I recommend to everyone. I would like to go next year to the Ai River with the same instructors.

Amazon Elena

Thanks guys for a great weekend! Our team (which the instructors called the Amazons) rafted on August 17-18, 2019)) we had a great time! Everything was delicious, satisfying, warm)) We would like to mention Alexey!!! But without his mood, without his songs, without his voice - all this would not be right !!! Thanks a lot!!!

Margarita and Murad Zhuravlev

August 12-16 rafted down the river. Chusovoy with instructor Alexei. I liked everything very much, good and clear organization. I didn’t have to think about tents / sleeping bags / campfire equipment and carry it all on my own, everything was provided by Active-Ural. Three full meals a day, including salads and all sorts of sweets, cookies, sausages, so you can also not take food with you at all. The instructor is highly qualified, well versed in the features of the area, cooks well, sings and photographs. Didn't think it could be that good. Next year we plan to raft with Aktiv-Ural.

Catherine

We rested with the team on a VIP-raft on August 18, 2019 - everything was organized perfectly! The bus picked us up on time. Upon arrival, the raft had already set a table with tea and sandwiches. The instructor guys - Boris and Aleksey - are just great guys! Boris took over the entire preparation of our barbecue and cooked a wonderful fish soup! Everything was great, sincerely and the rest was a success. Thank you for a wonderful alloy! We'll come back to you :)

Natalia

Last weekend, August 10-11, we went rafting down the Chusovaya. Impressions are the best! Many thanks to the instructors! They took care of us like family. Everyone is very friendly, energetic and loving their job. It was constantly felt that there were people who work conscientiously nearby! The trip was organized very well. Every detail was thought out and well organized. And entertained, and well fed, and helped in everything. In a word, well done! If you are thinking about whether to go rafting, do not hesitate. The incredible beauty of the Ural nature will be remembered for a long time. "Active - Ural" - real professionals. The best in the business! Special thanks to the chef. His dishes are admirable! And Ekaterina is just a decoration of the team of instructors!

Proper rest after work

How rest properly after work, and for what kind of work, what kind of rest is needed
You came to work on Monday and already feel tired, and the long-awaited weekend flew by once again, and you didn’t notice it?

This means that you not resting properly.
A complete and proper rest so necessary and useful for every person, because the modern hectic pace of life, constant emotional and physical stress can lead to various health problems.

How right organize your free time to relieve fatigue after a working day

Back in the 19th century, it was proved by the Russian scientist Sechenov I.M. that fatigue and fatigue can be removed by changing the type of activity, i.e. at outdoor activities, and not at absolute rest of the organism (which is passive recreation).

In his works, it was proved that if in the process of work there is an active switching of activity from one muscle group and the nerve centers that control them to another, then the tired muscle fibers restore their working capacity much faster. These physiological processes determine the benefits for our body during outdoor activities.
Thus, when coming home after a working day, it would be advisable to change the type of activity, for effective rest and recuperation.

Let's consider after what kind of work, how best rest.
In general, human labor can be conditionally divided or classified into three main categories - intellectual, emotional and physical labor.

Intellectual labor- this is if at work you are mainly engaged in mental work, solving any complex problems.

Mentally working people should absolutely not sit at home in front of the TV or lie on the bed on weekends.

For such people, a lot of physical activity in the form of travel is useful and necessary. active rest, rest at nature- perfect option.
Communicate more with friends or family, go to a club, go bowling, play billiards or other outdoor games with them.
But if you do not plan to leave your house, then take care of household chores, such as cleaning - this type of activity will also not go unnoticed for you and will provide quite a decent physical activity.
Make gifts to your loved ones, because. psychologists around the world claim that this contributes to inner satisfaction.

emotional labor- this is constant contact and communication with other people, such work for social workers, teachers, doctors, etc.

People in these professions useful rest and recuperation, it is better to communicate less.
Walking in the park after work, cycling, hiking in the forest for mushrooms or berries are great options for you, and you can also do more active outdoor recreation (rafting, traveling, fishing, etc.) - these are very interesting and useful lessons.
Physical activity in the summer cottage - will also bring only benefits.
But of course, know the measure in everything.

Physical work- hard work contributes to fatigue of the muscles and the whole body.
If at work you are mainly engaged in physical labor, then at home it is better to take up tasks that require at least minimal mental stress, but this of course does not mean at all that you should limit mobility and forget about outdoor activities.
For effective recuperation, walks in nature are very effective. Take a walk in the park or in the forest, go fishing, and in general, staying in the fresh air will only benefit your body, enrich blood hemoglobin with oxygen and ensure full recovery of strength during sleep.

We offer all outdoor activities: Rafting on the rivers of the Urals:

The lifestyle of a modern person forces him to spend a lot of energy, concentrate and keep many areas of his life under control.

All this causes the accumulation of fatigue and, as a result, provokes depression. Therefore, it is very important to be able to relax properly. How to relax after work, we will describe in detail in our article.

Fundamentals of proper recuperation

In order for the performance to be at a high level, and the mood to be kept on a positive note, it is necessary not only to work well, but also to have a good rest. Let's start with the basic rules:

  • To relax and throw off the load accumulated during the working day, you also need strength. Experts advise to stop working before all the forces leave you;
  • Do not forget about changing activities, active and passive work, their competent alternation will help increase productivity and energize;
  • Healthy sleep is a mandatory component of proper rest, because its quality affects physical and mental health;
  • Rest should be not only passive, but also active. Extreme sports and gym classes are perfect;
  • You should get rid of the habit of taking work home and dumping all the affairs of the week on the weekend, since this time is intended specifically for recuperation.

Rest after work

Many people mistakenly think that aimless wallowing on the couch refers to relaxation. In fact, relaxation of such a plan does not lead to anything good.

Yes, you are resting physically, but the brain can scroll through plans for tomorrow or events that happened today during the work day. It is better to go for a bike ride, to the sauna or swimming pool.

Massage is excellent for relaxation. You can carry out both self-massage and visit a specialist who will help relieve stiffness and muscle block.

Literature will help to distract from gray everyday life. According to studies, reading calms, helps to relax.

The most popular types of recreation

We have already talked a little about relaxation methods, but there are five most used relaxation methods:

  • Sleep lasting 6-8 hours. It will help restore strength, give good spirits. It is better to go to bed before 22:00. To do this, the bedroom must be ventilated, which will enrich the room with oxygen;
  • Visiting cultural events. People often choose this way of rest. Many attend concerts, theaters and cinemas, various exhibitions. It helps to get away from the hustle and bustle and tune in to the positive.
  • Home family movie screenings. A fairly common type of recreation, when relatives gather near the screen, drink tea and watch their favorite movie. This contributes to relaxation and pleasant pastime;
  • . They help to relax after work and express themselves in a creative aspect;

Cosmetic care. In fact, not only women prefer to spend their leisure time in this way. Many representatives of the stronger half visit salons, take care of themselves, treat spas and other procedures for the beauty of the face and body with trepidation.

Self-care allows you to combine physical health care and enjoy the result at the same time.

Day off is for relaxation

If you have at least one day off a week, be sure to dedicate this day to rest from the bustle of work. This time can be spent with family, friends or alone.

At the weekend, you can go to nature, organize a picnic in the city park, take a mini-hike, gather friends for a team game of volleyball, etc. The main thing is that the lesson brings you joy and helps you distract yourself from work affairs.

At the end of the day, you can take a bath or a contrast shower, which will help relieve fatigue and consolidate the result.

Gymnastics for stress relief

Many of us, returning home, feel very tired after a day's work. Everyone has their own recipe for recovery, but there is a universal one - this is gymnastics.

For those who lead a sedentary lifestyle, special emphasis should be placed on warming up and strengthening the spine and its muscles, as well as eliminating blood stasis in the pelvic organs.

People whose work is associated with constant stay on their feet should pay attention to the condition of the lower extremities, effective prevention of varicose veins with the help of special exercises and drugs to relieve heaviness in the legs.

Those who spend a lot of time at a computer monitor should take care not only of correct posture, but also of their eyes. Eye exercises should be done every half hour to an hour. Gymnastics will help relieve tension, strengthen the eye muscles and help maintain vision.

Gymnastics will help improve blood circulation, cheer up and tune in to rest after work, so it must be done every day.

Leisure for men and women

Strange as it may seem, but the relaxation of men and women is in a sense different concepts. Women can relax after work, leafing through a glossy magazine, doing knitting or floristry. And men can relax by watching a football match, hockey or just visiting a bathhouse with friends.

The division of rest into male and female is a very relative concept, but still it has a place to be. Since the same needlework can be perceived not as a way to find balance and relax, but as another type of work activity.

It is worth noting that for a good rest there is a need for a sufficient amount of energy. Therefore, breaks in work should be done throughout the day, so that by the evening the reserves of forces remain at a high level.

No matter how strange it may sound, but being able to relax and rest is a lot of work, a real art that not many people own. We hope that our article will help you learn how to spend time after a hard day in an active, fun and beneficial way for body and soul.

Alex Soojong-Kim Pan, an American psychologist and artificial intelligence researcher who works as a consultant in Silicon Valley and a visiting researcher at Stanford University, knows a lot about this. Sujeong-Kim Pan's latest book is called Rest and talks about how to rest to make your work efficient.

It would seem that there is something difficult - not to work, and so everyone knows how. Recreation, however, is a little more complicated.

Before you relax, you need to overcome at least two powerful resistance factors: external and internal. On the one hand, the idea of a modern successful person implies that he is constantly busy, and it is inconvenient for many to deviate from the “party line”. On the other hand, even when we are on a legitimate vacation, we often simply do not know how to get out of a neurotic state and allow ourselves to relax.

Don't burn out at work

About the reasons that prompted him to write a book on this topic, Alex Soojong-Kim Pan talks like this. After 15 years in Silicon Valley, he began to feel burnout. It was no longer possible to cope with tasks as efficiently as before. What is the first thing an active person does in such a situation? Strives to accommodate as many tasks as possible in the working day. Sujong-Kim Pan did the same, but this did not bring any result - it only became harder to work. But during a sabbatical in Cambridge, thinking and walking slowly every day, he found that he managed to do more useful than during the "real" work, and most importantly, it brought more pleasure.

This led Alex Soojong-Kim Pan to think about how unfair we are today regarding leisure, considering the 80-hour work week as the main means of achieving success. The tech giants create the notion that if you don't work that many hours every week, you're a slacker. However, recently there has been an understanding that rest is not only pleasant, but also useful for performing work tasks.

Alex Soojong-Kim Pan talks about his book.

Companies such as Basecamp and Treehouse have begun phasing out evening texting on current projects and cutting back on workdays. A hundred years ago, Henry Ford showed that you can be productive for 8 hours a day instead of 10. And these modern companies prove that we don't have to be online 24/7.

Rest and work in different countries

In Europe, holidays are historically longer and the working day shorter than in the US, where a more powerful course of technological development has been taken. In European countries, many shops are closed on Saturdays and Sundays or are open only in the morning. Today, when talking about work culture, Americans tend to admit that Europe was right about something. Sujeong-Kim Pan notes that Mexico and South Korea, which have more working days than Scandinavia and France and even Germany, have lower productivity numbers.

But in Japan, they completely distinguish the whole phenomenon of death from processing - karoshi. The workload in Japan is very high - while working on large projects, Japanese employees simply do not have time to return home and use the services of capsule hotels located near business centers. As a rule, heart attacks, strokes, as well as sudden exacerbations of chronic diseases due to stress become the cause of death for overworking Japanese. In 2000, overvoltage caused the death of the country's then prime minister, Keizo Obuchi. For two years in office, he took only three days off, and worked at least 12 hours a day.

In a word, because of the inability to rest, we are threatened, at a minimum, with fatigue and a decrease in efficiency, and at a maximum - Japanese-style karoshi. Here are some tips to help avoid this outcome, gives Alex Soojong-Kim Pan.

1. Look up to the greats

According to him, many famous scientists, public figures and artists "dedicated their lives to their work, not days and evenings." When examining their daily routine, one can notice the following: the work that we consider the most important for their legacy (for example, writing the “leading novel of the generation”), they were engaged in only a few hours a day. The rest of the time they traveled, met and corresponded with friends, and indulged in many other pleasant activities.

Here is what, for example, the working day of Charles Darwin looked like. Every day from eight in the morning he worked in the office for an hour and a half. At 9:30 I started reading the morning mail and answering letters. At 10:30 he again returned to more serious work, sometimes going to the greenhouses or to the aviary with animals, where he made observations and conducted experiments. At noon, Darwin would happily announce, “I did a good job today,” and set out on a long walk along his favorite trail from his Down House estate near London. When he returned, he answered a few more letters and retired in order to sleep. Then he walked around the neighborhood again and returned to his office to join the family for dinner at 17:30. That's the whole working day.

According to this schedule, Darwin wrote 19 essays, including On the Origin of Species, a book that still influences our perception of man and nature, and even causes controversy.

John Lubbock, a British public figure and explorer who seemed to be involved in everything in the world (his track record includes politics, banking, archeology, biology, literary creativity), promoted relaxation. As a politician, in 1871 he gave the British extra days of national holidays (Bank Holidays). While doing business, Lubbock divided his day into half-hour blocks and constantly shifted his attention. After finances, he could well reflect on the problem of parthenogenesis in biology. He also spent a lot of time outdoors, playing cricket and golf.

Sujong-Kim Pan notes that both Darwin and John Lubbock had something in common: both lived full lives, did not get stuck in one kind of activity, and at the same time left a significant legacy.

2. Get active

Rest, according to Soojong-Kim Pan, is more than just the absence of work. Many of the most relaxing and rewarding types of recreation (that is, those after which we really feel rested) are active. Exercise, a walk, or a favorite hobby will do more for you than watching TV on the couch.

Rest, just lying on the couch, is also sometimes simply necessary. By the way, doing nothing is also a difficult task, close to meditative practice. As a rule, we replace "nothing" with watching TV shows in the background, mindlessly wandering around the house and unproductive activities. So you still need to be able to do genuine idleness. This activity gives inner peace, while outdoor activities give more new ideas.

In terms of recreation, Sujong-Kim Pan proposes to look up to the Greeks, who valued sports activities to the same extent as wise conversations at feasts. The classical Greek model, which assumes the harmony of body and mind, is still considered by many to be the most successful.

3. Get good sleep

If at work you are advised to forget about sleep, it is better to treat such work with caution. For some time, the body can exist in a constant voltage mode, but soon this resource will end. Sleep helps us solve the problems we think about when we are awake. That is why they say "the morning is wiser than the evening" and "sleep with this thought." We would not recommend relying entirely on folk wisdom, but in this case, sound ideas are hidden behind it. During sleep, the brain sorts information and creates lasting memories.

In the pre-electrification era, people got up early and went to bed early. It was more profitable to work during daylight hours, otherwise you would not have enough candles. Now the conditions have changed, and with them our circadian rhythms have changed. However, bright white light (such as comes from the screens of computers and smartphones) our body still perceives as a signal to wake up. That is why, for a good night's rest, it is recommended to part with gadgets half an hour or an hour before bedtime.

4. Don't wait for inspiration

Alex Soojong-Kim Pan says that while working on the book, he completely changed his attitude towards creativity. Previously, it looked like romantic ideas in the spirit of the 19th century - as if creativity is a kind of force from above that takes possession of a person spontaneously, and we just have to wait for the weather by the sea (or rather, the muse). Over time, Sujeong-Kim Pan came to the conclusion that people with a long creative life just start working, and then inspiration comes. If you do this every day, you can call the muse constantly, at the right time for you.

The suggestion to "get more rest" to be like Darwin can cause a natural feeling of protest. A modern resident of Russia has to work hard to achieve something - or even just to make ends meet. Especially if you are a student with two part-time jobs, a single working mother, or received a rare and difficult specialty, within which it is difficult to realize yourself and receive a decent salary. Nevertheless, we all take regular rest, and it is in our power to make this rest less passive and more active.

Work that truly deserves the respect of other people does not exist apart from the person doing it.

Successful intellectual and creative activity is a product of the individual's efforts. It is precisely for the development of the personality that a productive rest is needed - that is, an active pastime, reflection, sports, self-development and communication with inspiring people. All this becomes fuel for our intellect and is converted into the movement of creative forces. During the rest you do not work - but at the same time you collect luggage, which will definitely come in handy for work.

Every single day we go to work, and someone to study. Naturally, we get tired, spending a lot of time in a tense state. As a result, we all need rest.

Students overwork themselves mentally, with the exception of some for whom cramming at the university does not make any sense in life and who spend most of their precious time idling.

It's not easy in production either. You have to spend a lot of effort to deserve the meager salary that the state calls worthy for the middle class.

The most underestimated, in my opinion, are the professions in the service sector, where every day poor workers have to listen to the “right” words of insult from customers. Here and not far to break on the nerves. The main thing is to have time to count to ten, calm down and continue to smile sweetly in response.

Think about whether your work or study of university subjects is worth such limitless efforts and experiences. Maybe you need to stop and rest? True thought, right? After all, every self-respecting person has the right to rest. Moreover, this is our natural right, laid down by nature.

Let's take a look at a few ways to take a well-deserved break:

  • Immediately after a busy day, we rush home. And that's right. But some (including students) head to clubs, bars and other similar entertainment venues. Including students. This is not worth doing. "Why?" - you ask. The fact is that at this moment in time your body is exhausted by the heaviest loads, and it requires only silence and no fuss from you. In noisy places of entertainment, of course, you will not find this, and alcohol will aggravate the situation. At other times, for example, during your vacation, you can afford to relax and have a drink with friends. But not after work, when you need a quiet environment.
  • The best option for your peaceful pastime is, of course, to be at home in the company of your friendly and loving family. Talk about the current affairs of your son or daughter, spouse. This way of rest will give you the long-awaited pleasure of communicating with loved ones. In addition, you will give them due attention.
  • As for the personalities gnawing at the granite of science, the advice is as follows. Surely, students are very overworked, barely having time to paint a quarter of a 48-sheet notebook at lectures, almost being late for classes, running from the fifth floor to the first, because there is often not enough time for breaks to reach the next audience. Also, homework is traditionally done until the morning, so there is simply no time to eat. All this running around and haste is very hard on the psyche of the young organism. He, like no one else, needs proper rest. First of all, having finally come from the university, lie down on the bed and try to take a nap for a maximum of an hour, after turning on the alarm clock. It is not recommended to sleep during the day anymore, because then it will be difficult for you to get out of bed and you will oversleep until the very morning of the next day. When you wake up, you will feel a surge of strength, a boost of energy. Be sure to steal some time out of your schedule to eat. After such a rest, you can start doing homework.
  • Every person has individual tastes in music. They listen to whatever they like and enjoy the moment. Something like meditation. Because listening to your favorite hits and meditation converge on one thing - not only the body rests, but also the soul. It is peace of mind that we so lack in this crazy world. But there is nothing complicated in this. Just every time you return from work or university, turn on the music in the player and listen to your favorite songs through headphones. See, you will feel better.
  • Now few people are interested in reading fiction books. Someone does not have enough time, someone does not see the point in it, for someone it may seem boring. And there is a special group of people who prefer to watch feature films. In my opinion, this is a great alternative to books because we don't have to use our brains much to imagine the characters or the setting. All this has already been recreated in the cinema. That's the beauty of movies. Cartoons, for example, delight our eyes with amazing colors and colors. Watching an interesting and professionally staged film, wrapping yourself in a warm blanket and taking out embroidery kits, and it doesn’t matter if it’s beads or cross-stitching, in any case it will brighten up your evening and let you relax after a hectic day.
  • Finally, I want to say that life is given to us only once, and we must live it in such a way that in old age there would be something to remember.

    How should you spend your vacation so that after it you return fresh and rested, full of new ideas and strength to implement them? In this article, I will answer these questions and tell you how to relax while on vacation.

    Many of you have heard that the best rest is a change of activity. This is partly true, but in my opinion, a large number of people do not quite correctly perceive this principle. I watch how people spend their holidays and come to the conclusion that most of them do not rest at all.

    They work for months at work, overwhelmed with business and worries, and now, when the long-awaited vacation time comes, a rare chance to recuperate, they go on vacation and do the same thing that they do during work!

    No, of course, I do not want to say that they postpone their work to the weekend. Rather, they completely transfer their everyday habits to their vacation, making it just a different form of everyday life.
