The modernization of education has put before modern school the task is to educate a competent, creatively thinking generation. Human uniqueness is closely related to the ability to be creative. Creativity involves a new vision, new approach, a new solution, i.e. willingness to abandon stereotypes of perception, thinking and behavior.

If we want the child to develop and grow as a person, it is necessary not only to orient him to our requirements, but also to help the child follow his own inner goals and desires. Usually it is easier for children to realize their personal goals in creativity.

In the process of developing the creative abilities of children Special attention should be paid to the maximum stimulation of independent activity of younger students, to the formation of their sustainable creative interests, purposefulness, perseverance in solving creative problems.

Tasks of a creative nature are tasks aimed at developing the operational side of the intellect, mental functions, techniques and operations of mental activity.

A characteristic feature of creative tasks is the presence in them not of any cognitive content, but of hidden ways of solving a game problem, which requires ingenuity, ingenuity from a younger student, i.e. non-standard creative thinking.

Work in the lessons of literary reading provides an excellent opportunity for the manifestation creativity students and their personalities. The child's imagination, the ability to fantasize are actively developed as a result of a research search. The main thing is to support and direct the fantasy and imagination of young writers and poets in a creative direction, to help successfully develop their speech, their speech creativity. To teach a little schoolboy to speak clearly and competently, to express his own thoughts in a free creative interpretation in oral and written form, to be able to express his emotions by various intonational means, to observe speech culture and to develop his ability to communicate is a complex and painstaking task that requires hard work from the teacher, and most importantly, an effective approach to the development of speech, to its organization and correction.

How to realize the potential of the child's speech abilities, encourage the creation of the simplest stories, fairy tales, poems? What advice would you give parents to get their kids to thrive? creative expression in the word?

The purpose of the exercises in this collection is to answer these questions and help to educate a person who is able to move away from the standard and template, which is so necessary today.

Fantasy exercises

Everything that surrounds us is created by nature and human imagination.

Fantasy is the capacity for creative imagination. Without the ability to fantasize, it would be impossible to create anything new. In the process of teaching and educating younger students, the following fantasy techniques can be used:

1

. revival

Children are invited to come up with a fairy tale about some subject. You can come up with a story or a fairy tale on behalf of this subject. For example: leaf, snowflake, ant, ruler, etc. For example:

Snowflake.

Here comes the winter. There were many snowflakes in the air. They were all very beautiful. They flew and admired the beauty of trees and fields. And only one snowflake kept repeating: “Oh, how airy and fluffy I am. There is no one more beautiful than me in the whole wide world. She flew, admired her dress and lagged behind her sisters.

Suddenly a wind came up and carried her away into the snowy distance. When she fell to the ground, she realized how bad it was to be alone. Snowflake sadly recalled how she played hide-and-seek with her sisters, sang songs, and danced round dances. As she lay on the ground, evening came. Snowflake wanted to sleep. She fell asleep with one thought that she would figure out how to return home. (Masha B.)

2. Reception "Binom-fantasy"

A binomial is created from two words so that these words are separated by a certain distance, i.e., so that one word is alien to the other, so that their neighborhood is unusual. Only then the imagination is activated, seeking to establish between said words kinship, to create something united.

If you come across words like “pump monkey”, this is a binomial, because there is a semantic distance between these two words. Indeed, in ordinary life, monkeys do not use a pump. And so there is a "flash" associative thinking. Now you need to help the student compose a fairy tale. You can start with the fact that the monkey found the pump.

Monkey Tutti found a pump on a palm tree. Neither the monkey nor other African animals and birds knew what to do with this pump. The boa constrictor decided to take the pump from the monkey and drag it to him. He grabbed the hose, and the monkey, in surprise, began to raise and lower the pump handle. A few minutes later, the boa constrictor turned into a ball. He could not resist, rolled down from the palm tree and, like a huge soccer ball, rushed to the crocodile river.

3. Fairy tales inside out

Children are invited to come up with a fairy tale, for example, about three little pigs and gray wolf. Only the piglets in this tale are evil and cunning, the wolf is kind and trusting.

Or come up with a different end to the fairy tale “Gingerbread Man”, starting with a critical situation: Gingerbread Man is sitting on the nose of a fox.

4. Sounding the picture

Students are provided with illustrations. Children pronounce sounds, words, sentences that they could hear when they were in the center of the illustration.

5. Fantastic hypotheses

Compiling a story based on a phrase:

I opened the door and there...
I looked out the window and...

What would happen and what would you do if:

soda poured from the tap;
- raisins began to fall from the clouds instead of rain;
- people came up with a pill for sleep.

6. Letters to fairy tale characters, aliens

Like a type of writing. This type of work teaches to speak correctly and figuratively, develops observation.

7. Continue the text

This task involves the development of fantasy, imagination and the ability to express your fantasies using words.

Lived - there was an Asterisk. One morning, when it was necessary to get up and light the sun for a new day, Asterisk dropped a spark in flight. It immediately became dark and sad. What to do?

8. Composing fairy tales with given characters

A lion, a parrot and a dog lived in the zoo. One day…

At the edge of the forest lived a little dwarf. He lived in his little house. One day…

Among the priority modernization strategies modern education remains focused on development creativity schoolchildren as determining the conditions for flexible adaptation to the realities of society. It is known that primary school age is the most sensitive period for the development of many personal abilities, including general ability to creativity - creativity.

Under the creativity psychological research understand the complex of intellectual and personal characteristics of the individual, contributing to the independent advancement of problems, the generation a large number original ideas and unconventional solutions. The concept of creativity as a universal cognitive creativity gained popularity after the work of J. Gilford. He mentions six dimensions of creativity:

  1. Ability to detect and formulate problems.
  2. Ability to generate more ideas.
  3. Flexibility is the ability to produce a variety of ideas.
  4. Originality - the ability to respond to stimuli in a non-standard way.
  5. The ability to improve an object by adding details.
  6. Ability to solve problems i.e. ability to analyze and synthesize.

E.P. Torrens defines creativity as a process of manifestation of sensitivity to problems, lack of knowledge, their disharmony, inconsistency, etc.; fixing these problems, searching for their solutions, putting forward hypotheses; testing, changing and retesting hypotheses; and, finally, the formulation and communication of the result of the decision. According to E.P. Torrens, creativity - natural process, which is generated by a strong human need to relieve tension that arises in a situation of uncertainty or incompleteness. Creativity can be manifested in thinking, communication, certain types activities. It can characterize the personality as a whole and (or) its individual abilities.

There is a creative potential in every child, and it is necessary to develop such qualities of a creative person as activity, curiosity, fantasy, vigilance, optimism, fluency and flexibility of thinking. On the basis of creative potential develop creative abilities: a complex of individual psychological abilities of a person, allowing her to successfully solve problematic, creative tasks in non-standard situations, the ability and readiness for creative creative activity. Exactly creative activity makes a person a being, facing the future, creating and modifying his present.

According to L.S. Vygotsky, it is easy to see that creative processes manifest in full force already in early childhood. One of the very important issues child psychology and pedagogy is a question about creativity in children, about the development of this creativity and about the meaning creative works for general development and maturation of the child. “It is impossible to teach the creative act of art, but this does not mean at all that the educator cannot contribute to its formation and manifestation.” The most important condition for the manifestation of creativity, L.S. Vygotsky, that the activity of the child's imagination almost never arises without the help and participation of adults. The younger student learns not so much from the teacher as with him. Together they go through a long history of gestation and development of modes of activity, culminating in an act of creativity.

Yu.A. Poluyanov, in a joint ascent to the work of a teacher and a student, very conditionally distinguishes three stages: preparatory, staging and final, which are most often not localized in time and place. Each, however, has its own content, and each corresponds to a special form of interaction between the teacher and students.

Until the age of seven, children can only find reproductive images-representations of objects known to them, events not perceived in this moment time, and these images are mostly static. Productive images-representations of the result of a new combination of some elements appear in children in the process of special creative tasks.

At primary school age, children have significant reserves of development. With the child entering school, under the influence of education, the restructuring of all his conscious processes begins, the acquisition of new qualities by him. child learns the world and does it not abstractly and dispassionately, but experiences what is happening to him, forms his own own attitude to what surrounds him, chooses some activities and rejects others. For the teacher, what is important in these lessons is not the aesthetic side of children's work, but the emerging relationships. This is what makes creativity lessons so valuable: in these lessons there are no capable and incapable, all tasks are available to all children, and not just to those who are artistically gifted.

The teacher cannot and should not engage in psychological analysis of the results joint activities their students. Creativity lessons for the teacher are valuable in that they allow you to remove what exists in the class as a whole or in individual students. emotional stress, express repressed emotions, find a new approach to solving the problem. A creative teacher, using art therapy techniques in his work, develops the child's imagination and imagination.

Other important condition development of creativity is the content of the material.

As an appendix to the article, we will give an example of the use of art therapy techniques in the classroom.

Lesson "The house we live in"

This activity promotes the development of spontaneity, allows you to clarify personality traits, values, the nature of the problems of each participant, his position in the group, has the potential to develop the creative abilities of students.

The lesson is held in the classroom. Students are divided into groups of equal numbers, 5-6 people each. Based on the number of groups, the tables should be connected in such a way that the children can work together.

Materials:

Large sheets of paper, one for each group of children; colored crayons, wax pastels, felt-tip pens; devices that allow you to attach completed drawings to a board or wall.

Stages

1. mood

Exercise "Mirror".

One participant plays the role of a leader, the other - a follower. The task of the leader is to lead, the follower is to follow the leader in movements, trying to repeat them as accurately as possible, at the same pace. Then there is an exchange of roles. At the end of the exercise, it is important to find out in what role each of the participants felt more confident, more comfortable, more secure.

2. Work in groups

Children are divided into equal groups at will or arbitrarily. Each group receives a large sheet of paper, colored materials for work.

Instruction:

  • Together, come up with a home for your group. Draw it.
  • Choose one person from each group who could tell about who invented the house, who painted what and who would like to live where.

3. Verbalization stage

Children take turns presenting their architectural projects” and talk about how the work in the group went. Both the process of work itself and the story about it allows us to see children in collective creativity: “generators of ideas”, “performers”, debaters and those who are ready to compromise. It is worth paying attention to the place that the child chooses for himself in common house: is it inside or outside of it. If inside the house, then together, next to others, or secluded and separate from other "residents" of the house? If, during the discussion of work, it suddenly turns out that some child has not found his place in the house of the group to which he belongs, you can invite him to choose another house (another group of students) and ask the children to invite a new tenant or guest.

4. The final stage

You can attach the resulting images of houses to a sheet of drawing paper, create a background to make a kind of city where everyone is happy and comfortable; draw at each house of its inhabitants, write good wishes.
