Its soundtrack proved to be a powerful prop for the anime and kept it from sliding into gray despondency. The opening with the ending from the same Sawano Hiroyuki turned out to be excellent. In general, the soundtrack of this composer has an amazing ability to make mediocre works into very good middling pieces.

I will not praise the plot especially, because there is nothing special to praise it for. It is good just enough to make the anime watchable and nothing more. If you dig deep, you can find a lot of jambs, but somehow I have no desire.

With the characters, the situation is about the same, but there is still one ray of light. This is Shinoa. Her voice seemed familiar to me, and when the caustic jokes began, I realized for sure that somewhere I had already heard this. This is what she reminded me of Yukino from Oregairu. Only in Shinoa's snarky attacks is more of a hint of mischief and playfulness, in contrast to Yukino's caustic and cold. Shinoa is a truly exceptional character, and not just in Owari no Seraph. In the anime itself, she looks like a shining diamond on top of a pile of gray rocks. What is so special about her?

Firstly, this is an extremely unusual type of character that cannot be attributed to any of the existing ones. She seems cheerful, playful and perky, but at the same time, she has nothing to do with the type of genki. She loves to tease and make jokes, but she does it somehow in a special way. Despite the apparent obviousness of her character, for some reason doubts creep in that something else is hiding behind the guise of a cunning mischievous woman. Secondly, this is a seiyuu who was able to fully realize the potential of the character. Hayami Saori's voice was perfect for Shinoa.

The graphics are pleasing to the eye. The predominance of black and lime colors in humans, as well as white and red in vampires, looks interesting. This has a positive effect on the perception of anime in the sense that we have a certain visual separation of the parties, and they look like full-fledged warring armies. Having opened any series, it will be possible to understand without any problems who is who.
