need to go through the main stages of stress, of which there are four:

  • phase of denial. A state of shock, when it is very difficult to realize what is happening around.
  • phase of anger. The first emotion appears - aggression. A person is constantly in a state of irritation, angry at relatives and friends, himself, fate, life.
  • Trading phase. Trying to get back to work by doing something meaningful. For example, bring a new client or prepare a report.
  • phase of depression. The person realizes that all attempts to return are futile.

step two

We continue to describe the algorithm of how to survive the dismissal from work. So, we stopped at the stage of depression. You can not drive your negative emotions inside yourself, you must learn to splash them out. To do this, you need to choose the right way. A gym is a good fit for this purpose. Practice with a punching bag, imagining a boss or an ill-wisher in its place, arrange a marathon race, throwing out aggression in motion.

In no case do not protect yourself from loved ones. Tell your friends about your experience. Once you speak out, it becomes much easier. Gradually, the circumstances of the dismissal will begin to be remembered less and less clearly, and emotions will dull.

Step Three

Remember, if you get fired from your job, it's not the end of the world, because life goes on. However, the negative stages of stress can drag on for several weeks. Don't let them stay with you for long. You can use a special psychological technique, which is called the "Alarm Clock". Mentally, you need to "start" the internal clock for some day. When the "alarm clock rings", start to act actively.

If you managed to survive the phase of negative emotions, then get ready for the stage of acceptance. During this period, you will be able to analyze your behavior and understand what caused the dismissal. This will allow you to comprehend what is happening and help you move forward.

You need to make a list of the positive things that the layoff brought to your life. For example, you got rid of your boss's nagging or your colleagues' nagging.

Step Four

You have been fired from your job. What to do? Distract from emotions and analyze the recorded reasons for dismissal point by point. Do not take seriously such aspects as a crisis, layoffs, a harmful boss, etc. Be honest with yourself, and you may realize that you have unconsciously wanted to quit this job for a long time.

Then think about what profession is closer to you and what you would really like to do. On a piece of paper, write down the knowledge and skills that are required for the chosen job. Take note of the skills you don't have and start filling in the gaps in your education.

Step Five

There are many ways to survive a layoff. The advice of a psychologist convinces of one thing - as soon as the stress has passed and it has become clear what you want next, you need to start looking for a new job. And here you can not limit yourself to one way. It is necessary to use everything possible - ads, Internet sites, acquaintances, employment services, etc.

Try during your search to keep the daily routine that was before the dismissal - stay awake, have breakfast and dinner, do business at the same time. This will help keep you in good shape and not relax. Treat your search for a new job as an exam.

The second way: do not forget about the formalities

Consider another option on how to survive a layoff from work. The occurrence of depression is possible in any case. However, you can slightly switch your attention to the formal side of things.

After the first emotional shock, thoughts will begin to appear that dismissal will ruin your work book and put an end to your career. We need to get rid of these ideas right now. Do not try on the role of a petitioner and do not tremble in front of the director. You still have nothing more to lose, so try to figure it out. Be sure to find out the reason for the dismissal. Do not forget about your rights and labor laws. You cannot be thrown out of the door without a livelihood. Don't let your employer cash in on this as well.

Be sure to control your emotions. Don't let self-pity take over, try to stay calm. When talking to management, do not make threats or get personal. The discussion should be conducted strictly in business language. Study the Labor Code in advance (dismissal and everything connected with it, in particular) and select the paragraphs of the law that you will refer to. Behave decently. A bad relationship with a former employer can make it difficult to find a new job, as superiors may refuse to make recommendations.

Don't treat being fired like the failure of your life. Try to take this as an opportunity to start over. In addition, in the old place you have acquired certain skills and experience that will be useful in later life.

Dismissal of a pensioner

How to survive the dismissal of a pensioner? After all, people of this age are more vulnerable in a similar situation. Often pensioners give the enterprise a lot of energy and stick to it with all their hearts. For them, work has long become an integral and very important part of life. Therefore, it is much more difficult for them to cope with depression.

Were you fired from your job after you retired? What to do? Usually retirees have many friends in the service. Do not forget about them and fence off. Support from loved ones can help. Remember that retirement is a great opportunity to live at your own pleasure. You have a lot of time that you can spend on yourself and your hobbies - walk more often, find a hobby for yourself.

Psychologist's advice for pensioners and people of pre-retirement age

The most terrible thing is to lose a place for those who have very little left before retirement. The reasons for leaving a job may vary, but you need to make sure that they are legal.

By this time, a person has accumulated vast experience, perfected his skills and is well versed in his field, but employers prefer to hire young people. It is especially difficult for women in this situation.

At an older age, they no longer think about what area they want to work in, since everything has long been decided and it’s too late to change anything. You need to analyze your skills and knowledge, and then determine the industry where they can be most in demand. You can find a suitable vacancy with the help of neighbors, acquaintances and even former colleagues. The latter are especially valuable in this regard, as they continue to rotate in the right professional circles.

You also need to pay attention to your appearance. During the interview, you should be friendly and confident. At the same time, you need to be prepared for rejection. You can hear “no” many times, so there is no need to despair and fall into the blues. Try not to lose your fighting spirit and do not forget about the power of persuasion.

Today, the main requirement for a potential employee is the ability to work on a computer. Therefore, you will have to master this skill if you are applying for a good position.

TK: dismissal. The legislative framework

Any dismissal must be based on Article 80 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Be sure to familiarize yourself with this law and read all the amendments that have been made to it.

If the case is complicated, then it will be useful to contact a lawyer. You must make sure that everything is happening according to the law and the boss is not trying to deceive you without paying the due compensation. In a stressful situation, people rarely think about the legal side of the matter, as they are in a phase of denial or anger. And when emotions are dulled, it is already too late to demand something. If you yourself can not figure out the legal subtleties, contact your loved ones for help.

Work occupies a very important place in the life of most of us. Loss of a job is firmly in the top ten most stressful situations, slightly inferior to divorce in terms of the strength of the negative impact on the psyche.

Why are we so afraid To lose a job, be fired? Why does the news of being fired cause such trauma to our psyche?

It's not just about the loss of a source of livelihood. The secret of stress lies in the deep, ancient instincts of man. Our ancestors lived in communities, and they knew very well: expulsion from the pack means, if not death, then vegetation, dangers and troubles. Dismissal is perceived by us in the same way as our primitive ancestors perceived expulsion from the pack.

In addition, the temptation to engage in self-digging is always very great - “I am such a loser, a loser, good for nothing, if they fired me.”

It is interesting that even dismissal from an unloved job, which you have long wanted to change, causes grief.

But is it really so bad?

What to do if you are fired

There will always be more work in this world than there are people willing to do it. At any level, in any specialty. A good specialist a good job most often finds itself. All that is required of you is to become a good specialist. One that is torn off with hands. If earlier you did not have enough time to improve your skills, then it's time to do it and rise to a new level.

Getting fired gives you a great opportunity to learn a lesson. You need to carefully analyze - why were you fired? Were you undisciplined? Did you get few results? Failed to build relationships with colleagues and superiors? Considered themselves indispensable and demonstrated this with complacency? Were you quietly going with the flow, fulfilling the necessary minimum with minimum quality? Do not be cunning, at least alone with yourself. Admit your mistakes and take on the correction. At some point, it would still have to be done.

Everything that happens - happens for the better. Dismissal is not the loss of a job, but the acquisition of new opportunities. It is possible that it is dismissal will give you the impetus you need to make positive changes. Up to a radical change in the field of activity.

Very often, when dismissing people, they make mistakes, the consequences of which interfere later. find a new job and improve your life. Psychologists advise:

  • Leave with dignity. The announcement of a layoff is often shocking. Some become hysterical and start crying, others become angry, others fall into a silent depression. All this is wrong and not constructive. Neither tears nor aggression will help you stay in a company that is determined to get rid of you. The best thing to do is to accept this fact with dignity, say goodbye to your colleagues and ask your bosses to give you recommendations for a new job. However, a calm and polite departure should not prevent you from carefully finding out everything about the payments you are entitled to - severance pay, compensation for unused vacation, etc. No offense should prevent you from receiving everything that is rightfully due to you.
  • Do not suppress negative emotions. Give yourself time and opportunity to vent your resentment, annoyance, resentment. But not in public! You can talk with close friends or relatives, go to the forest and shout and even cry if you want. But do not get carried away - the negative sucks like quicksand. One or two days to get rid of resentment and despondency - and that's enough. Don't let yourself become a victim. This is hopeless.
  • Start looking for a job right away. Tell all your acquaintances and friends that you are ready to offer your services to a good company. Call potential employers every day, look for jobs online and in local publications. Take the time to write a good resume. If necessary, contact a specialist - it justifies itself.
  • Pay attention to your own beauty and health. Whatever your track record, a lot depends on appearance. Health shines in the eyes and smile, it helps to keep the back straight and the shoulders proudly straightened. Take advantage of relative freedom: undergo an examination, treat what is needed, visit a dentist, cosmetologist, stylist. Go in for fitness, arrange for yourself the correct daily routine and healthy nutrition.
  • Plan your finances for at least 6-10 months just in case. If you have unpaid loans, try contacting the bank so that you can lower your interest rate or freeze payments while you are looking for a new job. Banks sometimes meet the needs of customers, so why not use this opportunity?
  • Don't lock yourself in. The more you communicate with a variety of people, the more likely it will be that one of them will be able to help you.
  • Don't lock yourself into habits. Are you sure that you want to do the same thing all your life? Perhaps your old hobby can become a new source of income instead of a boring profession? Or are you ready to try yourself as a freelancer?
  • Don't give up temporary work. Even if it is slightly below the level of your competence and is paid worse than your past job. A small salary is much more than no salary at all.
  • Believe in yourself. Lifetime employment does not exist. Changing jobs is okay. Your best work is still waiting for you. But in order to find it, you need to get up from the couch, put yourself in order, smile at the world and take a step. One of many on a new path to success.
