Long nose thin lips. Physiognomy of wrinkles around the eyes

Hello dear readers of the Reading Technologies blog!

I will dedicate this article to esotericism.

But not in the sense that we will control fate through thoughts and attract events with energy. No. But we will try to use interesting and useful esoteric knowledge to develop our qualities.

Take, for example, the quality observation.

Indeed, in fact, to be able to observe means to be able to see details in an object / phenomenon that others do not notice.

But how can you notice, let alone distinguish one from the other, if you don’t know what parts the object actually consists of and how it is correctly described. After all, one must not only be able to see, but also know - what you need to see in a particular object of observation .

Typologies

Since ancient times, people have tried to classify similar properties of objects into so-called Typologies .

For example, there are typologies of a person by temperament: choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic, melancholic. According to the type of body structure: asthenic, normosthenic, hypersthenic.

Or division according to the signs of the Zodiac or the year of the Chinese calendar.

Similarly, typical properties were noticed in the lines of the palm - arose palmistry , in the arrangement of objects - Feng Shui , in handwriting - graphology etc.

It was also noticed that people with the same facial features very often have similar character traits. This is how physiognomy.

About her today will be discussed in our "Book review".

The concept of Physiognomy

Physiognomy- this is a method of determining the type of personality and character of a person, and even fate by external facial features. This is in short.

The first mention of physiognomy is attributed to Aristotle. Even earlier, Hippocrates was also interested in this.

The word physiognomy (from the French physionomie) first came to the Russian language - the art of recognizing a person's character by the features of his face.

Today, a face is called a physiognomy, and instead of " physiognomy"use the word" physiognomy».

Later, from the concept of "physiognomy" stood out kinesics (gestures, facial expressions) phrenology(study of the structure of the skull), oculesica (eye language), etc.

Principles of physiognomy

We single out the basic principles of human physiognomy in order to use them as the foundation for further study.

1. Balance and proportions.

The proportions of some facial features in relation to others are studied. Ideally, they should be balanced.

For study, the face is divided by horizontal lines into 3 parts: upper, middle and lower zone.

2. Zones and forms - this is the second principle.

Each zone controls its own age, for example, the top one will tell about the period from 15 to 30 years and from 64 to 93 years.

The shape of the face is also studied. What are they - oblong, square, triangular or others, which allow you to complement the characteristics of a person.

Interesting research was conducted at the beginning of the 20th century by K. Huter. He also divided the face into 3 parts and showed that top part(forehead) determines mental activity, the middle - sensual and spiritual, the lower - love for pleasures and benefits.

Arab physiognomist Abul-Faraj (1226-1286) in the "Book entertaining stories” gave a description of a person’s appearance and its connection with character.

Some excerpts:

- A strong, courageous person: a slightly elongated face, deep-set eyes, big forehead, "aquiline" nose, coarse hair, thick eyebrows, narrow lips.

— Lover of Wisdom: Beautiful face eyes glowing with power, thin lips.

- Slow person: thick tip of the nose, big ears.

3 . Sis position topic.

In the Chinese face reading system, specific positions on the face are highlighted and they are responsible for a certain age. There are 99 positions in total.

For example, 37 years old - position 37 (pupil of the left eye). The features of this position will characterize a person at 37 years old.

Each position has its own characteristics, and some of them are the most important.

So position 19 (in the forehead) reflects the fate and character inherited from the maternal side. And position 44 is associated with middle age (this is the middle of the nose).

4. Five essential features.

There are five of them: eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth and forehead.

Other facial features are also studied: a groove on the upper lip, wrinkles, moles, cheekbones, jaws, and chin.

Overall, this is a very interesting way of analysis and introspection. Another reason to look at yourself and escape from the hustle and bustle. And with careful study, this is an opportunity for self-development.

Here's a little help. To broaden your horizons.

And although the physiognomy of the face over the millennia has accumulated a huge array of observations and hypotheses, nevertheless, most of them do not withstand serious scientific verification. Those. not considered scientifically proven.

Although in China Physiognomy was considered a full-fledged branch of medicine.

However, attempts to use physiognomy do not stop. After all, many working in the system " man-man » you need the ability to instantly receive information about the client, partner, interlocutor. This is necessary for teachers and doctors and businessmen and ...., yes, everyone needs it.

After all, few have the gift of clairvoyance, and observant people are sometimes referred to as clairvoyants, because they see what others do not see. Because they know how to see (observe).

This skill is learn to observe and read in the face, I think you can pay attention and time. No magic, just the ability to work with visual information.

Although I do not rule out that long-term studies and experience in the study of physiognomy will allow us to look into the future of man, i.e. read his fate. After all, physiognomy says that this is also possible. There is a chance to check.

Knowing the future, it can be changed if it does not suit you. After all, what is fate , is the track along which a man is walking, and since we are all passive and act on the machine (sleep according to Gurdjieff), we are not able to change anything until we wake up.

But waking up and taking responsibility for our own destiny, we can change what does not suit us in this rut and even move to another, more preferable, actually built one.

Now this is some kind of magic, but conscious magic, and not the kind when they “manage energy” without understanding what is behind it and how it will affect.

A. Malovichko has such a phrase “ we and with 2% of our physical entity we can’t figure it out, but we are trying to work with completely incomprehensible 98% ».

I am not against energy, I myself have been in this topic for more than a dozen years, but what I understand is that you should not climb over the fence when there is a gate nearby.

Abilities will be given to a person when his condition is ready to accept them. To achieve such a state is a worthy and promising task.

Approaches to the study of physiognomy

I will not impose approaches, but I would single out three levels of its study.

The first level is the quality of observation.

Knowledge of physiognomy allows you to remember the faces of a person. After all, so often we simply cannot describe or remember someone. To do this, you need to know what and how to describe, according to which algorithm.

And here the approaches of physiognomy are very convenient - dividing the face into zones, areas, key features and giving brief characteristics of all this.
This makes it easier to remember and easier to describe.

Second level of knowledge is the ability to draw conclusions about a person's character by analyzing his face.

Third levelread a person's fate.

You can limit yourself to one level, but you can, if you wish, deepen your knowledge and become a real physiognomist.

In any case, the knowledge gained from the study of Physiognomy can be useful in Everyday life.

A sincere interest in the study of physiognomy is the possibility of natural memorization, and not that mechanical one like "5 steps to remembering a person's face." After all, showing a sincere interest in studying people's faces, you do not have to strain yourself, everything happens naturally, and memory works much better under such conditions.

Books on physiognomy

Many books have been written for the study of physiognomy. And among them there are those with which you can start an introduction to physiognomy.

I'll start with two - which, in principle, are enough to start with.

Physiognomy brings many interesting impressions to those who approach it with an open mind.

Of course, we can say that this is not scientific, especially since attempts to simulate on a computer the connection between a person's appearance and his character did not give a positive result.

But still, a person is not a machine and observation is not only in the fact that he evaluated a person by formal signs and that's it.

No, he adds to these signs his experience and knowledge in other areas, i.e. has a complete picture of what he sees.

That is why there are people who are insightful and really read a person like a book.

Why not try?

Sincerely, Nikolay Medvedev.

Do you want to know what physiognomy is and how it can be useful in everyday life? Then read this article. Applying practical advice described below, you can open the curtain on the secrets of the life of a stranger. So, physiognomy - how to read a person in the face? Be patient and you'll find out!

The modern rhythm of life is extremely high. Every day there are many events, flows of information in clots of incredible sizes move in space. Humanity has recently entered the era of communications, which will rule the roost for a long time to come - whoever owns the information owns the world.

Scientists have proven that a modern person receives and processes more information in one day than a nineteenth-century inhabitant received in a whole year.

Every day we meet many new people. But when meeting a new person, it is sometimes difficult to find contact. Moreover, it is quite difficult to determine how much you can trust a stranger and whether he is a reliable person. You can’t just ask him about it - he is unlikely to give an answer. But there is a way out - physiognomy.

How did physiognomy

This is a science that deals with determining the character of a person, his personal qualities and even the events that occurred in his life. It will not be a day, a place and an incident in pictures and details. Physiognomy allows only to understand the nature of the event.

Despite the fact that physiognomy is translated from Greek as “face” and “fortune-telling”, it is fundamentally different from Tarot cards or a crystal ball - this is really a science. It is built on observations, research and psychological tests.

When a person interacts with the outside world, his face and body react to it. Even in complete solitude, alone with itself, the body shows its reaction outward.

For example, when a person is serious, his eyebrows are frowning, when he is angry, the pupils constrict, and the nostrils, on the contrary, expand, as breathing quickens. To understand the essence, just look at the keyboard of an old laptop. What keys are on it?

The ones that get clicked the most. The same thing happens with the human face. When a person expresses emotions, facial muscles contract.

Each emotion has its own expression, its own personal “imprint”, which can be used to determine what feelings and experiences a person is experiencing at the moment. For the same episode different people react differently.

Of course, there are situations, the reaction to which is approximately the same for everyone, so sometimes even the style and standard of living can be recognized by the face.

Like the buttons on a laptop, human skin can be cushioned. In those places where bends most often occur, folds form. Precisely according to mimic wrinkles you can learn a lot about who is standing in front of you.

The more often a person experiences this or that emotion, the more the skin in a certain place will be deformed, which will help to unravel the character, inclinations, and even bad habits. The body leaves clues not only through wrinkles - this is just one of the forms of manifestation.

Facial features can tell a lot, the most "eloquent" of which are:

  • brows;
  • eyes;
  • the chin.

How to read a person by face using physiognomy

Eyebrows are perhaps the most expressive part human face. They very brightly signal surprise, anger, anxiety and are often an indicator of the current mood.

By eyebrows, physiognomy makes it possible to recognize some character traits. But it is important to remember that many girls, and sometimes not only, correct the shape of their eyebrows, which significantly distorts the result and reduces their level of information.

Eyebrows are easy to assess ambition, the potential for creativity and the desire for fame.

A shy person can be identified by this description of the eyebrows:

  • sparse eyebrows;
  • light or pale hair;
  • thin line of eyebrows.

In a noisy company, such a person prefers a supporting role. He is taciturn, rarely shows initiative, behaves peacefully and rarely shows aggression.

The following eyebrows will tell about the confidence and good self-control of their owner:

  • even, smooth eyebrows;
  • long;
  • having clear, pronounced outlines.

The eyebrows of a person prone to control, manipulation and a thirst for power are characterized by the following features:

  • thick unruly hair;
  • black color;
  • thick eyebrow line.

There are 7 types of eyebrows in total:

Location matters too. low eyebrows they speak of ambition and strength of character, and high ones characterize indecision. Long eyebrows are characteristic of those with a high level of intelligence.

According to research, it is the eyes that are instinctively looked at first. The human look is so expressive that even without knowing physiognomy, you can quickly understand what mood a person is in.

Eye shapes and their influence on character:

  1. Big eyes characterize sincerity, sharp mind and openness. Expressive eyes are a sign of beauty and a high level of self-control;
  2. Bulging eyes indicate passion, strong vital energy willingness to take risks. Such people often strive for control and power, are capable of reckless actions;
  3. Small eyes symbolize such traits as decency, pedantry and strong moral principles. However, people with this eye shape are slightly insecure and self-critical enough, which is why they are indecisive;
  4. Deep-set eyes characterize a person who is conservative and calm, but at the same time vulnerable. Such people have perseverance and concentration, they prefer stability to risk and know how to handle money;
  5. Slanted eyes give out a bold optimist, confidently walking along the path of life. Sometimes such people can commit rash rash acts, which often has a negative impact to their position;
  6. The lowered corners of the eyes speak of a caring person who knows how to empathize with others. This form indicates kindness and inability to say “no” at the right time. Others often pin the solution to their problems on such people;
  7. A small iris is characteristic of impulsive and quick-tempered people. They do not like responsibility and try their best to avoid it. At the same time, sometimes they can be generous and have extraordinary cunning.

The color of the iris can be very informative. Brown eyes speak of a strong character, blue eyes are known for their kindness and openness. Greens testify high level intellectual development of its owner. The whites of the eyes should be white. This indicates good health.

Nose

The nose is, in a way, an indicator of success. By the nose of a person, one can determine his potential success in business and other areas related to finance.

Experts in the field of physiognomy note that the nose is most informative in the fifth decade of human life.

He will talk about the level of financial well-being and professional implementation.

The nose is formed only by the age of 20. Its beautiful shape does not mean that its owner is successful in all areas of life. It would seem that a nose that is not very attractive at first glance may turn out to be ideal in terms of the characteristics of a successful person.

The shape of the nose matters a lot.

  1. A straight nose predicts material wealth and speaks of the decency of its owner;
  2. Thin is a classic beauty standard, but its owners can be considered proud and even arrogant personalities;
  3. An aquiline nose speaks of great sexual energy and charisma. People with such noses have not hefty leadership qualities and able to lead
  4. The owners of short noses are very optimistic, have a wide circle of friends and are very responsive. But you can't call them careerists;
  5. A long nose signals well-developed rational thinking, conservatism and pedantry. Sometimes its owners can be arrogant, especially with strangers;
  6. A large nose is characteristic of a gentle and kind person who sincerely empathizes with the problems of other people and is ready to help them in every possible way. Such people have magnetic abilities to attract money.

It is worth paying attention to the nostrils:

A shiny nose, which is considered not very aesthetic, speaks of great success in financial sector. A little pink color also promises prosperity and wealth.

An earthy color indicates the possible presence of diseases, and red capillaries on the wings of the nose indicate alcohol abuse.

The mouth is very important for determining the spiritual qualities of a person.

corners of the mouth, especially adulthood, you can understand the mood in which a person's life as a whole passes. Lowered corners are characteristic of pessimists, and those directed upwards are characteristic of optimists. This is due to the fact that optimists smile much more often, which contributes to the formation of just such folds.

Ear

The human ear is very individual and is not distorted by makeup. The disadvantage is that it is often hidden by hair. The shape of the ears contains clues about character traits:

The normal ear is colored white and pink. Auricle scarlet color characterizes aggressive person unable to control his anger. But when evaluating this indicator, it is worth considering the time of year and whether a person wears a hat.

The chin becomes an assistant to the physiognomist at the age of 30, since by this time it is formed:

One of the few cases where the myths are true. A wide “strong-willed” chin really symbolizes a strong character and steel endurance, and a small “soft” chin speaks of a person who tends to quit what he started in the middle of the path and easily panics.

The eyes are the source of strength

A look can literally transform a face. A very effective way to influence the interlocutor, especially in controversial situations, is a heavy, or as it is also called a “magnetic” look. Its existence is confirmed by the fact that sometimes people seem to physically feel when they are looked at.

The whole secret is to learn to look with two eyes at one point. For example, when talking with an interlocutor, you should try to look him in only one eye.

To develop this skill, you can draw a black circle on paper and hang it on the wall at eye level, and then look at it for about 2 minutes 3 times a day.

You can also practice in front of a mirror, which will allow you, to some extent, to be in the place of your opponent. This is an excellent technique that allows you to clearly control facial expressions and facial expressions.

And many more interesting information about physiognomy - in the next video.

FOREWORD

Interest in the human face has been around for a long time. The great thinker of antiquity Aristotle, drawing a connection between the structure of a person’s face and his character traits, wrote: pigs, he is stupid, who has a sharp nose, like a dog, he has a choleric temperament, and who has a nose sticking out, like a crow, he is careless.

Natural observation is an extremely rare quality. And yet it can be developed through constant training. And knowledge of the basics of facial expressions and physiognomy helps to unravel the mood of a person, gives the key to “reading” character, habits, and abilities from his face. That is why the first section and part two of this book are devoted to this issue.

There is another, no less important aspect knowledge of the features of the human face - its congenital pathology and diseases, often associated with the neglect of the simplest precautions or the lack of elementary knowledge on the prevention of diseases of the facial region. Everyone would like to stay forever young. But how do you keep your skin smooth and healthy? How to identify a disease by the face, recognize a patient with alcoholism, a drug addict? Do criminals have their own "face"? The authors tried to answer all these and some other questions.

ABC OF PHYSIOGNOMY

End of the 18th century. old lock in the south of France. The servant reports to Count Lebrun about the arrival of the guest. Soon the friends are chatting animatedly in the library, where ancient folios are side by side with paintings in rich, although already dilapidated, gilded frames, hunting trophies - with antique sculptures. The clock strikes, the doors swing open and mechanical little men appear - musicians performing a minuet ... The guest rises and bows, wants to leave, but ... the courteous host suddenly rushes at him, wringing his hands and snatching the pistol hidden from the guest. A friend confesses that he decided to commit suicide and came to see a friend for the last time.

    But how did you know about it? he asks in bewilderment. And in response he hears:

    I am a student of the great Lavater.

Another student of Lavater - Cubissi, passing through the living room of the Parisian judge Lange, was struck by one of the portraits of women hanging on the wall and stopped to get a better look at it. A quarter of an hour later, the judge, without waiting for Cubissi, began to look for him and found him standing in the same place with a fixed gaze fixed on the portrait. “What can you say about this work? the judge asked. "Isn't it a beautiful woman?" - “Undoubtedly,” answered Cubissi, “but if the portrait is made successfully, then its original has, apparently, a black soul; it must be the devil himself?!” It was a portrait of the famous poisoner Branvilliers, as famous for her beauty as for the atrocities that brought her to the scaffold.

Most likely these are legends, but the fame of the Swiss pastor, theologian, moralist and poet Johann Gaspard Lavater (1741-1801), who stood at the origins of physiognomy, was really great. Despite many mistakes and misconceptions, he was the first researcher to prove the relationship between "movements of the soul", mental processes and emotions expressed by facial expressions.

Lavater devoted all his free time to painting portraits of his flock, which he performed in the filigree manner of Renaissance masters. For hours he studied the features of their faces, tried to unravel the character, inclinations, features. With the then religiosity of people and the secrecy of confession, he always had the opportunity to test his assumptions. Popularity Lavater eclipsed emperors and kings. People from all over Europe came to his physiognomic sessions, they brought him children, lovers, the sick, sent portraits, masks, casts. They admired him, idolized him, but they were also afraid. According to contemporaries, the famous adventurer, the brilliant Count Cagliostro avoided meeting with Lavater, although, remaining to the end of his days ingenuously naive and absent-minded, the pastor sought to see a European celebrity, about whom there were rumors that he was 350 years old, that he was a magician and sorcerer and can turn base metals into gold. Lavater was a friend of Goethe and left an enthusiastic description of his face. "His mind is always permeated warm feeling and feelings are always brightly illuminated by reason. Note the shape of that warm forehead, that quick, piercing, loving and mobile eye, not very deep set under the slightly curved eyelids, the expressive nose, that essentially very poetic transition of the K. upper lip, to manly chin and an open strong ear. Is there a person who would not see that this is the face of a genius! Lavater's art is subjective. Talent, multiplied by many years of painstaking work, allowed him to achieve brilliant results. But it was the art of intuition, conjecture, which died with him.

Lavater argued that facial features can recognize the inner essence of a person. This doctrine, or "system", was called physiognomy (modern - physiognomy). Here is how Lavater himself defined what he understands by this term: “I call physiognomy the ability to know the inner essence of a person by his appearance, to notice some natural signs that are not immediately evident.”

Lavater believed that by the expression of the eyes and the outline of the mouth, one can judge not only the mood of a person at the moment, but also his character in general, because people themselves “work out” their appearance, depending on how, in their opinion, it should be. facial expression according to social position. Therefore, there are characteristic features of a courtier, lawyer, doctor, military man, statesman, etc.

Lavater's teaching made a great impression on his contemporaries. His popularity as the author of philosophical and ethical writings further contributed to this. Among the adherents of the new teaching was the great Goethe, who helped Lavater in the creation of his works on physiognomy.

In Russia, Lavater also had many supporters. N. M. Karamzin, in particular, belonged to them. Traveling in 1789-1790. in Europe, he visited Lavater and received from him the manuscript of the One Hundred Physiognomic Rules, which he described in his Letters from a Russian Traveler. Returning to Russia, Karamzin vigorously promoted the teachings of Lavater and distributed his writings.

Physiognomy as a science has not yet received universal recognition, but the truth of its basic provisions should be judged on the basis of experience. We will use the interpretation of physiognomic data (nose, eyebrows, eyes), which is given in his book by the American psychologist Professor T. Map, and we will try to use it, albeit first, to characterize our friends and relatives. So, let's check whether it is possible to judge the character and abilities of a person by the shape of the elements of his face.

Rice. 1. The shape of the nose.

NOSE. A long nose is characteristic of a conservative, proud person with great creative potential, but lacking business qualities. People who have a hump nose are arrogant, they have a bad relationship with subordinates. The tip of the nose in the form of a drop marks success in business. An "eagle" nose is a sign of an unstable, vengeful person. A snub nose indicates not very good health, and too snub nose is found in those who live carelessly, not caring about tomorrow.

According to the concepts of Eastern physiognomists, the nose reflects the features of a person's spiritual life. It is believed that the ideal nose has a rounded tip and shaped wings. Too large nostrils indicate personality defects. A person with a perfect nose has the nature of a lion - he is distinguished by courage, passion, assertiveness. People around like people with a beautiful nose. It follows from this that the owner beautiful nose- a strong personality.

A long nose is generally considered a sign of a strong personality. A variety of shades stand out here: a long nose, well balanced with eyes, mouth and chin, indicates a strong nature. A short nose speaks of an open mind and optimism. A bony long nose is an indicator of pride, arrogance, and quarrelsomeness. A bony long nose with a pronounced hump often belongs to a gloomy person; if the bridge of such a nose is too sunken, deformed or dotted with horizontal ruts, this is a sign of malaise, however, with a general balance of the face, this sign does not dominate. The Japanese consider a high and even bridge of the nose to be ideal - by the way, such a nose bridge occurs in healthy people. .

The tip of the nose can say a lot. A person whose tip of the nose resembles a suspended drop is usually cheerful, therefore, he prospers; if the tip of the nose resembles an eagle's beak, such a person is insightful, cunning and often vindictive. The full, large, bulbous tip of the nose is evidence of cordiality and warmth. Raised, with bulging nostrils, the nose means self-will, incontinence, licentiousness. The forked tip of the nose is evidence of timidity. Too small nostrils speak of compliance, wide wings of the nose - about conceit. Red nose - dishonesty, a red porous nose ("spoiled orange") often belongs to drunkards. Dark spots on the nose are a sign of physical distress. A woman's nose that stands out sharply on her face, as a rule, indicates a dysfunctional life in her youth, but this becomes apparent only after 35-40 years.

BROWS. Eyebrows rising to the center of the forehead are a sign of ardent imagination. Eyebrows raised in a triangle indicate a strong character, their owner easily turns his ideas into deeds. Eyebrows forming one line portend a troubled life at the age of 30-35, but a person with such eyebrows is able to overcome all difficulties. Ideal eyebrows - oblong, wide, thick, harmoniously framing the eyes - a sign of a reasonable person. Small, shapeless eyebrows are usually found in people who are unbalanced.

According to the Japanese, wide, long eyebrows should be considered ideal. The proportionality of the development of the eyebrows (shape, color, density) indicates a balance of emotions, mind and character. Rigid, bristly eyebrows indicate the opposite. According to physiognomists, eyebrows reflect relationships with the immediate environment. The pleasant shape of the eyebrows signals that their owner gets along with others.

When thick eyebrows at the outer ends are raised, they say that this is a sign of generosity of the soul and courage. Such a person is considered born for success. Lowered outer ends of the eyebrows indicate shyness. When, in terms of structure and color, such eyebrows seem lifeless, it is believed that this is a consequence of the depletion of internal energy. If a man has equal and long eyebrows, and besides, pleasant-looking skin, he is reputed to be an intellectual. A woman with such eyebrows is considered a coquette, you can expect any trick from her. Short eyebrows always mean the opposite. However, short but thick eyebrows speak of the explosive nature of their owner. If the eyebrows are thick and bristly, their owner is a “devilish” nature. Bristly eyebrows always indicate obstinacy, stubbornness, uncompromisingness. Thick, heavy eyebrows connecting at the bridge of the nose mean an irresistible desire for leadership. A woman with such eyebrows has a strong character, she is not suitable for the traditional role of a housewife. Highly located eyebrows are a sign of purposefulness. Eyebrows that are very low indicate the opposite.

Rice. 2. The shape of the forehead.

FOREHEAD. If the upper side of the triangle is wide, this is a sign of a faithful comrade, a practical, businesslike person who is more interested in business affairs than home, family. The narrow upper side of the triangle indicates the possibility of family troubles. Such a forehead speaks of an independent character. The hair of an artist, artist, in a word, a creative person often grows in the shape of the letter M. Such people do not care about tomorrow. broken line hair speaks of a difficult childhood.

Rice. 3. Wrinkles of the face.

WRINKLES. Short, irregular wrinkles on the forehead are a sign of health. One, but a well-defined wrinkle across the forehead is a sign of luck. Two or three transverse wrinkles and a vertical one crossing them speak of success in the future. It is a sign of longevity and glory. Two short but deep wrinkles between the eyebrows are found in thinkers and good administrators. Deep folds from the nostrils to the lips are a sign of long life and great success.

At the beginning of the 20th century the largest researcher facial expressions K. Huter gave detailed description how, by the proportions of the main parts of the human face, one can understand the essence of the personality, see the tension of willpower and the desire for self-education, the contradiction between prudence and ideal aspirations, on the one hand, and sensual impulses and base instincts, on the other. The scientist believed that based on the proportion of the face, one can judge the propensity for self-discipline and self-education, for a calm, conscious or instinctive and unconscious way of life.

Huter divides the human face into three main parts: 1) the forehead, the shape of which determines the way of mental activity, the real understanding of life; 2) the middle part, reflecting the degree of sensuality and character, spiritual depth and inner content. In particular, the eyes and mouth inform about the mental activity prevailing at the moment, the direction of thought, the nose - about the vital will or the character conditioned by it, the shape and expressiveness of the nose is significantly influenced by appearance forehead and lower face; 3) Bottom part, which gives an idea of human energy, his love for pleasures and about base instincts, reveals the desire for his own benefit and selfishness.

The size and width of the forehead and the lower part of the face make it possible to judge the strength of emotions, and the middle part, on the contrary, about the subtlety of feelings and tenderness. A small, narrow middle part of the face indicates subtle spiritual feelings, a massive one indicates will and pride, love for external manifestations and insufficiently subtle feelings. Refinement and differentiation inner life enliven the middle part of the face, especially near the nose and eyes. Impoverishment, coarsening of the inner life are also reflected in the shape of the face.

By the ratio of the parts of the face, Huter proposes to determine the character and temperament of a person (Fig. 4). Here are some examples.

1. Forehead, middle and lower parts of the face of the same height. A person with such a face has a harmonious balance between physiology and the emotional-intellectual sphere. Activity, the desire for pleasure and a sense of the joy of life are controlled by his mental activity. He is characterized by truthfulness combined with cheerfulness and love of work. He is laid-back but restrained, cordial, lively and sociable, but with a developed sense

Rice. 4. The ratio of parts of the face.

own dignity, is not constrained and, thanks to the innate disposition, is in harmonious balance.

    The forehead and lower part of the face are the same size, andthe middle part is somewhat longer. The long nose in this case does not disturb the harmony of the forms, and since they are quite refined, here also we see a harmonious life direction and a noble life of the senses. Such a person has representativeness, he is distinguished by endurance and talent, a harmoniously noble essence.

    The forehead is small, the middle and lower parts of the face are large. Such a person is impulsive and rude, the desire for the manifestation of strength and will dominates his feelings and reason. He shows courage, courage and inquisitiveness, possesses aggressiveness and great strength convictions, prone to reckless use of energy, capable of neglecting even pleasures, very demanding of himself.

    The forehead and middle part of the face are long, the lower part of the faceshort. Such a person, by force of will, by sharp and cold intellect, achieves more than his physical abilities allow. He is stubborn, does not recognize "tenderness", the form of the sheet, strict, pedantic. Along with outstanding abilities, he shows negative tendencies.

    The lower part of the face is long, the middle part is somewhat shorter,the forehead is even shorter. A full, soft and large lower part of the face indicates a thirst for pleasure. All mental and mental activity of such a person is focused on this. He is practical and down to earth, not inclined to change places, conservative in his views. He has neither emotional nor spiritual ups. It is difficult to stir it up, but if it succeeds, it is just as difficult to stop it.

6. The nose is small, the forehead and lower part of the face are large. The intellectual life of such a person is as high as the desire for pleasure. He is impressionable, soft-hearted, good-natured. He is characterized by warmth and emotional empathy. He has a hard time making a career.

7. The nose is too small, snub-nosed, the forehead and lower part of the face are long. The mind and sensual instincts of this man are strong and expended unbridled. He is aggressive, arrogant and full of inner restlessness, has a penetrating power, quick-tempered, internally anarchic. Thought life is active, but the work lacks discipline and patience. With a high intellect, he likes to "insert hairpins", raises problems and expresses sharp criticisms, but he himself cannot eliminate the shortcomings and create something better, but is rich in ideas, which gives him a certain brilliance.

8. The lower and middle parts of the face are small, the forehead is high. Such proportions. characterize the man of thought and feeling. Activity and thirst for pleasure lag behind him. He is simple and modest, possesses intuition, gentle in feelings, prone to self-denial and disinterestedness, sacrifice, true to his ideal. Mental depth is combined in this person with honesty.

9. The forehead is longer than the nose, and the nose is longer than the lower jaw. Such proportions characterize a person with a high spirit, who intelligently regulates the life of feelings, owns instincts and at the same time serves high life ideals.

Profiles 1, 2, 8 and 9 characteristic of creative natures, true to life ideals. They guarantee perfect life progress and happy development. Profiles 3 and 5 are characteristic elementary personalities, strong in activity, as well as in peace and enjoyment. They are guided by real life and feel good in it. Profile b occupies an intermediate position between the two named groups. Profiles 4 and 7 belong to intellectually gifted people, but "problematic" in character and generally acting rather negatively (due to the hardness and critical nature).

EYES. They have long been considered "windows of the soul." The eyes have always determined the inner experiences of people. It is believed that a person with beautiful and attractive eyes has health, will, intelligence, temperament. Such eyes, according to physiognomists, radiate light and heat. They are well protected for centuries, have an expressive iris.

In assessing the character and fate of people, the eyes occupy a central place. Treatises on physiognomy recommend starting the "reading" of the face with the eyes. However, it should be borne in mind that the most reliable information can be obtained from the eyes of a person who is already over 40, that is, when all personality traits have settled.

Large eyes usually indicate the sensitivity of the soul, often courage and even the desire for leadership. Small eyes often belong to closed, sometimes self-satisfied and stubborn people. Often such people are distinguished by amazing constancy. A wide iris is a sign of softness and calmness, a narrow one indicates an imbalance in internal processes, which adversely affects relationships with others. By the color of the iris, one can judge the presence or absence of vitality: black, brown and green - energy, blue - sensitivity, light brown - shyness.

The planting of the eyes also says a lot: both eyes on the same horizontal line are a favorable sign; eyes are slanted downwards - for men, determination, for women, indiscretion; if the upper eyelid is slightly lowered - this is a sign of maturity, if it is strong, then in men it means depletion of energy. The unpleasant color of the lowered eyelid indicates physiological abnormalities; swollen lower eyelid hectic life; too sagging lower eyelid indicates the uncontrollability of desires; swollen eyelids (upper and lower) - fatigue from life. If the outer corners of the eyes are buried in a network of divergent wrinkles, this is a sign of insight.

The Japanese distinguish between types of eyes. Large, with a lively brilliance - the eyes of a dragon. Such eyes are endowed with a person who uses power. The elongated shape of the eyes with the rims bent upwards are the eyes of the sphinx, a refined nature. Large eyes with numerous folds on the eyelids - the eyes of a lion, they are endowed with leaders. Elephants have narrow, elongated eyes with double, triple eyelids; they are usually characteristic of obese people, calm in nature. Round, with a yellowish sheen - the eyes of a tiger. Narrow, small eyes with a black and yellow iris - the eyes of a sheep; eyes with a triangular cut and sagging eyelids - the eyes of a horse; broken eyes upper eyelid and a dull iris - the eyes of a boar; eyes with an excessively wide iris - the eyes of a wolf. In Japan, up to 40 types of eyes are distinguished, and all of them are identified with the eyes of animals. The behavior characteristic of such an animal is attributed to the owners of the corresponding type of eyes.

EARS. Eastern physiognomy pays attention to the ears. When “reading”, faces are based on a general rule: a well-shaped ear indicates a happy childhood, shapelessness and pallor of the ears indicate the influence of adverse factors. Too big ears almost always indicate personality flaws, too small - also about trouble.

By the ears and their position on the head, intelligence and character are judged. Upper edge of the ears: above the level of the eyebrows - high intelligence; at eye level - above average intelligence; below eye level - average or even low intelligence. An ear without a well-shaped lobe indicates an imbalance in the personality. The lobe is long - carelessness, the lobe is not very pronounced - scrupulousness. People with very large lobes in the East are considered sages. If the earlobe leans forward slightly, this is sincerity. The inner rim of the ear is an indicator emotional experiences: if the rim is retracted - restraint, if protruded - incontinence. Preference is given to pink ears; yellowness or blueness of the ears is considered a sign of malaise. Dark color skin near the front and top of the ear - a latent disease. Moles inside the ear - trouble.

MOUTH. This is the most expressive part of the face. Tightly compressed lips and clenched teeth testify to determination, perseverance, a tightly closed mouth - to the purposefulness of a person, his determination, firmness. On the contrary, the expansion of the oral fissure (especially some sagging of the lower jaw) expresses a decrease in the mental activity of the individual. The corners of the mouth are of particular importance. C. Darwin rightly considered the corners of the mouth lowered down as a vestige of crying. Indeed, with a tearful mood and depression, the corners of the mouth are lowered. A person can joke, seem active, but the corners of his mouth betray his depressed state. The curvature of one corner of the mouth, accompanied by a temporary asymmetry of the face, is an expression of an ironic smile.

Physiognomy allows you to determine the internal energy of a person by the shape and size of the mouth. The Japanese like a large mouth in men and a small mouth in women. A woman with a big mouth is considered masculine, which is not very popular.

Rice. 5. Smile and laughter (drawing by P. Rubens).

men. General opinion: people with a small mouth are preoccupied with the struggle for survival, endowed with a weak character. thin line closed lips speaks of the scrupulous nature. A person with a large mouth and downturned corners of the lips has strong will, is difficult to influence. A constantly twitching mouth ("horse mouth") is a sign of neuroticism.

A small mouth in the shape of an arc (the corners of the lips tend to droop) belongs to a sensitive nature. Bulging, large lips are evidence of success. Symmetrical (without distortions) opening of the mouth speaks of the balance of emotions. If wrinkles descend to both sides of the mouth, this is a sign of a difficult life. If such wrinkles go to the corners of the lips from the wings of the nose (a mouth-nose ring is created), this is evidence of deceit. The mouth, one side of which is lowered, often belongs to the stubborn. The upper lip clearly protrudes above the lower one - indecision, the lower one protrudes further than the upper one - selfishness. Wrinkles above the lips are a natural sign of aging. Often fine wrinkles signal poor health. Wrinkles that cut deep into the lips sometimes speak of prosperity in youth and deprivation in adulthood.

Physiognomy - mouth-lips ...

Along with the eyes, the mouth is the most expressive part of the face. The science of physiognomy allows you to determine the size and shape of the mouth internal energy person. A large mouth and lowered corners of the lips speak of a strong will, that is, it is difficult to influence such a person. Although the opinion regarding the corners of the mouth is rather ambiguous. Charles Darwin, for example, believed that the corners of the mouth lowered to the bottom indicate a whiny mood or depression. According to another opinion, the owner of a small arched mouth with slightly lowered corners is sentimental and vulnerable. The raised corners of the lips correspond to an ingenuous, conscientious and mentally gifted nature.
According to physiognomists, a small mouth indicates weak character and concerns in the struggle for survival. The Japanese, for example, are impressed by the large mouth in men and the small mouth in women. A woman with a big mouth is considered masculine, which is very disliked. strong-willed men.

It has been noticed that tightly compressed lips and clenched teeth speak of a person's perseverance. A tightly closed mouth is about determination and determination. On the contrary, an open mouth, especially with drooping of the lower jaw, expresses a decrease mental activity. The symmetrical opening of the mouth, without distortions, indicates a balance of emotions.

In a word, we can say that a large mouth is evidence of courage and at the same time deceit, a small one is fearfulness, as well as modesty, a compressed one is firmness, an open mouth is stupidity.

Also great importance in physiognomy is attached to the size, shape and color of the lips. Representatives various schools physiognomists interpret differently. For example, according to one school, thick and large lips speak of mockery and reason, thin and small - about deceit and slyness. A thick upper lip is about injustice, a long lower lip is about amorousness and reason. Heart-shaped lips are about determination and activity, and retracted lips are about gullibility and a bad state of affairs.

According to another school of physiognomists, they differ various kinds lips, especially in women:

- lips with a bow - the most feminine. They testify to charm, coquetry, sensuality and at the same time about insincerity and deceit. In men, this is a sign of vanity and frivolity;

- lively, talkative, open people have juicy lips, who quickly make friends, easily adapt to any situation and are distinguished by temperament and sensuality;

- small lips - gentle, thin, with soft lines, speak of generosity, intelligence, honesty and modesty;

– thin lips – cold, but charming. They give out a passionate nature, very gentle, but sometimes too restrained. Such a person is difficult to captivate, in any situation he is eloquent and witty. Too thin lips are hard people capable of meanness;

- harmonious lips - thinly traced and somewhat ironic, may belong to a poetess and an intellectual who knows how to combine reality with sentimentality;

- asymmetrical lips - due to the large upper lip, they belong to an imperious, dry person with a rational mind and devoid of emotions. If the lower lip is pursed at the same time, then this indicates impotence in men and frigidity in women;

- thick (puffy) lips are at the same time a sign of sensuality and firmness of character, the distinguishing features of which are excellent self-control, unshakable calmness and the need for pleasure.

In the same way, by the shape of the mouth, or rather by the bend of the lips at the time of the kiss, one can assess the character and temperament of your chosen one or partner. The "geometry of the lips" during a kiss is an excellent material for serious scientific study. As early as the beginning of the 20th century. an accurate test was developed based on identifying the manner of kissing: the subject covers his lips with lipstick and instead of pleasant lips or cheeks, "kisses" a white sheet of paper. Identification of the imprint of such a kiss will allow a person to know about the character and attitude towards him of his (or her) chosen one.

Various lip impressions at the moment of the kiss and their identification:

A - a mouth in the form of a regular circle: the partner deserves complete trust;

B - mouth in the form of a deformed circle: attraction to you is not serious;

B - mouth in the form of a semicircle: the partner is sincere, but without special guarantees;

G - mouth in the form of a deformed semicircle: promises made in a fever will be kept;

D - mouth with a flat horizontal line: a partner with a kind big heart;

E - mouth in the form of a torn caret; sado-masochist partner;

G - horn with a deformed vertical line: a very timid partner;

Z - lines of the mouth in the form of a regular zigzag: a partner who hates you.

Reading lips
Vladimir Maleshin
Is it possible to describe a person's character to the smallest detail by one glance at his ... lips? Some consider this to be complete nonsense, others are skeptical and wary of technology, others agree - yes, physiognomy has the right to exist - but they never use it in their personal lives and professional activity. Vladimir Maleshin, one of the most respected HRs in Russia, trusts physiognomy one hundred percent. He really knows how to read people's faces and lips. How he does it? We tried to find out in an exclusive interview.
How do you convince your supervisors that the candidate is not suitable for this job in terms of physiognomy, despite the perfect resume?
- The fact is that over the years, the experience began to work for me - like a student's record book. With age, it has become much easier, you don’t have to spend a lot of time on persuasion, people rely on my professionalism. In general, of course, I use many methods integrated assessment. Physiognomy - I would like to emphasize this especially - is only one of the components integrated approach to the evaluation of the candidate. You need to be able to ask tricky questions, apply elements of a stressful interview, find out during the interview about the shortcomings of a person, tell the manager what potential threats this candidate may carry.
One of the best friends of our magazine, Boris Khigir, is a frantic preacher of the theory that a person's character matches his name and patronymic. How do you feel about this technique? Is it stronger or weaker than physiognomy?
- Based on practice and my own life experience, I confirm: the theory of determining the qualities of a person by name "patronymic" is absolutely correct. I am deeply convinced that a person's character is formed largely due to the name that a person is called from the first day of birth. Moreover note that this name is pronounced by different people - parents, friends, acquaintances - and in accordance with the timbre of the child's voice, different parts of the brain will be activated. A person begins to perceive the world through his name, and thus the character is formed. Moreover, I would say that the formation occurs depending on how often and strongly certain parts of the brain are activated from the first hours of the baby's birth.
You respectfully speak about this theory. Do you use it yourself?
- Not. I am deeply convinced that a professional should rely on those methods that he himself knows perfectly. I have been doing physiognomy since 1968. It's been 42 years since I read the book as a freshman
Veresaeva. It contained the following words: “The eyes are the mirror of the soul. What nonsense!.. What nonsense! Eyes are a deceptive mask, eyes are screens that hide the soul.
The mirror of the soul is the lips. And if you want to know the soul of a person, look at his lips. Watch out for the eyes! Because of the eyes, people are so often mistaken. Lips are not deceived. From that moment I began to observe people's lips and correlate them with characters. I felt the first joy from the ability to determine the character by the lips after a few months of observing people. Now, after 40 years, I have a certain “video library” of lips in my head, behind which there are certain personality traits, behavioral characteristics, etc. Lips, in my opinion, are the most accurate, most faithful and most powerful tool for assessing a stranger .
Lips like others external signs, - this is genetics, a "gift" of parents. What happens, we are initially born with a “ready-made” character and cannot change it?
- Undoubtedly, character is given to us along with genes. A person's behavioral characteristics may change over time, but personality traits do not change. You know, a dispute often arises, “mother's” child or “dad's”, whose character the child will have. So here's a simple tip for you, it's very easy to determine: just look at whose lips. The conclusion, it would seem, is obvious ... but it had to be reached in a practical way.
This has been repeatedly verified by me, confirmed by my parents, demonstrated in photographs, told at my seminars, etc. Psychologists often say that character is formed during adolescence.
- Once again I emphasize: we get character at birth along with genes. During adolescence, certain emotional and psychophysiological changes occur: a person becomes more stubborn, nervous, receptive, and so on, but innate character traits are preserved. Other behavioral traits determined not only by intelligence, but also by dependence on life situations. The instinct of self-preservation makes us put on a mask that is beneficial in the current moment. Therefore, each person, finding himself in an unfamiliar situation and communicating with strangers, will always hide his shortcomings, trying to show himself better than he really is. But he cannot change the shape of his mouth.
- He can’t, and no matter how hard he tries to show at the first meeting how kind, affectionate and fluffy he is, you can already tell from the lowered corners of his lips alone: in front of you is a demanding, cruel, obese person.
Perhaps this is exactly what is needed, say, for the position of head of security?
- This is a very interesting moment. You can really tell by the lips whether a person is suitable for work in the security service or not. Obviously, he must have an innate ability to keep a secret and not share it with anyone, under any circumstances. Only those people who have a small mouth are capable of this (when the width of the mouth is much less than the imaginary vertical lines that can be drawn through the middle of the pupils). When a person has lips of at least medium width, situations will definitely arise in his life when it will be difficult for him to keep secret information: “I’ll just tell you, but in no case do you tell anyone else.” A wide mouth indicates extraversion, the ability to communicate easily, enjoying communication; but, as you may have guessed, such people cannot be trusted with secrets.
On the shelves of bookstores now there are a lot of books on physiognomy, aimed at a mass audience. But HR and executives really still do not want to reckon with this technology.
- It really is. At one of the seminars a few years ago, we conducted a study of how much HRs trust physiognomy when evaluating a candidate. The result is the following: GPA among men - 3.6, among women - 5.8. This indicates an underestimation of the significance of the methodology, the lack of sufficient popularization, and most importantly, a lack of knowledge in this area. Personally, I give physiognomy ten points out of ten. Physiognomy - most effective tool stranger's ratings!
The problem is not even that HRs do not believe in the effectiveness of the methodology - it's just that the choice of candidates is often too narrow. Now you have four resumes on your desk. If all these candidates have the “wrong” mouth, will you continue to look further?
- Unfortunately no. Often you have to choose from a limited number of candidates who are suitable solely for their professional qualities. Candidates may not be suitable for the level of remuneration, compliance with corporate culture,
mentality, etc. You have to restrain your joy from communicating with a person who has a pleasant character, who is easy, flexible and communicative, non-capricious, non-conflict, but he lacks professional competencies, and give preference to a tough, intolerant, unrestrained professional.
Why, then, is your technology needed at all? Why Higira technology?
- They work when the labor market allows you to choose 30 candidates out of 20. Then you can look at both professional qualities and physiognomy. Now, thank God, there is a choice. Of course, it is different for different specialties, but it is especially difficult now for students - on average, there are more than 20 of them per place. Now there is a large selection of candidates in pharmaceuticals, sales, and medicine. The situation has generally improved in recent years. The first significant warming occurred in autumn 2009. New vacancies appeared, which allowed the labor market to become more active.
Of course, your forty years of experience with the technique is difficult to fit into our interview and reduce to some specific things. But let's still try to formulate some simple tips on how to "read" a person's lips. You already mentioned the dependence of the ability to keep secrets on the size of his mouth. What other conclusions can be drawn "at a glance"?
- I will be happy to share with readers the conclusions that I have repeatedly verified and work in 100% of cases. Let's start with the "crooked" mouth. When a person speaking to you twists his lips, asymmetrically lowering one side, this speaks of depravity - first of all, arrogance, neglect of other people. A crooked mouth, in principle, is a sign of a complex character, be careful with such people!
One of the most striking signs: the dependence of a person's character on the fullness of his lips. Let's take two extreme situations - very thin lips and full lips "heart". People with thin lips live by reason, rely on the mind, and people with full lips are sensual, emotional, more often listening to their hearts. Depending on the fullness of the lips, a person in life will more often rely either on the mind or on the heart. Thin lips betray good friends, and large full lips betray sybarites. Look at yourself in profile. In people of good character, the upper and lower lip will be of equal fullness. (But keep in mind, in men, the lower lip is often fuller than the upper, and this is the norm). A protruding lower lip or a thrown upper lip will speak of obvious flaws in the character. There can be many explanations and details, but I will say the simplest things: a protruding lower lip speaks of a person's swagger, and an upper lip that is thrown over indicates indecision.
When the upper lip is fuller than the lower one, it is better not to argue with such a person - it is almost impossible to convince him. Raised up corners of the mouth indicate optimism, dimples in the corners of the lips and on the cheeks are a sign good character. With the corners down, egocentrics and skeptics live. If we talk about the line of closing the lips, in people with a calm character it is even, horizontal, and in overly emotional people it is wavy; to be convinced of this, it is enough to look at the line of closing lips of Vladimir Zhirinovsky. Also, when meeting a person, it is useful to pay attention to the contours of the lips, the so-called Cupid line. In simple, unsophisticated people, it is smooth and calm. Those who have the Cupid line outlined clearly and vividly have a sophisticated mind, they are able to generate ideas, make suggestions, be witty. At the same time, these people can be very caustic, harsh and sharp.
There are many extraordinary personalities among people with beautifully defined lips, but among them there are also those who can subtly take revenge, hit hard, find a reason to subtly humiliate another person. I have done over 40,000 interviews in my life. All of the above observations are based on my vast practice of interviews and assessments. strangers. In my home library of books on physiognomy, the language of facial expressions and gestures - about the size of my height. All these books have been read, analyzed, but I use only proven practice in my work.
Let's recap: what kind of people at work do you need to be very careful with?
- As I said, a person with a full upper lip is not the one with whom one should enter into any kind of confrontation. You can’t tease him, it’s better not to argue with him, this can end in a serious conflict. The boss with a protruding lower lip is capricious and swaggering, when communicating with him, you need to be flexible and careful, once again "do not tease the beast." By the way, it is not a protruding lip that speaks especially strongly about stubbornness, but protruding ears, and the stronger, the more pronounced. If your child has such ears, you can immediately say that raising him will be very difficult.
Who can take revenge?
- People with thin lips or a "sophisticated" Cupid's line.
What about betraying?
- It's very subjective. personal concept that goes beyond behavioral characteristics. Everyone has their own definition of betrayal. A person with any shape of lips can betray ... it is simply impossible to predict.
Bite correction, plastic surgery, stroke - all this greatly changes the face of a person. Can a change in appearance lead to a change in character? And does physiognomy work in such cases?
- The first enemy of a physiognomist is plastic surgery. If a woman has changed her lips with plastic surgery, a mistake is inevitable. I think that the behavioral signs of a person who has undergone plastic surgery change in any case; however, I do not dare to judge how much the character itself is changing, because I do not have such statistics. A change in the face as a result of a stroke is a rare case, far from the topic of our conversation. I would draw your attention to this: with age, a person's lips seem thinner, although in fact they simply become more closed, because the teeth are gradually eaten away. This is a natural age process that should always be taken into account when evaluating an elderly person.
What other “corrections” should be made when evaluating a person by their face?
- Exist gender specifics facial structures. For example, in women, the upper and lower lip are usually the same fullness, and in 60% of men, the lower lip is larger than the upper one. This is the norm and does not indicate character traits. An amendment also needs to be made for race: representatives of the Mongoloid, Caucasian and Negroid races have a different structure of the skull, a different shape of the lips, nose, and so on. This does not mean that physiognomy does not work there. It works effectively - but within the framework of a particular race. All my today's reasoning refers to the European, first of all, the Slavic type of face.
Everything that we have just talked about, referred to a static face. What conclusions can be drawn from the dynamics - lip movements, smiles, conversations, etc.?
- There is one interesting detail that I noticed when communicating with people (this is exclusively my observation, you will not find this in any book): if a person’s upper row of teeth is exposed during a conversation, he has an easy character. Accordingly, when the lower tooth is exposed, this means that you have a complex, “biting” person in front of you. It is logical that in a low-emotional person, the lips and facial expressions during a conversation remain relatively calm. In turn, for people who are overly emotional, the Cupid line is constantly moving, literally “walking shaking”. However, there are also “static” marks on the face, these are dimples. In the corners of the lips and on the cheeks, they speak of a good, light character, and on the chin, on the contrary.
A lot can be said from facial wrinkles. Crow's feet form at the corners of the eyes in people with easy temper, those who often smile and laugh. Many women use Botox to ruthlessly destroy these charming wrinkles. Unfortunately, along with them, those “signals” that indicate the smile and goodwill of these women also go away. The emotionality of a person in adulthood is easy to determine on the basis of folds, wrinkles on the face. Especially - a pronounced nasolabial fold, wrinkles on the forehead ... You know, I really like the anecdote that my mother told in childhood: Why do women have vertical wrinkles on their foreheads, while men have horizontal ones? Because a woman constantly asks: “Where is the money?”, And the man raises his eyebrows in surprise: “What money?”
When it came to the stubbornness of the bosses, you mentioned not only the lips, but also the ears...
- Ears are a part of the face, which, according to physiognomic significance, I put in second place after the lips. By the way, by the ears you can determine not only the character, but also the resource of health and longevity. Large auricles with a well-formed lobe are a 100% guarantee of longevity. A strong fleshy lobe is a sign of energy, health, emotional development person. But the most important thing is, of course, the size of the ears. Look today at the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, at other centenarians - everyone, without exception, has huge ears. Good physical condition is also indicated by strong, even teeth, healthy skin and hair, a clean forehead and whites of the eyes, and long eyebrows. Short eyebrows - especially if it is noticeable that the ends are falling out - are an indicator of diseases of the endocrine system.
In seminars, I not only talk about this, but also show dozens of examples in the photo to teach clearly and visually.
One of your biggest successes...
- Formation in the 90s of the staff of the company "Sunrise". When I got there, there were forty people working there; I brought the number of the company to four hundred. At the same time, the production and sale of computers, the investment department, Sunrise Bank, etc. were organized - all divisions worked as one close-knit team. Unfortunately, the company lasted only a few years, but at that time the staff turnover was zero. My merit in this was the competent selection of personnel. There were no conflicts in the team at all.
All thanks to physiognomy?
- And so does she. Thanks to big competition during the selection, I had the opportunity to rely on all my professional knowledge, including physiognomy. I repeat: all methods of evaluation and selection must be used in combination.
How to learn physiognomy?
- Anyone who wants to comprehend this complex, but amazing and magical way of assessing people can learn physiognomy. The secret of mastering physiognomy is simple: you need to start observing and assessing the character of a person’s face and lips, starting with the closest people you know well. Gradually, you will learn to compare certain character traits with facial features of a person. But it will take years...

By looking at the face, you can not only get an idea of \u200b\u200bthe person who is standing in front of you, but also find out his past and predict the future. Once upon a time, the art of reading faces - physiognomy - was dubbed pseudoscience, but now hardly anyone will deny that there is some truth in it, and a considerable proportion.

What can his face say about a person? Almost everything! Let's start with the form: chubby people can easily adapt to any environment, they are energetic and easily overcome both personal and financial difficulties. A square face betrays a strong and determined person with a heightened sense of justice. Such people are born leaders. A person with a thin, elongated face goes to success, overcoming difficulties, much is not easy for him, but this does not detract from his kindness. Oval face speaks of prudence and calmness. We can see large facial features in self-sufficient, successful people.

The complexion can also say a lot, but this is more medicine than physiognomy. Each doctor can determine the general state of health by the color of the skin on the face. An unhealthy blush will tell you about high blood pressure, and an earthy skin tone will give out a problem with digestion. Paleness is a consequence of a lack of hemoglobin in the blood or anemia, blueness - oxygen starvation, yellowness - problems with the liver or spleen.
By the dark circles under the eyes, we recognize an overtired person, this area is also responsible for fertility. If the skin around the eyes is light and elastic, there will be many children, and the person will be with them in great relationship.

Now let's move on to the parts of the face.

Forehead:
A high, convex, wide forehead is a sign of a bright mind and sociability, but the owner of a sloping or narrow forehead is unlikely to take in society high position.

Ears:
We rarely try to learn about a person by his ears - but in vain. Ears, the upper part of which is above the line of the eyebrows, are a sign of intelligence and ambition. Closed ears give out authoritative people. Owners of large and fleshy ears, as a rule, live in abundance. And people who have pointed ears, like bats, often do not have the strength to resist instincts.

Cheekbones:
High, prominent cheekbones will say that you have a fighter in front of you who can achieve a lot. If a person lives measuredly, quietly and in no hurry, he has low cheekbones. He is unlikely to be a leader.

Nose:
Nose - that they just do not measure by its size and shape! The face of a good-natured optimist and an honest person is decorated with a large straight nose, a pessimist was awarded a small nose. If this part of the face is naturally curved, you have a person with complex nature. But it is better not to quarrel with the owner of a hooked nose.

Lips:
Thin lips speak of purposefulness, determination and composure, which are often accompanied by cruelty. On the contrary, it will be easy with a person who has full lips. He is benevolent and honest, though simple, and his life is filled with positive emotions.

The chin:
A wide full chin portends a comfortable old age, square and protruding - evidence of great willpower. A dimpled or bifurcated chin is a sign of a passionate nature, and a beveled or pointed one promises problems in life.

Brows:
Wide thick eyebrows adorn bold, straight people with a strong sexual constitution. But their owners often suffer from the manners of a dictator. Owners thin eyebrows much more modest, they are secretive and often get sick. If the eyebrows are bent to the top - in front of you is a friendly and slightly capricious person, high eyebrows are a sign of generosity. And bushy eyebrows are called devilish - their carrier is obsessed with various obsessions. The fused eyebrows express confusion, a jealous character. Such a person most likely had a difficult childhood.

Eyes:
Eyes are the most main part faces. Big eyes indicate artistic talent, a broad soul, as well as an inability to manage money. People with small eyes are usually extremely cautious and prudent. Owner bulging eyes easily gets carried away and loves to play pranks on friends. Close-set eyes speak of seriousness, even isolation, wide-set eyes - of naivety and gullibility. And yet, the expression of the eyes can tell much more about a person than their shape.

The science of reading faces is very deep - in order to master it well, you need to read more than one book, study hundreds of faces. You cannot draw conclusions about a person by analyzing only his nose or mouth. If you come to sad conclusions by looking at the faces of loved ones and your own in a new way, do not be discouraged! Physiognomy does not make diagnoses - it indicates the direction in which you need to work on yourself. And remember that there are always exceptions to the rules.
