State exam in Russian

The Unified State Examination in the Russian language is one of the main mandatory and most important items. It must be taken by all graduates, including when choosing technical specialties. This does not apply only to certain universities in which the USE is not a primary selection criterion (military institutions or specialties related to state secrets).

How to achieve good result? It is important to start preparing for the exam in advance. The school, of course, provides the necessary base, but for excellent result this is not enough. It is up to the graduate to decide whether to study independently, hire a personal tutor or attend specialized courses to prepare for the exam. Remember that often topics that seem the most banal and long-studied can literally drown in the exam and prevent you from getting a certificate.

To obtain a certificate, you must obtain at least 24 points; for successful admission to a university - 36 points. The time to complete the exam is 3 hours 30 minutes.

What does the USE in Russian consist of in 2018?

In total, the exam will have 2 parts of 26 tasks. The most hard part- the last 26th task, where you need to write an essay based on the text you read. If you encounter difficult questions in the first part (1-25), do not hesitate and write further.

What will change in exam tasks in 2018?

  1. This year, the task was included in the control and measuring material (CMM) basic level, which will become the main one when checking knowledge of lexical norms. Graduates will have to edit the sentence, removing the extra word from it. The difficulty is that you need to either have an excellent understanding of vocabulary, or have a brilliant intuition.
  2. The number of tasks will increase. The difference is only 1 question, but because of this, the number of total points also increases. Graduates are required to be able to analyze their mistakes, understand the structural features of tests, know the approximate wording of questions and be able to correctly allocate time to complete all tasks. You can’t get stuck on difficult issues, you need to immediately move on.

How to prepare for graduation essay?

Leave about an hour to write an essay on the text given in the assignment. Read the passage, compose rough plan essays, select the necessary arguments, add examples.

This is the hardest and main part state exam. It is required to understand the main topic, to formulate one's position on the problem and idea very clearly, etc. The essay has 3 main parts:

  1. Introduction. We interpret the main author's idea, reflect on this topic and move on to the main part.
  2. Main part. We formulate the problem, describe its relevance and importance. We comment that in the text it helped you to highlight this problem. Also, with the help of citations, we explain the author's position. Further, either we agree with the author, or we give counterarguments (at least two, one of which is literary).
  3. Conclusion. We briefly summarize all of the above.

The admission committee draws Special attention on the ability to rely on the text specified in the task. Do not write a heavy and long introduction. It should take up no more than a quarter of the entire work.

The Russian language is one of the compulsory subjects of the Unified State Examination. Without a positive exam result, a graduate simply will not receive a certificate of secondary education. What is the current version of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language? What should be taken into account when preparing?

All USE assignments in the Russian language require good knowledge school curriculum do not go beyond its scope. Nevertheless, the tasks are structured in such a way that they test the most diverse knowledge of students and their ability to work with text.

Control and measuring materials (KIM) in the Russian language consist of two parts. The first part includes 24 tasks with a short answer or with a choice of correct answers. The second part involves writing an essay-reasoning on the text read.

First part

Let's take a closer look at the tasks of the first part. Exam work opens with a small text scientific style. The first assignment for early stages preparation is often difficult for students. It requires finding sentences that contain the main information of the text. What can be advised? It is necessary to find in the text the key, most important in terms of content, words. And then find answers in which all these words will be present.

Task number 4

Task number 4 also causes difficulties, because it tests the knowledge of orthoepic norms, in other words, the ability to stress words. But some words in everyday life are often mispronounced, we get used to their incorrect pronunciation. In fact, these words have to be memorized again in preparation for the exam.

Task number 7

Task number 7 is very "expensive". If performed correctly, it can earn you as many as five primary points. But it is also very complex, because it includes great amount grammar rules. Here is the ability to use participial and participle phrases, and the ability to choose the right form of a word for certain prepositions, and the ability to build simple and complex sentences. And not just to build the correct construction yourself, but to find errors in already proposed sentences, among which there are absolutely correct from a grammatical point of view. Preparation for this task must begin in advance, then it becomes clear which constructions can be erroneous.

Tasks #8-14

Tasks from the eighth to the fourteenth check the knowledge of spelling, the rules for writing words, starting with vowels in the root of the word and ending with the continuous-separate spelling of words of various parts of speech. Traditionally, the greatest difficulty is writing not with various parts speech (task 12), spelling n, nn (task 14), as well as continuous separate spellings(task 13). In task 13, there are words that may be partial homonyms, that is, they are pronounced the same way, but they are written differently. So these rules should also be taken into account.

Tasks #15-19

Tasks from the fifteenth to the nineteenth checks the ability to put punctuation marks in sentences of various syntactic structures. It is important to understand which sentence is in front of you: simple or complex, whether it has homogeneous members, appeals, introductory constructions. Of course, knowledge of the rules studied in grades 5-9 is checked.

Tasks No. 20-24: working with text

Then, the writers of the exam are offered a large text of an artistic or journalistic style. Tasks twenty to twenty-four test knowledge about the text as such. How much the student understands the content of the read passage, whether he understands the types of speech and the means of connecting sentences in the text. Completing task 24 can earn you 4 primary scores when done correctly. The task tests knowledge about the means artistic expressiveness used in the proposed text. Please note that there are hints in the task: it is indicated what kind of means of expression is used: syntactic, lexical, trope (word in figurative meaning). Of course, this material also needs to be repeated.

Second part

The second part of the examination paper offers to write an essay-reasoning on the read text. We immediately pay attention to the type of speech. Essay-reasoning. That is, your work should have a clear structure: thesis, arguments, conclusion. An essay in Russian is written according to:

  • First, we indicate the problem of the read text. There may be more than one problem in the text. You need to choose one.
  • The second is to comment on the formulated problem. In fact, this is the answer to the question why the author spoke about this. The comment is taken from the text. What the author saw in the life around him, what he heard, remembered, read, what he spoke about this problem.
  • Thirdly, it is necessary to determine the position of the author on the problem raised.
  • The fourth is to express your point of view. This will be your thesis. You may or may not agree with the author.
  • Fifth - pick up two arguments in defense of your point of view. And the maximum high score according to this criterion, you will receive only if one of the arguments is from fiction, scientific literature or journalism. The second may be from life. You can, of course, give two arguments from life, but you will lose one point. Sixth - you need to draw a conclusion, summing up your thoughts. This is about the way we see that the examination paper is evaluated when checking the work.

Thus, we see that there is nothing in the examination paper that goes beyond the framework of the school curriculum. But the amount of material being tested is quite large. Therefore, you need to start preparing, of course, in advance. It would be nice to completely write the work, identify problem areas and work them out. You will know which questions are difficult for you. If you start studying in advance, for example, from the beginning of the school year, then there is every chance not only to pass the exam, but to pass it very well.

Part 1 includes 24 tasks. You must formulate answers to these tasks yourself. The answer can be written as a word(s) or numbers. Part 2 consists of one task (25) and is a small written work by text (composition). When preparing for the Unified State Exam, it is important to learn the main thing: there is no need for special preparation for the USE in terms of the content of the subject. There is nothing in the text of the examination paper that would go beyond the limits of school textbooks on the Russian language and programs. However, preparation for the USE, as well as preparation for the traditional exam, does not exclude the necessary generalization and systematization of the material studied at school. How is the Russian language work assessed? For the correct performance of each task of part 1 (except tasks 1, 7, 15 and 24), the examinee receives 1 point. For an incorrect answer or its absence, 0 points are set. For completing tasks 1 and 15, from 0 to 2 points can be set. The answer is considered correct if it contains all the numbers from the standard and there are no other numbers. 1 point is given if one of the digits indicated in the answer does not correspond to the standard and / and one of the digits indicated in the answer standard is missing. In all other cases, 0 points are given. The order of writing the numbers in the answer does not matter. For the completion of task 7, from 0 to 5 points can be set. You need to read the text three sentences and understand its content. In task 1, you should choose two of the five proposed options, in which the MAIN information contained in the text is correctly conveyed. Incorrect statements are most often of three types: secondary information is given that does not reflect main idea text; a factual error was made that distorts the content of the text; a logical error was made: the semantic relationships between different parts text. In the answer form, you should write down the numbers of answers that correctly convey the main information contained in the text. This option is wrong, because it distorts the cause-and-effect relationships: much attention is paid to the development of Siberia, not only because it occupies a large territory. 2) Siberia surprises us not only with its size, but also with the fact that it is the world's largest treasury of minerals. This option is wrong, because the information it offers does not exhaust the content of the original text: the text says not only about what Siberia surprises us with. 3) In the plans for the economic development of Russia, much attention is paid to Siberia, since huge natural resources are concentrated in this region. This option is correct, since it reflects the main semantic parts of the original text: 1) Siberia is a rich land; 2) this feature determined the importance of this region in the economic development of the country. 4) Siberia occupies a special place in the development of the world economy, since this region occupies one fifteenth of the entire land mass of the Earth and huge natural resources are concentrated here.

21 24 Lesson 2 Information processing of written texts of various styles and genres This variant is incorrect, because a logical substitution has been made in it: two equivalent qualities are named as the reason: size and natural wealth. But Siberia has become an object of attention not because of its size, but because colossal reserves of natural resources are hidden in its depths. In addition, a factual error was made: the text does not refer to the “world economy”, but to the “economic development of Russia”. 5) Siberia, which has enormous natural wealth, is given great attention in Russia's economic development plans. This option is correct, since it reflects the main semantic parts of the original text: 1) Siberia is a rich land; 2) this feature determined the importance of this region in the economic development of the country. I write it down in the answer sheet: We complete task 2. Read the text again. We clarify the semantic relationships between the sentences of the text. Let us choose from the words (combinations of words) given below the one that should be in place of the gap in said proposal text, as it reflects these connections. The text says that Siberia is the largest treasury natural resources, therefore, it is given great attention in economic development plans. Therefore, from the proposed set, you must select the word THEREFORE and write it down in the answer sheet. I write down in the form of answers: 2 P O T O M U We carry out task 3. The word "plan" is ambiguous. We find it in the text. Let us define its meaning: the text refers to the fact that much attention will be paid to the development of the natural resources of Siberia. Therefore, we are talking about organizing purposeful activities, preparing the necessary funds, setting deadlines, and breaking them down into stages. Let's read dictionary entry, we find the meaning in which this word is used in the text (this value is 2), let's pay attention to those examples that illustrate its use in speech (Production p. Work according to plan. Strategic p. Calendar p.) I write in the answer sheet: 3 2 CLASS WORK Task 1. Insert the missing letters, open the brackets. Read the underlined words aloud with the correct stress. 1) In nouns denoting intermediate countries of the world, a hyphen should be put: southeast, northwest. 2) Self-interest is dangerous in that it makes a person blind and deaf, he commits (not) deliberate (n, n) acts and starts ..stuy, unsuccessfully ..rzhimo str..myasya for personal gain, t..ryat everything. 3) In the village .. we lived pr .. freely until the grandfather (not) began to scold us for laziness and idleness ..ness. 4) When the lo..ka re..ko tilted and water gushed over the side, for a moment I ra (s, ss) .. rushed. 5) All day long we were eagerly waiting for my aunt, who was always up to date with all the news, to call. Task 2. Work in pairs. Read the sentences in task 1 to your classmate, and then listen to his reading. Evaluate the correctness of his pronunciation.

22 Information processing of written texts of various styles and genres Lesson 2 25 Task Read the meanings of the paronyms. Diplomatic finely calculated, dexterous. D. refusal. Diplomatic pertaining to international politics. D. Corps. 2. Compose phrases with these words, using the appropriate paronym from the above. Sample. diplomatic response. Reception, person, conversation, representation, act, approach, protocol. Task 4. Work in pairs. The exercise contains a couple of words. Determine the semantic relationship between them and build the second pair of words on the same semantic relationships, choosing the right word from brackets to replace the gap. Formulate an explanation and share it with your classmate. Sample. Day night = movement (running, rocket, darkness, rest) rest. Reasoning pattern. Day and night are words opposite meaning, therefore, the same relationship must exist between the word "movement" and the word in brackets. We must choose the word "peace" because it is opposite in meaning to the word "movement". 1. Car constructor = music (composer, voice, singer, poetry). 2. Book paper = fortress (gate, assault, victory, stone). 3. Dishes cup = beast (hunter, prey, wolf, chicken). Task 5. Read the text. (3) The carbon dioxide of the atmosphere, intensively absorbing the infrared radiation of the Earth, will cause heating of both the planet itself and the lower layers of the atmosphere (a greenhouse effect is created), which will lead to the creation of such a hot and humid climate in which all life will die. 1) An increase in fuel consumption will cause a significant increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but the carbon dioxide content does not threaten either animals or people. 2) The climate of the Earth does not depend directly on the content of carbon dioxide, but if over time there is the greenhouse effect, it will cause life-threatening infrared radiation content. 3) The carbon dioxide of the atmosphere intensively absorbs the infrared radiation of the Earth, which can kill all living things.

23 26 Lesson 2 Information processing of written texts of various styles and genres 4) An increase in fuel consumption does not pose a direct threat to people and animals, but due to an increase in carbon dioxide content, it leads to a general heating of the Earth and the atmosphere, which can cause the death of all life on Earth. 5) Due to the growing consumption of fuel, the content of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases, and this can lead to the creation of such a hot and humid climate in which life on Earth will be impossible.
