Dowsing is one of the most interesting and at the same time controversial phenomena. One after another, discussions flare up around the question of the possibility of humans and animals to find objects of interest to them at a great distance or hidden under water or land. At the heart of dowsing in humans and various animal species, there may be completely different mechanisms for achieving the goal. The common thing is that we are dealing with weak, but highly informative energy interactions. So far, living devices that receive information about the location of the desired object are unknown to us. However, experiments repeatedly confirm that living organisms use dowsing.
Peacock butterflies look for a female at a distance of more than 10 kilometers. Salmon definitely find their native river. Termites know where the ants are at war with them. In all these examples, scientists have either come close to unraveling the nature of such dowsing, or they know approximately where living devices are located that receive signals from a transmitting object. But there are cases of dowsing, which are much more difficult to explain.
You need to have real engineering skills to skillfully eat wood out of furniture, poles, wooden buildings and fill the resulting voids with earth so that the structure cannot collapse. This is where the first mysterious ability of termites manifests itself - to feel the tension of wood fibers in the structure. After all, only having information about the entire building, you can eat away parts that do not carry the main load. This is a real dowsing, however, acting at a not very long distance.
No less surprising is the ability of termites to navigate in space and build structures without the use of vision. It has been experimentally proven that termites sense the Earth's magnetic field and electrostatic field. They can even feel a living organism from a distance. No matter how quietly a person or animal approaches a termite mound, sentries will still raise the alarm. Apparently, around every living being there is a complex of different fields, which was previously called the biological field. It is these fields that are perceived by termites. This is the only way we can yet imagine how termites "see" in the dark and through the walls of their homes.
Many species of termites make their nests out of cardboard. They hold the particles of wood and earth together with their secretions, like cement. Strong hygienic walls are obtained. Columns, vaults and arches are erected inside the termite mound. At the same time, the incomprehensible “underground vision” again works, which in this case is directed not at living objects, but at building structures. How else can one explain the exact joining of the ends of the arch, produced by insects in complete darkness? It can be assumed that termites located at the ends of the arch exchange information using all the same fields.

In wet weather, there are many frogs in the forest. How do they get to their native reservoir? There are so many obstacles in their way. Maybe frogs navigate by the sun? But in rainy weather it is not. It is also difficult to determine the road by the smell in the forest, there are so many different smells. And yet the frogs find their home. In spring, toads and frogs always correctly choose the direction to their native reservoir when they go to spawn. Scientists conducted various experiments. They took the frogs several kilometers away, closed their eyes and nose, but in all cases they returned to their reservoir.
Scientists cannot yet explain the nature of the location, which allows frogs to find a reservoir, even if it is drained and plowed up. However, it can be assumed that these animals subtly feel the "energy" grid that covers the earth's surface. The presence on the earth's surface of ordered magnetic tracks in the form of a spiral has already been found by an English scientist. It is interesting to note that these magnetic anomalies, captured only by the most modern magnetometers, were known to the ancient people of the Neolithic era. From the stones they laid out images of spirals in seven turns.
In winter, seals living in the polar seas do not leave their holes, they make sure that polynyas do not freeze, in which they feed and hide in case of danger. Scientists decided to find out what kind of fish animals eat. We carried out selective shooting from helicopters and found several large fish in the stomach of each seal, which are found only at a depth of 800-900 meters.
It turns out that the seal does not hunt for any fish, it “knows” that there, at almost a kilometer depth, large prey has appeared, which is moving in its direction. You need to dive and meet her underwater. This must be done ahead of time in order to get closer to the fish at the very moment when it swims past the hole. This is a typical dowsing. How the seal does it, where it draws "knowledge" from, scientists are still only deciding.
No less amazing cases of dowsing are described in dogs, when they find their owner in another city where they themselves have never been.
The writer V. Nemolyaev met the bright red dog Mishka in the House of Creativity near Moscow. The dog went fishing with him, followed the floats and warned him by barking that the bite had begun. It is not clear how Mishka found out that the Nemolyaevs were supposed to be in the House of Creativity, but the dog always appeared two days before their arrival, although it staggered around for months. The pinnacle of these connections, still completely inexplicable, was that the dog went to Moscow and after a few months found people she loved there. She came to the entrance of the house, waited for Nemolyaev's wife to leave the house, and rushed to her, almost knocking her down. The vine, or “magic wand,” is the simplest indicator that people have been using for thousands of years to find water and ore. According to some researchers, the ancient Sumerians, Chaldeans and Babylonians owned this method. The vine, of course, was not magical. It is not a search device, even the most primitive one. It is rather the arrow of the device, the device itself is a person.
Time passed, but the dowsers did not forget about their abilities. Their practical help was simply necessary when choosing a place where to dig a well or lay a mine.
Water finders have been known in Russia since time immemorial. At the beginning of our century in Moscow they even arranged a test for dowsers. One of them was taken around the city and his testimony was checked against the plan of the city's water supply network. The water finder, previously completely unfamiliar with the location of the pipes, indicated exactly where they were underground.
Currently, the boundaries of dowsing are significantly expanded. Modern "dowsers" not only help to explore minerals, but also work in the architectural, historical, restoration and cultural-historical fields. They find the remains of buildings, foundations, underground passages hidden underground.
An interdepartmental commission has been set up in Moscow under the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Communications named after AS Popov, dealing with the problems of dowsing.
Many times I had to observe the work of operators conducting dowsing surveys. It is always surprising that two strangers, in different time exploring the same area often point to the same points. To some extent, this can dispel distrust of dowsing. After all, the question is still controversial, the dowsing mechanism has not been finally explained. While we are building hypotheses, conducting various experiments to reveal the secret of dowsing, this method is already widely used in practice. We have a geological party "Ukrbiolocation" in the country, subordinate to the Ministry of Geology of the Ukrainian SSR. The operators included in this group successfully find not only water, but also non-metallic mineral deposits, such as gypsum. Important help they help urban planners by pointing out with the help of dowsing where underground karst voids are located. If a building is built on such a site, it may collapse. Searching for karst voids by the usual method is a very expensive undertaking.
The question arises: where to get so many dowsing operators? It turns out that a significant part of people can master the methods of dowsing. Approximately eighty out of a hundred people who first took the frame in their hands show the effect of its rotation in places with the desired object. But this is only a manifestation of the effect. To become a good operator, you need to train a lot, develop your sensitivity.
A trained person with a frame can find a lot: mark the boundaries of an ore body, find the ruins of an ancient city, discover a vein of water, find burials of gold, silver and copper coins, and, finally, simply mark where the void is. By the activity of the reaction of the frame, you can determine how deep it lies. The maximum depth at which the frame still clearly responds to the object under study can exceed 700 meters.
It has now been established that it is possible to search for objects under water using dowsing. Such experiments were carried out by AI Pluzhnikov. The experiments consisted in the fact that the operator was placed on a small boat, which moved for eight days in certain directions in a limited area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe sea. As a result of this work, a "dowsing" map was compiled, which was verified with a geophysical one. They turned out to be identical. But Pluzhnikov also owns another equally interesting experiment on the dowsing of floating objects.
Is it possible to consider a ship located, say, 40 kilometers from the observer? No. And by dowsing the horizon with the help of frames, you can indicate the direction where this ship is located. The results of the experiment were confirmed by the radar readings. A. I. Pluzhnikov believes that the dowsing of surface objects can have a great practical value. Firstly, it will allow searching for lost buoys, empty tanks, and fishing equipment. Secondly, dowsing can be used for commercial reconnaissance, to identify accumulations of fish and other animals. Finally, this method will make it possible to locate the shipwrecked.
Why does the frame or vine rotate in the hands of the operator? Now we can say with confidence that the frame is driven by a person. This is an idiomotor reaction of a person. The muscles of the hand involuntarily, even imperceptibly for the operator himself, contract in response to the unconscious analysis of the fields surrounding the person and their change when moving in space. It is even better to say that it is not the field itself that is captured, but its changes and anomalies.
There is nothing mystical about this phenomenon, it is quite material. The experimenters connected a myograph to the muscles of the operator walking with the frame and noted that the muscles contracted first, and then the frame changed its position. On the other hand, checking with sensitive instruments shows that over a reservoir, ground or underground, near trees, as well as over various occurrences underground and voids, the electric field strength drops. Apparently, without realizing it, a person catches these deviations of the fields.
J. Rocard, professor at the University of Paris, believes that the dowsing effect is based on a person's ability to subconsciously respond to individual magnetic field disturbances that produce electromagnetic induction, and the appearance of electrical voltage that directly affects nerve cells and provides sensitive information.
But no matter what hypotheses are built, scientific evidence requires experimental verification of the influence of magnetic, electric, gravitational and other fields on the dowsing effect. It is also necessary to study the psychological and mental reactions of the operator during dowsing. So far, only one thing is clear: the frame or vine acts as an arrow of a biological device - a person, allowing you to focus on it a subconscious analysis of the fields.
I have seen operators who do not use any frames for dowsing. And some sailors with inborn hypersensitivity develop the ability to search for shipwrecked without the use of bioindicators.
Let's hope that scientists will soon thoroughly understand the mysterious mechanism of dowsing, one of the most interesting effects inherent in both humans and animals.

The phenomenon of dowsing

The phenomenon of dowsing (dowsing, dowsing) consists in the fact that for many people (90% of the population) a wire frame or a forked branch clamped in their hand deviates and even rotates when a person passes through a piece of land where underground water flows (water veins) are located, ore deposits, karst caves, treasures and other objects. Drilling carried out in these places for control, or direct excavation confirms the ability of people to find everything that is hidden in the ground. The same dowsing method reveals geopathogenic zones (areas on the earth's surface in which adverse effect certain factors on the health and well-being of a person or animals), intersections of underground water streams, global wire mesh lines, and geological faults.

For a long time, dowsing was not officially recognized and was considered an unscientific research method based on intuition, on the reflex reaction of a person who accidentally finds a fossil object. Over time, the attitude towards it has changed, since its effectiveness has been proven in many works. National public organizations dowsers (dowsing operators). Such societies operate in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Denmark, India, Canada, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, USA, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan. The borrowing of the term “biolocation”, which was used in biology as a collective designation for various mechanisms of animal location (ultrasonic location of dolphins and bats, electrolocation of fish) occurred in the middle of the 20th century in one of these communities; as a result, the original meaning of the term has been virtually ousted from the media.

Dowsing principle

Modern practices of dowsing offer various explanations for this phenomenon (for example, the perception of "biofields", "geopathogenic zones", "radiesthesia" - sensitivity to "radiation of the aura", etc.), however, they remain esoteric practices, i.e. declare the dependence of the results on the personality of the operator and the irreproducibility of the effect by instrumental means.

Let's try to define the principle of dowsing. Dowsing is the ability of a frame, pendulum or rod to move under the influence of external factors.

There are many hypotheses about the essence of dowsing, here are the main ones:
- Suggestion and self-hypnosis
-ideomotor reaction
-Electric (electrostatic)
- Magnetic
-gravity
-Nuclear magnetic and paramagnetic resonance
-Special Psi-field

None of them describe this phenomenon exhaustively. Almost all effects are present in it, and yet the last hypothesis describes this phenomenon most fully. A person interacts with a special Psi-field. The psi component is the main driving force dowsing.

Experimental verification of the dowsing phenomenon

a) Yorish and Turobov experiment
The experiment was set up by Yu. Yorish and B. Turobov as part of the official verification of statements about practical significance dowsing in general and the existence, in particular, of the "biofield" as a mechanism underlying it; the results of the experiment are described in the popular science journal Nature (1984, no. 11).

Dowsers and experimenters (inductors) participated in the experiment. Three cabinets with empty lockable boxes marked with numbers were installed in the room, the inductor pulled out at random one of the three tickets with a number and put a piece of lead in one of the boxes with the same number, after which he invited the dowser operator to the room. The operator, under the supervision of the inductor, examined all three boxes with the help of a frame, after which he called the number of the box in which, in his opinion, the lead was hidden. In a series of 76 tests, 64 correct results (84%) were obtained, which is significantly higher than the result of random selection (33%). However, if the inductor was with its back to the operator or behind a plywood screen, the results deteriorated significantly. In the absence of an inductor, that is, when the lead was hidden by a third person who left the room during the search, the results were close to random. The following experiment was carried out as a control: a third party gave the inductor a ticket with a number, but the lead was not placed in the boxes, in this case the operator pointed to the box with a number that matched the ticket number in 17 cases out of 21 (80%).

b) Sydney experiment
In 1980, in Sydney, James Randi and Dick Smith offered a sum of $40,000 for a successful demonstration of dowsing, and everyone was allowed to test. A set of ten plastic pipes 4 inches in diameter were offered as an object for demonstrating abilities, buried in the ground at half their length by a few inches, that is, the applicants could see them; then, through one of the randomly selected pipes, a stream of water was launched and the applicant was asked to determine in which of the pipes it flows. 16 applicants took part in the testing, each made 5-10 attempts (the number of attempts was determined by the participant), in order to eliminate the influence of ideomotor mechanisms, the experimenters who communicated with the applicants did not know which of the pipes water was flowing into. A total of 111 attempts were made, of which 15 (13.5%) were successful (pointing to a pipe with flowing water), which almost coincides with the result of random selection (10%). The prize money remained unclaimed.

History of dowsing

Very often dowsing is mentioned in Old Testament. Only there it is not a twig, but a rod. Let us recall, for example, the "cutting of the rock" by Moses, leading his people out of Egypt through the desert. After all, the well-known terms for the most part are translations, not always equivalent to those terms that were used in those distant times by other peoples. Thus, the “cutting of the rock” by dowsers (Latimer, 1876) was interpreted as a search for water with the help of a vine, that is, a wand.

Dowsing (dowsing) was used in all countries of the East. The Chinese used the vine to search for water and minerals. Historical evidence has been preserved that the vine in China and Persia at that time was widely used in everyday life.

Dowsing was especially widespread in Germany. The Germans used the services of an ore-finding vine and boasted of their ability to find deposits of all kinds of ores and water with the help of such a vine, no matter how deep they were.

Another type of vine is the "star" pendulum or, as it is commonly called, a plumb line. The history of the pendulum, like the vine, also goes back into the mists of time. It was used in Mesopotamia, Babylon, Assyria, Chaldea, and later in Greece and Rome. Previously, in ancient times, the pendulum was called sidereal, which in Latin means a number of concepts - stellar, cosmic, solar, celestial, divine, radiant. Now the addition "starry", sometimes "cosmic" has stuck to it and is most often used. The "star" pendulum refers to magical instruments. Many philosophers and great scientists wrote about the pendulum, its role in the development of magic and its influence on the fate of man: Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Archimedes. The latter used a pendulum in the calculations. The pendulum, as the simplest simple device, was used by the Greeks and Romans for all kinds of divination. Sailors used the pendulum for orientation without the help of a compass in almost any weather conditions. The vine and the pendulum work on the same principle. Only the rod is an indicator that is easy to work with on the ground, and the pendulum is mainly used for desk work. But, both of them are universal indicators that allow answering many questions.

So what can a frame do?

Using the dowsing technique, you can search for various items and not only on the ground, but also on the map. Look for water, identify mineral deposits. Specialists can search for people who may be currently hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from the operator. Lost in the forest will help determine the right direction. With the help of the frame, it is also possible to determine the anomalous and geopathogenic zones of the earth. For a long time people have been talking about the dead and good places. Houses were built in good places. They tried to avoid dead places. What are these dead places and how to characterize them? In most cases, this is energy that comes from the depths of the earth and rises to the stratosphere in the form of a grid. That is, if we look at it from above, we will see the correct cells.

The most common descriptions of these grids are named after Z. Wittman, F. Peiro, M. Kurri, E. Hartman. These geonets have regular cells of the following sizes: E. Hartman grids (2m x 2.5m), F. Peyrot grids (4m x 4m), M. Curry grids (5m x 6m), Z. Wittman grids (16m x 16m).

Energy outputs are also observed at fault points. earth's crust, where ore deposits, underwater lakes, intersections of water flows are located. Anomalous zones are also observed in UFO landing sites or can occur in places where UFOs impact on the earth's surface with various energies of an unknown nature, in places where meteorites fall. I also happened to identify geogrids with cell sizes up to hundreds of meters and kilometers. These structures are superimposed on each other, thus enveloping the entire earth.

Anomalous zones cosmic origin are local and range in size from a few square centimeters to hundreds of meters and even kilometers.
Anomalous zones also occur in places of human activity ( nuclear power plants, cemeteries, underground communications) and in the places of his residence (due to conflicts and various objects - figurines, paintings that make changes to the energy structure of the room). These abnormal zones are harmful to human health, both mental and physical.

Geonetworks consisting of strips up to 15-20 centimeters thick are practically not dangerous. But if the thickness of the strip exceeds these dimensions, then a long stay in the zone of action can cause a mutation on cellular level(oncological diseases). AT anomalous zones of cosmic and other origin, changes in human structures are also observed, which can lead to diseases, sometimes incurable.

Conclusion

A person armed with the dowsing method is able to effectively and simply, without resorting to the most complex psycho-training used in Eastern systems and far from safe for a person with an unprepared consciousness, and without the use of complex Western techniques, to carry out the following:
