Getting ready for the All-Russian verification work

System of training tasks

for graduates elementary school

For effective training To a relatively new type of certification of primary school graduates, the scientific and methodological department of the publishing house "Akademkniga / Textbook" has developed a SYSTEM of educational work and training tasks in the Russian language, mathematics, and the world around.

This material is in addition to the previously published Grade 4 student manuals and is offered to all teachers and facilitators for free use. Tasks for preparing 4th grade graduates for a new type of certification are designed not only for students in the "PNS", but also for students mastering other teaching materials. Materials on the website of the publishing house "Akademkniga / Textbook" in the "Important" section will be updated throughout the academic year.

If desired, each teacher can use a particular task (system of tasks) in training lessons or in lessons whose purpose is to assess the level of students' preparation for attestation work in one section or another of the program.

THE WORLD

Exercise 1

The purpose of the assignment is to test the students' understanding of the fact that the character of a person (which manifests itself in learning activities) affects the choice of profession; that a person's profession and his character are inextricably linked.

Masha says that the profession of a doctor requires such character traits from a person as: responsiveness, kindness, responsibility, squeamishness, prudence, truthfulness.

Misha disagrees with her. He believes that a doctor should be squeamish and cautious (otherwise he himself will be ill with everything that his patients are ill with), tough and resolute (a surgeon cannot be kind and indecisive), and if this is necessary for the patient's peace of mind, then deceitful.

And what do you think? What character trait do you consider the most important for a doctor?

Explain your choice.

Answer: Any justification is accepted, if it is not replaced by a story about the possibilities of the profession.

Task 2

The purpose of the task is to test the ability of students to "see" in objects created by man (models), objects of animate and inanimate nature, to name them.

Aquarium - a transparent glass vessel with water, Vallisneria plant and goldfish - this is a model natural reservoir.

A stuffed mammoth is a model of a living object (mammoth).

The model of Saturn is a model of an object of inanimate nature (the planet Saturn).

Give two or three examples of models of animate and inanimate nature.

Task 3

The purpose of the task is to test the ability to determine the properties of substances (in particular, clay) necessary in the manufacture of human products.

What property of clay does the potter usein the manufactureceramic dishes? Mark the answer with V :

Answer: plasticity.

Task 4

The purpose of the task is to test the ability to determine the properties of substances (in particular, air) necessary in the manufacture of products by humans. eight

What property of air is used in the manufacture of double window frames?

Mark the answer with V :

Strength, transparency, plasticity, elasticity.

Answer: transparency.

Task 5

The purpose of the task is to test students' knowledge that the air temperature is both above zero degrees Celsius and below zero (the lower it is on the Celsius scale, the colder), and the ability to use this knowledge for practical purposes.

Look at the table and try to answer the questions:

1. Which day of the week was the coldest day? To what mark did the mercury thermometer drop and at what time of day?

2. On which day of the week the air temperature was above -7 0 C?

3. What general pattern in fluctuations in air temperature can be noted over these days?

December day of the week

Temperature 0С

Night

Morning

Day

Evening

Answers:

1. The coldest day of the week was Thursday. In the evening, the thermometer dropped to -21 0 C.

2. On Tuesday, the daytime air temperature was above -7 0 C.

3. On all the indicated days, the temperature of the daytime air was 2 0 C above morning.

Task 6

The purpose of the task is to test the ability to model the setting of an experiment: set a goal, formulate and test a hypothesis.

The same volume of water was poured into four identical flasks and one teaspoon of sunflower oil was added. A sprig of poplar with ten leaves was placed in the first flask, five leaves in the second, one leaf in the third, and the fourth flask was left without a plant. Observations are carried out for two weeks, the results are recorded every two days.

What do the members of the club “We and the world, conducting this experiment?

Mark the correct answer with a sign V :

Does water evaporate if it is covered with a thin layer of oil?

Do plant leaves evaporate water?

Does the evaporation of water depend on the number of leaves on a plant?

Will the oil dissolve where there are twigs with plant leaves?

Answer: Does the evaporation of water depend on the number of leaves in a plant?

Task 7

The purpose of the task is to test the ability of students to model the setting of an experiment: to determine the sequence of actions to test the hypothesis put forward

It is necessary to check how quickly a teaspoon of granulated sugar dissolves in a glass of water at a certain temperature.

Select the necessary actions for this and put their numbers in order.

1. Mark the end time of the experiment, when the sugar is completely dissolved.

2. Mark the start time of the experiment.

3. Pour 200 ml of water into the measuring cup.

4. Put one teaspoon of granulated sugar into a measuring cup.

5. Measure the water temperature.

6. Dip an empty spoon into a glass.

7. Stir the sugar with a spoon until it is completely dissolved.

Answer: 3, 5, 4, 1, 2.

Task 8

The purpose of the task is to test the ability to compare and find similarities and differences between objects based on their description.

Read the text and compare the descriptions of the life of birds and animals in the Arctic zone. Find one similarity and one difference in their lives.

In summer, there are a lot of birds in the Arctic zone. They all eat fish. Birds arrange nests on different floors of coastal cliffs. In spite of short summer, the polar day allows birds to feed their offspring with small crustaceans and fish. With the advent of winter, birds fly away to more southern regions.

The main food of walruses and seals in summer and winter is fish. These animals have adapted to protect themselves from the cold. They have thick skin and significant subcutaneous fat.

Answer:

Similarity: the main food for birds and animals in the Arctic is fish.

Difference: In winter, birds fly to more southern areas, while walruses and seals winter in the Arctic.
