Linguistic picture of the world in Russian linguistics. Modern problems of science and education

The state has launched a full-scale campaign to block suicide groups on social media, which are mostly teenagers. According to the regulatory authorities, over the past six months, 130 children committed suicide, who were in the same closed communities - virtual suicide clubs.

A surge of attention to this topic occurred after a large and very detailed article in Novaya Gazeta called "Groups of Death" by Galina Mursalieva. In addition to a detailed and figurative description of the activities of the suicide groups themselves, the author of the article drew a society of some non-humans in which the unfortunate dead children lived and studied, including a hysterical teacher and a heartless doctor who in a caustic manner informed her mother about the death of her daughter. The role of parents in this monstrous phenomenon is not disclosed at all. They, as follows from the resonant material, are the same victims as the children who have passed away.

Where do whales swim

The main thing to understand about this menacing phenomenon is that VKontakte has a large number of suicide bombing groups. Journalists and experts have already called them "whale" groups, since the word "whale" is present in their names: "Whales are swimming up", "Sea of \u200b\u200bwhales", "Space Whale", etc.

It looks like a group game, in which the final move of the participant is suicide in the way, at the time and in the place that the guru (group admin) will appoint after an invitation to Skype. For law enforcement, this should be enough to urgently take on the round-up of those who stand behind similar phenomenon. After all, everything indicates that the activities of the groups, the constant updating of their content and the speedy resumption of work after the lockdown is someone's purposeful and well-organized work. The rest is the details that you and I need: parents and children, teachers and psychologists.

Mursaliyeva, having studied the problem and talked with the mother of one of the dead girls, comes to the conclusion that the organizers of suicidal communities help schoolchildren to die. Suicide is filmed and then posted to the appropriate VK group. Moreover, there is a certain plan for the number of suicides in different cities countries, and this plan is inevitably carried out ... Many suicides were known in advance, and, in the author's opinion, they could have been prevented. But those on whom it depended, that is, the authorities and children's ombudsmen, allegedly could not or did not want to help.

Is it so?

Roskomnadzor is fighting destructive groups on social networks, shutting them down as fast as it is likely capable of, that is, "thousands". But in return, more and more “clones” appear, on which blocked content is quickly restored. An announcement with a link to the "reserve" is published on the page of the administrator of the closed group.

Some suicide promoters and active members of groups amaze the imagination of teenagers with their example. But they often die for fun, posting staged videos with their own death in groups. Fortunately, network anonymity allows you to act on the Internet under any number of nicknames and die at least every day.

May 25 Omsk region reported on his website that one of the active participants in suicidal groups was identified by his employees. She, according to preliminary data, turned out to be a 13-year-old schoolgirl from Omsk, registered in VK under the pseudonym Eva Reich. The audit was carried out after the appearance of relevant publications in the media. The information that by her participation in these groups the girl encouraged other participants to commit suicide was confirmed. All the gadgets from which she could go online were confiscated by the investigators, this will make it possible to identify the accomplices and inspirers of Eve, as well as potential suicides.

But under what article to punish the guilty?

Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Incitement to suicide" suggests that suicide is driven only by threats, cruel treatment, systematic humiliation of the victim's human dignity - not a word is said about the propaganda of suicide, the formation of an attractive image of a suicide. But the processing in suicidal groups is more subtle, no one threatens or humiliates, it’s just that the participants form the conviction that there is no need to live, that a person is insignificant, and his life is of no value. But this is by no means done in an insulting or threatening manner, but in a sympathetic and understanding manner, so that the child gets the feeling that he has fallen into an environment of his own kind, united common problem. And the problem is one for all, characteristic of almost every teenager: conflict with elders, teachers, parents, tense relationships with classmates, lack of communication and behavior skills, interests and aspirations. And as a result - a feeling of own inferiority, uselessness.

As a result, there seems to be no corpus delicti in the actions of those who organize and support such groups, despite the presence of dead members of these groups. There is a subtle manipulation of a teenage creature, say supporters of tough measures against the creators of virtual suicide clubs. It is possible that Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is outdated and needs to be supplemented with new virtual technologies.

Orthodox faith and suicide

From a Christian point of view, any life has its own meaning, even if existence brings pain to a person and is given with incredible difficulty. Being born into the world, a person does not belong to himself, he is a creation of God, the Almighty has “his own plan” for him. Only from such a position can one explain to a child or a person who is desperate at any age why it is necessary to overcome difficulties, make efforts and fight, if in the end you will die anyway. The meaning of a person's life is to become a person, not to become scum, not to wallow in vices. Suicide is a rebellion against the will of God.

But the attitude towards life and death is passed on to children from their parents, and for this to happen, there must be a confidential dialogue between adults and young people, the absence of which is the first sign of a dysfunctional family.

The theme of death is mysterious and mysterious, mysticism is often characteristic of young people due to their naivety and limited understanding of life - it is exploited by manipulators and scammers.

Experts who analyzed suicidal groups on VKontakte found clear signs of a totalitarian sect in them: the use of zombie and NLP technologies, often expressed in the need to be in touch with the leader of the group around the clock, deprivation of normal sleep. The ultimate goal of participation in the group is vague, “voluntary departure from life” is not directly mentioned, but the appropriate mood is formed in the teenager. Group leaders speak to their adepts on behalf of the forces of Evil and children who have already committed suicide, directing the victims to take a similar step and even pointing out the way in which they should end their lives.

We need a cult of life

Even a superficial look at the problem is enough to notice that the cult of suicide, formed in such groups, merges with the ideology of suicide bombers. After all, if in virtual suicide clubs it is customary to settle scores with life in the appointed way, then what prevents the next “cut out” from attaching an explosive device to his belt and going to the right place at the right time? And no religious extremism is required.

What can be opposed to suicidal groups on the Web until the FSB saw them as a threat national security? Experts believe that creating some kind of anti-suicidal groups is pointless: the topic of suicide as such should be completely closed, eliminating all groups on this topic. We need to start seeing mental illness in suicidal tendencies, putting on record in a psychiatric hospital all those who tried to lay hands on themselves. In itself, this should entail far-reaching consequences - restrictions in a career, in obtaining driving license, gun permits.

Here's what to talk about with members of suicide groups. And also about the fact that the world is full of children living under the bullets and shells of terrorists, unable to go to school, eat normally. At the same time, they are fighting for their lives, and do not jump under the train because of the deuce or the ban on playing at the computer.

Fighting the Invisibility Hat

There is reason to believe that the appearance of suicidal groups would stop after the elimination of the possibility of anonymous registration on the Web. Many organizers and members of such groups operate from fake profiles. Opponents of registration on the Internet with a passport see this as an infringement on the freedom of expression of citizens, they even refer to the Constitution. But the main law of the country does not say anything about the right to anonymity on the Web. Today, the Internet is a platform for anonymous trolling, insults, spam and propaganda of destructive ideas. To catch intruders operating in an invisibility cap is the Sisyphean work of law enforcement officers.

And yet, prohibitive measures alone will not solve the problem. It is easy to see that children who are in "whale" groups, as a rule, no longer have any interests, no friends. It is impossible to fix this at the expense of "times". Here the ball is on the side of the parents and the school.

Here, the organization of children's leisure at the municipal level can have its say, but, hand on heart, we admit: even in Moscow, it is often so poorly organized that it is more interesting to just sit at home at the computer. Yes, and it is not always easy for parents, say, to take the child away for the whole weekend on some kind of trip or to go to museums with him for the twentieth time.

Expert opinions

“Negative information spreads from great speed. Appeals from the parent community and school teachers say that it is not necessary to embellish it in publications, - considers a member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy Elena Popova. - You need to write about suicidal behavior of teenagers with a minimum of adjectives. Reading such an emotionally rich article [as in Novaya Gazeta], a teenager involuntarily begins to try on the described situation for himself. Law enforcement authorities have repeatedly confirmed to us that after colorful articles in the media in different regions attempts to repeat such suicidal acts are recorded.

The senator noted that in the conditions of freedom of speech, the authorities can neither forbid teenagers to read such articles, nor oblige adults to read them and draw the necessary conclusions. In addition, the privacy rules of social networks do not allow parents to control the activity of the child in them: most often, children participate in such groups not under their real name, but under a fictitious nickname that parents are not aware of.

Internet Ombudsman Dmitry Marinichev believes that, despite this, parents are obliged to control the behavior of their offspring in social networks, because according to the law, all responsibility for the actions of children in one way or another lies with their parents: “According to the communication law, the mobile phone that parents give to their child is registered to one of the parents.

On the other hand, society should develop intolerance towards suicidal communities and those who create them, the Ombudsman is sure. In his opinion, the latter should be identified law enforcement and be punished. But all this is done after the fact and does not play a preventive role.

The human rights activist criticized the presence of open Wi-Fi networks in schools, which are used by students unlimitedly. Bypassing pages blocked by the decision of Roskomnadzor for children is not a problem. “This is the result of the school informatization program, while there is no school network administration program. This is simply unacceptable! Come to any company and try to register in its corporate network, try to get access to any social networks through it. So why is there no such administration in school networks?” - the expert is perplexed.

Nowadays, many people are seriously addicted to the Internet. Some people need it for work, others for communication, others find in the virtual something more than just an addition to real life. Blogs, forums, chats, social networks, dating... for especially impressionable people, all these things become as important as real friends, parents, work. Troubles on the Internet are experienced as sharply as failures in real life. An absurd comment from a network boor can upset you to tears, an evil message from a virtual friend can make you depressed. Sometimes these stories end tragically. Unfortunately, suicide because of the Internet is no longer a rarity.

Online suicide is very popular in Japan. Most often, the victims are young people aged 15 to 34 who are unemployed and unemployed. Every year, law enforcement agencies shut down sites that promote suicide, but there are no fewer of them. Every day, about 100 Japanese people take their own lives. Pacts on joint suicide via the Internet became widely known in February 2003 after a sensational case in Tokyo. Then a man and two women were found dead in an empty apartment. Online suicide clubs appeared in the late 90s and have become widespread almost all over the world. Also there were sites "dealing in death". On one such site in 1998, a 27-year-old teacher was selling potassium cyanide tablets. The connection between the death of people and the functioning of this site was proven, as a result of which it was closed. The teacher, subjected to criminal prosecution, committed suicide.

According to 2009 data, over the past 11 years, every 15 minutes, one of the inhabitants of Japan commits suicide. The Main Police Department does not hide the fact that more than 30,000 suicides are committed every year. This figure is more than double that of the United States and five times the number deaths in the event of an accident in Japan. Behind last year total number suicides decreased by 2.6% compared to 2007.

In 2009, the government even provided 15.8 billion yen for suicide prevention projects. The funds will also be used to tighten controls on websites that promote suicide. Despite this assistance, support centers for would-be suicides like "Inochi no Denwa" are finding it difficult to establish hotline, as they are unable to process about 27 thousand calls per year.

A few months ago, a resident of Poland committed suicide in front of Internet users. A 27-year-old man staged a broadcast of his own suicide through a webcam. He hanged himself in his room after turning on the camera on his computer connected to the Internet. One of the witnesses to the suicide called the police station. At the scene, the police found the body of a young man hanging from a pipe. It is noteworthy that at the time of the suicide, the parents were in the house.

Last year, 19-year-old Abraham K Biggs logged onto video streaming site Justin.tv and revealed that he was about to kill himself. The interlocutors took his words as a joke and began to mock the guy, after which Abraham took the pills and lay down on the bed in front of the camera. After two hours of watching the young man lie motionless in front of the camera, site visitors became worried and called the police. However, by the time help arrived, the guy was already dead.

It is impossible not to mention the sensational story of the American girl Megan Meyer. A thirteen-year-old schoolgirl committed suicide after a virtual admirer named Josh Evans sent her several offensive messages. In fact, no Josh actually existed. Under the guise of a boy, Lori Drew, the mother of her ex-girlfriend Sarah, sat on the Internet. After the girls had a fight and stopped talking, Lori created a MySpace account and met Megan there. The girl became attached to her new friend and trusted him with many secrets. Later it turned out that Sarah showed a copy of their private correspondence to friends at school.

Megan Meyer hanged herself in her closet after "Josh" dumped her and wrote that the world would be a better place without her. After a series of lengthy investigations and trials, a US federal court issued an acquittal in the case of Laurie Drew. The accusers insist that Laurie violated MySpace rules by creating a fake account and should be held accountable. The girl's mother is going to appeal the verdict.

This problem has not bypassed Russia either. Every year, 55,000 lives are voluntarily interrupted in our country. Most of them are young men under 30 years old.

In 2005, two young girls who met via the Internet committed suicide in Orel. Nothing connected them except the Web, and they lived in different cities.

Perhaps it was the Internet that caused the suicide of a schoolgirl from Kultuk. This year, tenth-grader Elena Nelipa committed suicide on the railroad tracks. The mother of the deceased believes that someone brought her to such and such a desperate act. The girl often spoke mobile phone and spent a lot of time on the Internet. At school, she did not communicate with anyone, preferring virtual world. A few hours before her death, Lena received a message from a person with whom the girl had been communicating on the Web for a long time. This message upset her to tears. It was not possible to find out exactly what caused the schoolgirl's suicide, but the Internet remained one of the most plausible versions.

Many psychologists claim that the Internet is one of the reasons for the popularity of mass suicides. Often, forums and chats of psychological support sites are used to find like-minded suicidal people. This is usually done simply because a person is afraid to die alone and he is looking for company.

Now in Runet you can find many sites dedicated to suicide. Usually these are sites of psychological support, personal sites of people and forum sites of potential suicides. Despite the fact that such resources are constantly closed by law enforcement agencies, new ones soon appear in their place. Even useful community sites that help depressed youth unwittingly give them helpful tips about how to easily and painlessly die.

A desperate person can find real support from relatives and friends, and not on the Internet. In a pinch, personal websites of people who share their experiences of overcoming suicidal tendencies can be helpful.

Many human rights activists mistakenly see goth websites or depressive music fan resources as a danger. However, one must worry about pages that openly promote death or prove the futility of life. Also dangerous are "good" sites containing dangerous information such as methods of suicide and the names of lethal drugs.

Abstract: the issues of child suicide, which occurs as a result of a specific psychoprogramming influence of certain individuals on the consciousness of adolescents through the social network of the Internet "VKontakte", are considered. Children are taught that their life in existing world is meaningless, if they have some kind of problem, then the only correct way out of the arisen problem situation- suicide.

After the act of suicide, they will find themselves in another - perfect, world, where everyone loves and understands them. Teenagers begin to feel like participants in an exciting game. They trust the "curators of death groups", believe in their "reboot", believing that in reality they will also have more than one life. After all, in computer games the heroes died repeatedly, and then "rebooted" and continued to live. Contrary to the opinion that adolescents from troubled families are the victims of such influence, often among those who died as a result of suicide are children from wealthy families.

Key words: adolescents, suicide, VKontakte social network, death groups, youth suicidal subculture, destructive impact. AT last years, as a result of the development scientific and technological progress, information and psychotechnologies, society is faced with a new phenomenon: the suicide of children as a result of a destructive effect on their consciousness through the social networks of the Internet. Some "death group moderators" in social network"VKontakte" united minors from different cities of Russia around themselves and persuaded a number of them to commit suicide. On December 25, 2015, 12-year-old Ryazan schoolgirl Angelina jumped from the 14th floor. On January 9, 2016, another girl from Ryazan, Diana, did the same. Both were from prosperous families, studied well, were engaged in creativity, played musical instruments. When studying the Internet page of Angelina in the social network "VKontakte", a psychologically clearly built system of preparing children for voluntary departure from life was revealed, consisting of photographs promoting suicide, wishes, aphorisms, phrases, suicidal songs and depressive music.

The girl corresponded with teenagers with similar interests. On their pages were the following sayings: "Why is the world without tenderness?" “Neither I nor you are ready for this life”, “Sleep, don’t wake up, you are not expected here”, “Don’t call, I hate you all”, “The main thing is to jump off a cliff, along the way you will definitely grow wings” , “Let's jump off the roof and fly like birds”, “Fly to the sun!”, “Elevators carry people to heaven”, “That's it, I'm not there, consider that I'm planting potatoes on Mars ...”. When studying this phenomenon, it turned out that thousands of girls and boys are in teenage groups of suicidal orientation. In recent years, a whole online youth suicidal subculture has formed in Russia. Initially, members of such groups ( most of of them girls) death is perceived as a game. The interlocutor is suggested that in our world no one understands her. But in that afterlife, they will understand her and accept her for who she is. Yes, and you have to die with a smile - after all, you are leaving for the heavenly world of prosperity. Departure from life is just a challenge to God: “They say, you don’t just take me away, I will leave this life myself.” Voluntary departure from life adolescence became an ideology for many minors. Supporters and supporters of suicide unite not only in open groups, but also closed to outsiders. Of the participants open groups select candidates in the closed.

The usual words "If you can't make it to the end, then why are you coming with us?" in this clearly built hierarchy of suicidal thoughts have strictly certain value. Diana and Angelina visited the same groups on the Internet that promoted child suicide. There are many of them: “sea of whales”, “flying whale”, “ocean of whales”, “whales swim up”, “whale magazine”, “wake me at 4-20”, “children of the dead generation”, “quiet house”, “ f 57", "f 58" and others (by the relevant authorities in recent times steps have been taken to close them). Only one of these groups had 239,862 subscribers. In some groups, the whale is the symbol. Some have butterflies. It is explained that whales throw themselves ashore, leaving this world out of despair. They voluntarily go to another world. But butterflies only live for one day. In groups, they explain how to cut their own hands. Even relevant pictures are sent out. Cuts on the hands - an attribute.

Wounds on the hands indicate wounds in the soul. Members of such groups pride themselves on having the courage to inflict physical pain on themselves that numbs their soul. The “education” of future juvenile suicides is based on the postulates of the suicide theory of professor of the University of Florida (USA) psychologist Thomas Joyner: creating a sense of burden for others, losing a sense of belonging to a group, and acquiring the ability to commit suicide. Not everyone decides to commit suicide, but those who have managed to get used to pain. People die by suicide because they want and can do it. Cuts were also made on the forearms of Angelina and Diana, people leading the girls to death taught them to endure pain. Playing with death, the children believed that they were moving into better world. So they were taught by curators from social networks. The curators of the "groups of death" inspire children that they are fat, ugly, useless, no one understands them. Children are led up to the third level of the game. The third level is the last one. They are offered a way to escape from life, most often: lie under a train or jump from the roof (balcony) of a height of ki. The most worthy are selected for death. Children stand in line for death and even receive numbers to die. They are assigned the day of death.

To confirm your self, on this day you need to die. They receive a message: “Your number is such and such. You must leave this world immediately." The administrator of the F 57 group, hiding under the nickname Philip Lis, used special term- biowaste. Like, the space in the universe is clogged, and he cleans the world from bio-garbage. Some kind of minifuhrer, manipulating human lives and, apparently, getting satisfaction from the death of girls under his control. On the Internet, Philip Lis wrote: “They died happy. I gave them what they didn’t have in real life: warmth, understanding, connection.” It is common knowledge that teenagers are hyperexcitable and emotional. subjected to hard psychological abuse, they leave life without fully understanding the essence of what is happening. Hundreds of times playing games on computers where death prevailed, they rebooted and reborn so many times. They have no awareness of the final departure from life. They have the illusion that everything will come back. Provoking children to suicide through social networks in Russia has become a serious challenge to society. In 2017, the President of the Russian Federation drew attention to the need to combat this phenomenon.

After that, amendments were made to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which made it possible to initiate criminal cases and prosecute persons who induce children to commit suicide. To do this, it is necessary: - to create a special group of reputable psychologists and suicidologists to study this phenomenon and prepare appropriate recommendations; - to develop a system of counter-propaganda of child suicide, both in society and in social networks, with the help of which to deheroize and deromanticize teenage suicide; - to train specialists in the field of child psychology to work in social networks and conduct systemic events with adolescents from death groups. Including, saving children who already intend to commit suicide; - prepare from students, future psychologists, special youth groups to combat teenage suicide in society and social networks. It is most likely that it is peers who will be able to convince their peers and save them from a fatal step;

Formulate proposals for taking measures to minimize the negative impact of the Internet on children, including the possibility of blocking dangerous content on home computers; - put it on the right level educational work in families and educational institutions. The state and society should do everything possible to prevent suicides of children as a result of a destructive impact on their consciousness through the Internet.

global problem modern society is suicide. According to World Organization Health, “over the past 50 years, suicide rates worldwide have increased by 60%. Russia belongs to the countries with very high level suicide. The statistics on the number of suicides among young people are particularly alarming. In connection with the informatization of modern society, the suicidal behavior of young people has changed. With the development of the Internet, the number of people who prefer virtual communication is increasing, which leads to the destruction of human relationships in real life and the appearance of depression. AT crisis periods life, a young person, out of curiosity or seeking to find interlocutors and discuss his problems, can easily go to sites that promote suicide. Suicide clubs have existed since ancient times in many historical eras: in Ancient Egypt under Cleopatra, in Germany in 1819, in Vienna in 1824, in the USA at the beginning of the 20th century. But virtual communities of suicide advocates differ from their traditional predecessors in their large numbers, lack of geographic location, and free access to people of any age. “This problem is global in nature - the virtual culture of suicide appeared almost simultaneously with the development of the Internet” and is spreading around the world at the same time. The study shows that the majority of visitors to suicide forums and websites are under 25 years of age. Some individuals are members of several virtual communities dedicated to suicide at once. Formally, this closed groups, but to get access to information in them, you just need to subscribe to a group or write about your experiences to the site editor or the creator of a group on a social network. Most people who commit suicide first try to draw the attention of others to their problems and let them know about suicidal intent. Relatives can read the appeals on a personal page on a social network and prevent suicide at the pre-suicidal stage. But if the messages are addressed to members of virtual suicide clubs, then the person is not dissuaded: his choice is approved and they begin to suggest methods of how to die faster and more reliably. It is easy to find information on the Internet about the methods and places of committing suicide. All this makes it clear to the young man that society does not prohibit suicide, that "thoughts of suicide are the norm, not pathology." Communication on the Internet can be a reason for suicide, but the search for the reasons for the growing dynamics of the number of suicides of young people must be sought in real world and not in virtual space.
