In addition, a printed sheet with evaluation criteria will not be out of place in the scheduling folder, teachers, especially young ones, are prone to overestimating grades, because they do not always know how to adequately evaluate the work of students in the lesson. The ability to differentiate knowledge when studying subjects of the humanities cycle is especially important, because a student can receive an assessment not for solving a specific equation or retelling a paragraph, but for comprehensive work on the lesson.

In planning, the teacher is guided by general provisions and concepts, education law, as well as curricula for a particular subject. Educational programs, as a rule, are the same for the whole region, they describe topics for study, situations of communication (when learning foreign languages), skills that a student should have at the end of the school year. The program for each subject is divided into classes or years of study, if the discipline is not introduced from the first grade, in addition, the programs for general education and specialized schools are slightly different. Young teachers, who for the first time faced with the need to make calendar thematic planning, should remember that the programs change almost every year, therefore, before drawing up a work plan, it will not be superfluous to consult with experienced teachers, but better, with the methodologist of the city department of education.

The teacher's calendar-thematic planning is a folder with files where all lesson plans in all classes are collected, sometimes the school management requires that there be a separate planning folder for each class. This is not very convenient, because the teacher uses the document every day, and the introductory pages will simply be copied in several copies, which is not very economical - the cost of paper, ink, and typing is not paid to the teacher, this is his responsibility. The first page of planning is the title page, it contains the last name, first name and patronymic of the teacher, the subject he reads, the name of the educational institution, the date methodological meeting on which it was approved and the period of its validity. Each school usually has its own template that has not changed over the years, but sometimes the methodological office can offer a single standard for its locality, changes may relate to the layout of the text, font, line spacing and general view document.

The second page of the calendar and thematic planning is a list of current programs that are used in preparing for lessons, the names of textbooks and additional reference materials. It is worth taking into account that not only textbooks, but also all reference books, collections of exercises, rules and tests must be stamped by the Ministry of Education, not certified educational materials banned for school use. Lists of approved textbooks and manuals are published annually on the website of the Ministry of Education in the methodological equipment section or in its printed organ at the end of August, during the period
