Contents of The Little Prince. Encyclopedia of fairy tale characters: "The Little Prince"

It tells about a little boy who, having read in a book of "true stories" about how a boa constrictor swallowed his victim, drew a boa constrictor that swallowed an elephant. In the drawing, he depicted a boa constrictor from the outside and from the inside, but for adults, the drawing resembled a hat. And on the advice of the elders, the boy gives up classes on "nonsense", and stubbornly studies exact sciences, geography, history and spelling. The boy changed his career to the profession of a pilot.

Once the pilot made an emergency landing in the Sahara desert, due to a breakdown of the aircraft engine. He was forced to either die or repair it, since there were no passengers or a mechanic with him, and there would hardly be enough water for a week.

Having fallen asleep on the sand in the desert, the pilot was awakened by a tiny boy with golden hair, who appeared from nowhere, who insistently asked him to draw a lamb. The surprised pilot did not dare to refuse the little prince, who saw an elephant in a boa constrictor in the first drawing. Having got to know the prince better, the pilot learned that he had flown from a small planet "asteroid B - 612". The boy's life on the planet was boring and measured, every morning he began by putting his planet in order, cleaning three volcanoes and weeding out baobab sprouts. The little Prince he often liked to look at the sunset, moving his chair after the sun. But his life changed dramatically when his planet appeared beautiful rose, proud beauty with thorns. The little prince began to look after her and fell in love with a capricious flower, but the rose was arrogant and admitted that she was in love with the prince, and only then did he decide to leave his planet.

Saying goodbye to the rose, the little prince put things in order on the planet and went on a journey to neighboring planets. On a nearby asteroid lived a king dressed in purple and ermine, seated on a throne. The king so wanted to command that he persuaded the little prince to stay on his planet, offering him the position of minister, but the prince got bored with the "strange adults" and he continued on his way. On the second planet, the prince met an ambitious man who dreamed of being admired by everyone. Further on the prince's path he met a drunkard, on the fourth, a businessman who was constantly engaged in calculations and was not distracted by anything. Hitting on next planet, the prince met a lamplighter, who fell in love with him. The lamplighter lit the lanterns in the evenings and put them out in the morning. The lamplighter's planet was so tiny that day and night alternated every minute. If the planet weren’t so tiny, the little prince would gladly stay with a lamplighter, especially since one could admire the sunset here as much as fourteen hundred times a day!

On the sixth planet, the prince met a geographer who began to question him about the planets and countries visited by the little prince. He wanted to tell the old geographer about his flower, but the geographer explained that only mountains and oceans are recorded in books, and flowers are not eternal. Then the little prince realized that his beloved rose might soon disappear. However, the prince continued his journey, constantly thinking about his rose.

The seventh planet that the little prince landed on was Earth. It was inhabited by seven thousand geographers, more than a hundred kings, nine hundred thousand businessmen, seven and a half drunkards, whole army lamplighters.

Here the Little Prince made friends with the snake, the Fox and the pilot. The mysterious snake promised that when he suffers and is very sad for his planet, to help the prince return. The fox taught the prince to be friends, he explained to him that in order to make friends with someone, you need to create bonds, and always be responsible for those you tamed. The little prince also learned that the most important thing cannot be seen with the eyes, only the heart is truly vigilant. After all, you can grow thousands of stars, have wealth and not understand that happiness is in a sip of water, in the aroma of a single rose, dear to the heart. Then the prince decided to return to his rose.

The pilot repaired the plane and returned to his comrades, he was very sad to say goodbye to the little prince who managed to tame him, but the prince convinced him that every time he looked at the stars, he would be able to see him and smile.

The Little Prince is childhood, but at the same time a profound work. Antoine de Saint-Exupery placed in a light and small fairy tale a reflection of the real adult world with its advantages and disadvantages. In places it is satire, myth, fantasy and a tragic story. Therefore, a multifaceted book is liked by both small and large readers.

"The Little Prince" was born during the Great patriotic war. It all started with the drawings of Exupery, in which he portrayed the same “little prince”.

Exupery, being a military pilot, once got into a plane crash, it happened in 1935 in the Libyan desert. Opening old wounds, memories of the catastrophe and news of the outbreak of the world war inspired the writer to create the work. He thought about the fact that each of us is responsible for the place where he lives, whether it is a small apartment or a whole planet. And the struggle casts doubt on this responsibility, because it was during that fierce battle of many countries that the deadly nuclear weapon. Alas, many people did not give a damn about their home, since they allowed wars to bring humanity to such extreme measures.

The work was created in 1942 in the USA, a year later it became available to the reader. The Little Prince became the final creation of the author and brought him worldwide fame. The author dedicated his book to a friend (Leon Werth), moreover, to the boy that his friend once was. It is worth noting that Leon, who was a writer and critic, being a Jew, suffered from persecution during the development of Nazism. He also had to leave his planet, but not of his own free will.

Genre, direction

Exupery talked about the meaning of life, and in this he was helped by the parable genre, which is characterized by a pronounced morality in the finale, an instructive tone of the story. A fairy tale as a parable is the most common intersection of genres. hallmark fairy tales can be called that it has a fantastic and simple plot, but at the same time it is instructive, helps young readers to form moral qualities and adults to think about their views and behavior. Fairy tale - reflection real life, but reality is presented to the reader through fiction, no matter how paradoxical it may sound. Genre originality works says that "The Little Prince" - philosophical tale-parable.

The work can also be attributed to a fantastic story.

The meaning of the name

The Little Prince is a story about a traveler who travels throughout the universe. He does not just travel, but is in search of the meaning of life, the essence of love and the secret of friendship. He learns not only the world around him, but also himself, and self-knowledge is his the main objective. It is still growing, developing and symbolizes an immaculate and tender childhood. Therefore, the author called him "small".

Why a prince? He is alone on his planet, it all belongs to him. He is very responsible in his role as a master and, despite his modest age, has already learned how to care for her. Such behavior suggests that we have a noble boy in front of us, managing his property, but what should he be called? Prince, because he is endowed with power and wisdom.

essence

The plot originates in the Sahara desert. The pilot of the plane, having made an emergency landing, meets the same Little Prince who arrived on Earth from another planet. The boy told his new acquaintance about his journey, about the planets he had visited, about his former life, about the rose that was his faithful friend. The little prince loved his rose so much that he was ready to give his life for it. The boy was dear to his house, he liked to watch the sunsets, it’s good that on his planet they could be seen several times a day, and for this the Little Prince only had to move a chair.

One day, the boy felt unhappy and decided to go in search of adventure. Rosa was proud and rarely bestowed her warmth on her patron, so she did not hold him back. During his journey, the Little Prince met: A ruler who is confident in his absolute power above the stars, the Ambitious, for whom the main thing is to be admired, the Drunkard, who drinks out of guilt for alcohol abuse, no matter how paradoxical it may sound. The boy even met the Business Man, whose main occupation is counting the stars. The little prince encountered the Lantern, who was lighting and extinguishing the lantern on his planet every minute. He also met the Geographer, who in his entire life had never seen anything but his planet. The last location of the traveler was the planet Earth, where he found a true friend. All major events are described by us in the summary of the book for the reader's diary.

Main characters and their characteristics

  1. The little Prince- the image is partially autobiographical, although it is very difficult to imagine that an adult pilot was once a little dreamer. The protagonist is a little boy, but at the same time he very often turns out to be smarter than adults who “love numbers very much”. Exupery endowed his hero with seemingly incompatible qualities: spontaneity and reliability. He is kind and loves his Rose very much, which remained on his planet. At the same time, he is still growing and does not know many things. For example, he learned friendship only on planet Earth, and he realized his love only after separation.
  2. Rose. The prototype of Rosa is the author's wife, Consuelo, a hot-tempered Latin American. The rose was a special flower, the little prince would have recognized it among thousands of other roses, all other flowers were “empty” for him. The rose was fragile and vulnerable, so the boy covered it with a glass cap. But the character of this lady was explosive and capricious: she imperiously addressed the interlocutor and often insisted on something of her own.
  3. To love is not to look at each other, it means to look in the same direction.

A person must protect his home, and not tear it apart with wars into bloody, lifeless parts. This idea was especially relevant then, during the days of the Second World War. The little prince cleaned up his planet every day to keep the baobabs from rampant. If the world had been able to unite in time and sweep the National Socialist movement led by Hitler off the face of the earth, then the bloodshed could have been prevented. For those who love the world should have taken care of it, and not locked themselves in their little planets, thinking that the storm would pass by. Because of this disunity and irresponsibility of governments and peoples, millions of people have suffered, and the writer calls, finally, to learn to faithfully and responsibly love the harmony that only friendship provides.

    What does it teach?

The story of the Little Prince is surprisingly heartfelt and instructive. Exupery's creation tells about how important it is to have a true friend nearby and how important it is to be responsible for those whom you "tamed". The fairy tale teaches to love, be friends, warns against loneliness. In addition, you should not lock yourself in your small territory, fencing off the whole world around. You need to get out of your comfort zone, learn new things, look for yourself.

Exupery also urges the reader to listen not only to his mind in making decisions, but also to his heart, because you cannot see the main thing with your eyes.

Interesting? Save it on your wall!

Familiar not only to children, but also to adults.

Characteristics of the Little Prince

The little prince is a symbol of a person - a wanderer in the universe, looking for hidden meaning things and own life. The soul of the Little Prince is not shackled by the ice of indifference, deadness. Therefore, he opens true vision world: he learns the price of true friendship, love and beauty. This is the theme of "vigilance" of the heart, the ability to "see" with the heart, to understand without words. The little prince does not immediately comprehend this wisdom. He leaves his own planet, not knowing that what he will look for on different planets will be so close - on his home planet. The little prince is laconic - he speaks very little about himself and his planet. Only little by little, from random, casually dropped words, the pilot learns that the baby flew in from a distant planet, “which is all the size of a house” and is called the asteroid B-612. The little prince tells the pilot about how he is at war with the baobabs, which take root so deep and strong that they can tear apart his little planet. The first sprouts must be weeded out, otherwise it will be too late, "this is a very boring job." But he has a "firm rule": "... got up in the morning, washed, put himself in order - and immediately put your planet in order." People must take care of the cleanliness and beauty of their planet, jointly protect and decorate it, and prevent all living things from perishing. The little prince from Saint-Exupery's fairy tale cannot imagine his life without love for gentle sunsets, without the sun. “I once saw the sunset forty-three times in one day!” he says to the pilot. And a little later he adds: “You know ... when it becomes very sad, it’s good to see how the sun goes down ...” The child feels like a particle of the natural world, he calls adults to unite with her. The kid is active and hardworking. Every morning he watered the Rose, talked to her, cleared the three volcanoes on his planet so that they gave more heat, pulled out the weeds ... And yet he felt very lonely. Looking for friends, hoping to find true love he goes on his journey through other worlds. He is looking for people in the endless desert surrounding him, because in communication with them he hopes to understand himself and the world around him, to gain experience, which he lacked so much. Visiting six planets in succession, the Little Prince on each of them encounters a certain life phenomenon embodied in the inhabitants of these planets: power, vanity, drunkenness, pseudo-science ... The images of the heroes of A. Saint-Exupery's fairy tale "The Little Prince" have their own prototypes. The image of the Little Prince is both deeply autobiographical and, as it were, removed from the adult author-pilot. He was born out of longing for the dying little Tonio - a descendant of an impoverished noble family, who was called in the family for his blond (at first) hair "The Sun King", and in college was nicknamed Lunatic for the habit of looking at starry sky. The phrase "Little Prince" itself is found, as you probably noticed, in the "Planet of People" (as well as many other images and thoughts). And in 1940, in between battles with the Nazis, Exupery often drew a boy on a piece of paper - sometimes winged, sometimes riding on a cloud. Gradually, the wings will be replaced by a long scarf (which, by the way, the author himself wore), and the cloud will become the asteroid B-612.

Characteristics of the Rose "The Little Prince"

Rosa was capricious and touchy, and the baby was completely exhausted with her. But “on the other hand, she was so beautiful that it was breathtaking!”, And he forgave the flower for its whims. However, the empty words of the beauty, the Little Prince took to heart and began to feel very unhappy. The rose is a symbol of love, beauty, feminine. The little prince did not immediately see the true inner essence of beauty. But after talking with the Fox, the truth was revealed to him - beauty only becomes beautiful when it is filled with meaning, content. “You are beautiful, but empty,” continued the Little Prince. - You don't want to die for you. Of course, a casual passer-by, looking at my Rose, will say that she is exactly the same as you. But for me she is dearer than all of you ... "Telling this story about Rose, little hero He admits that he did not understand anything at the time. “On / before it was judged not by words, but by deeds. She gave me her fragrance, lit up my life. I shouldn't have run. Behind these miserable tricks and tricks one should have guessed tenderness. The flowers are so inconsistent! But I was too young and did not yet know how to love!”

The prototype of the capricious and touching Rose is also well known, this is, of course, Exupery's wife Consuelo - an impulsive Latin American, whom her friends called "the little Salvadoran volcano." By the way, in the original, the author always writes not "Rose", but "La Aer" - a flower. But in French it is a feminine word. Therefore, in the Russian translation, Nora Gal replaced the flower with a Rose (especially since in the picture it is really a Rose). But in the Ukrainian version, nothing had to be replaced - “la fleur” easily became “kvggka”.

Characteristic Fox "The Little Prince"

Since ancient times, in fairy tales, Fox (not a fox!) Is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge of life. The conversations of the Little Prince with this wise animal become a kind of culmination in the story, because in them the hero finally finds what he was looking for. The clarity and purity of consciousness that were lost are returning to him. The fox opens the life of the human heart to the baby, teaches the rituals of love and friendship, which people have long forgotten about and therefore lost their friends and lost the ability to love. No wonder the flower says ABOUT PEOPLE: "They are carried by the wind." And the switchman in a conversation with the main character, answering the question: where are people in a hurry? remarks: "Even the driver himself does not know this." This allegory can be interpreted as follows. People have forgotten how to look at the stars at night, admire the beauty of sunsets, and enjoy the fragrance of the Rose. They submitted to the vanity of earthly life, forgetting about " simple truths”: about the joy of communication, friendship, love and human happiness:“ If you love a flower - the only one that is no longer on any of the many millionth stars - that’s enough: you look at the sky and feel happy. And the author is very bitter to say that people do not see this and turn their lives into a meaningless existence. The fox says that the prince for him is only one of a thousand other little boys, just as he is for the prince only an ordinary fox, of which there are hundreds of thousands. “But if you tame me, we will need each other. You will be the only one in the world for me. And I will be alone for you in the whole world ... if you tame me, my life will light up like the sun. I will begin to distinguish your steps among thousands of others ... ”The Fox reveals to the Little Prince the secret of taming: to tame means to create bonds of love, unity of souls.

As for the Fox, there were many disputes about prototypes and translation options. Here is what the translator Nora Gal writes in the article “Under the Star of Saint-Ex”: “When The Little Prince was published for the first time, there was a heated argument in the editorial office: the Fox in a fairy tale or the Fox - again feminine or male? Some believed that the fox in the fairy tale was Rose's rival. Here the dispute is no longer about one word, not about a phrase, but about understanding the whole image. Even more, to a certain extent - about understanding the whole fairy tale: its intonation, coloring, deep inner meaning- everything changed from this "trifle". But I am convinced that a biographical note on the role of women in the life of Saint-Exupery does not help to understand the tale and is not relevant to the case. I'm not talking about the fact that in French 1e gepars! male. The main thing in the fairy tale Fox is first of all a friend. Rose is love, Fox is friendship, and true friend The fox teaches the Little Prince fidelity, teaches him to always feel responsible for his beloved and for all his relatives and loved ones. One more observation can be added. The unusually large ears of the Fox in Exupery's drawing are most likely inspired by the small desert fox fennec fox - one of the many creatures tamed by the writer while serving in Morocco.

Antoine de Saint-Exupery used to say: "We all come from childhood." He admired those people who, as adults, managed to maintain the spontaneity and ability to enjoy every day, inherent in kids. To show how important it is to notice the little things Everyday life and grateful to the world around him, he wrote a fairy tale-parable "The Little Prince". A summary of the work will be presented in this article.

Unexpected meeting

Once upon a time, there lived a pilot who, as a child, dreamed of becoming an artist. From his story, the story "The Little Prince" by Exupery begins. Let's start the summary of his monologue with a description of the picture that the author saw when he was a six-year-old boy. The illustration depicted a boa constrictor that swallowed another victim. The snake's belly swelled up, and she fell asleep peacefully while the food was being digested in her stomach. The boy wanted to draw something similar and depicted a snake swallowing an elephant. But the adults, grinning, did not accept the masterpiece, comparing it with a hat, and advised the kid to do something useful. Arithmetic, for example.

In a word, this sad story about how a boy, disillusioned with art, became an ordinary pilot. Fairy tale "The Little Prince" summary which begins with this episode, already from the very beginning demonstrates the shortsightedness of adults, their limited inner world. As for the failed master, but a completely accomplished pilot, he successfully cut through the sky on his apparatus until he crashed over the Sahara. Without water, the man was on the verge of life and death. Imagine his surprise when one morning he woke up from the voice little boy, which turned out to be a miracle here - among the endless sands of the desert.

Extraordinary baby

The pilot thought that it was unlikely that the baby got lost, since he was very alert and did not suffer from a lack of water. The boy asked the pilot to draw a lamb: as a result, he received a picture in which there were as many as three animals. The child rejected all the animals. Then the pilot, remembering his experiments with the snake and the elephant, drew a square. He said it was a box containing a lamb. The boy was delighted and thought that now the animal will have a house in which he can sleep. This episode reveals one of the ideas of the work. "Children see what adults can't" - the main idea which expresses fairy tale and its summary. The little prince turned out to be a dreamer and dreamer, he gladly made friends with the pilot.

The kid literally bombarded the man with questions. He asked about what the lamb eats, how to feed it. The boy noticed that it was permissible for the animal to feed the baobabs. In response to the pilot’s remark that these trees are very gigantic and the little animal will not swallow them, the prince summed up: “Even the largest plants are sometimes small.” At that moment, the author of the story realized that the boy was very reasonable and intelligent.

Life on the planet

We continue to describe the summary. "The Little Prince" is a philosophical fairy tale in which each character demonstrates certain qualities of a person's character, more often negative ones. For example, the same rose that the boy looked after so carefully. He told the pilot that he lives on a very small asteroid, where only one chair, three volcanoes and flowers are actually placed. Every day he digs up harmful baobabs, which prevent useful plants from living, taking moisture from the soil from them with their huge roots.

Among all the flowers, the rose stands out very much: it is beautiful, the boy completely lost his head from her aroma. Like all beauties, she is capricious and proud, she completely exhausted the prince with her demands. Especially for the rose, the boy built a screen that protects from drafts, he watered it only with spring water. But the proud woman continued to terrorize the baby with requests, so he decided to go wandering: away from the flower, which did not appreciate the care of the owner.

Ambitious and Monarch

The fairy tale "The Little Prince" by Exupery, a summary of which is presented in this article, is very easy to read. It is clear even to children, as the essence is conveyed in an accessible way. On the first, closest, asteroid, the boy met the king. The ruler turned out to be quite smart: he said that power must be reasonable, and decisions must be thoughtful and balanced. If the order cannot be executed, it is not the subordinate who is guilty, but the one who gave it. In spite of wise sayings the king turned out to be boring, and the kid flew on.

On the second planet, the Little Prince met the ambitious man. The summary of this chapter is as follows: the owner of the asteroid constantly asked the boy to admire him, read him, say that he was the most beautiful, smart and rich. At first, the kid liked to flatter the ambitious man and clap his hands. But soon the game got tired, and he decided to talk with the owner of the planet about something else: he ignored all the attempts of the guest, as he heard only praises and compliments. The prince shrugged his shoulders and set off on his journey.

Acquaintance with a drunkard and a business man

On the next asteroid, the Little Prince met an alcoholic who looked sadly at the hordes of empty bottles. The owner said: he drinks to forget how ashamed he is to drink. The boy was completely confused, thinking that "adults are a very strange people." By the way, this phrase is one of the leitmotifs of the work. Here is the thought that can be caught by studying the summary: The Little Prince is constantly surprised by the actions of adults, seeing that their problems are easy to solve, only now they themselves do not want to be corrected due to habit or false beliefs, considering their behavior to be exclusively correct.

On the fourth planet lived a business man. He constantly considered something, wielding numbers and seeing in them the whole meaning of life. He called the stars personal property. The kid was surprised: “How can you own something that you can’t touch?” To which the business man replied that he could put the stars in the bank, that is, write down their number on a piece of paper, put it in a box and lock it with a key. The prince noticed that the celestial bodies were of no use to this, but volcanoes and flowers on his own planet only benefit from his possession, because he cares for them and loves them.

fifth planet

It was so tiny that only a lantern and the person who lit it were placed on it. The little prince thought that the new acquaintance was much better than the previous ones. He gives beauty to people: when the lamp turns on, it seems that another star has been born. But every year the asteroid rotates faster, so the lamplighter must constantly turn on and off the lantern, not even having a second to take a well-deserved rest.

After reading the summary of the story "The Little Prince", you can see another problem raised by the author. An honest and decent person is forced to work constantly. He is doomed to sleepless nights and truly hard labor. First, he understands that he is useful to society. Secondly, is too responsible and dedicated. And no one can even help him. The little prince wanted to stay here to ease the work of the lamplighter, but the planet is so small that there is absolutely no room for two people on it.

Meeting with a geographer

To convey the fullness of the thoughts of the author, their deep meaning unable to summarize. "The Little Prince" is a fairy tale in which each sentence contains catchphrase. For example, in the final part of the work, where the boy meets the geographer, he learns that any beauty and joy are short-lived. They need to be valued and cherished, enjoying the moment, enjoying those simple things that surround you today. On the advice of the geographer, the prince goes to the planet Earth, where he meets a pilot in the Sahara.

The tale-parable was presented to readers in 1943. Antoine de Saint-Exupery had never written anything like this before. As if feeling an imminent death (and he crashed just a few months later), the author wanted to convey to readers his thoughts about good and evil, the way of life and happiness. This article is very brief. The Little Prince is a work that, generally speaking, is a parting word to people on how to live. Counting numbers, sitting at textbooks, being drunkards and ambitious, they often do not notice the beauty of the world around them and do not know how to enjoy life.

Description of the work:

We are pleased to present you a summary of the fairy tale "The Little Prince", because this is one of the most famous works Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The book was written in New York and published there. Of particular interest is the fact that the drawings in the book "The Little Prince" were made by Exupery himself, and they are an integral part of the text.

When the boy was six years old, he read in a book what happens when a boa constrictor swallows a captured animal, and decided to draw a snake that swallowed an elephant. It seemed to adults that the drawing resembled a hat, although the boy depicted what a boa constrictor looks like from the outside. Adults don't understand. I had to draw another picture - there the boa constrictor was already shown from the inside. And again, the adults did not understand anything, besides, they said that it would be better for the child not to engage in nonsense, but to pay more attention to geography, history, arithmetic and spelling. And although a wonderful career as an artist opened up before the boy, he unlearned as a pilot because he stopped drawing. But that drawing remained, and, being an adult, the boy sometimes asked the same adults to look at him, but only if they were a little smarter than the others. But they also said that the picture shows a hat. Yes, you will not talk frankly with such people about what is inside you, you will not discuss boas, stars or the jungle. The pilot was lonely until he met the Little Prince.

The pilot was flying over the Sahara, and suddenly there was some kind of malfunction with the engine. It was necessary to somehow fix the motor, because the water would not be enough for a long time. Dawn came, the pilot woke up from hearing an unusual voice. He saw a tiny baby, who, it is not clear how he ended up in the desert, and who turned to him with a request: please draw a lamb. They became friends. The baby had golden hair, and he had a thin voice. But most of all, the pilot was surprised that this crumb was the first to recognize in that old drawing exactly a boa constrictor, and not a hat. Yes, it was a boa constrictor that swallowed an elephant. A little later, the pilot found out that the planet of the Little Prince was Asteroid B-612, and from there he arrived. Only there was no need to memorize the number of the planet, let boring adults who only think about numbers do this. Continuing the summary of "The Little Prince", let's look at the planet of this fabulous baby.

The little prince took great care of his planet, which was like a house in size: every day he cleaned volcanoes, two of which were active, and one had already died out. He carefully uprooted the small baobabs growing there. At first, the pilot had no idea why weed the sprouts of these trees and why they were dangerous, but later he understood. Then he decided to draw visually what happened to the lazy planet, who was too lazy to weed out a few bushes. But the Little Prince could not be called a lazy person, he tried very hard to maintain cleanliness on his planet. However, the baby was sad and lonely, and most of all he liked to admire the sunset - this dispelled his sadness. He moved his chair several times a day to keep up with the sun. Once the Little Prince noticed an amazing flower - a proud and touchy beauty. The flower had thorns, but the baby realized that he loved her - capricious, cruel and arrogant. At that time, he did not yet realize how much the beauty had changed his life and illuminated it. He decided to confess his love to the flower and say goodbye to him. Having finally cleaned the volcanoes and weeded the sprouts as usual, the Little Prince flew away.

He began his wandering and managed to visit neighboring planets. More precisely, they were asteroids, and there were six of them in the neighborhood. During the first stop, the Little Prince immediately realized how strange these adults were. He met a king who dreamed of subjects, so he said that he would like to see the baby as a minister. The inhabitant of the second asteroid was an ambitious man, the third one was inhabited by a drinker, and the fourth one was too businesslike. On the fifth, the Little Prince met the lamplighter, who was most sympathetic to him, because he tirelessly lit the lights in the lanterns every evening, and extinguished them in the morning. True, his planet was so small that day and night changed every minute. The kid would like to become a friend of the Lamplighter, but his planet was too small. But how great it would be to watch the sunset 1440 times a day!

The sixth planet was the home of the geographer. And since he had such a profession, this man only did what he asked where the traveler came from, what he knew about his country. The geographer recorded all this and compiled books. The little prince wanted to tell the geographer about the beautiful flower, but he said that it makes no sense to write about flowers, because they are so short-lived. Another thing is to write down a story about mountains and oceans! And then the Little Prince realized that his beauty had a short age, and she was left alone, defenseless and helpless! But he was still offended by her, so he flew on, but his thoughts were only about his amazing flower.

Finally, the Little Prince arrived on the seventh planet. This is Earth! Oh, how difficult it is! One has only to think about the fact that more than a hundred kings, thousands of geographers, hundreds of thousands of business people who mind their own business, and millions of drunkards. Not to mention ambitious people, they generally do not count. In general, two billion adults. The kid chose only three friends - a snake, a Fox and a pilot. The snake said that she would help him, and thanks to the Fox, the Little Prince learned to be friends. Anyone can befriend the one they have tamed, but then you need to take care of such a friend to the end. The fox has also revealed a secret: the eyes will not see everything, and the most important thing can be seen only with the heart.

After that, the Little Prince realized that he must take care of his flower to the end, and firmly decided to return. Since he originally flew to Earth by falling in the desert, he hurried to that very place. And there he met a pilot, whom he asked to draw an unusual picture: a lamb sits inside the box, and next to it is a muzzle. When the Little Prince received his picture, he felt happy, and the pilot became sad because he thought that now he was tamed. We have almost reached the end of the short summary of The Little Prince.

Then, as promised by the Snake, she came to the aid of the baby. After her bite, everything ends within half a minute. The Yellow Snake can return anyone to their place - she can return a person to the earth, and thanks to her, the Little Prince returned to the star. When they said goodbye to the pilot, he explained to him that there was no need to cry after he left, although it would resemble death. But when the pilot looks at the stars at night, you can remember the Little Prince. And if the baby there, in the sky, starts laughing, then all the stars will seem to be laughing ...

Here the plane was repaired, and the pilot returned to his comrades. Six years passed, the pilot calmed down a little and did not feel sad so much, and at night he peered into the starry sky. Until now, he is terribly worried, because the muzzle in the picture was left without a strap, but what if the lamb eats a rose? And then it begins to seem that all the stars in the sky are crying. Suddenly the flower is no more, then everything changes. What a pity that no adult will ever feel how important this is.
